Great fridge

This is the best fridge! I was a little concerned because I needed a counter depth fridge. I had one before and was always short on space in both the fridge and freezer. That is not the case with this GE Profile. I absolutely love it and it is so quiet. It came up to temp in no time and the shelving was perfect without any changes. The door in door is a great feature that will save on energy over time. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I love the openness once you open the fridge and you can see everything and the shelving on the doors are essential because some things you just wanna pull out real quick and the side door makes it easier for that option and it’s more quiet so if someone’s getting coffee creamer in the morning, they can just press it open it. Should it all quiet without making a bunch of noise which is my favorite feature as well as I love how the water automatically fills up the picture that way I don’t have to worry about it and it’s always really cold which I also love

We are very pleased with our new GE Profile refrigerator. While there are many features that sold us on this particular appliance, I particularly like how spacious it is, offering many options to rearrange shelves to accommodate large platters. Since I love to entertain and host parties I often have the need to make space for several trays of food. Initially I was skeptical about the double doors however, I am pleasantly pleased with the quality and design of this product.

We had are old refrigerator for 15 years start shopping for a new fridge and came upon the GE Profile French door and love how much nicer this refrigerator looks and the quality. I for sure would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a nice refrigerator. I like the idea that the ice maker is in the inside and that it has auto fill pitcher inside of the refrigerator area, love all the convenient storage, love the door in door feature.

We love the space of this fridge, the extra drawer we use for water and sodas really frees up space. The water jug feature is basically a built in Brita water pitcher that I never have to refill. The ice maker is non stop so we never run out of ice. Temperatures are kept at factory settings so nothing is melted in the freezer and nothing is frozen in the fridge. This refrigerator only makes noise if a door alarm goes off. The interior has a beautiful “back splash” that is lit up. We absolutely love this fridge.

Love the clean look with the water dispenser inside and the convenience of removing it to fill up my coffee machine. The space is great and the double door access for everyday items is great. Its operation is very quiet and so far working as expected. Very happy with my purchase

We love this refrigerator. We have the counter depth and I’m so glad we did. There is WAY more room than our side by side. Love the pitcher, the placement of the filter for easy access, and the extra drawer for whatever you need it to store. Also, the self closing drawers are nice. I didn’t realize how bad our old fridge was until we bought this one. Produce lasts longer. Delivery was outstanding as well.

Love the back lit panel. Spacious and easy to see everything. The quick open door makes it easy to grab the milk and creamer in the morning. The top drawer is great for adjusting the temperature to your needs, wine, meat, snacks. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the water pitcher in the door tends to leak in some way that I can’t figure out. It dribbles on to the floor when I open the door.

We love this new refrigerator. Upgraded from a 20 year old GE side by side to the Profile with bottom freezer drawers. The configuration is spot on and the door within a door feature is surprisingly useful. Downside, GE makes it impossible to claim their rebate.

The fridge is beautiful. A huge improvement from the two letter fridge we used to have. The door in door feature is a must. No need for the kids to open anything else. The space inside and the lighting makes it very easy to find what you are looking for and the way the shelving is makes the fridge feel even bigger. This was the perfect buy for our 8 person household, and it uses less electricity than similar sized fridges from other brands.

Features are what I wanted. Decided to go with the in door water pitcher vs in door ice/water and that was the right call for me. The only annoying things are 1) The handles on the vegetable keeper are at the bottom and I keep reaching for them on the top and 2) when you want to get ice you open the freezer then you have to reach in and pull out the drawer with the ice maker instead of opening the freezer and the ice maker drawer opening with it. Neither is a big deal.

I replaced a 24-year-old Kitchen Aid side by side frig. That frig was still working but a little noisy and I wanted upgraded features, french door layout & better energy savings. I was looking at a similar Cafe version, but this frig was the same except for some of the colors and less pricey. The auto-fill pitcher is used multiple times a day. The middle "beverage" drawer of V-8, beer & white wines is organized and works great. Love the door in door access to must haves. I did buy multiple organizer bins for both frig shelves and freezer drawer. Warranty and made in USA are a plus. So happy I upgraded to this quiet beauty! Plus, the Labor Day savings was a great savings. Service install was fantastic!!

The middle drawer is a nice addition - we use it to store drinks, leaving the upper section open for food. I also like the LED backlit wall, and the door-in-door feature for milk, etc. It’s very quiet as well. We’re hoping it lasts us for many years.

The refrigerator fit perfectly into our not so large cut out space and looks beautiful! The shelves are well thought out and provide more storage than you would think. I love the pitcher full of cold filtered water to easily fill my coffee pot, tea pot, water glass and pet water dishes!

Great space for a counter depth refrigerator. The drawer in the middle is great for drinks and keeping an Ice bowl higher easier to fill up cups. Ice does not melt in that space and drinks dont freeze. Strange but good.

It took me months to decide whether to get a counter depth refrigerator or regular size refrigerator because I was afraid I wouldn’t have enough room inside for all my food. I also couldn’t decide on whether I wanted the water and ice on the outside of the door or inside. After much deliberation, we decided on this refrigerator and I just love it. The water picture on the inside which automatically fills after using it is fantastic. The compartments on the doors are much wider and very roomy than my full-size refrigerator that I just replaced. the fourth drawer is great because in my previous refrigerator , the deli drawer kept on getting stuck and off track. When you open the French doors, the LED backlight comes on and lights up the whole refrigerator beautifully. GE got it right with this model.

Refrigerator works well and the controls are very convenient and straight-forward. Wifi connection is easy and the information on the app is very useful. Two-part upper-right door very convenient. A solid appliance. Suggested Improvements: -Inside depth much less than our previous counter-depth Samsung of the same exterior depth. -Top doors don't stay open without being held. -Top sliding drawer in the bottom freezer should have a detent to hold it to the front when being closed so one doesn't always have to reach back and under to pull it forward.

Overall we love the refrigerator, only thing I would suggest changing is the area behind the top of the door to make it flush with the box of the refrigerator so it can be pushed back under the above cabinets. The extra raised area (probably for electronics) should be built into the box and not added to the top front making it taller than most normal cabinets.

It took six weeks of problems with other stores and fridges that wouldn’t come through the door or wouldn’t fit in the space I had for it, even though I paid PC Richard to measure in my kitchen. One phone call to AJ Madison and I had a fridge in a week!!! This refrigerator was worth waiting for. I had a few adjustments in the beginning but once it was all worked out we couldn’t be happier!

Love this fridge! I love the style and look and so far we’ve had no concerns or issues (after about a month). The refillable pitcher is great for filling pet water bowls and the auto refill feature is great! It’s not super quiet at times, but that doesn’t bother us that much. The counter depth is a little shallow but it fits our space well and the freezer has great space.

I love this refrigerator. The door-in-door feature with rotating bin, the backlit panel, the adjustable shelves, the water dispenser, the adjustable temperature drawer are things I never knew I needed but now can’t live without. And the freezer section holds much more than I expected. I only knew I didn’t want an external dispenser nor an ice maker in the refrigerator section when I started shopping. I’m happy I found the GE Profile had everything I was looking for and more.

We love our new GE Profile 4-Door French Counter Depth refrigerator. The features stood out when we shopped other brands and the quality is superb. The Autofill pitcher feature is so convenient to use for such things as filling your coffee maker, quickly getting chilled water into glasses when serving meals, etc. It looks so beautiful in our kitchen. I highly recommend you take a look at this refrigerator if you are in the market for one.

What's great: an internal water pitcher that automatically refills, LED light wall, soft close crisper bins, large door bins, fingerprint resistant, and 23 cubic feet of storage in a counter-depth design. What's not so great: large door bins mean smaller crisper bins, retraining muscle memory to reach for the crisper drawer grab handle located at the bottom instead of the top. I would have preferred eliminating the adjustable temp drawer in favor of more freezer space.

We've had GE appliances for decades but the last two refrigerators we've had may make me swear off the brand for good. The one we had prior to our current model ran almost constantly and was very loud. So we got our current one. It works fine in keeping things cold/frozen. Our issue is the autofill for the water pitcher. First of all, it takes FOREVER to refill. Yes, we've checked to make sure the line is not kinked or twisted. The biggest issue however, is that it doesn't shut off properly perhaps one out of every ten refills. Either it doesn't fill very full, or it doesn't shut off and overflows. You had better not walk away from it or you might end up with a puddle on the floor. So you have to stand there for several minutes waiting for it to fill but also to make sure it shuts off. And yes, we know about shutting the door gently so the float in the pitcher doesn't get lodged.

Disappointing Quality

The style and layout of this refrigerator are nice. However, it is the second one we've owned and have had the same problems both times. It is VERY loud when it is running. The ball bearings in the flex drawer were bad, and in the latest one, the left door doesn't close properly. We have had great success with all other GE Profile appliances we've owned throughout the years, other than this refrigerator. Would not recommend this product.

We decided to buy a ge profile refrigerator because the brand rated the most reliable. We previously had a ge profile side by side that lasted almost he 17 years. We replaced it with a Samsung 4 drawer and loved the capacity of the refrigerator. It lasted 13 years, which i thought was good, the ratings have gone down on the brand and even worse is the LG. So, back to GE. We are so disappointed in the comparison of the capacity of the refrigerator with Samsung's. The capacity of the refrigerator space inside from the shelves to the fruit, vegetable and freezer spaces just ridiculous! No comparison to the amount of space in the Samsung. We needed a counter depth size. If we didn't have a second refrigerator we would not be able to store the food we had in the old Samsung. Come on GE! I sure hope the sacrifice we made for reliability is worth what we gave up in space.

Fitment of doors not worth the price of this equipment. Left door binds when trying to close and is damaging the seal. The right door has that peek-a-boo door which prevent the main door from opening. No owners manual included, only a website.

Issues from the start due to poor manufacturing

Product arrived damaged. Freezer door had dings upon arrival. Left door was repaired once for it catching and there is still an issue. Soft close door feature was broken on arrival. These issues should not be present on a brand new refrigerator that costs as much as this one,
