“We have been using this chest freezer for 9 years had had absolutely no issues. It is an extremely well-made product. If it ever stops running, I personally will be devastated. Thank you for building such an exceptional chest freezer, most do not run so smoothly after the number of cross-country moves this one has lasted through with my family.”
Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.
How much freezer space does this refrigerator have?Based on 3 owner mentions
This model features a notably large top freezer section. Multiple reviewers specifically praised the generous freezer capacity, with one noting it's larger than expected and another highlighting the extra-large freezer as a standout feature of this particular model.
Is this refrigerator quiet?Based on 7 owner mentions
Most reviewers report quiet or acceptably quiet operation, with several specifically calling it 'ultra quiet' or noting it's quieter than their previous refrigerator. However, some owners report the motor runs loud or that the compressor cycles frequently and noisily, so performance may vary by unit.
Does this model come with an ice maker?Based on 4 owner mentions
Yes, this model includes an ice maker. Reviewers report it works well and produces ice quickly—one owner noted water froze within 2 hours of plugging in. However, note that some models in the GE line do not include an ice maker, so verify your specific configuration.
What are the dimensions, and will it fit in a small space?Based on 4 owner mentions
This refrigerator measures 29.8 inches wide, 66.4 inches tall, and 34.5 inches deep. Multiple reviewers confirm it fits well in small apartments and tight spaces, making it a good choice for compact kitchens or studio living situations.
How well does it keep food cold?Based on 5 owner mentions
Most owners report excellent cooling performance, with several noting the refrigerator gets 'really really cold' and maintains proper temperatures. A few reviewers mention needing to run it on the maximum setting or experiencing inconsistent cooling, so temperature control may depend on proper setup and door sealing.
What is the shelf configuration, and how much storage do they provide?Based on 5 owner mentions
The refrigerator features wire shelves and deep, plentiful door pockets. Reviewers praise the spacious interior and flexible storage for various items including gallon containers. However, some note that shelf spacing may not accommodate all standard grocery items (like large gallon jugs) without removing adjacent shelves, and a few prefer glass shelves over wire.
Is this a good value for the price?Based on 5 owner mentions
Yes—multiple reviewers describe it as a great value, good for the price, and an excellent basic refrigerator that delivers solid performance without unnecessary frills. Owners appreciate the combination of reliable cooling, spacious freezer, attractive black finish, and affordable cost.
Does this model have a water filter for the ice maker?Based on 1 owner mention
This model does not appear to include a built-in water filtration system. One reviewer noted the ice maker works well but the water tastes bad without a filter, suggesting you may need to add an aftermarket filter or use filtered water if water quality is a concern.

A lot of storage for a 19.2cc. ft. Really like the large top freezer, plenty of space for frozen items. Also plenty of shelf storage in the door, even for 2 litre or gallon containers. Very satisfid with purchas.

Serves its purpose. No frills refrigerator. The only concern I have is that it is noisy.
