Beautiful refrigerator and great choice so far!

I researched A LOT of refrigerators before buying this one and am very pleased with it! The inside is spacious and beautiful in blue. The water that is dispensed is chilled. It runs quietly unless getting ice. That is very loud! It arrived with misaligned doors but there was a tool included that adjusted them to match. I have only had it for one week but so far I love it and hope it lasts.

Solid purchase

Bought just shy of a month ago. The freezer is top notch cooling; looks like i open a meat locker every time i open it with the frost coming out of the blower. Fridge side has ample room for the wife and I with room to spare. Hooked right up no problems. Doors needed to be leveled but that took about 2 minutes me doing myself. The only minor thing i wish it came with was the air filter for the fridge side. Ice maker is a little slow but i don't expect much from icemakers.

I was not sure about the color inside at first, as we didn't pay attention when we were looking online. But now I love it, it looks elegant and high end! The freezer seems to be bigger than my previous Botton freezer. I really like it very much. ice maker is very cool, its in the door, so I have more space in the freezer.

Love this Maytag refrigerator

I like the color and the lighting. The blue interior adds and additional unique appearance. For the same amount, the Maytag offered a unique interior look to it's counter refrigerator whirlpool. I like the control panel on the front of the freezer door and it has endless space inside. I purchased an extra door shelf from Maytag to give extra door space since it doesn't come with the top "butter" compartment on the refrigerator door that most refrigerators come with.

Great size Freezer and attractive interior color

This side by side has everything I wanted in large refrigerator/freezer and controls for temperature are great . Interior color looks great and lighting is excellent. There is plenty of shelves and storage bins. Temperature adjustment is great to access and control without opening doors to adjust. Have one BIG issue with this refrigerator is water dispenser extremely low pressure followed all instructions on how to relieve air from system several times also installed new quarter turn supply valve to no charge in pressure plenty of supply pressure to refrigerator solenoid valve but very weak att water dispenser fear the plastic supply lines have a kink somewhere in water system in refrigerator .

Beautiful Maytag Fridge

This is my first Maytag appliance, and I was gifted this refrigerator for my honest review. Honestly, I love it!! I’ve been using this fridge for a couple of weeks, and I am so happy with it. The first thing that stood out to me was the space. I have a huge family, and when I go shopping, I don’t buy food just for a day or two. I don’t buy certain things in bulk because I just didn’t have the fridge space, but now I feel comfortable buying them because I have the space to store them. I’m used to buying fridges with the draw as the freezer, but this fridge has shelves, and that’s a first for me. The shelves are so spacious and are easier to keep organized. I’m still getting used to it, but I prefer them over having to take things out of a packed freezer drawer. The blue is a dark blue, but once you open the doors, the fridge lights illuminate the whole fridge, which helps take away from the dark blue interior. This fridge is a beautiful addition to my home, and I am extremely pleased with my first Maytag Appliance. If you need a spacious fridge with flair, I highly recommend checking this out.

Best Refrigerator By Maytag!

Let me start this review by saying my wife and I are very pleased with this Maytag Refrigerator! It is way bigger than any other refrigerators we have had in the past. It has a lot of room to put food/drinks in both the refrigerator and freezer. I highly recommend purchasing this specific brand/refrigerator if you are looking for a fridge with a lot of space. I will only buy Maytag refrigerators for now on. It is a 36 inch Wide Full Depth side-by-side refrigerator with artic blue interior, which looks amazing, and it is 28.3 cubic ft. I love the LED lighting cause I can see all shelves with no problem when looking for food/drinks. It is also fingerprint resistant, which is amazing cause on my old refrigerator it would leave smudges everywhere. It came with a water filter that does need to be replaced every 6 months, so you have cold water. My wife likes how it is an XL & she likes the heavy-duty door hinges, which is stainless steel. The noise level is very low to be so big. It has tons of drawers and shelving to place items in both the fridge and freezer. Me and my wife enjoy the exterior ice and water dispenser, and you can change the ice cubes to cubes or crushed. It has a humid controller in it as well, so it keeps all groceries fresh. I no longer have to put a box of baking soda in my fridge because of the fresh flow filter. The freezer/fridge beeps when left open too long to remind you, which is nice. I do like how it has the ice bin on the inside of the freezer door cause it frees up space in the freezer & the bin is removable which is nice for when I go hiking i can dump it into my cooler. It also has a power freeze option if it's open too long. It comes with a 10 year warranty which is the best part also. If you haven't bought one of these, please do cause it is so worth it to have more space in a fridge/freezer especially if you have a big family!

Beautiful and Spacious

First, this refrigerator is beautiful. It has a sleek stainless steel design. The inside is arctic blue which looks modern, classy, and high-end! Instead of your normal light bulbs, there are LED lights throughout it and a LED tower in the back that helps you see everything that is on the shelves. Say goodbye to putting baking sodas boxes in your fridge! I used to put baking soda in my fridge to absorb odors. However, this fridge has an area built in for a fresh flow filter that absorbs food smells and keeps your refrigerator smelling fresh. It is located in an area that does not take up space and it is easy to replace the filter. The water filter is located in the top left of the fridge and the filter easily just screws in. The water and ice machine has a few highlights. There is a measured fill button on the screen that lets you determine how much water you would like to dispense such as 8,16, or 24 ounces. It stops automatically at the amount that you select. The ice machine dispenses crushed or cubed ice. The ice machine is located on the freezer door and saves space by not having it inside the freezer where shelf space should be. I absolutely love this refrigerator. It has so much space for anyone’s grocery needs and I highly recommend!

TONS OF SPACE and A LOT OF EXTRA FEATURES

This is hands down the greatest fridge that I have had the pleasure of owning! I just have to start off by saying I went with the full counter depth and it is super deep for storage. I am seriously just impressed with the size and ability to actually see everything that's packed inside. There are drawers for everything you could possibly need and the blue liner on the inside of both the fridge and the freezer are absolutely beautiful and give the appliances such a new modernized look. The French doors are very sleek and stylish giving off a minimalist look. This has a nice filtered water and ice maker that just set this over the top. Hidden touch pad for temperature adjustment between the door for the most accurate temperature settings. The freezer also has great trays and shelves that can be reorganized for a better fit. Overall I am just completely overwhelmed with how nice this Maytag Refrigerator actually is. I received this as a reviewer from Influenster but I can honestly say I couldn't wait to get rid of my old fridge for this marvelous upgrade. I am completely and thoroughly blown away by the value and your craftsmanship. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to totally transform their kitchen into a full-blown restaurant with all the bells and whistles. A beauty to look at and I cannot wait to see how she holds up long term!

I absolutely love the blue interior, I have never had a refrigerator like that. It’s so pretty and new and I love it. It has ample amount of space. Perfect for my family of 5. It’s side by side which I needed for my house. You don’t hear the refrigerator during the day which i absolutely love. It keeps my food at the perfect temperature. It very durable and I love that you can get cubed or crushed ice. It has plenty of storage and shelves. The shelf is adjustable. It has a light as well as you can lock the panel. It’s stainless steel and don’t leave finger prints. Very energy efficient and i absolutely recommend this refrigerator to everyone. It’s completely beautiful and add a nice touch to your kitchen.

Very spacious

This refrigerator is so spacious and the shelving can be moved around to give you the amount of space you need. That includes whether you want more height for tall drinks or if you rather have more shelves and not need additional height space. The freezer definitely gets cold quickly along with the ice produces quickly. I absolutely love the matted stainless steel due to it reduces the finger prints on the outside of the refrigerator. You can choose the temperature control on the outside of the refrigerator and choose crushed ice or cubed ice. This refrigerator seems to have endless options and benefits. It has a cool blue lighting in the inside. The refrigerator is pretty much silent except for the occasional ice making. This refrigerator is a great quality and you would be obsessed with the options and storage space.

Power Cold!

I absolutely love love love this side by side refrigerator! First off, im so happy that maytag came out with this new power cold refrigerator! I've had this refrigerator for almost a month now, and let me tell you, the power cold is a must-have! After being out grocery shopping, I can come home, put my groceries away, and know that the power cold will get my groceries cold very quickly! The Artic blue color is absolutely beautiful! On top of that, this refrigerator is very spacious! The amount of room there is to store food is very nice! When I first received this refrigerator, I was a bit concerned that it would be super dark inside, but that is not the case at all. The lighting is amazing. I'm able to see all throughout the refrigerator. Overall, the price is on point! It has so many amazing features! I love the shape of the ice cube, too! They aren't too big and they aren't too small! My old refrigerator would take a while to dispense the water and ice, but this one comes out quickly! Maytag did an amazing job with creating this refrigerator!

I am beyond blessed for this wonderful blessing from God. Thank you almighty heavenly father. 🙏 the features of this refrigerator is absolutely incredible. It has temperature controls for the freezer and fridge onscreen( touch based) separately. Very simple to use and no programming is needed unless you want to reduce the temperature settings. The overall depth of the fridge is enormous I never seen a fridge capacity with so much space. Like a true life walk in fridge. It can store a whole lot of food and I have a huge family of children and love to cook fresh. I like how each fridge and freezer sections have deep shelves for expanded storage capacity and also has drawers - deep depth for additional storage. This fridge by maytag is absolutely remarkable to say the least. It's very sleek in design and classy will serve as an excellent addition to your home kitchen. In all honesty this refrigerator is top of the line and runs very quiet. It inspires me to tap into my inner foodie. No more the days where you have no space. And good days for extremely healthy eating as this inspires you to purchase and store more fresh fruits and veggies. The water and ice features are absolutely breath taking. The delivery and install process was absolutely amazing the delivery men were phenomenal with installing and setting up the refrigerator in my home. The time slot to schedule the appointment was quick and easy. I loved the precise notifications and communication from the driver. The installers were very knowledgeable and educated about the fridgerator and also provided me with tips to use the product. I bought this Maytag refrigerator a week ago. First impression is it is amazing! The packaging ,fit and finish is top notch. Soon as you grab these stainless handles you feel quality. Once you open it up the blue interior is very well lit with the led lighting. Items really stand out in the refrigerator. The icemaker for a large refrigerator is a bit slow. But I like the square ice cubes. The drawers operate very smoothly. This unit holds more than my old side by side. Well thought out interior space. Like the water filter up at the top instead of on the bottom on my old one. I’m hoping that this will be a durable unit. I’ve had great success with other Maytag appliances.

Beware FALLING ICE.

The ice dispenser is the only concern we have. It spits out the ice very quickly and in various trajectories, some of it ending up on the floor instead of the glass. We would also prefer a larger sized cube.

Maytag refrigerator

I purchased this model on 1/16/2026 but, it was a defect as the ice maker would not work. 2 service men came out to try and fix it but, it would still not work. So Famous Tate got us another refrigerator same model and it works fine so far.

It's only been a week but so far, my wife and I love the fridge, however the manual is very confusing, manuals should not be a one size fits all. I don't know if it is standard procedure for the delivery people to leave all the plastic film and tape on the fridge for the customer to remove it was quite a job for two elderly people and now we need to get the glue from the tape off of it there's not much, but what's there needs to come off I was told that Goo B Gone would work please advise if this is ok to use.

Great fridge with just a few things I'd change

Why do they always push you to review right after you buy a major appliance? Now that I've had it for around a month, I really like the overall design. The blue interior is a really nice change from the typical white. The vertical light bars make it a lot easier to see everything inside. The Evenair system helps the fridge run a lot less than my last one. LOTS of space, shelves in the main unit and door designed very functional. The measured fill water dispenser is very handy and saves the lifespan of the trigger. What I would change. Need a lock feature on the touch pad, I've accidently turned on power freeze a few times by bumping it and not realizing. Calling it "Sabbath" mode is odd and I had to look online for what it was (dims lights and sounds). It's nice the ice maker doesn't take up much space, but the cubes are a little small, the basket does not hold a lot, and it's a little slow to make more.

Best Refrigerator/freezer on every scale

We bought this beautiful side by side refrigerator/freezer and could not be happier! With the blue walls inside and lights throughout, you can see everything. there is ample room in the three drawers and the 5 side shelves on the door. The shelfs are glass and easy to clean and see through. The water and ices work fantastic! We had ice within an hour of hooking up and the freezer door ice machine leaves more room for shelf space inside. I am more than happy with this appliance.

The lights in the refrigerator and freezer are very bright and compliment the dark interior. No blind spots. I have to push hard on the touchscreen to access the functions. The cooling system is better than expected and by far the best I’ve had in a refrigerator. Would be 5 star if touchscreen was easier to access.

Really like this refrigerator, love the blue interior. It runs quietly even the ice maker. The only complaint I have is getting the bins and sheving in and out, very difficult because the doors do not open far enough for clearence. Other than that, I'm happy. Also like that it is fingerprints a d smudge free!!

I’ve had this fridge for about two months and so far no complaints. The unit runs quietly and the ice maker keeps up with a family of five. Both sides have a lot of room and we like the freezer side better compared to a fridge with a pullout lower freezer, you can actually see what you have.

We just received our new refrigerator a week ago, and we're so happy with the purchase! From the purchase, to the delivery, to the installation - everything was so easy and seamless. And the Maytag 10 year warrantee is so much better than anything else out there. It's the same size as our old fridge, yet somehow has SO much more room! How is that possible? Being able to program the temps on either side separately is great. I can make sure the fridge is cool enough, and the freezer is at a perfect temp for ice cream. And it's so beautiful inside. I love the arctic blue interior. I can see every nook and corner easily. I have more shelves, deeper storage, and the blue color is so cool and soothing. Every time I open the door, I have to smile! I bought this refrigerator a month ago and it fits perfectly into the space we needed it to. Plenty of space, everything is perfectly cold/frozen. Being able to see the ice maker is nice. Only down side is it's hard to see in the back of the drawers. Tinted drawers that don't easily pull all the way out, in our family food gets lost.

I like the ice cube size!

we bought this late September to replace a broken frig. It was worked beautifully. I love the ice cube size. ice maker is a bit noisy when using only. I like the stainless steal tray of the water dispenser so easy to clean. I havent figured out yet how to slide out shelves but I guess I will when needed. Or Im cleaning it in the frig. It seems very tight. The name tag on the door is crooked so we have a magnet over it so our OCD isnt driving us crazy. I do like this frig and am happy with it

More room and easier to use

I love this refrigerator. I had a split fridge before (freezer on bottom and fridge on top) and was frustrated with lack of space and flexibility. LOVE this side by side. It is easy to see everything, I have MORE ROOM than I did in my other. The Ice Machine works great (love the little cubes!). Really happy with my choice. -- and it is BLUE inside! (My favorite color, plus it gives it a note of elegance.)

State of the Art

I am so very happy I purchased a Maytag Fridge. The delivery and installation was professional and timely. This fridge is state of the art, easy to maintain organization and we have plenty of room, not to mention the fruit and veggie drawers are larger than my previous and hold plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. The 10 year warranty can’t be beat. I have since purchased a Maytag over the range microwave and I am just as pleased. I would absolutely recommend a quality Maytag every time.

A Lot of Bang for the Buck

Love this refrigerator. So much room. So many options for adjusting the door bins and best of all the adjustments allow for multiple tall spaces, not just one like most refrigerators. Same with freezer, we made one shelf extra tall for boxes of pizza to stand sideways. Love the blue interior and lighting. This is a big refrigerator, but the exterior design doesn't make it look like it is taking up the whole kitchen like the french door refrigerator we replaced.

I purchased this fridge because all my other appliances are Maytag and I have had good performance from them. I like the blue interior and how easy the drawers move. Lots of room in the fridge and freezer. Only dislike is the low water pressure from the exterior dispenser.

Great fridge, but need more light in the drawers

I bought this fridge a few weeks ago and so far I am happy with the purchase. The only thing I dislike is that the veggie drawers do NOT have any light and are very dark. There isn't even reflected light inside. This makes it hard to see what is in the drawers. Overall the blue interior limits light, but the added side lights compensate for that. The filtered water runs very slow. Small pyramid shaped ice cubes seem to keep the drinks very cold.

We purchased this a few weeks ago to replace a failing 25 year-old GE monogram. It’s a beautiful unit, which has been working fine. There’s really only one thing we don’t much care for. It clearly says 10 year in pretty big letters right on the front, referring to the warranty. But when you read the smaller print you run into words like limited and parts. And indeed, if you read the written warranty, the only thing covered is the most significant part—but not the labor to replace it. So if you (perhaps like me) grew up on television commercials about the lonely Maytag repair man, you may find that the current administration is not so confidence inspiring.

Most Beautiful Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator a week ago and love it. It is the most beautiful refrigerator from inside out. The outside is smudge proof stainless steel with the most handsome Maytag signature door handles. It has separate water and ice dispensers and a couple features I still need to look into further. The inside is the most magnificent arctic blue with lots of lighting. The inside is also ginormous! Everything is neatly organized because of the extra shelf space. My two must-haves were a deli drawer ✔️ and ice maker on the door ✔️. I look forward to a long and happy experience with the Maytag 36” Full Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Arctic Blue Interior.

Works fine-Some features need a better design

Fridge works fine. Had an issue with the Fridge door hinge scraping at the top. Had to add a washer to correct the problem. Would not expect this for an item brand new out of the Factory. Ice dispenser is quite loud and the panels you have to press to get water and Ice are a bit difficult to press to dispense. My old Frigidaire model was much simpler with the old lever style. Will have to see next year when I clean the compressor coils how easy that process will be.

I purchased this refrigerator in early September. I love the look and operationally it great. The ice maker when it drops the ice Is loud. Additionally I had to return my original refrigerator due to imperfection inside. The second refrigerator had imperfections but not as many. I needed a refrigerator so I kept it. Quality control at the plant needs improvement. However I love the refrigerator.

They have redesigned the interior and the drawers are on gliders that don’t break. They added top & front lighting which helps tremendously. The condiment shelves are generous and have more levels. Spacious with additional storage for ice and milk

I recently purchased this refrigerator and absolutely love the capacity of it. Our older fridge was full as was the freezer. We now have more room to stock up on things and space in the freezer for extra ice. I did try to rearrange the shelving order to suit our preferences but found that was only possible with one shelf. However, it is finally nice to be able to fit gallons of milk in the door.

Nice interior

I purchased this product in July, and so far the only thing I’ve noticed that is unusual is all the different sounds the refrigerator makes. Ticking and humming and sometimes a noise that sounds like one you’d hear when you hear a motorcycle driving in the far, far distance. It’s not loud but it another example of the little noises. Also I wished the doors would open up to a 90 degree angle instead of less than that. It would make it easier to remove shelves to clean them.

Shake n Bake - Only Winners buy Maytag.

Interior designs is pretty well thought out and is what sold us. The interior coloring, shelf placement,LED illumination to name a few. I was able to get the unit at a deeply discounted price as well so that combined with the features quickly sold us. The exterior of the unit had a “10 year” badge stuck to it that was not on the demo model or on any of the Maytag ads so why force you customers to look at them EVERY TIME they open the door. Place it next to the SN on the inside. Point is it cheapens the look of the unit. Obviously otherwise they would be on the units on the demo floor as well as the website. Even the review site doesn’t have it. I removed it. The MAYTAG sticker also looks slightly offline as well. So fit and finish is ok which matters when speaking to a focal point of the kitchen. The features are well placed however the touch panel is cheap. Looks nice from a far and up lose but does. It take much when pressed on to flex the panel. There are not buttons on the touch panel. Just an illuminated screen. Also, the dispensing light has to be turned back on every time you use the water and/or ice. So if you plan to use it as a night light be aware. It’s unnecessarily annoying and doing this has no real impact on the grid with energy savings so what’s the point other than to annoy the user. Ice maker took about 48 hours to fill and the ice bucket hold enough. Dispenses well and is very easy to use and clear jams, remove the box to use as a bucket etc. Smartly done. Your not throwing a party with the ice this produces but 2-4 tapping it regularly throughout the day is no problem for this unit at all. The water dispenser is sufficient meaning its dispenses at a what I would call a slow to normal stream. It’s ok not great but ok. It’s not water to pressure the unit - possibly the filter that came with it but the pressure just is a little more than a dribble. Let’s just say your not tapping this system to put out any fires. You definitely know it’s pumping water as well not loud just industrial sounding. The filter - simple straightforward and easy to replace. No special stretches, power tools , or referencing the cuss word dictionary to replace. Twist the cap 1/2 turn, take off filter cap, pull out filter, replace filter, twist cap back on. The end. And after looking online for replacement prices I am happy to report I’m not calling my bank to discuss finance terms for a loan. Would I buy this unit again? Yes. It looks nice and I like the simple straightforward features. I’d like to say this unit replaced a unit we had for 30 years and finally died BUT that would not be true. The fact is it replaced a unit that was 3 mos old and tried to sing me a tune or chime at me every time I used it. I draw the line at my appliances trying to tell me how to live my life.

I like everything about the fridge except the interior color is more of a gray-blue color than the one I saw in the showroom which was a really beautiful blue. I was super disappointed at first. The color was the main reason I bought it. I talked to the owner of the place where I bought it and seemed like there was nothing that could be done. The fridge & Freezer work fine and holds a lot of food.

This is a huge purchase and i expected it to work properly! The ice maker wont dispence without a metal rod to poke the ice apart so it dispences. Plenty of space and very cool dark color inside. Door ice is a fail.

I do not recommend this refrigerator! It is EXTREMELY NOISY while it's running. There are limited shelf adjustments. There is good lighting at the top but none at the bottom. The blue finish inside scratches easily.

Autofill isi not what I expected.

The water auto fill feature only offers 8, 16, and 24 ounces. It doesn't allow anything else. The Instruction Sheet W11790254A confusingly says: "You can Dispense water by ounce (8, 16, 24), cup, or liter. The default unit is ounces. This model displays options for 8, 16, and 24 oz. Default, minimum, and maximum volumes are listed below." To not even be able to fill a liter / 32 oz water bottel is rediculous and not advertised when making the purchase.

My old fridge was fine but didn't make enough Ice. This once created more ice and had a larger ice capacity so we upgraded. The Ice maker broke on this new fridge after less than two months of ownership. Metal gears to spin the ice agitator arm completely fell apart. My wife and kids are complaining to me daily about it. Not a happy camper. Parts supposedly on backorder. Hopefully that doesn't mean for 2 years.
