Whirlpool - 33 in. Wide 21.7 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator - Monochromatic Stainless Steel WRS312SNHM

This model offers 22 cubic feet of capacity with a flexible side-by-side layout that reviewers consistently praise for accessible storage on both the refrigerator and freezer sides. The shelving is solid and well-designed, with deeper door pockets and bright LED lighting that makes items easy to find. Some owners note the freezer space is smaller than expected if you're upgrading from a larger model, but the overall layout and usable space satisfy most buyers.

Most reviewers report the unit runs quietly or very quietly, with several noting it is much quieter than their previous refrigerator. However, a notable minority report it is noticeably loud or noisier than expected, particularly when the compressor cycles on. A few owners mention the noise level fluctuates or that it runs frequently, so noise tolerance may vary by individual.

Yes, this model is available without an ice maker. Owners who chose the no-ice-maker version report gaining valuable extra freezer space, which is a significant advantage if you don't need built-in ice and water dispensing. Several reviewers specifically sought this configuration to maximize freezer capacity.

The stainless steel finish is not fingerprint-resistant and shows marks easily. Multiple reviewers note that fingerprints are visible and the surface can be scratched by paper towels or non-scratch sponges, requiring frequent cleaning to maintain appearance. If fingerprint resistance is important to you, this may not be the best choice.

Most reviewers report the unit keeps food at proper temperatures and maintains even cooling across both sides. However, a few owners experienced temperature control issues—such as the refrigerator running too cold while the freezer stays too warm, or the freezer failing to keep items solidly frozen—despite adjusting settings. If you encounter temperature problems, contact support, as this is not a widespread complaint.

Most deliveries and installations go smoothly. However, some owners report the unit arrives with protective stickers and tape that require significant time to remove. Additionally, a few reviewers note the unit lacks adjustable leveling feet despite the manual showing them, which can affect stability and door alignment on uneven floors. Check the unit upon arrival and contact support if leveling is needed.

No, this model does not include a dedicated meat or deli drawer. Instead, it has large fruit and vegetable bins. Some reviewers would have preferred a separate deli drawer for storing meat and cheese, so if that feature is important to you, you may want to consider alternatives.

The vegetable bins and door shelves are made of rigid hard plastic that is relatively thin and slightly flexible. While they function well initially, one reviewer expressed concern about potential breakage within the first year or two due to the thin wall thickness. Overall durability feedback is limited, so monitor these components during regular use.
