First the good things about the refrigerator. My white unit is a really nice-looking unit both inside and out. LED lighting makes the interior shine. Who cares about a light in the freezer; my garage lighting provides enough ambient light so that every part of the freezer is visible. There is plenty of storage in the refrigerator part for all my water bottles, soda, beer, wine and food leftovers. The fully adjustable shelves are great. The drawers are a bit flimsy, but they are totally functional and are perfect for this garage unit. The manufacturer must still keep making improvements to this model since the common complaint regarding the doors popping open when you close one is no longer valid. The doors close perfectly and don’t pop open when either is closed. That problem is fixed. OK, now the “not so good.” As some others have indicated, the temperature controls don’t seem to do anything. The fridge portion always runs at 29-32 degrees and the freezer at about 0 degrees. Thinking the fridge is running too cold, I lowered the refrigerator compartment temperature control. No matter where I set the control, the food compartment doesn’t seem to change its temperature. At this point I am not too concerned since my water bottles are still staying liquid. Maybe this is what happens when the refrigerator is in a cold environment. It is still winter here and the ambient temperature in the garage is in the low 40’s. Perhaps in the summer, the temps will increase to a more normal range. So I can’t control the temperature, but so far, it doesn’t seem to matter. Next, when the door is reversed, you are left with three sharp screw holes on the top of the fridge where the old bracket was screwed in. Frigidaire should supply a pop in cover or at least some white screws to go in the holes. Lastly, the front wheels are on brackets that permanently protrude from the bottom of the fridge. These brackets are used to support the bottom of the door depending on how it opens. The unused hinge protrudes from the bottom of the fridge and is not esthetically pleasing. There is always one sticking out depending on which side the bottom of the door rests on. The hinge design should be modified so this bracket can be pushed back so it doesn't stick out. See the picture. Overall though, in spite of the refrigerator’s minor shortcomings, we are happy with the fridge and it is a really nice garage ready unit that we would highly recommend.

My new Frigidaire is far superior to the current competition. It has an excellent efficiency rating, a surprisingly large freezer area, separate temperature controls to easily fine tune both fridge and freezer, multiple shelf height options, operates well in cooler houses, has four wheels on the base, veggie drawers both have four wheels, and a large luncheon meat/egg drawer. All the shelves and bins are see through, the cooling vents are strategically placed to allow maximum space for food, and the fridge light can be easily changed out by the owner- NO need for a tech to come and replace an entire lighting unit like my past fridge in this price range. It also has large shelves in the door which are big enough for a gallon of milk, this allows me to quickly and easily access my most used products- plus less time having the fridge open means more savings for me. Very happy with my purchase, thank you Frigidaire for making a great product! :)

My new refrigerator has a large extra drawer for lunch meats and cheese, separate drawers for fruits and vegetables, and large capacity shelves on the door. The Freezer is spacious. Love that it does not have handles but instead grab areas to open doors. Love the sleek design. My former refrigerator was 14 cubic feet so this size works so much better for our family.

MapletonJun 24, 2026We had a "fancy" brand refrigerator that was included when we move into our home. It had constant problems, it is still less than five years old but in that time the handles came off, the vegetable drawers broke, and the freezer bearing fell out. We have never had a problem with our Frigidaire freezer and love our new frig. The shelves in the freezer make things visible and accessible (unlike drawers), the door shelves are awesome!

This fridge is very nice. I would have liked to have a bigger fridge as the space is a bit too small for my items. Overall it’s a nice looking fridge. The freezer is average size. It’s kinda hard to organize my frozen food.

The shelves are somewhat adjustable, so everything fits. I’m happy the top shelf holds a full crockpot liner with lid. The door holds tall items so I can easily see what I have. The clear shelves let me see what I have in the drawers. I miss fully adjustable and half shelves, but this works okay. The blue LED light is what it is, I miss warm light, but it lights the inside fully.
