Fridge.com Price Intelligence
Not enough history to chart yet. We have 5 readings since July 2026 — too few to show a shape without guessing at the gaps, so we are not drawing one.
Based on 5 prices we’ve tracked since July 2026. Some retailers only reveal their lowest price in cart — we never guess those; figures use displayed prices only.
The Smad french-door refrigerator is a counter-depth unit with a 22.5 cubic foot capacity and a bottom freezer configuration. It includes LED lighting, frost-free operation, and an ice maker. The exterior is finished in stainless steel.

Brand Background
About SMAD
SMAD occupies a distinctive niche in the refrigeration market, specializing in absorption and compressor refrigerators designed specifically for RVs, cabins, and off-grid living situations. The Fridge.com catalog currently tracks 50 active products from this brand, with chest freezers representing the largest category at 18 units, followed by 14 upright freezers and nine top-freezer refrigerators. This distribution reflects SMAD's focus on practical cold storage solutions rather than luxury kitchen appliances. The brand also offers five french-door models, two outdoor units, a beverage center, and a freezerless refrigerator, demonstrating reasonable variety within its specialized scope. Models like the DSC-300WU-14 chest freezer and the XCD185-6 french-door unit represent the range of options available to consumers seeking alternatives to mainstream residential brands. With an average rating of 4.6 out of 5, SMAD appears to satisfy customers who understand its intended use cases. For shoppers outfitting recreational vehicles, hunting cabins, or properties without reliable grid power, SMAD provides purpose-built solutions that conventional household refrigerator brands typically do not address.
