Great side by side refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

After having a french door refrigerator for 10 years by another company then Frigidaire we decided to go back to a side-by-side. Well there probably is slightly less refrigerator space we love the design. I love the freezer space that I can see everything and it's organized instead of a giant bin in a pull-out drawer. The ice maker on this fridge is amazing it makes tiny little what they call diamond shape ice cubes that fit easily in any drink container. All the controls are on the door of the refrigerator which is the only downside sometimes you hit them while opening and closing the door. My husband did this early on and water squirted all over the floor. Something you can easily get used to.

Stainless side by side refrigerator/freezer

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This is a nice looking appliance with good interior lighting, easy gliding baskets and super icemaker! Water dispenser shoots water freely so be careful not to bump it. Overall I like this product very much!

Totally Awesome

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I am amazed how quiet this fridge is and how good it looks in my kitchen. The water dispenser inside the door is a clever design choice too.

Product worth its weight in gold

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Really enjoy this refrigerator. It fits directly in the spot. It runs very quietly except for the ice is dumped in tray or maybe I'm just not used to it. It's been awhile without an ice maker.

Great new refrigerator!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This side-by-side replaced a hard working 25 year old Sears model that was worn out. The door handles had fallen off and the ice cream was always soft. The new Frigidaire is a dream with its efficiently quiet motor, spacious and bright interior, and handles that actually work! I appreciate the easy maintenance feature which is the touchless surface, and the fact that the ice cream is back to normal. I can fit so much in both the freezer and refrigerator sections. This also is rare in that mine doesn't have water in the door--a feature I didn't want. Just what I was looking for.

Great features

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The icemaker and water in the side of the door are great. The overall layout allows for more capacity then my former Whirlpool Could use better instruction. Accidentally turned off water by pushing button on side of door and it was difficult to figure out what happened.

Navalley · Dec 30, 2025

Love the Frigidaire, only thing that could make a total 5 or more is it is kind of load when cycling.

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Love all the room and storage spaces. Getting used to side door water. Would have given a 5 , but is kind of load when cycling But makes great Size ice cubes well worth noise , Plus two filters that are easy to change and get too well done !!. But I would rather have that then my last fridge(samsung) because in door ice dispenser it was always jamed. And only lasted 4 years for the price these things should last longer. Hopefully reviews are correct and if I keep maintenance up will last one 15 years.

Almost perfect

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This is my favorite refrigerator. I've had the French door and the storage doesn't work for me. This is perfect for my storage needs. It keeps my food fresh. The only thing I wish was different was the ice maker. I live in the country on a well and do not use the icemaker at all. Other than that it's perfect for my needs. I love it and look forward to having it for a long time.

Nice frig with a lot of features for the price

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

There is a lot of useful features for the price. A large capacity ice bin for the ice maker. Filtered water on the side of the frig door. The controls for freezer and frig are on the side of the door with lights so you can easily adjust. Butter, vegetable crisper and meat bins. Easy clean shelves and lots of smart storage space.

Best fridge ever

The fridge is beautiful and has a great design. The shelves are sturdy and easy to take for cleaning. Having the water option in the door took a minute to get used to but I really enjoy it. Love having the fridge and freezer sensors on the door panel. Great place to access and see the levels of your fridge’s interior.

Inside Lighting is Great!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I had a 20 year old side-by-side that finally went to the appliance graveyard. I loved my side-by-side, so I knew I wanted another one. I also looked for one that did not have the water dispenser on the outside. I do not drink my water. I found this Frigidaire that was exactly what I needed. I did a lot of research and this one came out on top. I got the stainless steel and it has finger-proof stainless, which is great. The important item was the lighting inside. I am older and lighting is important to me. This does not disappoint! The inside lighting is wonderful! I also wanted the "deli drawer", which I had on my old one. I've had this for about 2 weeks now and I love it! I am so happy with this purchase so far!

Side by side

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I’m so happy with my purchase. It’s great to have a side by side again. My French door fridge with the drawers never worked for me. Now I can arrange groceries so I can see what I have. The ice maker makes plenty of ice and when it’s full I can turn it off for a day or so to keep the ice from becoming stuck together

I really like my new refigerator, I wanted a side-by-side with no water and ice built on the outside of the door. To me they are messy and unsightly. I have tons os space in the refigerator.

Happy customer

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I bought this fridge when my old French door style needed replacing because I was sick of losing food in the bucket style freezer. I was unsure how we would do with a side by side for space, but made the purchase. I love this fridge! The space is very accessible and well set up. The lighting is excellent, it's quiet and keeps everything at temp with good air circulation o. The deli drawer and butter holder are a huge plus and I am very very happy with the freezer. I can now find my frozen foods without unloading the whole freezer. The kids love the easy for shelves for frozen snacks which i will now continue to purchase since they are actually eating them because they can find them. I love the sliding bins for larger items. The ice machine initially took a while to get up to speed but the ice is fantastic. We actually like the placement of the water and the ability to fill larger containers. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a nice side-by-side. The refrigerator works perfectly and there’s enough room for beverages and daily supplies. I went through two other refrigerators before selecting this Frigidaire. Refrigerator performing great

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The fridge (Frigidair Gallary side by side) is performing well. Maintains cold. 2 minor issues/things to understand: 1. Refrigerator side, top shelf has cold air vent - if leave liquid (water, coke) in front of the vent it will freeze. 2. Temperature control on side of fridge door gets touched, changing temp settings on both fridge and freezer. To easy/accessible to change by accident.

Hard to review such a major appliance in such a short time of purchasing but so far so good. We bought the same dimensions as the last ref/freezer but the storage capacity seems a little smaller. Odd the water dispenser is in the door but I guess when figuring the energy efficiency you took into account the door opening. Lastly it came with no manual but having a hard time finding it online

This is a really nice side-by-side. The design is sleek and neat and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The factory settings are perfect so I really don’t need to do anything. But if I do, they have made everything simple. I’m glad I made this decision and I highly recommend it.

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Overall it's a nice fridge. So far I haven't had any issues with this one cooling- like was discovered with the first one I bought before it left the store- and I'm praying it stays that way! A little smaller inside than I had expected (especially the freezer door bins) but it's been able to hold most of my stuff without any issues. I will say the shelves and drawers are pretty cheaply made and the shelving glass isn't cut quite to the right size so it wobbles a little bit, but that hasn't impacted my ability to use it. I'm pleased with it!

Staceybug04 · Apr 16, 2026

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

It has much space and i love the extra lighting. The only downside for me is the temp change buttons are in a place that I'm constantly touching by accident so i changed the temp by mistake, though I'm learning not to touch that side so much

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We love this fridge! The doors are easily opened, and don’t close hard. The ice maker works well, making perfect sized cubes. The water dispenser is conveniently located on the inside of the door; which is very helpful as we have littles and they don’t have access to play with it! It has multiple setting for temperature. Plenty of shelving room as well as a good amount of door storage also!

Sleek and roomy

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Overall it seems to be a good fridge. More room inside than our last one. Im not a fan of the water dispenser being on the side of the door. It tends to drip water all down the side after filling your cup. Also it would have been nice for the egg shelf to have been deep enough to hold a 18 count carton instead of a dozen. There is room inside to do so.

Great Frig...

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Frigidaire Gallery 26-cu.ft. Side-by-Side GRSN2620AF We went with this model since it did not have the Water/Ice Dispenser on the outside door like all our other Refrigerators did. With the others we experienced frozen water lines, ice not dispensing properly, ice in the ice tray becoming one big chunk of ice, decolorization (water stains) on the dispenser handle and tray, limited cup sizes for water dispensing, not getting a drinking glass up under the dispenser water hose just right and water going everywhere, same with ice side. All of those problems are gone, the ice tray on this is twice the size of the others and it is very easy to scoop our ice with this model, plenty of room to scoop. You still have to turn the ice every once in a while or it possibly will also become one big chunk of ice but for some reason we have not experienced this issue yet after having this Fridge for a year now. Also, the ice cube size has been a perfect size for us...they are smaller and round...again, easy to scoop... We are done with ice makers in doors. Having the water dispenser in the door is great, you can fill large containers this way with no problem. Only thing with having the water dispenser in the Refrigerator (right side) door is the water is not as cold as if it were on the Freezer side door which you did not need to add ice to your drinks there, but this is not a problem, water is cool just not cold. What we do find difficult at times is the water dispenser button can be hard to find when pushing your glass/container up to, often we find ourselves using the the back side of our hand/fingers to trigger it. We know how to do it now and is not a problem for us, just something we have heard family members comment on when using. The LED lighting inside is good, it covers every area. Our only grip is the Temp. settings is on the inside of the Refrigerator Door and since it is a touch panel, it is too easy to accidently change a Temp. by mistake by just opening/closing the door. None of the issues listed above are any problems, just things to get use too. Nothing warrants taking a star off our Five Star rating... Oh yeah, the wife loves the smudge-proof surface. It Works! and Looks Great, no more finger prints so no more wiping down the outside of a Fridge... We Highly Recommend this model, and are very pleased with it...thank you Frigidaire...

New Side by Side Refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Our new refrigerator is deeper than our old 27 year old one. Plus we needed to get used to one more tray. Which now we like. It’s a very nice appliance. We are deciding on upgrading our stove.

Great so far

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This fridge is used in a church kitchen. I like that the ice maker is inside and the water dispenser is hidden. Our last side by side had them both on the outside and we had trouble w/ kids pushing the buttons on the front of the fridge, so this is great.

Frigidaire Basic Model

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

This one is the same price as one I bought 18 years ago and it's better even though it doesn't have all the upgrades! It's effectively designed with maximized space. It's deep too. The only complaint I have is that it arrived with many scratches on one of the drawers a small scratch on the front of the door.

Im in love with my new fridge. There’s plenty of room and I like the design with the doors side by side than with the freezer under the two doors. There’s plenty ice maker is excellent because it makes a lot of ice without the electronic device you have to push to make ice. With the olds fridge that ice maker wouldn’t function and I invested a lot of money to fix it. Thank you so Much

I am loving the ice maker in this fridge. It took a little while for it to really provide ice but after a week I had to turn it off (toggle switch) because we have more than enough now. Great side by side fridge. All that I could ask for. Quite pleased with it.

I really like this refrigerator. It’s very nice looking quiet. I do not like the shelves. When you remove them it sounds like you are breaking them I do not like the design it seems like at some point those clips in the back will break I love how it has three drawers how the freezer is still very big even with the capacity of ice it outputs the water filter is not taking up space like other side by side refrigerators overall it is a great refrigerator

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Nice-looking fridge. Very quiet. Some parts, like the bottom grill, look cheap and don’t fit well. Very difficult to get the plastic off the sides of the doors because they tuck it inside the rubber door seals. Wish it came with extra shelves.

If your refrigerator starts making a random obnoxious noise check to make sure the ice maker switch is in the correct position. Ours is not connected to the water line but the ice maker was in the on position so every time it tried to make ice it would sound the alarm. My nephew looked at it and he had it stopped in less than a minute, yay

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Giving a 5 star review for being new and liking all the features and space. But honestly it is new and only the test of time will be the true indicator of the reputation that this brand and/or appliance will earned. For 44 years I had 2 big ‘W’ band without maintenance ever required. I was a die hearted fan of ‘W’ products but they didn’t have what I was wanting or the size I was needing and Frigidaire side by side is everything I was looking for and somemore. I am very happy with this product so far and love the quality and style/looks it adds to my kitchen area. I am trusting that I will have a stress free long life with my new refrigerator and Frigidaire will win my heart for future purchases of appliances.

TomRaglandPhx · Nov 25, 2025

Solid fridge for the price with some caveats

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

We're only a few weeks in, but we are enjoying the fridge so far and happy with the purchase. It's nice looking and seems to do a good job of keeping things cold, which is, after all, it's primary function. The noise level was higher than expected when we first turned it on, but the fridge was busy getting to temperature so that is to be expected. The sound level has since leveled off. Though if the ice machine is on it is noisier than it is when it's off. But that's normal I think. We do wish there was more space on the lower door shelves. We have lots of condiments we would love to store there, but it's only two bottles deep which forces us to use the bigger fridge shelves to store the rest of the condiments, which isn't great. Maybe we need to cut back on the sauces. But we're going to look into purchasing another shelf for the door. The other downer is something other people have commented on. The control panel on the side of the door is flat out stupid. The placement is such that if the door is open for any length of time, you will accidentally touch it. You'll hear a beep and then you'll have to check to make sure you didn't accidentally adjust something. We've already accidentally turned off the water once and adjusted the temperature in the freezer and fridge at least twice. It's a bad design. They should've put some sort of lock on it that you'd have to hold down to unlock the control panel. Instead, there's a five second delay or something. So, if the door is open for longer than five seconds you could (and eventually will) accidentally push something. I read this warning in other reviews and thought people were being too picky and that we'd be able to avoid the issue, but... nope. It's real. And it's a pain. But, again, it is a solid fridge for the money thus the 4 star rating. But seriously, how did that design flaw make it out of the testing phase?

sidebyside

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

this is the first side by side for me. I usually pick a french style, but am very happy with this one. I particularly enjoy the roominess of both freezer and fridge. I have a small kitchen and couldn't find the same size as my "kenmore Elite french style", so settled on this one. It was a snug fit, but doable. Very happy so far. Love the freezer side and the organization and easy access it allows.

Brest fridge ever

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

My wife and I built a new home about 4 years ago and as part we purchased all new appliances (LG). The fridge never did work well the ice maker hardly worked at all and when it did it would run out forcing me to buy bagged ice most of the time. The fridge finally decided it would stop cooling after only 4 years. My anticipation is that an appliance will last at least 7 years and with any luck as many as 10 years. We are extremely happy with our new fridge.

So far, so good…

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We really like this design compared to our previous Kenmore refrigerator that had a bottom-drawer freezer. This one feels sturdy. The one drawback is that the plastic of the refrigerator/freezer drawers feel a bit flimsy, but I'm hoping the framework is strong enough that over time it won't matter. It seems to chill well so far.

Great Refrigerator

This refrigerator was affordable and exactly what we were looking for. We did think it areas a little noisy when it was getting down to temperature, but once the internal temperature was reached, we didn’t hear it nearly as much. We liked the refrigerator because it didn’t have too many bells and whistles, but it’s still spacious and functional, plus it’s a side by side and not a French door. Great fridge, temperature buttons are easy to hit accidentally

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The fridge works great. Since the water dispenser is in the door, the doors are thicker than other models. That makes the fridge deeper than some other models. Something to keep in mind when sizing this one for your kitchen. Also the temperature controls are on the same door side as the water dispenser. I've already accidentally changed the temperature of the freezer while trying to get water multiple times.

Great replacement for beach community

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We purchased this in October 2025 to fix a problem with our existing freezer compartment that had the pull-out on the bottom. The metal rails would freeze and we would get calls from the vacation rental management company and have to pay for a service call. This side-by-side eliminates this issue. Also love the water dispenser on the edge of the door - less problems with that design. Lastly the ice maker dispenser/bucket is very large and is inside the unit which makes this more reliable. Very large capacity to store food and frozen goods. Very happy with this Frigidaire.

Slow Ice Maker

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The shelf spacing is good (though not adjustable), the doors have a nice hinge system, and it looks great especially with the doors tall enough to cover the top hinges. The ice maker is much slower than our Whirlpool units have been, and does not produce enough ice for our needs. The air filter in the refrigerator side eats into the shelf space and seems kind of a waste. The only other issue I have is that the handles pick up anything that is on your hands even when they aren’t very dirty and do not wipe easily.

This refrigerator is nice and sleek looking. Plenty of space inside and I really like that the water dispenser is located on the door frame instead of the front.

So far…..

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Only giving four stars since I have only had the fridge for a couple of weeks. Love the shelf space, as my old fridge (which died the day before a large party) had shelving that wasted about 2 inches of front space. The lighting in the fridge is bright and in the front position which gives a clear bright view of what’s inside. Hopefully will have many years of service.

So far, so good

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

We received our refrigerator about a week ago and so far it’s working great! We turned the water in the door off as a few of the reviews stated that it’s easy to hit it on accident and make a mess which I did the first time I opened the door. It runs much quieter than our old refrigerator but that one was also 17 years old. I’m hoping we can get that same longevity out of this one.

I love my new refrigerator!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

It makes a lot of ice and the water in the side of the door is an interesting option. I like not having the external dispenser. It has a very strong seal when the doors are closed.

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This side by side is so much better than the French door bottom freezer fridge. There is so much more room and you can actually see what is in the freezer. The water dispenser is on the side of the refrigerator door which I thought was going to be inconvenient but surprisingly it is not. All in all I would definitely recommend this side by side.

Quiet, Spacious, and Stylish—A Frigidaire Winner

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I recently upgraded to a new Frigidaire refrigerator, and it’s been a game-changer in three key areas: quiet operation, sleek design, and generous space. 1. Whisper-Quiet Performance One of the first things I noticed is how quiet this refrigerator runs. Unlike past models that hummed or buzzed noticeably, this one stays peaceful and steady in the background—perfect for an open-plan living area or for keeping the kitchen serene while working or entertaining. 2. Modern, Fingerprint-Resistant Design The finish on this Frigidaire is both sleek and practical. The smudge-resistant stainless steel keeps it looking fresh even with little hands around. Clean lines and built-in organization mean it blends seamlessly with the kitchen. I’ve noticed friends admiring how clean and contemporary it looks every time I show them around. 3. Tons of Room + Smart Organization This fridge truly shines when it comes to space. With adjustable shelves, roomy door bins, and clever elements like flex temp drawers, it handles everything—from large beverage jugs to delicate produce—with ease. The layout makes grabbing snacks or prepping meals a breeze. Bonus Touches: Love the humidity-controlled crispers—they keep fruits and veggies fresh longer. The flex drawer is a standout: I’ve used it for everything from chilling party platters to quick-freezing leftovers.

From the moment we got it, it cooled down quickly. It is so spacious I couldn't believe it. It was definitely worth the splurge and it was even on sale! The side door with water is conveniently placed and gives the fridge a sleek look. The ice maker is small enough to give enough freezer space as well. The sliding drawers in the freezer and multiple levels on the door makes freezer storage easy! Very happy!

Appliance works well. Looks great, a few concerns: if I were not able to unpack (extensive), level, install handles, adjust doors, remove and replace my patio door (my issue) I would be in a pickle. The water dispenser paddle sticks spraying water on the floor until i hit it to shut it off.

We love most everything about our new refrigerator. The storage space is good, and we love the side-by-side design. Our only negative is how noisy the ice making process is. New Frigidaire Refrigerator

ARJJACKIE · Aug 7, 2025

Frigidaire side by side 26 cubic ft 36” standard depth review

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Overall I like this fridge. With the water dispenser being on the door it allows for more freezer space. Still has an ice tray inside the freezer, but saves so much space on freezer door side. Very roomy inside but the shelves are deep so it’s a little effort to reach back and you have to rotate things otherwise they can get lost in the back, it’s hard to see them. I like the 3 pull out shelves in the fridge. One is for deli and the other two are for fruit/veggies. I can fit 9 gallons of water on top fridge shelf, pretty roomy. The cons for me are the fridge door has all the control options to change Temperature for the fridge/freezer. They are very sensitive when you open the door and sometimes beep and are changed by the lightest touch. You should be able to lock them in so they don’t go off so easily by opening the door. There are a lot of shelves on the fridge door but they are very narrow. I could use one more wider one. The top shelf on door that has a cover is very narrow. I used to put my butter, margarine and cream cheese on my old fridge shelf. This one only fits a narrow margarine and lb of butter and is tight to close the lid. Needs to be slightly deeper. @Frigidaire- am I able to purchase an additional wider shelf for the door and if so, would it fit? Also, there are long tabs that run arose the outer edge of the shelves in both the fridge and freezer in the fridge the are blue and padded and in the freezer I think they are silver or stainless. They tend to pop off and don’t stay put. Any advice from @ Frigidaire on these? So far the fingerprint proof finish is good on front body of fridge, but the handles have different finish and get fingerprints all over. Hoping this will last!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

So far I am very happy with my choice, I had read reviews on many before buying and was very lunsure of any including this one but I was in need to get a new one. I chose this one because one of the issues I’ve had previously was with the dispensers in the door. This one I just scoop out the ice. The water dispenser in the side of the fridge door is like reviews say, not a good design, but it can be turned off which I did, and is no longer an issue for me. I love the sleek design and the easy roll out drawers. The price was reasonable for this refrigerator and hopefully I will get some years out of it.

Overall a good refrigerator. However the freezer needs at least 2 more shelves on the door but there is no way to add more as I did in the refrigerator. I added one glass shelf and another to the door. Temperature setting a little difficult. I would prefer a actual degree preference instead of adjusting higher or lower than their recommended settings. Icemaker is very noisy

Frigidaire Gallery

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

We love the new Frigidaire Gallery. It has loads of space and so far working great. The only issue we had was it made a very loud bussing every 6-8 hours (like the horn at the end of a hockey game). Enough to wake you out of a sleep. The owners manual did not have any good information. We had not hooked up the water for the ice maker. The noise was coming from it. I assume it was calling for water to make ice even through it was not hooked up. We had to find information through Google about an on/off switch for the ice maker. Seems like the noise has stopped. I only hope it did not damage the ice maker until we found out what was the issue. Other than that, it's great.

Solid fridge

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The Frigidaire GRSN2620AF is a reliable side-by-side refrigerator that truly delivers on essential functionality. Its design makes accessing both fresh and frozen items straightforward, a real plus for daily convenience. You'll find it offers good capacity throughout, making it a solid choice for families or those needing ample storage. The through-the-door ice and water dispenser is a highly appreciated feature, adding that extra bit of ease to your routine. While side-by-sides typically have narrower compartments that can be a slight hurdle for very wide items, this model is a dependable and functional workhorse, offering excellent value for anyone seeking a straightforward, spacious, and convenient refrigeration solution.

I was thankful to find that I could turn off the water in the door feature since I am concerned that my grandchild will be able to reach it and end up with water all over. The drawers in the refrigerator allow you to adjust the moisture level for what you have in them which will hopefully help my fruits and veggies last longer. So far so good.

Appliance works well, except for water dispenser in door. Water is getting to the ice maker, so filter is not clogged. Nor is it because of a frozen water line in the door. Also the reset button does nothing other than to make a light on the door panel blink and emit a chirp.

Cannot even do it's job

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

I purchased this to replace a 30 year old top freezer refrigerator. I just needed a bigger refrigerator and went with this one. I am sad this refrigerator has been continuously running for 12 hours the only time it shuts off is when you open a door. The worst part is as a refrigerator it should be keeping things at 32-40 degrees, this is important to keep food safe, and it cannot even do this. At the recommended setting it's 34 on the upper shelf on the shelf above the deli drawer it's 42, in the deli drawer it's 44 in the second drawer it's 44 and in the final drawer where we keep insulin it's 46. If I turn it one light cooler then it's 27 on the first shelf and the bottom drawer will be 42. Guess it's a freezer now on the top shelf and maybe a refrigerator on the rest except 42 is not safe. Also, it's much noisier than my old one it's not even close to as quiet and still cannot do it's basic job.

The downside - the air filter that is along the top shelf down the middle. You canNOT have anything on this shelf or it will freeze everything. After several months of moving items to the far outside of the top shelf and keeping nothing on the top shelf or it will freeze, we then this morning found the two cartons of eggs we had on the lower shelf were all frozen solid. We double checked that the temperature was set to recommended - yes it was. Now we have two shelves in this refrigerator we cannot have food set. We've played with the temperature setting for several months trying to find if we can keep food at the approximate ideal temp of 33 to 40 degrees. While the refrigerator can keep this setting - it continues to freeze items along the center wall next to the freezer frozen. I'm greatly disappointed. While I'm thinking this is not strictly a brand name issue - as almost all appliances appear to look the same in design and style, I am disappointed in this refrigerator / freezer side by side.

Regret purchasing

Runs almost constantly. Makes loud noises a lot. Not like other brands of new refrigerators. Have contacted to have a service person come evaluate. Regretting purchasing.

Frigidaire has a horrible product. I bought a refrigerator less than a month ago, and bottom of the piece which cover the electric wires wasn’t even, so I called the service provider which they submitted the pictures and created a ticket order to Frigidaire. Frigidaire denied it, said this is cosmetic issue doesn’t cover by the warranty. Everyone should take a consideration before you buy this product.

Ridiculously Loud

I hope corporate sees this. After just one week this machine began a grinding noise that can be heard upstairs! I called for a service ticket and the FIRST thing they say is, “ It looks like you have a problematic machine, how about an extended service plan?” Unbelievable! They can’t send someone out for 1.5 weeks! So, I called another service provider who said this is a common problem! I need a replacement machine!

Broken Fridge Delivered to Us!! Please correct with another. Cannot trust this will ever work.

Everything freezes…everything on both sides. Three days in and can not get the temp set. Even my eggs froze. Have the temp set to warmest and recommended but it didn’t matter. Nothing blocking air flow. I need a new refrigerator delivered without any hassle to me please. This is very disappointing.

I really wanted to love it

AJ Madison · 2 out of 5 stars

I really wanted to love this refrigerator. The appearance is sleek and clean without the water/ice on the front. I thought I would like the water dispenser on the inside of the door. But the water, while filtered, is warm. Where is the cold water? I drink a ton of water and this is a huge disappointment. I read a lot of reviews about this refrigerator being quiet. I'm stunned at how much louder the Frigidaire refrigerator is than my previous. And why is it making a recurring buzzing noise? It almost sounds like it's an alarm going off randomly in the freezer. I'm getting a replacement in the hopes that the next one is quieter and won't produce the recurring buzzing noise.

Free product design and manufacturing advice.

From an assembly process point of view there was a lack of quality control at least for appearances. First the door seals were not installed the same way, were the supposed to be tucked in to the sheet metal or not? Even if it does not matter to the function of the fridge, it makes the quality look terrible for what would amount to 60 seconds of work. The expanding foam injection points were not cleaned up and plenty of foam was visible. at other points as well. Again a few more seconds of work to make it look presentable. The handles were not cleaned before the protective film was put on, not a big deal, but it seems crumby to get dirty hardware out of the box. The product sticker (with the model and serial numbers) was also very crooked. Granted this doesn't matter, but clearly they must under pay their employees if the employees can't feel the need to put a little effort into placing a sticker correctly. And I don't mean that it need to be supper preces but when the sticker is at a 20° angle it's just sad. Now from a functional design view. The toe grill does not fully snap into place for the model I received, which means the design is not functional with the allowed tolerances. Which means either the part should be held to tighter tolerances (more expensive) or a redesign is needed. A further redesign would be to make the doors even upon shipping. Granted the reason it is currently done this way is so that the doors are stabilized by the lower hinge brackets. Perhaps a it would be better to add more slots so that the brackets can be moved during assembly and still support the door during transit. On a similar vein the size of the nut for the door adjustment was incorrectly label in the included manual, which said the nut was 12mm when it was 7/16". That is not even the same measurement system let alone the wrong size. Does anyone proof read that thing? The leveling feet's did not have enough access for normal tools to easily adjust them. Either a redesign is need or a thin flat wrench should be included with each refrigerator. The biggest issue by far is that one of the components is making a loud annoying noise. Especially because I have had the refrigerator for about a week. I am unable to give customer service a recording of the noise so they could not help troubleshoot it at all. With my admittedly limited knowledge I believe it is one of following three components: the damping motor, water valve, or compressor. I have the ice maker removed and the water dispenser tuned off so if it's the water valve that means it is still trying to work for no reason which is a poor controls design. If its one of the other parts that means either the quality control is so bad that bad parts are getting shipped or the design team decided annoying noises are acceptable for an appliance that is often in ear shot of most people's living spaces, which does not bode well for their critical thinking. In all I am not satisfied with the refrigerator and will be attempting to return it and get one from a different brand that actually cares about their product and the end user.
