I bought this recently and it is very big and spacious. I love how the shelves are held up by pieces made into the fridge which makes a difference. The light shines in the right place and illuminates the fridge to see all your food. I haven't bought a fridge in 20 years so very excited.

Interior Lighting Opportunities. Good Unit..

Overall the Side-by-Side is a good unit, but opportunities are evident. For example, on the freezer side there are three glass shelves, but only one basket. We added a plastic basket onto one of the glass shelves to increase the usable storage space for the frozen food. On the refrigerator side the interior lighting is harsh and not well balanced. The light is located in the back right corner shining outwards, into the person's face. This is uncomfortable and also causes shadows. A single LED strip across the front, out of direct view of the person, would be an obvious improvement.

We bought this a month ago and while we have a whirlpool refrigerator that we bought 10 years ago that we love, this refrigerator is not as nice as our older refrigerator. The lighting is harsh and located at the back without a lens to keep it from shining in your eyes. The drawers on our older refrigerator have rollers so the drawers slide in and out easily. The new refrigerator doesn’t have these rollers so the drawers have friction when they slide. We bought this refrigerator because we had bought a Frigidaire refrigerator that the icemaker continuously broke down. We loved the whirlpool refrigerator we had previously. Thinking that this new whirlpool would be the same quality as the one we bought 10 years ago for less money. We were just a little disappointed when it arrived.

Good Refrig but Doors/Handles have Leveling Issue!

Good basic side by side stainless steel refrigerator replacing our previous side by side. There is a problem with the doors/handles being level to each other. After it was delivered/installed, we noticed it was not level at all! See attached pic. We had the installer return and adjust the doors so they were more level. However, they are still a tad 'off' and installer said that was the best they could do! See attached pic after adjustment. Seems like this should have been designed so that there is zero room for error. The refrig suits our needs enough that we would put up with it since it's just a tad off, but aesthetically it is a bit annoying. That's why its 4 stars.

The refrigerator and freezer work fine, nice looking. The ice maker makes a clunking when you push lever for ice cubes, it is so loud that i am afraid it will break something. Had a repairman come check it out. He said it was normal. Hard for me to believe that whirlpool would make something like that. We are whirlpool customers for a long time. This refrigerator replaced a whirlpool that is 15 years old. all of our appliances are whirlpool. Disappointed in the operation of the ice maker. Dennis Bair

It's nice to have 36", a lot more s room. I wish they'd utilize ice maker/freezer space better. The glass is scary thin, so are the shelves, they have squeezed it for all its worth like most everything these days, . I hope it lasts.

Recently purchased this product a few weeks ago and am super happy with it. I really like the side by sides so food and other things don’t get buried and forgotten and you end up wasting money. In my honest opinion I think whirlpool is on top of the game and I have never had any issues with a whirlpool product.

Ice Maker Challenge

It's a nice refrigerator, but the Ice maker is a challenge. The space allowed to put a 16oz glass for ice isn't long enough to put a glass under without hitting the water lever. Which creates a situation where you get water and ice cubes. It's very inconvenient, and I have to use a smaller glass to comfortably obtain Ice cubes, then transfer that to a regular size 16oz glass. I've had whirlpool before with ice makers, and this was never a challenge. With this model it is.

My fridge was delivered 3/13/26. So far I have nothing but good things to say. The shelves are spacious and the door shelf for gallon jugs is a game changer for extra space on the fridge shelved. I would have liked some type of printed instructions. Overall I would recommend it.

We bought the refrigerator a month ago and we are ok with it. The fridge runs quiet, provides consistent coldness. The things we don't like are the top of the freezer door, about 1 sq foot, has no shelf bin. The glass shelves in the refrigerator are fixed height, cannot be adjusted. Say if you have a big pot and you cannot put it in between the shelves. We had an old Frigidare and we could move up or down the glass shelves easily. The review link does not work on iphone Safari, ios 26.3.1. I had to open it with Chrome on pc to do this review.

My husband bought this refrigerator on-line, without actually seeing it. It's ok, but the interior seems smaller than the fridge it is replacing. The freezer space is much smaller. I must say the drawers seem very plasic-y; I'm not sure how sturdy they are. I think my main question is about the air filter - what is it? how does it open? on this model do we have to change it? It's a frige ... It's keeping the food cool and frozen. I have a learning curve ahead in order to get used to it.

We have had the fridge for over a week. It runs and works fine. Our complaints are minor. The unit seems somewhat out of square but it still fits the space. The handles don't line up evenly at the top but they work fine. When the ice maker is on the "cube" setting some crushed ice comes out too. Overall, we're happy to have it and it's keeping our food and water cool.

We love this refrigerator! Best feature so far is that you can dispense the water while the door is open which is a huge win. Love the color and they should have made the handles stainless steel as well. Only downside so far is how they protect it, feels like it is impossible to get the plastic in between the creases.

This refrigerator is OK. Don't love the design. The only shelf high enough for tall things like milk or 2 liter bottles of pop is the top shelf, otherwise the bottom door shelf. The refrigerator is very noisy. I don't like how the ice dispenser is placed behind the water dispenser. Often times when I'm getting ice, if I'm using a taller cup/bottle, I hit the water dispenser too, spilling water everywhere. Also, it didn't come with the can caddy as advertised. I've only had this refrigerator about 6 months, so I can't attest to it's longevity. This refrigerator is replacing a Samsung that I loved, but it died after only 3 years. Hopefully this Whirlpool lasts longer.

I bought the refrigerator 2 weeks ago and out of the box the water leaked, it took a whole week for the repair to made and they were well aware of the issue at the appliance store. It would have been good information for them to share when purchasing. The ice maker is very slow, and the giant bin does get filled up as I think it should, but overall nice appliance so far

I thought it was a 26 not a 25. Very good looking refrigerator. Freezer doesn't hold as much as I thought it would. My first experience with this type of ice maker. Since I don't use much ice I may have to shut it off and keep a couple of trays of ice in the freezer just to avoid having too much ice and causing damage. A filter is something I never expected. Good thing I guess. Overall it's big enough for me. I lost my wife a few years ago, so am still new at maintaining a household alone. I am not putting this fridge down, it's really nice.

The actual fridge/freezer are great. However.....the installers bailed before they lowered whatever it to lock the front wheels in place. Your manual is no help with that. In addition, when the fridge door is opened, it swings completely out 180 degrees. Would be nice if it didn't do that. Again, the manual is useless in trying to correct this. If you could give me some tips on how to rectify these listed issues, that would be great.

Almost a five. Features need improvements

Doors open too far. They open more than the advertised 90 degree requirement. Black tray to catch water ice drips always has water spots. What we did to adapt is I hung microfiber cloth on a magnetic hook to wipe tray after every use. Attached sponge pieces on door handles to act as bumpers so the frig doesn’t damage my pantry door. Cheesy plastic drawers should slide open shut easier for the price. What I love is the water filer, quality water, quality ice and choice of cubed or crushed ice and inside frig lighting is perfect. Slow ice maker.

Very satisfied with the look and space within the refrigerator. It is farily quiet when operating. Wish the inner shelves were adjustable however the fixed spacing is good. Wish I could lock the control panel so the temperature levels could not be accidentally changed. If the control panel is locked the water and ice despenser also getting locked.

Solid Refrigerator

Had the refrigerator in place for 2 weeks. Cools well and keeps everything well frozen. Finish is good but you need stainless wipes to keep clean. Couple of improvement items: 1. No shelf to catch dripping water under the ice/water dispenser. Can lead to water marks on the finish 2. Fixed shelve height. Not able to move shelves to different heights 3. To freezer shelf does not extend to the back of the freezer. Small items can fall. 4 could use 1 more basket on the fridge door

Good fridge for price

I’ve had this fridge for 2 weeks. So far I am liking it. I like the configuration - I thought it would bother me that the shelves are not adjustable but I like them how they are. The only thing I really don’t like is the bottom front of the fridge. It looks unfinished, like it’s missing a trim piece. The feet are very unattractive and have odd gaps/open spaces that will collect dust and crumbs and will be very difficult to keep clean.

I bought this refrigerator/freezer this month and so far it is working out well. It is slightly larger than what we had and it is easy to keep things organized. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 star right now is that the ice maker is very slow to make ice. It takes a while to fill up the ice box.

The refrigerator is great. It has a lot of storage and it keeps everthing nice an cold. The freezer freezes things really fast. The only with drawl this far is the ice maker. It has a long harvest time and the ice tray is small. So the ice production is slow.

I love my new appliance, however, I have only two complaints. The ice is very slow to make. So that can be an issue when have a large crowd. And when you open the door, I feel like it swings back unless I'm holding on to it. These are my only issues. Otherwise, it's beautiful, roomy. No fingerprints. I recommend this fridge.

We replaced a very large in size Whirlpool stainless refrigerator with two doors and a freezer bottom drawer. The total cubic feet is almost the same. The new model is side by side and fit the space much better. It works flawlessly and the ice machine is a huge upgrade from the 10 year old model being replaced.

First Impressions of my new side-by-side Whirlpool

I like the clear plastic drawers that allow me to see what is inside. I would have liked an additional shelf for the door and an included egg-holder tray. I had to set the temp to coldest possible to get a temperature under 40 degrees, 37.6 max coldness reached tthree days after installation. Supposedly fridge temps should be between 35 and 40 degrees. The appliance is quiet and has a large interior capacity. The instructions for the ice maker were confusing as they mentioned lowering a non-existent arm before using. Overall, after the first 10 days or so after delivery I'm pleased with the unit.

It is overly sized and fits well in the kitchen. The french door style is very sleek and I love that the freeze is so spacious.

2025 kitchen appliance replacement project.

It's only been a couple of weeks. So far the even distribution of refrigerated and freezing air in their respected compartments has been impressive. The ice maker seems to be working admirably but the water refill solenoid valve is a bit noisy (maybe by design). All in all, completely satisfied. Our only concern is our previous product was going on 30 years old and working fine, never a down time except for the water refill solenoid valve sticking and flooding...once, then put OOS. We're hopeful this Whirlpool product lasts just half as long without repairs.

Good refrigerator, water dispenser needs a redesig

I bought this a few weeks ago as a Christmas present. The appearance outside and function and space inside is sufficient. It is a nice looking functioning refrigerator. My one major complaint, is that the water always drips after getting water from the front of the fridge. The drip tray does not stick out far enough, therefore water droplets always run down the front of the refrigerator instead of landing in the drip tray. That is my one major complaint a new appliance should be a little tighter than that once you stop the water by removing your cup it should not drip a couple drops.

Whirlpool needs to get better!

Very disappointed in the fact that the ice maker barely made any ice. I was lucky that my dealer ABT sent a tech to the house and corrected the situation. There are no stops on the wheels of the fridge. Every time you open a door you move the fridge from its position. The owners guide or manual is kind of a joke. It lists 4 or 5 water filters but does not tell me which one is the correct one for my fridge.

Nice refrigerator! It is spacious and can keep things well organized. I took away one star for the ice and water setup in the door. It is sometimes difficult to get your cup behind the water dispenser to get ice, especially with some of the bigger cups that are so popular. I do appreciate the bigger ice bin in this model as it holds a lot more ice than other models. We also like the extra drawer in the refrigerator for cold cuts, cheese, etc. Overall, it is a nice refrigerator and we are enjoying it.

The refrigerator works well and looks fine, but needs redesign of the water dispenser. The water stream is right at the edge of the front face of the refrigerator. The water dispenser tends to drip 15-30 seconds after the water is dispensed.(This is not a water pressure problem, that’s been checked)This results in a water stream right down the front face of the refrigerator. If not dried immediately, or if a towel is not placed in the dispenser area, there is a water streak down the front of the stainless steel refrigerator.

We bought this refrigerator, and had it installed on December 4th, 2025, to replace our old Roper (Made by Whirlpool) 21 years old because some parts for the Ice delivery system were no longer available. We chose Whirlpool because of the reliability and support available. My wife just loves it. She is always talking about it to friends and coworkers. We moved our old Roper to the Garage and use it for additional storage space I believe you can't buy a more reliable product than a Whirlpool appliance.

Sometimes some ice cubes get stuck in the tube opening from ice machine. After sitting there for a bit, ice melts onto the base of the container opening. Since there is no trough there with a removable cover the water droplets collect on the surface and constantly having to wipe down.

Has more room than older model it replaced

The side by side is an update of my 13 yr old Whirlpool refrigerator and somehow, has more storage. I love the third drawer, and brightly lit interior of the refrigerator. It.has been a long overdue update but a very welcome addition. My old fridge was drawing power at the initial motor start up that pulled the lights of my home down. The new fridge comes on without those heavy power hits, but I have noticed the motor running is more noticeable. Perhaps because my kitchen and living room are in such close proximity, but it's predecessor didn't make this noise. We are getting used to it. The fridge itself keeps everything at perfect temperature on the recommended settings. I am pleased with my purchase.

This model was included with our townhome purchase. This model boasts a nice size fridge and freezer. Plenty of room on both sides. The only thing I don't fancy is the door to the fridge swings back when opened - you have to have a hand on it to ensure it doesn't swing back too far.

We purchased this fridge to replace the standard fridge that came with our new house. We had a similar model at our old house but didn't move it because of its age. We absolutely love it!! The ice and water in the door are the best part although the LED lights and see thru shelves make it easy to organize too. The price was great, and our dealer delivered it, installed the water line, and moved the old one to the garage. Our cat loves watching his reflection in the stainless-steel doors. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

I like this refrigerator. However, the lower produce drawer is very small (my old fridge had 2 large drawers). Also, I would have liked to have one additional door shelf. The icemaker is good, but when it delivers ice (cubes) to your cup, lots of small ice chips spew out onto the floor unless you're very careful. It is very quiet. Overall, a good product.

Bright and roomy

This new refrigerator replaces my old one that I had for 22 years of good service. So I’m expecting a lot of this refrigerator. I like that there is a lot of light on the inside, which makes it easy to find things. The shelves in the doors are clear so it makes it easy to find things there are too. And those shelves are nice and roomy. I don’t have any trouble getting all those bottles of sauces in there. The refrigerator is nice and quiet. The only sounds that are at all loud are the ice dumping into the ice bin and the water filling back up the icemaker. Which is totally fine because it’s not very often. There are three bins in this refrigerator rather than two that I am used to. I haven’t noticed that being a huge improvement or a drawback. But everything’s working fine about that. The light is bright in the freezer section as well. Everything‘s working fine there. Here are the only two small problems that I could find. Rather than chopping the ice for crushed ice, it appears that my ice is mostly pulverized. I would rather there just be small chunks rather than crushed completely down to snow cone like ice. I can Work around that by putting a little water in with the ice that I’m getting and then pouring that water off, which melts the pulverized ice. It’s just an extra step and a little wasteful of the ice. The other thing is that the drip catcher in the ice and water dispenser doesn’t stick out enough, and if you’re not careful, the water might drip down the front of your refrigerator. I have simply taught everyone in my house to hold their glass still until there are no drips. It depends on whether you have a teachable family or not.😀

Overall, the refrigerator is good at a good price. My main complaint is the ice maker takes up a lot of freezer space, more that past models. The refrigerator compartment is roomy and door shelves can accommodate many items, big and small.

I bought my new refrigerator 6 months ago and I enjoy it very much. I heard that Whirlpool is highly rated, so I felt comfortable in my purchase. I also bought Whirlpool washer and dryer. The icemaker stopped working - Whirlpool sent out a technician that was here yesterday 12/2/25 he was excellent! Found out the water valve was not all the way out, so the water pressure was too low. Also the dryer had a minor problem a tech came in a matter of days and checked it out and solved the problem. I am very happy with Whirpool.

Glass shelves and drawers do not glide out smoothly. Ice dispenser makes small cubes. Condensation accumulates inside if you don't monitor temperature control.

I received side by side model WRS325SDHZ14. The shelves are NOT adjustable. It is advertised as having a can caddy which didn’t come with the unit, The interior ice bin is the worse, you have to hold the bin cover up with one hand, hold your glass with another hand, leaving no way to get the cubes out of the bin. The door ice dispenser is too loud to use at night.

Overall, this refrigerator is okay, but there are a few design choices that really limit how satisfied I can be with it. One of the biggest drawbacks is the lighting inside the fridge. It is surprisingly dark, with only two small lights for the entire interior. This makes it difficult to see items clearly, especially toward the back or on lower shelves. For a modern appliance, I expected brighter, more evenly distributed lighting. Another disappointment is the lack of color options. I prefer a clean, elegant white-on-white look, but this model only comes with a black face, even when the rest of the body is white. The contrast feels out of place in my kitchen, and it’s frustrating that a full white option is no longer available. White appliances have a timeless, classic look, and it’s unfortunate that this style has been phased out. On the positive side, the refrigerator functions as expected and keeps food at the right temperature. It’s not a bad appliance — just not as thoughtfully designed as it could be for the price. In summary: It’s an acceptable refrigerator, but the dim lighting is in my view a safety issue, and the limited color choices take away from what could have been a much better experience. If you prefer a bright interior and a fully white exterior, this model may not meet your expectations.

I was replacing a ten year old Whirlpool of similar size and features and as is the case with many things these days, quality isn't the same. This refrigerator has a smaller water filter and no filter change indicator. Whirlpool has also abandoned their tried and true ice maker for another model. It seems to operate as it should, but the interior shelving is of lower quality.

Preferred old Whirlpool

This is my second Whirlpool Refrigerator. I do not like that the ice maker is not in the door anymore. Takes up a full shelf space in the freezer. It is loud. Especially making ice. Will call Whirlpool when I get time regarding refrigerator door opens all the way to where it swings back far & knocks over stuff on the door shelves. Also don't like that they've lowered the meat shelf that was at waist level to on top of 3 bottom bins in the refrigerator.

trouble ice maker switch.

The ice maker switch is hidden in the ice making container, which is vert troublesome to reach, unless you removed the ice container, it's not a good design like the old one which is using a leveler to flip up or down. The rest of futures are not obvious improved.

I am happy with most of this refrigerator. There are 2 glaring issues though. We use our ice maker every day and rely on an ice maker making lots of ice. This ice maker is HORRIBLE! It is slow and makes very small cubes…..not at all like my last whirlpool!!!! The bin itself is awkward and difficult to get into. The other problem is with the refrigerator door that swings open too far if I don’t hold onto it. I am afraid the hinge will bend after a few years of wear! I do like the cooling of the fridge and it is quiet.

It is considerably smaller inside and the shelves are such thin plastic. The fridge side door swings all the way open when you take something out. I'm afraid it will break the hinges on the door

This is suppose to be a comparable replacement for my 23 yr. old Whirlpool Gold refrigerator. #1 ice bin inside top of freezer takes up a whole shelf (old model set inside door making it easy to lift off to fill a cooler, to clean, to observe contents) the on/off button is behind a plastic flap inside bin compartment making it next to impossible to see, very awkward to lift out to fill a cooler or even see contents without a stepladder! #2 Freezer no longer typical wire shelves plus minus a shelf due to ice bin inside. #3 Refrigerator shelves not adjustable and don't pull out (like older model) many items won't fit on shelves. #4 Ice maker sounds like an approaching thunderstorm when ice drops into bin. #5 Water dribbles down front of door after releasing lever, every time. (it overshoots a sponge I placed below lever to catch dribble). #6 a freezer/refrigerator thermometer would be better than pushing cold, colder, coldest button. Temperature fluctuates quickly when doors opened for even a brief moment. I never received the refrigerator can holder advertised for this model. Many reviews show similar remarks, disappointed Whirlpool changed many of the best 'old model' features.

I bought this refrigerator Feb 12, 2026 and the ice maker did not work effectively from installation. Looking at the Owners manual, I have Style #4 ice maker. it requires removing the ice storage bin to turn off the ice maker underneath. Odd location. After several days, we only had about 24 ice cubes in the ice storage bin. This seemed odd and I called Whirlpool. Their response was let it go for a full week, which I did and still just a few ice cubes. I called Whirlpool 2nd time and will wait for a registered repair tech.

Don't use the Ice & Water if you have wood floors

I have all Whirlpool appliances. On this one, you shouldn't even bother connecting your water line to the ice maker and water dispenser if you have wood floors. When you finish dispensing ice to your cup, a few extra cubes may fall into the chute in the door and melt, melt, melt while you're away, filling the black drip tray, then overflowing onto your floor. If it doesn't overflow, you'll get it anyway because you won't see the full tray, and when you open the freezer door, water goes flying all over your floor. It's not funny when someone's standing next to you and you throw water all over their feet. It's a horrible design. I tried pushing up the hatch door to ensure it's closed, but then bump the water dispenser button, and again water on the floor. You're always wiping the drips off the front of the freezer and drying the floor in front of it. It's a horrible design. You have to open the door every time you dispense ice to ensure the door chute is empty.

Bad water/ice dispenser design

The water and ice dispenser on the door are terrible! You can only fit a short glass under the ice dispenser. If you try to put a taller glass it will not fit! If you put a taller glass at an angle, to get ice, you hit the water dispenser and water is everywhere. If you’re very careful it will work. Water almost always splashes you when getting the water, too Also, the light only shows the ice being dispensed. Because of where the water dispenser is located no light is shining on the water coming out of the door. So, the light is unless. You can’t see the water being dispensed at night without a light on in the kitchen. Maybe with a clear glass the light may work better, but we use insulated tumblers almost exclusively and this water dispenser is terrible. I didn’t pick this refrigerator out. It can with my new house.

Ice maker stopped working

Have been having issues with the ice maker since the first year of use, and has completely stopped making ice after 15 months, was able to reboot the ice maker and it worked for another month or so but it’s not working again. Won’t recommend

Quality can be better

Noticeable ice maker sound. Fan runs loud. On the side by side refrigerator the right door only has three removable shelves. It appears to be missing a lower shelf because of a 14 inch gap between permanent lowest shelf and next shelf. Way too much wasted space. Ice maker on off switch is is not easy to attend to- on oft.

Awful Purchase!!

Movers broke inside covers when bringing in the house. Whirlpool says they can’t help replace because I didn’t purchase extended warranty. Very noisy. I do not recommend buying anything from this company. I should’ve listened to the bad reviews. Never again!!

Put into service 1/20/2026, freezer temp is 37deg.F, refrig temp is 43 deg F. Awaiting warranty service on Feb.2,2026. Food spoiled, Not Happy!

Bad Ice Maker

This fridge is garbage

I bought this fridge a year ago, worse refrigerator I have ever owned, the ice machine never works, the fridge defrost sometimes for no reason, the filter are expensive and most the time they leak, I am not impressed, I had to buy this fridge due to my old fridge compressor going out but it was a 12 year old fridge and been moved around a lot. This one is probably going to be in the dump in 2 year most, don't waste your money on this one.

I regret this purchase. The internal shelves are cheaply made. The motor is loud. There isn't a "stop" on the doors so they swing open and bang into the adjacent counter. I engineered a homemade solution to the problem after finding that many other disappointed customers had the same problem. Interestingly, when I called to establish my purchase, the rep tried to frighten me into purchasing a warranty by describing how the product is designed such that it will likely fail in 3-5 years.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, this is the first time i have ever had all new appliances and they have not meet my expectations. There was a dent in the door, (I know that is the fault of Menards not Whirlpool) I did not know there was only a 7 day exchange/return policy and they were in our garage for at least 14 days before we installed them so we had no idea how bad it was or that it was already dented. The refrigerator is very loud, the shelves cant be adjusted on either side and very frustrating. The filtered water is not cold when coming out.

Good price, not a great product!

My 20-year-old KitchenAid died so I needed a new refrigerator quickly. Since I wouldn't have time to shop for what I wanted, I bought what was the best price I could find for something that looked acceptable? What I bought is minimally acceptable but in general I really dislike this refrigerator. Start off with the shelves, they don't move and they don't go all the way to the back so stuff keeps falling over the back. I put in a thermometer and the temperature is different and different areas. Higher lower left right? So there's very little good temperature control in the box itself. The compressor hums creating a very incessant and irritating sound. It keeps my food so I'm satisfied for the moment but t I will be shopping for what I want and selling this thing as soon as possible.

The fridge does Not stay cold with the standard setting of 3 bars.. I had to raise it to 4 bars. I use a fridge thermometer to check temp.

From day one, the refrigerator side froze everything. I googled all the ways to fix the problem and nothing worked. Working with warranty stuff now. What a hassle.

Temp range adjustment isn't adequate.

Does well, EXCEPT.. Refrigerator temperature. 2 bars is upper 30's-lower 40's Too warm. 3 bars is upper 20's-lower 30's...too cold. I can't find any setting that stays in the 30's as a refrigerator should. Took bacon out this morning and it was limp and slimy. There is no in between or adjustment to correct the problem. Who do I call?

Day 1 installed; Day 2 worked; Day 3 not anymore

You asked at a very bad time. Our old frifge had stopped making ice, and despite replacing some parts and checking it over, since it was old we decided to get a new Whirlpool, since that was what we had and it had worked well for over 10 years. The new fridge is attractive (stainless stell) and fit into the spot for it in our kitchen perfectly. By Day 2 it started to make ice... and y Day 3 it stopped making ice. I ran it through the reset cycle and everything worked, except no water came out. We had to leave town and a repairman wil be there later this week. Hopefully, it is something simple that he will repair. So, you see, right now you asked for a review at a very bad time.

Lack of fine details and customer service

While this refrigerator looks great outside, it's lacking the fine details inside. The fridge door opens with no slowing down mechanism - it swings fast and hits the side cabinet every single time unless we manually hold the door. The freezer is short of shelves in my opinion, one more would be perfect. The ice machine broke on the very next day of delivery, and we are still waiting for Whirlpool to repair it. It has bee almost a month now. Luckily it's winter time. Customer service/warranty is definitely not great.

Replacement refrigerator is not as good as the one I had originally bought. Register phone number does not allow for registering new refrigerator. Disconnects. Sorriest company (Whirlpool) that I’ve ever had to deal with. Long time Whirlpool customer & I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance again!!

Not that satisfied

The refrigerator does its job as far as cooling and freezing but we're not happy with the shelf adjustment increments. Our old refrigerator that this one replaced had shelf adjustments on one inch increments which was great. Much to our dismay the shelves on this one have adjustments on about 6 inch increments, thus limiting the customizing of the shelves to our liking. Also, the ice dispenser makes very awkward to fill a drinking glass or container if the container is taller than the distance between the shelf and the ice dispenser. Also, there was very little tubing provided out the back of the refrigerator to connect up to our water supply line for the ice maker and water dispenser.
