Yes, this refrigerator includes both an ice maker and a water dispenser located inside the refrigerator rather than on the exterior door. Many owners appreciate this design because it preserves interior door space and eliminates water drips on the front of the appliance, though a few note the internal dispenser requires the door to stay open while filling pitchers.

Multiple owners who upgraded from side-by-side refrigerators report they prefer this French-door design with the freezer on the bottom. They note easier access to frozen items without being hit by falling food, more usable shelf space in the refrigerator section, and a more luxurious feel when opening both doors. The layout works especially well for families with children.

Most owners report the refrigerator operates quietly and is noticeably quieter than their previous models. A few reviewers note occasional fan noise or mention it seems louder than expected during the first week of use, but this appears to be the exception rather than the rule.

This refrigerator uses approximately 615 kilowatt-hours per year, which is typical for a full-size French-door model of this capacity.

Several reviewers report that ice cubes fall behind or below the freezer drawer when it is opened, requiring bending down to retrieve them. Additionally, some note that the freezer drawer dividers are not adjustable, and the grated drawer design allows items to shift. These are design quirks rather than defects, but worth considering if you use the ice maker frequently.

Most owners report excellent reliability and satisfaction, with some having owned multiple units of this model over many years without issues. However, a small number of reviewers experienced problems within the first few months, including icemaker failures, freezer light failures, and door seal issues. One reviewer reported needing multiple service calls within the first year. The majority experience is positive, but early defects do occur in some units.
