We continuously collect owner reviews and public discussions from major retailers and community forums, de-duplicate them, and set aside anything we can’t tie to a verified purchase.

“GREAT fridge as far as cooling/temp control goes. Freezer capacity is on the small side, and fridge could use a deli drawer in addition to the shelving. I’m annoyed by the small volume of water the filter will handle before requiring replacement with a GE brand filter.”
Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.
How does this refrigerator perform in terms of cooling and temperature control?Based on 4 owner mentions
Reviewers consistently praise the cooling performance and temperature stability. Multiple owners report that it keeps food cold reliably and maintains consistent temperatures throughout both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Is this refrigerator quiet during operation?Based on 5 owner mentions
Most reviewers report that this model runs very quietly compared to other brands. Several owners specifically note it is whisper-quiet or much quieter than their previous refrigerators, though a few mention the ice maker or top fan can be noisy at times.
What are the dimensions, and will it fit in a standard kitchen space?Based on 5 owner mentions
This side-by-side model measures 32.8 inches wide, 69.6 inches tall, and 34.8 inches deep with a capacity of 23 cubic feet. Many reviewers specifically chose this model because its narrower width fits well in confined spaces or older kitchens where standard-sized refrigerators would not fit.
How much storage space is available, and is the layout flexible?Based on 5 owner mentions
Reviewers praise the spacious fresh food section and appreciate the adjustable glass shelving, which allows customization for different storage needs. The freezer compartment is notably smaller than the refrigerator side; several owners mention wishing for more freezer capacity or additional shelves, though most find the overall layout works well for families.
Is installation straightforward, and does it come ready to use?Based on 4 owner mentions
Multiple reviewers report that installation is easy and straightforward, with several noting it was a simple plug-and-play process, especially for those replacing an older GE side-by-side model. Professional installation is also available and highly rated by those who used it.
Are there any recurring issues with the water filter or ice maker?Based on 4 owner mentions
Several reviewers report problems with the water filter light staying on even after filter replacement or bypass installation, which prevents water and ice dispensing. A few also mention ice maker issues such as ice flying out of the glass or wanting additional ice maker capacity. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than universal problems.
Does this model include a deli or snack drawer?Based on 5 owner mentions
This model does not include a dedicated deli or snack drawer. Multiple reviewers note missing this feature, which was available in some older GE side-by-side models. Several owners have purchased separate bins or drawers to compensate for this omission.
Are there any challenges with accessing or cleaning the interior?Based on 1 owner mention
One reviewer reported significant difficulty removing and reinstalling drawers without causing dents, and noted the door opening angle made cleaning challenging. This appears to be an isolated complaint, as most other reviewers do not mention cleaning or access issues.
