36" Side By Side 25.3 cu. ft. Refrigerator GSE25GGPWW

Owners consistently praise the bright LED lighting, spacious layout with flexible shelf options, reliable ice maker that produces ice quickly, and good value for the price. Many report being very satisfied with the overall quality and performance, and appreciate the side-by-side design for easy access to both fresh and frozen foods.

No, this model does not include a deli or meat/cheese drawer. Multiple owners note this as a missing feature compared to older GE models they previously owned. Some have purchased additional door bins or drawers separately to address this limitation.

The ice maker is a strong feature—owners report it works well, produces ice quickly, and dispenses both cubed and crushed ice. One reviewer noted it produces ice very quickly. A few owners mentioned occasional minor issues like leaking or a gushing sound during refill, but these appear to be isolated cases.

This side-by-side model measures 36 inches wide, 69.9 inches tall, and 34.8 inches deep. Owners report it fits well in limited kitchen spaces and looks attractive alongside other appliances. Some note it is slightly larger than their previous refrigerator but still fits their kitchen layout.

A few owners report problems with door operation: some note the refrigerator door swings back open automatically with no catch, and one owner reported the door pulls the unit away from the wall when opened due to missing leg supports and unlocking wheels. Another owner reported a sharp door edge that caused injury. These appear to be design or installation issues affecting a minority of units.

Most owners report the refrigerator maintains proper temperature and keeps food fresh. However, a few note specific issues: one owner reported the refrigerator side tends to freeze items stored toward the back wall, another said it keeps food a bit too cold, and one had to return their unit because it would not maintain the correct temperature. Temperature control appears reliable for most but may vary by unit.

Most owners report the refrigerator operates quietly or with no noticeable noise. However, one owner reported it is very noisy with almost constant sound, and another noted the cooling motor sound is occasionally louder than expected after ice production. Overall, quiet operation appears to be the norm, though some units may be noisier.

Some owners who upgraded from older GE refrigerators note that while this model is the same or larger in overall size, it has fewer drawers, narrower door shelves, and less usable storage space than their previous models. Others appreciate the flexible shelf options and easy-to-organize layout. The trade-off appears to be fewer dedicated compartments but more flexible configuration.
