Whirlpool ADA 24.55 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator 36-Inch Wide In Fingerprint Resistant Black Stainless Steel WRS325SDHV

This side-by-side model offers 25 cubic feet of capacity. Owners consistently praise the spacious layout, flexible shelving, and deep door shelves that accommodate gallon jugs and large items. Many reviewers highlight the roomy interior and appreciate the three drawers and multiple shelf configurations for organizing food.

Most owners report consistent, reliable cooling and freezing performance. Several reviewers note that the fridge maintains steady temperatures and keeps food properly chilled. However, a small number of owners have experienced temperature control issues—including one case where the fridge ran too cold (20°F instead of the target 35–40°F range) and another where condensation accumulated if temperature settings were not monitored carefully.

Owners appreciate the convenience of separate levers for water and ice, and many praise the ice maker's functionality. However, several recurring design issues are reported: the ice dispenser opening is too small to fit a standard 16 oz glass without hitting the water lever, causing splashing; ice cubes are small; the dispenser can be noisy; and water or melted ice may splash or overflow onto the floor beneath the dispenser. Some owners also report clogging issues with the ice maker.

No. Multiple owners report that the glass shelves in the refrigerator are fixed in height and cannot be adjusted. This limits flexibility for storing items of different sizes, such as large pots or pitchers. Some reviewers note this is a step down from older models that offered adjustable shelving.

Most owners describe the fridge as quiet and efficient. However, a few reviewers report that the ice maker is notably loud—one owner mentioned it is too loud to use at night, and another called it the loudest ice maker they have ever encountered. One owner also noted the refrigerator itself runs very noisily.

Opinions vary. Some owners praise the lighting, noting it shines in the right place and makes it easy to find items. However, at least one reviewer found the interior surprisingly dark, with only two small lights for the entire interior, making it difficult to see items clearly toward the back or on lower shelves.

Long-term reliability is mixed. Some owners report excellent durability, with units running well after several years or months of use. However, several owners have experienced significant failures: one unit's evaporator coil froze repeatedly after one year, another stopped working entirely after one year, and a third developed a freezing food problem that persisted even after service repair. These issues suggest potential durability concerns, though many newer purchases report satisfaction so far.

Owners note that the door swings open fully and may continue opening until it bangs back against the hinges if not held. The door shelves are deep and convenient for storing items. Some reviewers appreciate the overall design, though the wide swing and lack of a stop mechanism can be inconvenient.
