LG - 33-in Wide 23.8 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator With Internal Water Dispenser - Stainless Steel LRTLS2403S

Reliability is mixed. Some owners report excellent performance over many years with zero issues, while others have experienced compressor failures, cooling problems, and defrost malfunctions within 1–3 years. Several reviewers noted needing multiple service calls early in ownership. Long-term durability appears inconsistent, so warranty coverage and service availability are important considerations.

Satisfied owners consistently praise the spacious interior layout, efficient use of shelf and door space, quiet operation, attractive appearance, and reliable temperature control. Many appreciate the top-freezer design for avoiding the need to bend down, and several note good energy efficiency. The water dispenser and large produce drawers are also frequently mentioned as convenient features.

Multiple owners report recurring frost buildup and defrost failures, particularly in the freezer compartment. These problems have led to water pooling at the bottom of the freezer, water dripping into the refrigerator section, and the fridge running warm or not cooling properly. Some owners had to call service multiple times for the same issue, and in a few cases the problem persisted even after compressor replacement.

This model measures 33 inches wide, 69 inches tall, and 35.6 inches deep with a total capacity of 23.8 cubic feet. Several owners note that the depth extends noticeably from the wall, so it's important to verify it will fit your space before purchase. The spacious interior is generally praised for accommodating large items like gallon milk jugs and providing ample room for groceries.

No, this refrigerator is not magnetic. The stainless steel exterior will not hold magnets, which disappointed several owners who wanted to display family calendars, photos, or travel magnets. This limitation was not always clear at the time of purchase, so it's worth confirming if magnetic storage is important to you.

Several owners noted that the door is not reversible, limiting placement flexibility. The plastic shelves are prone to cracking under temperature stress and have required replacement for some owners. Some reviewers also mentioned missing features from older models, such as a middle pantry drawer, and that the single refrigerator door with large bottom drawers reduces usable shelf space compared to models with two doors.

This model uses approximately 417 kilowatt-hours per year. Several satisfied owners specifically mentioned appreciating its low energy consumption and efficiency, making it a reasonable choice if energy costs are a concern.

No, this model does not have wheels, making it difficult to move or access the space behind it for cleaning. Multiple owners mentioned this as a limitation, particularly if you need to reposition the unit or perform maintenance.
