We just had our new GE side by side installed. We had so much trouble with the french door refrigerator we had before we went back to a side by side. So far we love it.

We are in love with our new GE refrigerator! It has all the space and storage we need without the wasted space! The ice machine is even in the freezer and not on the door which caused issues with our last one! It is quiet and cold! Love it!

So exactly what I needed! Not just wanted, but needed! The space I had to work with was limited and this counter-depth side-by-side fits perfectly. The space inside the fridge and freezer are perfect for my needs - knowing how much space you need is key when making appliance decisions. It has to fulfill your needs and function in your space. Having on demand ice and filtered water is priceless to me. This fridge/freezer side-by-side provides everything I was looking for while fitting in my space. So happy with this purchase.

My old refrigerator was 20 y/o and had some issues. My new GE is smaller and counter depth and It looks better in my kitchen. The clear shelf configuration is more convenient and the door controls are easier to use.

I had a very similar refrigerator from GE for 20 years. It had one feature that I don't find on this new model-- a deli drawer. I used that frequently and will miss it. Otherwise the new water/ice feature, led lights, and sleek look are an improvement. It is not energy efficient, but it fits my space and the water feature with ice and filter are excellent.

This GE refrigerator was just installed today so there has been no time for problems to arise. That being said, I’m thrilled! This is a replacement for a GE frig we have had for thirty years which needed a repair for the condenser about ten years ago but otherwise gave great service. It’s still working but beginning to run for long periods of time and has begun to make some noises. So, we shopped around to replace it before it finally stopped and we would have to scramble. The new one fits perfectly, has a black high gloss finish which looks beautiful and purrs like a kitten when starting up. It is a side by side and has essentially the same interior organization of drawers and shelves as the old one which we loved. We have essentially the same storage (about 22 cubic feet) as the old one and all this at competitive pricing. Oh, yeah, there is an improved water and ice dispenser as well as a built-in water filter which the older unit did not have. GE has done it again!

Pretty happy with our new fridge. We used to have a French Door style, but I’m liking this side by side, seems roomy enough for us. So happy that we could get one in White! Top shelf on the fridge door is a cheese compartment with a pivoting clear plastic door to cover it…ours was delivered a little too narrow to stay in it’s little molded posts, so it kept falling off every time we closed the fridge door! We have removed this little compartment door to avoid this aggravation.

LOVE THIS Refrigerator sooo much! First of all “it is a counter dept” which means it fits perfectly inside of my kitchen cabinet built-in space for a refrigerator …”It looks amazing!”.,,,No Big oversized bulky Bottom drawer refrigerators (Counter Depths can be hard to find..nice ones) that make entering my galley kitchen awkward….the French side by side doors are beautiful and provide about the same space for more than enough freezer and regular foods. Several side compartments…”the same as the bottom drawers. The dispensers are sooo kool “crushed, cubed and water”…”you do not even have to hold the glass for water….LOVE IT! And it is a GE “WOW!!!! Plus’ the price FITS any budget..highly recommend!!! A Winner!

Only complaint (which others here have said as well) It is dark inside the fridge. The lighting could be so much better. The lack of a deli cheese/lunchmeat section is a big deal. I do like that it is counter depth. My old one stuck out 8" beyond the cabinets so this is better - much smaller, but better for the space.

The appearance and function of the refrigerator and freezer are good. Water (through the door) appears to be working as is the ice maker. The lighting in both compartments is poor when loaded with food, Each compartment has one light in the ceiling to light the entire space. The lower racks / trays are almost dark. The control panel on the unit is NOT like the information sheet that explains how it operates. The downloadable manual is vague in places. Statements followed by 'your unit may not have this feature' are prevalent throughout the manual. The manual states there is lighting on the ceiling and the sides of each compartment. Ours does not have the side lighting.

Lacking storage

My previous refrigerator was a Samsung. It was the same cubic feet and size as the GE. My Samsung had three drawers on the refrigerator side plus four shelves and a rack for bottles. The GE would be better if it had more rails where I could have added an additional shelf, but it doesn't. The bottom and top shelf are way too spacious (i.e. height) to accommodate most of the items I put in there. It really needs more rails to add another shelf above the drawers. The door also had a rack for canned drinks. The freezer side also had two drawers. I really liked the Samsung better than this GE refrigerator. I feel the Samsung actually accommodated better storage than this GE.

A No Frills Refrigerator

This is a 21.9 cubic foot refrigerator, however, its shallow depth makes it not feel quite that size. The shelves and door boxes were well built; Door boxes are double walled. Water filter is easily accessible as are temperature monitoring for freezer and the refrigerator side. Ice maker works well as does filtered water and ice door delivery. I found I had to buy an extra box for the door items in the refrigerator and also clear bins for the freezer shelves as space is pretty shallow and it is difficult to stack items on shelves without them fall out when doing a search for food items. The lighting particularly in the refrigerator seems dim despite it being LED, - I think it needs another bulb. My biggest concern is reliability, and I have no way to judge that at this early point. I would say I think GE tried to be responsible in providing a good refrigerator.

So far, I found only one issue that is annoying. On a perfectly flat floor, with the front wheels retracted completely, the refrigerator leans too far back. I had to shim the rear wheels to solve the problem. Also, it would be nice to have a front door shelf designed to hold eggs.

This product has the right number of adjustable shelves that enable us to configure the appliance to fit our needs, with 2 shelves for tall items and enough space for the other two shelves for our average sized items. 2 crisper drawers are great for deli items and produce. The freezer is also configurable to for our needs. The appliance is so quiet you think it’s not running. The ices maker/dispenser and water dispenser are very quiet. People sitting in the adjacent family room are not distracted from the ball game when you go get ice and a drink.

I absolutely love this refrigerator. Side by sides are my favorite. No digging around for things in the drawer. The capacity is perfect for my diet of mostly fresh produce, a few meats, eggs, butter, 1/2 and 1/2, juices and condiments. I love the shelves and am happy I went back to a side by side. The storage of favorite meals in the freezer - ability to neatly organize everything and grab my ice cream from the top shelf! A ++++++

Is a very good appliance. We are enjoying this refrigerator for the size, smaller than the previous ones but our family size has decreased and this is PERFECT.Everything as far as cooling, energy saving and shelving is good. The ice maker does not make that loud noise like other brands when making the ice. So thrilled we went with GE!!

Very difficult to find Counter Depth, French Door and White color these days. Replacing a Samsung as it looked really nice but stop working. The GE is good and works well. The interior is a little awkward but we can work with it. The water dispenser does not drip, but you need to make sure you cup you cup under it for a second to get the last drop. The biggest complaint is the fit and finish: Water and ice compartment on door has gaps and looks cheap. The tops of the doors have sharp edges (be careful when cleaning). We are hoping for many good years from GE and maybe switching out other Samsung Appliances with GE too.

So far doing well. It could have better lighting on the refrigerator side. The only light is in the top and lower shelves are harder to see. Had a limited space to install refrigerator so the price was much higher than a larger refrigerator would have been due to lower production numbers of the smaller ones and also for the color black We would have liked to get a GE Profile but not available in that size. Our old Profile lasted 26 years.

Not Enough Light

It's white, fits right, but has bad light. The light in top hangs down too far and lights up slowly when you open the door. Why would you want a refrigerator light to turn on slowly? No light in the bottom either. Had to put light strip in the bottom. The refrigerator is fairly quiet and the filter does a good job,but it's in the way, being in the food storage area. The filter is a XWFE, and it appears it isn't sold by anyone but GE. If you don't need a counter depth refrigerator I would suggest looking at the GE 21.8, it has better lighting and a better price.

I just received my new GE Counter Depth Refrigerator and I couldn't be happier! It is so well designed and the quality is exceptional. It is very similar to the Jenn-Air we are replacing (after 28 years!) and I must say the GE looks as high-end and expensive as the Jenn-Air. It was COLD within a few minutes, very quiet and such a sleek design with hidden hinges it looks great in my kitchen. Thank you GE!

It's a nice bright refrigerator. For camper use it would be nice to have an on and off switch. Ice cubes are smaller than ice tray cubes but works great! It has a night light for night use. Freezes very quickly and you can turn it down to -6 to make Popsicles faster.

This was a replacement for an older refrigerator of the same brand, size, and style. This model is sleeker and more energy efficient. The shelves on the refrigerator side could have more options for adjusting up or down, and an additional drawer would be nice.

The Product is exactly what we were looking for. Although we were not able to look at the product at the Store but had to review the product via the computer on the store. It had the SIDE by Side Feature, the Water Dispenser and Ice Maker both pluses in our book. It was sleek and had a great finish in Black. The Appliance was easy to unpack. It was easy to remove the packing material and install the additional covers to the shelves.

I love my new fridge! It somehow feels like a real fridge. The seal on the doors is so good. The drawers and spacious. The shelves make keeping things visible and organized easy. I love how the counter depth gives my tiny kitchen a bit more room. The ice maker does leave a tiny bit of ice on the inside of the freezer door. But overall, it's a great fridge!

The lighting is to dim inside the refrigerator and freezer. Can’t see to well on the bottom shelf’s. You have a very had time finding things in drawers because of poor lighting. Also the over head light hangs down to far and is hard to put things around it.

I'm very happy with this very quiet GE refrigerator! After purchasing a different brand refrigerator, I quickly realized how important the operating noise level was in my homes open room layout. For this reason I exchanged it for this GE model which was reviewed to be much quieter and it truly is. The one negative I have is the oversized LED light lens which unnecessarily takes up top shelf refrigerator space.

The easy of the pull out drawers and opening of the side by side outer door. The door alarm is awesome and nice to let you know it they are open and needs to be shut. All of this works for me. Fits our limited space

This was a replacement for same model purchased in 2013. The selection is limited when refrigerator must be counterdepth and also fit into narrow space. The capacity is only slightly smaller. The one drawback is that the drawer we used to store cheese and dairy has been totally omitted. It must now be stored on the door. We very much like the very reputable company we purchased it from, Sterling Appliance in Sterling, VA.

So far, the refrigerator has met my expectations. I like the door alarm and temperature monitoring feature. The ice maker works well but tends to scatter ice all over my floor. This is the reason I can only give 4 stars. My main reason for purchasing is the slate color, which no other brand offers to my knowledge. The matte color hides fingerprints and dirt well.

Doors open flush

Very nice refrigerator. You do gve up some interior space with a counter depth / side-by-side refrigerator, but ours is in a tight space in a galley kitchen, so we needed the counter depth model. That tight fit demanded that the doors open fully, and the doors on this model open flush with the sides of the refrgerator, so you do not need to allow a 2 inch gap on either side of the refrigerator for the doors to open fully. We're very pleased!

I found at first that every time I opened the door I said "I love you" because for the past 7 years owning a different brand of this type refrigerator I no longer had to fight with a broken ice maker, paying to have it repaired, etc. and it was very noisy (so much so that it scared our new puppy at night when it would growl and screech). The old one worked fine otherwise but I had enough and it now lives in the garage. This one is 1.3 cu ft larger but seems much more than that because it is laid out for maximum storage. I am sooo glad I purchased this brand and model.

Good Refrigerator but Ice Maker Has Issues

Overall this is a good refrigerator. The Ice Maker has an issue when it fills up, it does not always shutoff allowing for ice to overflow the back of the Ice Tray. When new ice is made, the overflow ice is melted by the heating coil the ice making unit. When his happens, the melted ice runs down the inside back of the freezer where it either refreezes or accumulates at the bottom of the freezer.

We had used a similar side by side GE refrigerator for over 20 years. I hope this one last a long time as well. What I miss most is not enough baskets(?) in the freezer. There is only one at the bottom and all others are just shelves. The previous one came with many baskets, we do not have to worry about food items falling.

This refrigerator replaced my Cafe which had more amenities on the inside. I had to purchase refrigerator containers to make up for that to which I was accustomed. A new Cafe wasn’t available at the time my old one decided to stop. The good thing was that I could use the Cafe handles to match my range. For that I am grateful. The stainless finish on my new refrigerator shows fingerprints unlike my Cafe which didn’t.

You cannot level the counter depth refrigerator without using shims; back wheels cannot be adjusted. Techs checked the floor, it was level. It’s a shame that it doesn’t let you adjust back wheels to align with our cabinets.

The refrigerator is too small. It has only 2 drawers and the bottom drawer is only a half size. The outer sides of the shelves are too wide so lost space and the light hangs down too low so more lost space. I've had side by side refrigerators before and they were always much bigger and more useable space.

This is a nice refrigerator that gets the job done. There are a couple issues that could use improvement. The actual face of the stainless steel door has rust spots and the doors, specifically the freezer, does not close properly without extra effort.

This is an OK refrigerator. The freezer side is greatly reduced by the water & ice makers. Only a small pizza box will fit. On the refrigerator side, the door bins cant hold a lot or they will fall off, taking tneir contents with them. I do appreciate that it runs fairly quiet. Glass shelves are easy to clean. Watch out what you put against the back wall. It froze my green onions. All in all its an ok appliance.

I wanted the exact unit I was leaving behind. Alas, it's only available in Stainless Steel. I had already had this unit installed when I realized there were fewer drawers in both the frig and the freezer. Lighting was wonderful in the old unit, not so with this one.

After owning one of these for a few weeks I can tell you that the frig is decent. The door shelving layout could be better. The water dispenser isn’t cold unless you run it for a minute and then it isn’t much better. . I bought the extended warranty.

The oversized ice maker restricts what feels like 1/4 and 1/3 of the freezer space. There is loss of shelving in the door for the dispenser. Cant recommend for a family that preps and freezes and/or buys a lot of frozen items

The unit is one of a few built for the dimensions we needed and still available in white. However, while the exterior dimensions are virtually the same, the interior space lacks similar organization when compared to our former unit's functionality. The fan is also louder than it should be.

This fridge does the job but not as well as I had hoped. Its very basic and the interior design doesn't not translate well in to everyday use. There is no much wasted space int he freezer section and really does not allow for a lot of storage. The main section is fine, but the basic model didn't not come with a meat and cheese drawer. Like I said, it gets the job done but is not ideal for everyday use from a family of 3 perspective.

Bad interior lighting

I just received my new refrigerator on Thursday 9/26 replacing my 22 year old GE one, the lighting in the refrigerator is extremely poor my old incandescent bulb was brighter. The light at the top is the only light for the top shelf it's like looking into a dark cave no happy "frige" raiding for a midnight snack. I thought my eyesight was going bad. I would rather have good lighting and plastic shelves. I will be receiving the rest of the GE appliances in a week. I can only hope for no more disappointments.

I just received this refrigerator on 9/24 Unfortunately the lighting in the refrigerator is extremely poor. There is some light for the top shelf Cannot see beyond that point. Very dark on the other shelves and drawers There is no Deli drawer which definitely limits best use of space The freezer space is very limited. The GE quality is no longer what was offered in the past and the price is high given the quality. I realize that this is not the GE profile I have had for several years however I expected more from GE

In terms of its functionality (i.e., keeping food cold/frozen) and providing adequate space inside to meet our needs, the refrigerator works well for us. THE PROBLEM we have is that the compressor motor is extremely LOUD and runs often during the day. We have nicknamed the refrigerator "Jaws" because the noise it makes is similar to the music that plays whenever the Great White Shark appears in the movie. This noise can be heard on the floors of our home above and below the first floor where the kitchen is. Fortunately, we've had no visitors to our home since it was installed in July, saving us the embarrassment. Please note that there are only 2 adults of retirement age living here, so there isn't a lot of activity opening the refrigerator each day. If we could add a video with sound to this review, we would, so you fully understand our frustration.

So far ok with the operation of the refrigerator. Do not like the ice maker set up. Would prefer the on off switch was placed somewhere else. Light in refrigerator is huge! Takes up to much room. Refrigerator functions well and has a great reputation for reliability. It does not use the space well. It could use at least one more shelf in both the freezer and cold storage area, another shelf in the cold storage door, and it could use a deli drawer. Due to the curved front on the shelves, we could not install after-market pull-out drawers. We are putting in shelf organizer racks. The shelf inserts in the freezer door might hold boxes, but they are too short to hold flexible bags. We replaced an LG because we believe that the GE will handle basic temperature control better, but the LG had better user functionality.

Needs more storage!

This replaced a GE side-by-side refrigerator that served us well for 18 years. Yes, 18!!! Basically, this is the same size and I am comparing this model to what we had. Good news: the handles are much less likely to show finger marks. However on the refrigerator side, it could use another low height drawer. The shelves are far enough apart to accommodate one. I have added my own plastic storage bin. There is not an in-door can holder feature. Missing that! On the freezer side, again there is room for another shelf! I have resorted to stacking food in tall piles...as well as adding a plastic storage bin. Bottom line: the space is there for more storage but GE chose not to use it.

Generally, a very good fridge/freezer. The handles are a little too close together so it can be hard to fit a hand at certain angles. Ice maker is pretty noisy but works well. Ice dispenser sometimes spits out too much ice. Otherwise, it works well.

However, 1 1/2 weeks after it was installed I had to have the fridge door adjusted and now it makes grinding noice when I open and shut it. Any suggestions? I also do it like that the deli compartment is on the bottom. During the day it makes loud annoying sounds??

My previous fridge was having a few problems so my choices were fix or replace. Opted for the new purchase. I could only find two choices from GE due to the size limitations I had. The Pros: There is ample space. It is quiet. Shelves are adjustable. Cons: There is only one light in the refrigerator portion (this is a side by side). The bottom shelves are harder to see product. The plastic shelving for both sides of unit were a really tight fit. Needed muscle to insert. Bottom line: it suits my needs!

We needed a counter-depth fridge with height restrictions and this one fit. We had seen it in-store and knew we didn't love the interior layout, but there weren't too many options for us. Unfortunately, the freezer space is not very usuable. The ice maker does work well.

There is only one light. It is at the top and so I can't see the bottom couple shelves are dark. Needs more lights. The other problem I'm having is the doors. The have a stopper or something in the hinge that prevents the for from shutting on its own or with a small push. You have to shove it closed.

Very disappointed. The side compartments for both freezer and refrigerator are both so narrow that together they cancel out the usefulness of each. Honestly, the compartments are just not big enough to hold a few things. And! I'm just one person. This would be a horrible waste of money for anyone who really uses their refrigerator. Inside the railings do not hold more than a few condiments, there is no place to put bottles of beer other than on valuable shelf space. Lightening is terrible (only at the top). Really a piece of poorly designed industrial waste headed for the landfill. I regret my decision to buy this. I expected more from GE. Don't their designers and product teams even try to test-drive these things. Urghh

The lighting on the refrigerator side isn’t very bright. If any objects are on the top shelf, they block the light below. The placement of the refrigerator in my kitchen exposes the bottom left side of the refrigerator. Spray foam insulation injected at the time of construction has pushed the bottom pan, exposing the insulation. Visibly white.

Just purchased. The top wire shelf in the freezer is Mickey Mouse It would be better if it were a fixed shelf. There should be another fridge shelf or s mid drawer.. but the real reason for the complaint is the UNBELIEVABLY IRRITATING NOISE is puts out. The compressor emits an excruciating HIGH PITCHED RINGING that makes it impossible to enjoy a quiet relaxing dinner at the kitchen table. There were only 2 black side by side counter depth refrigerators on the market..and the other brand had a 3 month lead time… soooo I purchased the GE. It’s not so easy to JUST take it back. The problem isn’t that I don’t like it, the problem is the annoying high-pitched ringing it produces. Soooo I guess I’ll just be annoyed with it. My only hope is that it blows up within the next few years so I can justify buying a different one.

The refrigerator has limited space on the inside. The auger in the icemaker is plastic and the wheels on it break. It has happened to us twice in four years. The plastic pieces are dispensed along with the ice causing a swallowing hazard for the person drinking water or any type of liquid. Very dangerous.

It is so small that I have to rearrange my food every time I want to get something out or put in. . They say it is 21.9 cu ft but guess what. My previous fridge that fit in the same space was 2 times larger inside than this one. GE must be including all the space that supposedly makes it cheaper to operate. My nearest grocery store is 34 miles away and this fridge does not lend itself for shopping every 2 weeks. Plus after 2 years the inside freezer light burned out and I have to remove the ice maker to replace it. BEWARE. I would like to toss this one out the window. Worthless and it was expensive. It’s what GE does not tell you.

It works. The only reason it gets stars. Lighting inside is awful you can’t see the bottom shelf. There is no “cheese drawer” so there is no where to put cheese, lunch meat etc. The shelving in the freezer side can barely fit anything- not enough shelves. This unit came with the house we built otherwise I would never waste money on this fridge.

This refrigerator is horrible when it comes to storage in the freezer area. The bottom basket is too tiny. You have to take out the top tiny, wobbly shelf to get to the ice maker. The ice maker never shuts off when full so then ice is falling into freezer. Refrigerator is ok but could have used another drawer. GE should be ashamed of selling this product.

Disappointed, two important features lacking that I didn’t realize until I got the refrigerator home. One is a small drawer for small packing, deli & cheese. Another is poor lighting. The bigger disappointment is there is no way to upgrade the refrigerator after purchase. I would like to be able to purchase an additional drawer, but none is available. When using the crushed ice feature, chips collect inside the door and fall off to the floor next time the freezer door is opened.

This fridge has no cold cut drawer. The freezer shelves don't go all the way back so food falls behind. Not enough freezer shelves. Should have one more door shelf. I've had mine for 2 1/2 months and the ice machine overflows/won't stop making ice so Iwill have to call for repair. Shelf in butter compartment is slanted so butter dish slides out. The only reason I bought this one was the other one with the cold cut drawer was so backordered that I had no choice. Would not buy again/recommend.

overhead lights take up way too much space. fingerprints are hard to remove, had to replace freezer light 2X in 3 years. plastic auger that feeds the ice is breaking off in pieces, this is dangerous as the plastic shards end up in your drinking glass, plus it now takes forever to get ice to drop. we paid a lot of money but have to replace this unit after only 3 years.

Disappointed

Disappointed. Works great, but a lot of wasted space in both freezer and refrigerator. Could easily have added another shelf and drawer in the refrigerator. Ice maker takes up too much space in freezer and is very awkward to access. Definitely not worth the price.

I just received this refrigerator in my travel trailer on 12/2/23. The water dispenser will not turn off. The water continuously runs. I had to turn off the water valve to the refrigerator in the back.

I hate this fridge with a passion, mainly how inconvenient it is. Inside is very narrow and small. This is not the fridge to have if you have more than 2 people in your family. It’s too freakin small. I can’t wait to get rid of it and buy me a new good size fridge

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever owned. The doors do not seal properly, the temperature keeps warming the freezer, and refrigerator. I have thrown out ponds of produce.

Broken icy nightmare

The refrigerator….. has some major problems it keeps building ice in the back, and leaking, and makes horrible noises. The doors won’t seal. It won’t level, it wobbles like a top. The builder of the new home has been out rice to fix it and they said it needs to be replaced. They suspect that something “happened” to it like it fell off a truck or something.

After purchasing the GE Monogram Oven, Microwave, DW, Wine Fridge and the Cafe' Refrigerator....I would say go look at different packages. We have had failures with the Fridge (3 times), MW (2), DW in seven years. I'd say it's over-rated and now they have changed the name to "Profile". Buyer...please do your due-diligence.

3 months old and it’s broken. The compressor went and it has been a long and painful process to get it fixed. They helped a bit financially but need to do better with getting things fixed faster.

Builder model piece of junk (GZS22DSJMFSS)

Had since Dec.2021. Serviced for loud buzzing in ice maker. I think it was the fan. Now the temperature sensor be sleep!!eps all day and night. It is not oveloaded .I want to disconnect the sensor to stop the beeping so I can get some sleep . Can not find anything online about this model and how to disconnect it.

Supplied by builder. We have never had a side by side refrigerator. Don't care for it. Cannot put anything large in either compartment. Glad we have a top freezer in the garage.

Stopped working after 2 years

Compared to the Whirlpool counter depth refrigerator it replaced, it is a disappointment. The interior storage space is far less. There is no meat tray. The vegetable storage bins are considerably smaller...the ice maker is also disappointing...would not purchase again

Ice forming in freezer

1. We have this fridge just 2 weeks, after our other one died unexpectedly. Some things bother us, and if there had not been urgency to buy a new refrigerator, we probably would have chosen something else. As others have noted, ice forms in the back of the freezer—I would not have expected that after only two weeks. The recommended links seem inappropriate for a new product. 2. It is inconvenient to not have a cold cuts drawer where we would normally store cheeses etc. 3. Having only one light at the very top of the refrigerator part means all the shelves below the first two are dark, and that includes the two drawers at the bottom. We are living with an expensive mistake.

40 days after install freezer defrost parts broke. Had to make warranty service call. This fridge has overall cheap feel and was homebuilder provided and do not recommend this particular model.

Water filter rip-off

Generally works, but GE has put a little chip on their filters to block the use oF generic replacements for three or four times the price. The generics would work fine but GE has attached this chip to age out their filters and block the use of generics. Just another rip-off of their customers.
