GE® 23.0 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator In Black Size 69.625 H X 32.75 W X 34.75 D | GSS23GGPBB

This model measures 32.8 inches wide, 69.6 inches tall, and 34 inches deep, making it well-suited for standard kitchen openings. Multiple reviewers confirm it fits perfectly in spaces designed for 33-inch-wide refrigerators with 70-inch height clearance, and owners appreciate the compact footprint without sacrificing the refrigerator capacity.

Reviewers consistently praise the spacious refrigerator side, easy-to-adjust shelving, stainless steel exterior that wipes clean easily, and the convenient water and ice dispenser in the door. Many also highlight that it cools quickly and maintains proper temperature, with several owners noting it appears energy-efficient and represents good value for the features offered.

The freezer side is noticeably smaller than the refrigerator side, which works well for households that don't need extensive frozen storage or have a separate freezer elsewhere. However, several reviewers report the freezer is cramped—with limited shelf space, small door bins, and minimal drawer capacity—making it a potential concern if you rely on this unit as your primary freezer.

Noise levels vary significantly by unit. Some owners report the refrigerator runs very quietly with fast cooling, while others describe a constant high-pitched hum or loud noise that is audible from other rooms and occurs 24/7 during normal operation. This inconsistency suggests potential quality control variation between units.

Some reviewers report that shelves or drawers were not included in the shipment despite being part of the standard configuration, requiring additional purchases. It's recommended to verify the contents upon delivery and check against the packing list to identify any missing components before the return window closes.

Most owners report the ice maker and water dispenser work well and are convenient features. However, a small number of reviewers experienced failures where the water dispenser stopped working within weeks of purchase, and some note the dispenser components are plastic, raising concerns about long-term durability.

While most owners report good performance, a few reviewers experienced significant failures: one unit's defroster sensor broke after a year, another started leaking water days after delivery, and one developed a loud compressor noise within months. These appear to be isolated quality control issues rather than widespread design problems, but they underscore the importance of verifying the unit works properly upon installation.
