The LG LF25G8330S is a four-door French door refrigerator with a counter-depth design and a stainless steel finish. It offers 24.5 cubic feet of storage capacity and includes a full-convert drawer that can be adjusted for different storage needs. The unit is Wi-Fi enabled and compatible with smart home systems, allowing for remote monitoring and control.
This refrigerator is designed for kitchens where a counter-depth profile is needed to align with surrounding cabinetry rather than protruding beyond it. The French door configuration requires adequate clearance in front of the unit for both doors to open fully, and the smart features require a Wi-Fi network for connectivity. Buyers should verify that their space can accommodate the unit's dimensions and that necessary electrical and water connections are available where the refrigerator will be installed.

“Nice refrigerator with space saving design good features. Only drawback is water from the dispenser has a terrible taste. LG blames this on supply lines or freezer odors. Problem is their water filter. Replaced the filter with an off brand filter and the water noe tastes fine.”
Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.
How much interior space does this French door refrigerator offer?Based on 4 owner mentions
This model provides 25 cubic feet of capacity. Multiple reviewers note it offers significantly more usable space than their previous side-by-side refrigerators of similar or larger stated capacity, thanks to the French door layout and efficient shelf design.
Is this refrigerator quiet?Based on 3 owner mentions
Yes—reviewers consistently praise the quiet operation. Multiple owners report it is noticeably quieter than their previous refrigerators, with one noting the ice maker is also very quiet and another describing it as 'whisper quiet.'
What should I know about the door width and depth?Based on 1 owner mention
The doors are notably thick and wide. One reviewer specifically cautions that the door thickness eliminates the counter-depth advantage—the unit protrudes further than typical counter-depth models, so measure carefully before purchase to ensure it fits your space.
How is the water quality from the dispenser?Based on 3 owner mentions
Several reviewers report an initial chemical or off taste in the water and ice. Most found the issue resolved or significantly improved by replacing the water filter with an aftermarket filter or by flushing the system thoroughly. One reviewer noted the water filter may be the source of the problem rather than the supply line.
How does the ice maker work and how much ice does it produce?Based on 4 owner mentions
The ice maker is housed in a drawer in the freezer rather than taking up door space, which preserves interior room. Reviewers report it produces adequate ice for typical household use. One owner noted it took 3–4 days to produce the first batch. One reviewer was unaware of a dual ice-maker feature and suggests checking the manual to understand all controls.
What are the lighting and door features like?Based on 3 owner mentions
Reviewers praise the lighting throughout the compartments as excellent. The doors close themselves and feature an open-door chime that alerts you if a door is left ajar—a feature owners with small children or busy households appreciate.
Are there any issues with the freezer drawer or water/ice button?Based on 2 owner mentions
A few reviewers report minor quirks: one found the freezer drawer does not close fully without pushing, and another noted the water/ice/crushed-ice selection button requires abnormal pressure to cycle through options. Additionally, the convertible drawer's corrugated bottom can cause cans to tip if not completely full.

- Best Refrig I've owned so far!
I've had my new LG refrig for over 2 months. First thing I notice is how much more room it has than my prior 26cu ft side by side. Next is that it is whisper quiet. The prior refrig made a LOT of noise when the compressor came on. Last is how quiet the ice maker is, and it…
drgk1Sep 4, 2024 - Nicest Fridge we have owned.
Without a doubt, the nicest refrigerator we’ve owned. This fridge is perfect for our needs. The open door chime is great for those with small children or absent minded adults. The lighting in all the compartments is excellent. The bottom drawer freezer is very roomy. It…
SojcSep 4, 2024 - Excellent design and space, extremely quiet
Love this french style refrigerator, and it has so much more space than my previous side by side, even though they were both 26 cu ft. There isn't a big nice maker that takes up a lot of room, just a drawer that holds the ice made, and so far I have never run out of ice.…
drgk1Aug 5, 2024 - Nice Fridge!
I really like my LG 25 cubic foot French Door Fridge. I has lots of room inside I like the sturdiness of the doors. Simple water and ice dispenser.
p777hAug 4, 2024 - Very nice - just a couple quirks from perfect!
I have had this fridge for a couple weeks and its almost perfect but has some quirks other may want to be aware of. I would buy again as its beautiful and fits my space and needs perfectly. I bought this french door counter depth flex drawer fridge with in door ice as it…
