Amana 25 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator 36-Inch Wide In Stainless Steel ASI2575GRS

This side-by-side model has a total capacity of 25 cubic feet, with excellent space on both the freezer and refrigerator sides. Most reviewers praise the spacious layout and appreciate the adjustable shelving, though some note the freezer compartment is reduced by the ice maker storage.

Ice maker performance is mixed. Some owners report it works well and makes ice quickly, while others experience slow ice production that takes days to fill, cubes that freeze together, or low output that doesn't keep up with daily use. A few reviewers also note the ice maker can be loud during operation.

Noise levels vary by unit. Several owners report the refrigerator runs loudly or has a noisy vibration, particularly when the ice maker operates. However, some reviewers are pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is, suggesting performance may differ between individual units.

The dispenser has separate levers for water (top) and ice (bottom), but unlike most refrigerators, it does not have a one-or-the-other feature, so both can dispense simultaneously. Some owners find the water dispenser drips after use, and the dispenser opening may be too small for larger cups. A few note the water button is easy to accidentally push when reaching for ice.

Most owners report the refrigerator cools and freezes well. However, a few note temperature control issues—one owner reports everything freezes even on the lowest setting, while another finds the refrigerator side doesn't get quite cold enough. Some owners need to keep both freezer and refrigerator at the highest temperature setting to achieve desired results.

This side-by-side refrigerator measures 35.9 inches wide, 69.6 inches tall, and 34.1 inches deep. Be sure to measure your space carefully, including clearance for door swing and ventilation, before purchasing.

Most reviewers consider this a solid value, especially at sale or clearance prices. Owners appreciate the spacious layout, reliable cooling, and adjustable shelving for the cost. Several mention they would buy from this brand again, though a few note the ice maker limitations may be a trade-off at this price point.

Setup and operation directions are generally straightforward. However, some owners report missing shelves—one or more shelves may not be included in the box, and replacement shelves are expensive. It's worth checking the contents carefully upon delivery and contacting the retailer immediately if pieces are missing.
