Since the moment we received it, we were in awe at its beauty. We then adjusted the shelves to our needs. My wife introduced storage bins and now it’s an efficient part of the house. The lights offer a showroom to our produce and entice our sense of taste.

I've need a fridge for awhile. This one has some cool features I love. The shelf that moves so I can add larger items is a great plus. The lower freezer is huge. Looks great too!

We recently had to replace our LG refrigerator and selected this GE refrigerator and are absolutely in love with it based on reviews and features! My husband is in a wheelchair and the autofill feature is absolutely outstanding! So far the fingerprint resistant coating is working and cleaning is minimal compared to the old stainless steel refrigerator that we had. I highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone that has recently purchased an LG or Samsung because both of those refrigerators are faulty and mine went out within 2 years of purchasing. Many technicians came out and said it was common for the other 2 brands to break and at the end of all the back and forth it wasn't even repairable. Although I was sceptical of purchasing an appliance online it was the best decision we ever made and I highly recommend this product!

We live this refrigerator. It is very high end looking and there is a ton of space inside. The only issue we have is it makes very little ice and takes forever to make ice.:(.

These little chips on the handles happened right away. Seem to be a defect in the finish. We are not heavy users only 2 adults in house. Disappointed things like this bug me. Love love love the matte finish , it is gorgeous and always looks great no fingerprints

We love our new fridge. Especially love the features and the attractive design! Bought all GE profile appliances when we built our house, except the fridge. Our fridge was only three years old then, so we did not replace, but it was not a GE. Now all of my appliances match and are GE Profile. The hands free feature on the water dispenser is great! You just place your container or glass in the opening and the sensor automatically fills it, and you can walk away while it is filling. Also love the door in door feature. If I just want to get milk or condiments, I don't have to open the main door. I love the feature where you can slide the shelf back to put in a tall item, without having to adjust a shelf. This thing is HUGE on the inside...so much room in the top and the freezer!! Great purchase and I highly recommend!!

In general I love my new refrigerator. The door-in-door option is especially nice when retrieving a quick item like a carton of milk. If I had to change anything it would be to put the ice maker in the freezer. Having the ice maker in the door almost eliminates storage in this door - I’ve only been able to put small items like sticks of butter on these two upper shelves which makes them pretty much wasted space. Freezer space is more than generous and having temperature controls etc. on the door is extremely convenient. Color options (white or black) might be nice on this model as not everyone wants stainless.

Holds temps well. Lots of room. Especially like the extra lower ice maker I installed separately. Love the auto water fill. Water doesn't come out so hard that it splashes in your cup. Adjusted shelves to what works for us.

We had one of the prior models that was identical except the door in door. We had it for over 10 years and it survived 4 teenagers that used and abused it before the top half stopped cooling. Hopefully this one lasts just as long or longer with no teenagers.

We were browsing for a new fridge and saw this one. It had the features I wanted (deli drawers, controllable veggie and fruit drawers) and the features hubby wanted (ice maker). I didn't really care for the door in door feature, but now that I have it I quite enjoy it. It's quiet when it runs and comfortably fits everything we need for when family comes for holidays.

Well, I have only had my new gal 2 hours but she is so darned close to my old GE I am thrilled. It is a modern updated version of my old one except slightly smaller and with ice maker now in door, which I think I like better also. I love that I don't have to use stainless cleaner on doors anymore. Hoping this one will have the longevity of my old one then I will be super thrilled. Love my GE's. I will perhaps follow up with a more thorough evaluation after a months time. And I have no doubts that will be glowing as well.

Great quality fridge. It is sturdy and offers a lot of storage room especially with components that move. My favorite part of the fridge is the water auto fill. We replaced Our Samsung fridge that constantly had issues with this one and have not been dissatisfied.

I loved my old GE, but the freezer went out after 14years of great service. Needed to replace immediately, and choices were very limited in the specifications I needed to match my other existing GE appliances. There is absoultly nothing wrong with it, just hated to spend that much money and not be able to get exactly what I wanted. I love GE products. They hold up great.

Our old refrigerator went out 5 days before Thanksgiving. We've had this refrigerator about 30 days, its our 1st French door. Its about 2cf smaller than our side by side. I don't notice the difference. I actually like the freezer on bottom, seems like more space and more organized. The finger print resistance really works, it's so great. I am happy with the purchase. There are some draw backs to this model, I would not recommend this to families that keep lots of tall or gallon size items. Both doors have non-adjustable shevles. On the door in door side, just 1 of the 3 shelves will hold a milk gallon or tall items. The bottom shelf will hold tall items but not a gallon. The top shelf will hold items the height of a standard bottle of water. All 3 shelves will hold a lot. The other door has very shallow shelves because of the hidden icemaker. The interior shelves are adjustable but the configuration options are limited, no tall items. The "quick space" shelve is useful but best for temporary tall stuff. To configure my interior for my family's use, I had to remove one of the shelves. There is no designated space for eggs in this frige, so I purchased a rolling container to hold my eggs, I don't like them to stay in the carton. Over all I do like this refrigerator. Hope this helps

Very quiet and holds alot. I Like the door in door feature but light doesn't come on when using that door. Measurements seemed to be off in height by 1/2 inch higher than official paperwork. Manual doesn't list features because manual covers numerous models. I also wish digital display was lit. At night it's hard if not impossible to see the controls.

The storage bin for the ice dispenser is horribly small. Not sure you could fill 4 glasses with ice. LG and Samsung both have an overflow bin for ice storage once the front door bin is full. Is there an option for a 2nd machine installed in the freezer?

This is a terrifically performing refrigerator. Most everything about is great except the storage shelves on the door that houses the ice maker are so small, they are virtually unusable. Some of the shelving is also oddly spaced. We have adapted.

This fridge is beautiful to look at, and has become the “star” of my kitchen! It is sleek and modern-looking. It is spacious and well-thought out as to placement of shelves and in-door ice maker! The freezer makes plenty of ice, and the water is chilled when it dispenses! I also love that the door-in-door keeps the items in this section as cold as in the main part of the refrigerator. I love black stainless steel! All-in-all, we are most happy with our purchase!

It took me forever to find a double ice machine (top and bottom freezer)- I had to order and install the bottom ice machine myself (took me 2 hours lol)... but well worth the investment. Fridge is absolutely beautiful and has a cool front door that opens one side for quick access to kid juices (and adult wine). Cons- (that I think are still ok to live with) - 2nd Ice machine you have to install and order separate - Fridge was shinier than I expected- it looks more matte in the photo & I assumed based on the color description, it would better match the matte black look of the GE microwave we bought (when taking a photo, you can see your reflection) - Assuming it was GE fault, but originally placed my fridge order in September, arrived 2/12 - Water/Ice access is pretty low, our almost 2 year old likes to put his cup up to it and press it for water to come out (and spill everywhere)-- so we keep it locked for now, but our old fridge it was higher than only the 4 year old could reach it. - Lastly- I wish I could change the temp of the fridge- most fridges these days you can turn up or down- there is one place to set to "meat, deli, etc." but that's for one drawer.

A wonderful refrigerator with one small caveat

To those who say the refrigerator and/or ice maker are noisy I disagree. I can barely hear ine (I have to listen closely to hear it) and the icemaker is virtually silent - I wasn't sure it was actually making ice until I tested it. It is MUCH bigger that an equivalent-in-size side-by-side, the lighting is excellent, and the "readouts" on the panel are great as soon as you figure out how to use them. However....there are two things to keep in mind: when measuring access through a doorway the GE number is not accurate - with the "door off" the freezer drawer there still is a part that sticks out - so it is not less than 30" and you should be aware of that (GE mentions it in the "manual" that comes with the refrigerator but not on websites)....this caused the installation to be a bigger deal than usual - dismantling and re-assembling to get through my 30 inch doorway. Second, the manual is fairly worthless - it took me a day to realized the ice maker was not "turned on" - and even then I discovered it by accident. Not a big deal, though.

We have only had this one day, but the things that I love so far are the door in door with the lazy susan tray. That is so convenient for coffee creamer, containers of tea and so on. We also could not get over how quickly it got cold. The stainless black finish is absolutely beautiful. So far the only down side was peeling off the protective blue film. Some of it was behind assembled parts and I carefully used a stanley knife to remove it.

Just replaced our 14 year old LG with the GE Profile. The quality of this product was immediate over the LG which started falling apart after a year. The interior design from the shelves, drawers, lighting, freezer and water and ice dispenser are both handy and pleasing. The convince door is a new and useful feature as is the sensor water dispenser. The lighting is so pleasing, I feel like I’m opening a quality cabinet. Since we have had it less than a month, I hoping I’m right and it gives us more years than the LG.

The refrigerator has a lot of nice features and looks great in it's space. I would say the finger print resistant features is not accurate - I see no difference in finger prints with this unit compared to my old stainless steel refrigerator. The automatic water fill is really nice. I had to turn the temperature in the fridge to the lowest setting to get cold water dispensed.

The layout, design and design are excellent, but the plastic dividers in the freezer drawer are flimsier than expected and the entire fridge is on the loud side when it comes to compressor hum and ice maker noses. All things considered, a fantastic fridge whose benefits far outweigh my nitpicks.

The only issue is that some of the film is stuck under the creases in the doors and parts. The design of the French doors have been great. The bottom freezer has been great but the door sticks but you can hear it reseal when the door closes. The in door ice maker is good for a small family, but you will defiantly want to upgrade to the second ice maker if you have a larger family. Installation tip - to extend the feet remove the bottom draw completely. The instructions mention this but it was clear that is required to be able to adjust the feet.

There are parts of this refrigerator that I love and some that I'm trying to get used to. I wish the words on the keypad for the ice maker and water dispenser would be lit. It's really hard to see which button to push. However, the ice maker works really good, which was an issue with our last refrigerator. I also wish there was a seperate third drawer. I love the extra drawer on the inside of the fridge, just wish I could access it from the outside without having to open both doors on top. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend it!

The refrigerator is supposedly the same size as the last one I owned. For some reason it is just bigger. The layout internally is great. I love the colored drawer. I didn’t really care about the door in a door feature until I started using it. Ok. Way cool. When the kids want milk or apple juice, it’s right there. The freezer is great. I added the ice maker but too soon too tell if I needed it. I love the auto fill on the door. Way cool. So far, it’s perfect.

The black stainless steel is beautiful, in fact I purchased a range, microwave, dishwasher, and hood in the black stainless steel and paid extra for it. HOWEVER if I had known the black stainless steel would scratch so easily I would not have bought it (guess I did not do enough research).. I had my kitchen renovated and the fridge has only been hooked up a month and I already have scratches on the door!! (no ids, no pets)

Have only had for 2 weeks, but so far so good. Good size and flexibility with interior shelves. It's good looking, quiet and maintains desired temperatures. In door Ice maker is a bit temperamental and difficult to control, sending cubes out in a sudden burst and scattering all over the floor. Doors are real stainless opposed to a stainless-look finish and clean up easily with an e-cloth. So far, we are very pleased with it!

It is attractive, and the size and features meet our needs. The freezer is spacious and well designed with compartments, dividers, and multiple storage areas for various sized items, making it easy to organize. The refrigerator has adjustable storage shelves and drawers so that you can design the interior to efficiently hold anything you need to store. It is well lit too. The ice and water dispensers are conveniently located on the outside of the refrigerator for easy use. The one thing that could be improved is the ice dispenser is erratic in the volume that comes out and the ice doesn't just drop out, it is "thrown" out is a wide area instead of simply dropping into the glass or pitcher.

The Black Stainless-Steel GE Profile refrigerator matched with other GE appliances in our home. It has a lot of storage space for both top and bottom. We don't use much ice so the small ice maker is fine. After a few weeks we don't notice the noise. We like the auto refill feature and door in door is very convenience to pick a quick drink. It looks nice with the colored LED light for a drawer. We are extremely pleased w/the refrigerator and the capacity is wonderful! Ample room for veggies, dairy and meats in temp controlled drawer. Adjustable shelves allows for different container height needs. With the ice maker is door, the door shelves are narrow (1#box of butter fits well). Overall, very jappy w/fridge.

Large refrigerator, option to add a 2nd icemaker. Spent a lot of time going through online reviews and this model appeared best for the features I wanted. The instructions for adding the optional 2nd icemaker inside the freezer could have been clearer for the hose connections, but I was able to view an instructional video online which cleared up my questions. Note this is not a counter depth refrigerator, but that's the trade off for the additional space. Love the door in door. Only complaint is that to open the large bottom drawer in the refrigerator, you have to open both doors. Though this may come in handy for storing large trays if needed. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Phenomenal refrigerator. HUGE amount of space inside. Autofill feature is like something out a James Bond movie... and it works for every size glass we use. Door in door feature s ideal as we have kids at home who are constantly opening up the door, and a design that isolates 'frequently pulled items' via that 4th door is a genius design. Lastly this black stainless finish is gorgeous... very unique.

I love several things about this refrigerator, the door in a door, and the extra ice maker are the top two. The door in a door is very handy for the things you handle the most. The extra ice maker is great when you have guests over so you don't run out of ice. It's a large refrigerator so you can get a lot in it. It's well lit so you can see into it pretty well. My only problem is lm short. Getting to the back of the top shelf is a little hard but I love the space.

Right side of door offers easy access for juices and milk etc. Design of Left door with a more industrial look water dispenser is heavier to open because of ice maker on inside of that door.. Really have to make sure sure refrigerator doors are shut manually to prompt a solid seal or a pleasing alarm will alert you to secure the doors shut. Freezer capacity is deep and low.. Overall a good GE Profile product!

This is an amazing refrigerator! It has tons of space and lots of storage options which organizes the contents beautifully.. Because it is so roomy I can buy and cook for large family gatherings without having to organize and reorganize its contents. The LED lighting brightens the whole inside which makes it easy to find things even when it is packed. I love the features including the Sabbath mode, the sleek black stainless steel, and the bottom freezer with its drawers and out of view shelf that holds small items such as margarine or packs of frozen herbs and garlic. I find the automatic water dispenser very convenient as I walk away to do something while my cup fills up. My grandchildren LOVE the fridge and I keep warning them that it is not a toy!

Bought this refrigerator about a month ago. It has a good layout so most food is in view and it seems to hold more food than our old refrigerator which was rated at the same size. The door in door has proven to be a useful feature making it easy to get to frequently used items. My only complaint is that the control panel isn't lite and is hard to see after dark.

We love this refrigerator. We have the GE Cafe in our kitchen and purchased this one for our bar/entertainment area on our walkout level. Really like the 3rd door on refrigerator. The only thing I did not realize and never thought to check prior to purchasing is that it is not "Energy Star" rated. Not a big deal for me because I liked the refrigerator and would have purchased anyway.

The refrigerator works and looks fine , I just thought I had received the wrong one after they brought it in . I double checked the product number and it did match . I did have an issue with the delivery guys because a neighbor let us know that they had dropped it . After they left I found a bent bottom corner which I reported and they knocked a small amount off the price . I didn't want to go through the hassle of changing it out and waiting for the second one to get cold enough .

I really like the features of this fridge. I wasn't sure how well I would like the door in door feature, but I ended up really liking it for quick grab items like butter and milk. I feel like there could be more storage in the door in door and another shelf would have been nice. The really like the autofill feature for the water in the door. It is a spacious and the layout is nice. However, the compressor died after a month and ultimately had to have it replaced.

I recently bought a LG fridge for the garage at. 1/4 of the price which barely makes noise and is energy star rated. I love the fridge and look and space. The refrigerator has many features that we wanted. We had a problem within the first week when the handle of the freezer came off. We reinstalled the handle but it did secure firmly, We called the help line to see if they could provide some help we the installation but they said it was a defective handle and they the sent us a new handle. It is arrived but we cannot put it on because we do not have an allen wrench.

There are things I like and things I don’t. I like the door alarm. I like the finish. Other than that, it is about the same as the last one we had. I don’t like that you have to open both doors to access the meat drawer and like most refrigerators, some of the door storage is so small it is useless. The ice maker makes a mess when the ice comes out and the tray under the ice and water dispenser doesn’t come apart for cleaning.

The freezer draw is very hard to pull open i have to hold on, and brace to the fridge doors before i can open the freezer draw, it really annoying. i did't call to complain because we decided to wait and see by using and using it mite be better. the fridge is not cooling enough on the coolest which is 34 temperature, i have to used it on turbo cool before it cool enough

Pro: Black steel is Very nice looking. Good use of space in refrigerator and freezer. Nice bright lighting. Like how adjustable it is. Easy to keep clean. Con: Auto fill stopped working properly after 2 weeks (either will continue to flow over or stops at 1/4+- full.). Ice in freezer box always clumps up. Need to use hands on either side of Ice dispenser so all ice goes in glass. About 1/2 will be dispensed out to the sides unless a bowl is used. Refrigerator doors and freezer drawer are easily left open. Inside drawers do not have self closure either (really??). There are a number of much less expensive refrigerators that have all the pro features and non of the con features (I know this from other households). I thought this one would be excellent and last. I’m not confident of this anymore.

Delivered with “door in door” function inoperable (would not latch shut), there’s an obvious gap in the gasket on one door that seals against the body of the fridge, the fridge doors are nowhere near parallel and the best part - the unit DOESN’T COOL. Let it run nonstop for the recommended 24 hours and the inside of the unit was warmer than the room temp. So I had to call service to schedule a tech to come to the house to HOPEFULLY fix all the issues with this unit - or get me a new one on order. So I get to rearrange my work schedule to be here to deal with this. If the initial quality is this bad for a fridge in this price range I can only imagine how the other models must be!

I see this is no longer being made. As someone else said, it is noisy, the fan that moves the air went out in under 2 years. The lights in ours went to very dim about 5 months ago. Eve getting an undamaged appliances from GE was a problem. We had to reject delivery on the 1st refrigerator, reject the 1st cooktop, and microwave as all were damaged. The company I work for used GE appliances for years and left GE due to problems. GE was once a fine reputable company, but no more sadly.

Recently bought this refrigerator, worst quality ever! The shrink wrap was attached to the refrigerator to protect the stainless before pieces put together, therefore there is edges of pink shrink wrap around all the seals and edges. Also When you pull the freezer door open the entire refrigerator rolls forward towards you.

Started using this fridge 2018. I even put an appliance surge protect it from surges. But despite this , the fridge is very inefficient n keeping a safe cool temperature indide I have already set the lowest fridge setting of 34 degrees and the freezer at -6, yet the temperature in the fridge is at 45 and even 50degrees. The coldest freezer setting is supposed to help make the fridge cooler but to no avail. A lot of times, the fridge will just stop working: it would still have power but fans are all still and the temperature reaching 50 degrees ! Unbelievable for the money I paid for 3000 plus! My fridge has been serviced at least five times and Iam waiting for the GE service technician to give a diagnosis.

I bought the whole suite of appliances and waiting 6 months for the delivery, because of the fridge. Within 1 week started having trouble with the water filter and when it doesn't work, you can't use anything. Happened again, waited a week for a tech to tell me nothing is wrong and now I haven't had water for several days because the filter is reporting a leak detected, I have changed the water filters out. Supremely disappointed.

We have owned this refrigerator for 6 months and continue to have issues with the cooling system malfunctioning. Approximately ever other week I have to pull the refrigerator away from the wall to unplug the unit and plug back it back in hopes of re-setting the board because the refrigerator quits cooling. After a brief power outage yesterday, the refrigerator is not cooling and is not resetting. Called GE for service again and can't have a tech out for 8 days. This is the second time I have been without a refrigerator for over a week since I purchased this refrigerator. I thought I did my due diligence in researching a good product before I purchased but I was sorely mistaken.

After waiting for delivery, the refrigerator finally arrived with a broken compressor. A GE repairman visited the house promptly and ordered the part, and when it finally arrived our unit was repaired. We now enjoy the features very much and it runs almost silently.

Dimensions as advertised are not accurate. Design requires additional clearance in rear away from to accommodate water and ice hoses. You need more depth by 3 inches than they tell you. Also need extra 1/4 inch on top. No compartment for butter. Disappointed in how it fits in our kitchen. GE reps gave us poor advise on the phone.

Cannot level doors. Left door is always closing on you while you’re trying to get something out of the fridge. Freezer squeals when you close it. Noisy. Ripple on stainless steel skin by GE logo (that’s not specific to this fridge. Folks have different model with the same problem.). It’s new so time will tell how reliable it is, but if I could do it over we wouldn’t have bought it.
