Whirlpool - 36 in. Wide 28.7 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator With In-Door Ice & Water - Stainless Steel WRSF6536RZ

This side-by-side model offers 28.7 cubic feet of capacity. Reviewers consistently praise the spacious interior, noting it provides significantly more room than their previous refrigerators, with ample space for oversized containers, bulk groceries, and produce. The adjustable shelving and flexible layout make it easy to organize food items.

Multiple reviewers highlight the excellent interior lighting as a standout feature. The LED lighting illuminates the entire refrigerator and freezer compartments, making it easy to see and access food items. Several owners note this is among the best lighting they've experienced in any refrigerator they've owned.

Yes, this model includes leftover storage containers that fit in the door, along with other storage accessories such as cheese and cold cuts sections. Reviewers appreciate these included containers as a practical and useful feature for organizing leftovers and keeping food fresh.

The ice dispenser generally works well and makes quality ice cubes, though some reviewers report the activation pedal is difficult to push or requires significant force. A few owners have experienced initial ice dispenser failures requiring replacement units, though most report good performance once operational. The ice maker does produce noise when filling with water.

Noise levels vary by unit. Several reviewers report the refrigerator runs loudly or produces noticeable noise during cooling cycles and when the ice maker fills with water—some can hear it from other rooms. However, other owners describe it as running quietly or note that any noise is acceptable. The compressor and ice maker appear to be the primary sources of sound.

The water dispenser generally functions well, though one reviewer reported very slow water flow that was resolved by replacing a defective filter. The auto water fill feature is praised by owners. Like the ice dispenser, the water dispenser pedal is recessed and positioned low for wheelchair accessibility, which some taller users find inconvenient.

Most reviewers report the refrigerator keeps food cold and fresh effectively. However, one owner noted temperature fluctuations ranging from 37 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit on the refrigerator side, even after the door was closed for extended periods. This appears to be an isolated issue rather than a widespread pattern.

The fingerprint-resistant stainless steel exterior is praised for staying clean and resisting fingerprints better than previous models. The doors fit well and close easily. The sleek, modern design is noted as attractive and improving kitchen aesthetics. One reviewer mentioned the front bottom edge appeared unfinished on their unit.
