Gathering the reviews
We continuously collect owner reviews and public discussions from major retailers and community forums, de-duplicate them, and set aside anything we can’t tie to a verified purchase.

What owners talk about most
“It's a good basic freezer if you don't have much space. The corner I put it in has limited depth and this was the only brand that would fit there. A recent storm knocked out power for 60hrs and nothing perished. I'da gave it 5 stars if it had an interior light though. It needs a light.”
Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.
Multiple reviewers consistently praise the freezer for being very quiet or whisper quiet during operation. Several owners report they barely notice it running, with one noting you can only tell it's on by the green indicator light. This makes it suitable for kitchens, garages, or other living spaces where noise is a consideration.
Yes, reviewers consistently highlight the compact, space-efficient design as a major strength. The unit measures 24.8 inches wide, 30.5 inches tall, and 21 inches deep, making it ideal for apartments, kitchens with limited space, garages, or as supplemental storage. Multiple owners report it fits perfectly in tight corners and holds more than expected for its footprint.
Reviewers report that the freezer reaches freezing temperature quickly after being plugged in, with some noting items are frozen solid within a day. The temperature control is simple—just one knob to adjust—and owners consistently report stable, reliable temperature maintenance once set.
Setup is straightforward—most reviewers report simply plugging in the unit and turning the temperature knob to the desired setting. The freezer comes with a small shelf and basket for organization. One reviewer noted difficulty locating the power cord access without clear instructions, so review the manual carefully during unboxing.
Yes, multiple reviewers praise the freezer for being light and easy to maneuver into place, making it convenient to reposition if needed. However, one reviewer noted the unit lacks handles, notches, or ridges to grip during setup, so plan accordingly when moving it.
No, this model does not include an interior light. One reviewer specifically noted this as a drawback, wishing the freezer had a light for easier visibility when accessing items. The unit does have a green indicator light on the exterior to show when it's powered on.
No, this is not a frost-free model—it requires manual defrosting on schedule. One reviewer mentioned this as a trade-off, noting that while the freezer is garage-ready and performs well, periodic defrosting maintenance is necessary. Another reviewer reported ice buildup around the seal edges, which is typical for non-frost-free units.
The freezer includes a small shelf and basket to help with organization, but some reviewers found it challenging to organize and locate items due to the chest design. One owner suggested the freezer would benefit from additional organizers or dividers. The included shelf and basket help, but the open layout may require some planning for efficient storage.
