Frigidaire Gallery 25.9 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator 36-Inch Wide In Stainless Steel GRSN2620AF

This model has 26 cubic feet of total capacity with a side-by-side layout. Reviewers consistently praise the spacious interior, noting it holds significantly more than expected and offers excellent organization with flexible shelving, multiple drawers for produce and dairy, and ample door storage on both the refrigerator and freezer sides.

Multiple reviewers who switched from French door refrigerators report that the side-by-side layout makes it easier to see and organize all contents without digging through deep drawers. The freezer compartment is more accessible and visible, and the design prevents food from getting lost in pull-out bins. Reviewers also appreciate that the freezer space is more organized and easier to manage.

This model features an internal water dispenser located inside the refrigerator door rather than on the exterior. Reviewers strongly prefer this design, citing benefits like a cleaner appearance, reduced mess, and added safety for households with children who cannot accidentally activate it. Some note the water dispenser is convenient and well-filtered.

The ice maker produces small, diamond-shaped ice cubes that fit easily into drinks. Most reviewers report it makes plenty of ice and keeps up with household demand without freezing up. A few note the cubes are smaller than expected or that the ice maker is slower than desired, but overall performance is praised as reliable and effective.

Most reviewers describe the unit as quiet and unobtrusive during normal operation. However, a few owners report that it runs constantly or makes loud noises, suggesting there may be some variability in noise levels between units or that certain operational patterns differ from other brands.

The temperature control buttons are located on the side of the refrigerator door and are easily accessible—some reviewers note they accidentally change settings by touching this area. Additionally, there is a cold air vent along the top shelf down the middle of the refrigerator; items placed directly in front of this vent may freeze, so avoid storing liquids there.

Most reviewers are satisfied with the build quality and modern design. However, a few owners have reported concerns: one experienced a freezer fan failure within three months, another noted that shelves and drawers feel cheaply made, and some worry about long-term durability compared to older appliances. Most units appear to be performing well so far, though some reviewers note it is still early to fully assess longevity.

One reviewer noted that the refrigerator required removing the front door from its hinges to fit through the house during installation. It is recommended to measure doorways and hallways carefully before delivery and to plan for potential disassembly of doors if needed.
