Frigidaire - 16.0 cu. ft. Garage Ready Top Freezer Refrigerator - White FRTE1622AW

Reviewers consistently praise the interior layout and storage capacity. At 16.03 cubic feet, the fridge is well-designed with deep door bins, glass shelves that maximize visibility, and a large vegetable drawer. Multiple owners report fitting substantial items like whole turkey breasts in the freezer alongside other groceries, and note that the compact exterior belies the usable space inside.

Yes. Multiple reviewers specifically note that the unit runs very quietly and smoothly, with several describing it as an ideal choice for those sensitive to appliance noise.

Owners highlight several design strengths: recessed handles that give a sleek appearance, glass shelves instead of wire (which prevent items from tipping and improve visibility), separate temperature controls for the freezer and refrigerator compartments, and a helpful freezer shelf. The vegetable bin is designed so it doesn't collide with the door shelf when opened.

Yes. This model is designed for compact living situations. Reviewers in condos and mobile homes report that the 28-inch width and overall dimensions fit well in constrained spaces, and it works equally well as a garage or overflow refrigerator without taking up excessive room.

One owner who placed thermometers in both compartments confirmed the unit holds exactly the temperature they set. The separate controls for freezer and refrigerator allow independent temperature management.

One reviewer reported that the freezer does not clear air as effectively as their other freezers, noting that trays of vegetables being prepared to freeze can accumulate frost. This appears to be an isolated observation rather than a widespread issue across the reviews.

One reviewer received mystery parts with the manual that were not clearly identified, and customer service was unable to explain their purpose. If you receive unidentified components, contacting support directly may help clarify their intended use.
