The Frigidaire FRFC2323AS is a french-door refrigerator with a 22.6 cubic foot capacity. It features a stainless steel finish and includes a through-the-door water dispenser and external ice dispenser. This full-size refrigerator is 36 inches wide and provides storage space typical of family-sized appliances.
This refrigerator is designed for households that need substantial food storage and prefer the convenience of external water and ice access. The 36-inch width fits standard kitchen openings in most homes, though the french-door configuration requires clearance space in front for both doors to swing open. The through-the-door dispenser will require a water line connection during installation. Verify your kitchen's specific measurements and water line accessibility before purchase.

Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.
How spacious is the interior, and does it have flexible storage options?Based on 9 owner mentions
Reviewers consistently praise the interior space and flexible layout. The refrigerator offers ample room with adjustable shelves, large door bins, and a roomy bottom freezer drawer that make it easy to organize and access items. Multiple owners note that despite the compact footprint, the usable interior space exceeds expectations compared to larger models.
Is this refrigerator quiet during operation?Based on 5 owner mentions
Most reviewers report the unit operates quietly. Several owners specifically mention appreciating the quiet performance compared to previous models. However, a small number of owners note occasional noise—including one report of a loud ice maker fan buzz and a few mentions of noisy freezer drawer operation or door squeaks—so experiences vary slightly.
How quickly does the ice maker produce ice, and does it work reliably?Based on 4 owner mentions
Most owners report the ice maker works well and produces ice quickly—many note having plenty of ice within 24 hours of setup. However, a few reviewers have experienced issues where the ice release arm freezes into the ice tray, requiring the unit to be unplugged and thawed to restore function. This appears to be an occasional defect rather than a universal problem.
Does this model fit in tight kitchen spaces, and what are the dimensions?Based on 3 owner mentions
This is a counter-depth French-door refrigerator measuring 36 inches wide, 70 inches tall, and 30.8 inches deep, with a capacity of 22.6 cubic feet. Reviewers specifically note it fits well in built-in refrigerator nooks and tight spaces where standard-depth models would not fit, while still providing surprisingly spacious interior storage.
How does the temperature control perform, and does it keep food fresh without freezing produce?Based on 3 owner mentions
Reviewers report consistent and reliable temperature control that keeps food fresh without freezing produce or overworking the compressor. The unit cools down quickly after installation and maintains stable temperatures in both the refrigerator and freezer sections.
What is the appearance and finish like, and does stainless steel show fingerprints?Based on 2 owner mentions
Owners praise the sleek, attractive stainless steel exterior and modern French-door design. One reviewer noted stainless steel shows more fingerprints than anticipated, though another owner reported not noticing fingerprint issues. The overall aesthetic appeal is consistently highlighted as a strength.
Are there any common issues or defects to be aware of?Based on 4 owner mentions
Most units perform without issues, but a few recurring concerns appear in reviews: occasional ice maker freezing problems, rare reports of noisy operation, one report of a broken drawer on arrival, and a single report of a loud ice maker fan buzz. Warranty coverage is available for defects, and most issues appear to be isolated rather than widespread design flaws.
How easy is the ice and water dispenser to use?Based on 3 owner mentions
Reviewers appreciate the convenient exterior ice and water dispenser, with one owner noting the tall dispenser height accommodates large bottles like a Yeti. One reviewer mentioned the ice maker controls could use clearer instructions, as the feature defaulted to 'off' and required research to activate.

Ruby 50Jun 22, 2026 Refrigerator works well, plenty of room for all my needs. Very quiet! However, the workmanship is lacking. One of the drawers is broken from day one, waiting to have it repaired!
Miu820May 12, 2026- Beautiful fridge
It’s exactly what I wanted. Double door fridge and freezer drawer with ice and water dispenser. Easy to set up and cooled down pretty quick.
Honeybabe7712Mar 10, 2026 Finally found the style that I like and a fit that is perfect. I’ve different styles but this one is it for me. I love the crisp drawers for my vegetables and the deli drawer. All seem to be a bonus I don’t expect. The biggest surprise was the filtered water fixture. I bought…
Kelli JoJul 12, 2025- Good fridg except:
I never owned a bottom freezer before, so it’s taking some getting used to. The storage in the freezer is almond non-existent. I could have gone with the standard size (mine is the counter depth model) and gotten more freezer space. Also, I don’t like having to open both…
