Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.
This model is 30 inches wide, 69 inches tall, and 34 inches deep with 20 cubic feet of total capacity. Multiple owners report being pleasantly surprised by how much usable space it offers despite its compact footprint, making it an excellent choice for kitchens with limited space. The adjustable shelves and flexible layout help maximize storage for both fresh food and freezer items.
Most owners report that this model operates quietly and runs smoothly. However, a few reviewers have noted that the unit can be quite noisy during cooling cycles, so experiences vary. If noise is a critical concern, it may be worth testing the unit in-store or confirming operational sound levels before purchase.
The most frequently cited issues are: (1) flimsy plastic drawers and bins that feel cheap, misalign, or fall off tracks; (2) uneven temperature distribution, with some areas freezing while others don't cool adequately; (3) water dispenser leaks in some units; and (4) door closure problems, particularly with the left door not closing automatically. A small number of units have also failed prematurely or arrived defective. Interior build quality is a consistent concern relative to the price point.
No. Multiple owners report that the stainless steel door shows fingerprints easily and is difficult to keep clean. While one reviewer noted that the textured door handles help prevent fingerprints from showing on the handles themselves, the overall exterior finish is not fingerprint-resistant.
Owners consistently praise the French door design, bottom freezer drawers, adjustable shelves, interior water dispenser, and ice maker. The modern aesthetic and ability to see contents clearly through the doors are also frequently mentioned. Many appreciate that the model fits well in compact kitchen spaces while still offering generous usable storage and convenient features.
Yes, several owners report temperature inconsistencies. Some experience uneven cooling with items on the top shelf staying warmer (around 44°F) while bottom shelves are much colder (33°F or below). Others report that produce drawers freeze even on the highest temperature setting, or that the refrigerator cannot maintain cold enough temperatures overall. These issues suggest potential circulation or thermostat problems in some units.
Multiple owners express disappointment with interior build quality relative to the price and brand reputation. Complaints focus on thin, flimsy plastic drawers and bins, fragile interior materials that crack easily, poor alignment of drawer components, and handles that look cheap. Several reviewers note that the interior quality does not match expectations for a premium-priced appliance, and some compare it unfavorably to older KitchenAid models that lasted much longer.

Been waiting 2 years for this model. I love it. It completes my kitchen now. Dishwasher and range gotten 2 years ago.
This refrigerator fit my spot and I’m loving it..it’s a little small but over all I love it! My last Kitchen Aid lasted 21 years!
My husband and I had an old 16cu too mount and we were constantly running out of freezer space. We also do not have a water hook up, so this fridge was perfect. The freezer has much more space and the fresh food section as well has a lot of room. Initially the shelf situation…
So far so good shelf spacing could be different that is the problem with models from any manufacture
