Frigidaire 36 Inch Gallery 36" Counter Depth Side-By-Side Refrigerator GRSC2352AF

Despite its counter-depth design, owners consistently report that the interior feels surprisingly spacious and roomy. Multiple reviewers note that it accommodates their storage needs as well as or better than standard-depth models, with good organization thanks to adjustable shelves, crisper bins, and ample door storage. The side-by-side layout also makes it easy to find items without things getting buried in the back.

Yes—most owners praise the ice maker for being quiet and efficient. Several reviewers specifically note that any initial noise concerns disappear once the unit reaches proper operating temperature. The ice maker is described as reliable and produces plenty of ice, with the vertical narrow design leaving more freezer space than traditional models.

Installation is straightforward and quick according to multiple owners. Reviewers report that the unit is easy to set up and get running, with simple delivery and old-unit removal. One owner noted initial concerns about ice maker noise that resolved once the refrigerator reached proper operating temperature.

Owners love the sleek, attractive design and black stainless steel finish. The refrigerator is frequently described as having a luxury look with quality internal materials and solid construction. One minor note: a few owners mention the stainless steel doors can show wavy reflections under certain lighting, and handles may show smudges, though smudge-resistant options are available.

Yes, this model includes an external water and ice dispenser. Most owners who use it report it works great and is easy to operate. One owner noted the dispenser stopped working briefly after one month (which resolved), and another wished for a taller dispenser spout. A few owners mentioned the unit does not provide cold water as a separate feature.

The side-by-side layout makes it easy to access and organize frozen items without digging. However, one owner noted the freezer side feels slightly small relative to the refrigerator, and the ice maker takes up considerable space. The sloped freezer bins, while convenient, hold slightly less than traditional flat-sided bins. Overall, most owners find the freezer adequate and appreciate the organization benefits of the side-by-side design.

Most owners report excellent reliability and durability. However, a small number of early failures have been reported: one compressor failure at two weeks, one control board failure at 13 months, and one ice maker that required replacement. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a widespread pattern. Warranty service and repair availability can vary by location and timeframe.

Yes—multiple owners specifically praise how quiet this unit operates. One reviewer noted they appreciate not having to think about the fridge because it runs so quietly, and another mentioned it replaced a much louder competitor model. The quiet operation is a consistent strength highlighted across reviews.
