This KitchenAid french-door refrigerator offers 30.5 cubic feet of storage capacity, providing ample space for fresh and frozen foods. The french-door configuration features two side-by-side doors on top for the refrigerator section, with a freezer drawer below for easy access to frequently used items.
The unit uses 645 kilowatt-hours per year, helping you understand annual energy consumption for household planning. The spacious interior accommodates large platters, wide shelves, and bulk groceries while maintaining organized storage zones.
The french-door design minimizes cold air loss when accessing the refrigerator, as you only open one side at a time. This layout works well for kitchens where you want convenient access to fresh foods at eye level while keeping frozen items within reach below.

“Refrigerator drawers could be better quality and have better slides. When looking to open the drawers, there is some confusion on where to place your hands to open the drawers. The left door closure could be redesigned to close more smoothly.”
Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.
How spacious is the interior, and what storage features does it offer?Based on 5 owner mentions
The refrigerator offers 30.5 cubic feet of capacity with spacious door compartments, large drawers, and a dedicated pizza box holder in the freezer. Reviewers consistently praise the flexible layout and ample room for storing food and beverages.
How well does the ice maker and freezer perform?Based on 2 owner mentions
The ice maker produces ice effectively and reliably. The freezer includes a convenient drawer that provides additional organization and space. Owners report the ice maker does a great job and appreciate the thoughtful freezer design.
What is the temperature control like?Based on 2 owner mentions
Temperature control is a standout feature—reviewers report that the refrigerator maintains consistent, reliable cooling and keeps food properly cold. One owner specifically praised the temperature control as superb.
What is the design and exterior finish like?Based on 3 owner mentions
The refrigerator features a sleek, no-fingerprint stainless steel exterior with LED lighting throughout. The design is modern and attractive, though the interior color is grey. Owners consistently praise the aesthetic appeal and build quality of the doors and exterior finish.
Are there any concerns with the drawers or door closure?Based on 4 owner mentions
Some reviewers note that the plastic drawers are relatively light and flimsy, requiring careful handling to avoid shifting side to side. Additionally, the French doors require a firm push to close fully and do not swing shut on momentum alone—this is a design characteristic of the French door style that a few owners found requires adjustment.
What is the annual energy consumption?Based on 1 owner mention
The refrigerator uses approximately 645 kilowatt-hours per year, which is typical for a full-size French door model of this capacity.
Are there any issues with the control buttons or water dispenser?Based on 1 owner mention
One reviewer reported that control buttons on the door sometimes activate unintentionally when opening and closing, and noted that when the button lock is engaged, the water dispenser does not work. This appears to be an isolated concern rather than a widespread issue.

- Lots of space in the interior.
I like the refrigerator. The plastic drawers are, however, very light and flimsy. You have to be very careful not to push them from side to side while filling them.
Like to cook and sewMar 5, 2026 - Beautiful refrigerator
I know this sounds ridiculous but I’m in love with my new refrigerator. From the spacious door compartments, to the LED lighting to the fabulous no fingerprint stainless steel exterior it has exceeded my expectations. I’m so happy!
Dogwood. Wolf eyesFeb 25, 2026 - Perfect!
Very thoughtful. Has lights. Big drawers. Big bottom freezer - even has a PIZZA BOX HOLDER! No room for improvement.
Mary RussFeb 25, 2026 - Spacious
Took off one star because i dont like how you have to push the doors back together to close instead of allowing momentum swing them shut, but maybe that is part of having a french door style. It could also use a butter dish garage-door-style area on one of the doors. Love how…
TimberlyFeb 16, 2026 - Very Happy
We're very happy with our new refrigerator. The ice maker does a great job, and we like the drawer in the freezer to give us more space. It seems well-made - doors are solid and bins seem sturdy.
