Very happy with my purchase

Overall, I really like this fridge freezer. Plenty of space in the fridge, sleek looking, keeps a good steady temperature. Some hidden storage features. The freezer is a little on the small side, but we make it work. The salad and vegetable drawers roll in and out easily. The demo in the store was not so great at that and I was a little worried. It’s easy to use the water feature Inside the door. Overall, a great little unit.

I love my new refrigerator! I was worried about storage and space inside but it is so SPACIOUS! I can’t fill it up! The lighting is so modern and allows you to see EVERYTHING inside. I also enjoy the water dispenser on the inside. Thos aspect gives a clean look on the outside with the convenience of a water dispenser on the inside! It’s a great product.

Stylish French Door KitchenAid

The design and look is very attractive and the efficient layout for items is much better than I had hoped for. The new lighting is beautiful and the exterior is stunning. This refrigerator has exceeded our expectations. The interior is very well lit, making it easy to find everything, even items stored in the back. We especially love the spacious door shelves, which provide plenty of room for large bottles, condiments, and other frequently used items. The Sabbath Mode is also a fantastic feature, giving us peace of mind and convenience when we are away on vacation. Overall, it's a well-designed refrigerator with excellent storage capacity and thoughtful features that make everyday use much more enjoyable.

Love this black refrigerator. Goes so well with our kitchen design. Having the freezer on the bottom, as well as the ice dispenser, leaves so much more space in the upper part of the refrigerator. The water dispenser on the inside of the refrigerator is perfect. Everything stays so fresh, the temperature for every department is fantastic.

Only complaint is the ice maker won’t stop making ice and it piles up in bin then when you open freezer drawer a few cubes fall behind it and won’t let it close. Otherwise it’s been great and looks good.

Worth the wait

I love this refrigerator. The color is amazing. It’s not a hard dark matte black. It’s a beautiful shade of black. I didn’t get to see the color in person (no one had it available to see). I love the roll out shelf, the wood trim makes it so elegant. The water dispenser is nicely placed on the side out of the way. The only 2 little negatives are, the shelves don’t fold down if you have a tall or large container. Secondly, the motor is a little of a loud hum. But I am so happy with it, neither of those two things bother me. Have only had it 3 weeks but definitely recommend this product. Getting the rest of the matching appliances tomorrow.

We Love It!

For perspective, we have been using a 17 CU refrigerator since we moved into our house in 2020. Our old refrigerator was the standard refrigerator on bottom and freezer on top. It was in a very awkward location in our house and the door didn’t open fully which meant we couldn’t use both the bottom drawers. It was something that drove me really crazy. I looked quite a bit before purchasing this fridge. Because we had to change the location in a small kitchen, we wanted something with French doors to limit how much swings out. And because I’m lazy, I wanted the refrigerator on the top and freezer on the bottom. I absolutely love the arrangement on this fridge. It feels roomy. Offers excellent organization. I wasn’t sure about the pull out shelf (in photos there’s charcuterie—that’s def not a daily staple for us), but it fit eggs and yogurts conveniently. I was impressed the door could hold two two gallons of milk on a shelf. We did lose space in the freezer, but we have additional freezer storage in our basement so that was less of a concern. During the holidays, I was able to fit baking sheets in to chill items prior to baking. <3 Someone on another site mentioned this fridge is loud. It does have a specific “hum” when getting down to temperature. It’s not a constant, but I can hear it when it’s on. That said, overall this was such a significant upgrade for us and we absolutely love it.

Overall, I’m really happy with this counter-depth French door refrigerator. It has a sleek, modern look that fits nicely in the kitchen without sticking out too far. The interior lighting is bright and makes it easy to see everything, which I really appreciate. I also like the internal water dispenser because it keeps the outside looking clean and simple. The fridge feels spacious and well organized for a counter-depth model. The only downside is that the ice can sometimes spill over, which is a little annoying. Other than that, it has been a great refrigerator so far.

High-end fridge, inside and out

This is my first counter depth fridge so it took a little bit of adjusting to. This fridge has a sleek look and fits nicely in our space and with our other appliances. The wood accented drawer makes the interior of the fridge look higher end. The indoor water feature is one of my favorite options and gives the outside front of the fridge a clean look. The shelves and drawers adjust and move nicely. A couple of suggestions to help improve functionality would be to have to full size shelves fit to each door, so both doors don’t need to be opened to pull them out. A little space might be lost but it would be a worthwhile feature. The temperature adjustment buttons are located at mid level of the door and I find myself inadvertently touching them upon opening, so moving them up or down would prevent unwanted changes made. Finally, the ice machine could use a sensor to help stop ice production when the bin is full. I find it keeps making ice, which eventually spills under the door, and I am manually turning it on/off depending on our use. Overall, we are happy with our purchase!

The refrigerator is beautiful, sleek and loads of room compared to my old side by side. I have had it now about 6 months. Operates really well and quiet — except when the ice drops in the bin. The design of the ice bin needs tweaking. When the bin is full, the ice loads higher in the back of the bin. When you open the freezer and pull out the drawer to access ice, it will jam or push ice out the back of the freezer and often out into the floor from the bottom of the freezer. Also had one freak experience accidentally turning on the demo feature which turns off the cooling to the freezer and refrigerator. Another tweak in design is needed for the controls on the door which can be changed by your arm opening the doors of the refrigerator. Having said that, I still love the refrigerator! My produce and fruits (actually all foods) maintain freshness much, much longer than old refrigerator .

Great features!

This is a great fridge. There were very few fridges on the market that had the interior water dispenser that you can use with just one hand. That feature, along with the colored interior, and ice production sold us on this fridge. So far we have no complaints other than the fact that the ice make is starting the struggle on keeping up with our family, no other fridge has stood a chance so we still highly recommend this unit.

The exterior brushed stainless and large round handles are nice looking and well made. The bottom freezer has ample storage and a sleeve for pizza boxes is nice. The interior water dispenser provides more storage in door. No problem with the temperature. I do not like the cheap interior plastic walls and thin plastic drawers. The pull out tray is a nice feature. Humidity and preservation drawers are roomy. Overall, I’m pleased.

Great capacity. Shelves on side of door can adjust slightly for different sizes beverage containers. We don’t use the temperature adjustment tray too often but it’s great for storing larger items. Noise isn’t noticeable except when making ice. Water spout can be awkward when filling larger containers. Otherwise it works great.

I made the right choice. I love this fridge and how seamless and beautiful it looks without the water and ice on the door. I changed from a standard to a counter depth fridge and I haven't had any issues fitting everything I need in the fridge. The size is perfect for us, a family of 4. It keeps everything nice and cool and I have noticed a huge difference in how long my fruits and veggies last in the drawers. I love it.

Best fridge I've ever owned. Storage space is fantastic. Even has special compartment to stand frozen pizza in freezer drawer. Pull out shelf we use for containers filled with salad ingredients. Just pull out and make your salad the way you want it. Seems we never run out of ice either, bin is always full. Hope it lasts forever.

The capacity is impressive especially since it is a counter depth. The outside aesthetics are sharp with a nice print free stainless finish. The temperature seems to be spot on and all groceries have stayed fresh. The only reason it was not given 5 stars is that the inside water dispenser continues to leak and we have been waiting 3 months for the replacement part. Unacceptable for a new refrigerator. Once that is replace I expect it will deserve 5 stars.

We replaced an 18 y.o KitchenAid side-by-side refrigerator. Though the capacity of this newer one is a bit smaller, the french door layout is very accommodating. Digitial controls took a bit of getting used to but having pantry controls is a nice feature.

All good except for wide pantry drawer

Very happy overall with this refrigerator. The capacity in the freezer and refrigerator is more than adequate for a family of 3. The water dispenser works well (unless you turn on sabbath mode, which is easy to do accidently). Having the pizza box sleeve next to the freezer door is very helpful. The ice is quick to produce and nicely shaped. The major disappointment has been the wide pantry pull out drawer in the refrigerator section. The drawer will not stay on the track and is constantly needing to be adjusted, to the point I'm avoiding using that drawer. It seems like the wheels are not wide enough and slip off the track.

Great except for one design flaw with ice maker!

Mostly very happy with this refrigerator. Happy not to have external water and ice dispenser that no one can every use except the owners who know the refrigerators "touch". Internal water dispenser is great. Love the size of ice cubes and speed, but when you open the freezer drawer, the ice bucket has to pull past the maker above it and it scrapes the top ice cubes backwards. It's new and not sure the sensor to stop making ice is accurate so I turned it off when I left town, and turned back on with no problem.

I love the narrow depth and the various draws in the fridge that keeps everything visible and accessible. The ice maker is limited and problematic. There is only one type of ice, large and clunky. The ice maker sits too close to the ice bin, so often, it knocks ice out of the bin into the abyss behind the freezer and one must get on the floor to remove it.

We bought this fridge about a month ago and it is just perfect! There is more than plenty of space inside, and the switch to inside water and ice dispensers was a wise choice considering the bad rap on (and our previous experience with) outside dispensers. The extra space in the fridge gives the freezer slightly less room than our prior LG model, but not enough to matter unless you're bringing home a deer carcass from hunting. It wouldn't have fit in our LG, either.

I really like this refrigerator — it has a great design, runs quietly, and responds quickly. It works very well overall. However, the user manual is surprisingly poor. It’s hard to believe that in an era of detailed electronic PDF documentation, KitchenAid (Whirlpool) still provides a generic manual that covers many different models. For a new user, it becomes difficult to know which sections actually apply to your specific refrigerator. A good example is the WiFi feature. After spending a lot of time reading the manual and trying to set up the connection, you eventually discover that your model doesn’t support WiFi at all. Clearer, model‑specific documentation would make the experience much better.

I purchased this KitchenAid primarily for the sale price. I love the grey interior and the lighting. I was not thrilled with the grey shelf with fake wood trim but it has worked out ok and the wider door shelves and lots of space in general is great. I did not realize it came with the red handle ends and I am not fond of those. One problem: the alarm does not function. After being opened for 10 minutes, the only thing that happened was the lights went out.

Bought this counter debt style and love it. The water dispenser being inside the fridge and the ice maker in the bottom freezer, frees up space inside the fridge… deep shelves inside the doors can hold a gallon of milk. Shelves are all adjustable. Love the shallow slide out shelf for my avocados, oranges etc….

Great looking refridgerator

We have owned the unit for over a month, and we really like how it looks. It is quite flexible regarding how the shelves can adjusted. A few issues have occurred: The internal water dispenser continuously dripped water from day one. We followed the instructions in the owner's manual (collect 3 gallons, while cycling 5 sec on and off). This stopped the leaking. We also had an issue with the lower deli drawer. If heavier items are placed at the back of the drawer, it will fall off the track and get jammed. By moving the heavier items to the front, the problem went away. However, this is a frustrating design flaw.

New kitchen aid 3 door fridge

It’s a very nice looking French door fridge, it’s a counter depth model, lots more room than my old LG, my only two issues , the doors don’t close easily, they need to be pushed with intent. Second the ice from the ice maker when you open the fridge door falls behind the shelves. Kind of a pain in the as-. But that said over all we like mostly everything else.

LOVE IT...BUT...

I'm thrilled with my new fridge. It's easy to organize my perishables and the counter depth means I don't have to "dig" to find things that I'm looking for. BUT... there are no instructions how to adjust the temp in the fridge or freezer, other than touching the icon on the door (which I bump on a regular basis). If I touch the fridge button, it only RAISES the temp and there are no instructions on how to lower it. I would appreciate any updates to the "quick start" that will help me maintain my temp settings. I've touched the LOCK for 3 seconds, but it doesn't lock, so I'm out here on a limb.

We've had this refrigerator 2 weeks now, and so far it has been a big improvement on the old one. I particularly like the layout of the shelves in the refrigerator section. However the freezer section is pretty small, and not many options for storage. This is our first one with no water/ice in door. I like the clean look this provides. Getting water from inside is not as awkward as I suspected. Only one issue I wish I had noticed before buying....the electric cord is much closer to the bottom than the old one, so I had to make other arrangements for plugging.

Quiet and beautiful refrigerator

We've had this refrigerator for almost a month. It replaced a high-tech Samsung FLEX refrigerator that stopped cooling after three years of service. What a waste of money! After some serious research, we purchased this refrigerator and, so far, we are completely satisfied. Yes, it is a little noisy when getting a glass of water or when it makes ice; but, we'll ignore that all day long if it last the 10 to 15 years of service we're hoping to receive.

We had an LG that just didn’t seem to keep the unit cold and was full sized. The Kitchenaid counter depth offers 24 cuft of space and is very attractive. We especially like that it doesn’t have the water/ice in the door adding to its attractiveness. Being counter depth has added some much needed space in the kitchen. The interior space is flexible so it can be adjusted to individual needs.

When you open the doors, there’s plenty amount of light… easy to find what you’re looking for. This refrigerator looks great too.

Love our counter depth fridge. So far we don’t have the water connected. Wish we could buy touch up paint in the mat black in case of accidental scratches. It does show hand prints so im trying to figure out what cloth to buy and what products work for that. Tad disappointed about freezer space. Will need to either vacuum save meats or get another small deep freezer (or just buy meals for the week which I’ve been doing).

I was hoping the bottom freezer door would open and operate better then earlier models. However, it is just the same. I was excited about the moody color interior, but I now think white interior compliments food. Lastly, I had forgotten that counter depth is not truly counter-depth. They should really call this size slim or something more accurate because the doors extend beyond the counter 4 - 6 inches. I do love the interior water feature and always enjoy the KitchenAid brand as being elevated and long lasting.

The ice maker solenoid is extremely loud and annoying. The drawers seem chimpsy for the look. Looks good but drawers just function weird like theyre not aligned right. Don't know how to fix since there's no brackets. Really like the fridge though.

One glitch is that when the ice maker in the freezer is full, overflow ice falls behind and under the freezer drawer (but still within the freezer).

PROS: this is a great looking refrigerator. I like the pullout charcuterie board-looking tray and the tray for wine, deli, etc. Shelves are well made and feel substantial, which leads to...CONS: fruit & veg drawers and door shelves are made from plastic that seems thin and brittle. Just waiting for them to crack. Also, the actual depth might be an industry spec but this refrigerator is NOT counter depth and sticks out only 1-2" less than my last one...

Doors are hard to close. We’re used to easy closing magnetic sealing doors. If you don’t push these shut hard, they aren’t closed. The finger slots on the produce drawers are on the bottom instead of the more logical and easier top location.

So Far, Blows Away the GE Profile Refrigerator

This Kitchenaid fridge does everything I wished the GE Profile refrigerator could do. Most importantly, it keeps my food cold in the safe range based on the temperature I set on it. The GE Profile refrigerator in my first hand experience, didn't do that. This Kitchenaid fridge makes ice great whereas my GE Profile needed to have the ice maker replaced but was still inconsistent. The Kitchenaid works as the manuals say it will. The GE Profile did not. It's a bonus that the interior of the Kitchenaid seems to have more usable space and is easier on the eyes. The Kitchenaid interior reached the temperature I set in 3 hours out of the box. The GE profile struggled to reach that temperature in spite of many service calls. Of course only time will tell with any appliance in terms of reliability. I've only had the Kitchenaid for a month. But so far, it's making us happy.

This refrigerator looks beautiful in my kitchen and sets a lot closer to my cabinets than my last one. The platinum interior and wood- like shelf look very nice. The updated interior water dispenser is very convenient. The big door bins hold quite a bit as well as the large crisper drawers and deli pantry. The door pocket in the freezer is also a nice touch to store either frozen pizzas or small things you don't need as often like ice packs.

The fridge is great! However the top doors are extremely light weight making them feel extremely cheap. The fridge is a little noisy as it’s running and the ice maker is fairly loud when refilling the ice tray with water. Additionally, the ice bin is poorly designed when it fills up with ice it gets overfull so when you pull out the bottom drawer ice cubes get knocked out the bin and fall behind the drawer and you can’t get them out.

A couple of issues.

Refrigerator was bought in October. Although the ice maker works fine, there is an issue with it filling up the ice bin a little too high. When we open the bottom freezer to get ice, ice is pushed out the back of the bin and falls to the floor area of the freezer. We have to open the freezer door completely and reach in to remove the overflow ice. The ice maker was replaced in kind but it still is experiencing the same problem. I have notified the certified appliance repair dealer. Hopefully they will follow up with the engineering group with Whirlpool. Also a replacement right side door is on order. Our refrigerator has a small ding on the lower portion.

Received our new refrigerator almost two weeks ago now and love it! Very roomy and cools as expected. My only concern is the ice maker. It makes so much ice thatvwhen you open the drawer sometimes ice fall over the back edge into the bottom of the freezer area. Difficult to get to for removing the stray cubes. We will just keep trying to keep the ice moved to the front of the tray. For now, I’m just turning it off when it’s full.

We love the features it has and the unnecessary frills it doesn't. The water dispenser works easily with one hand and the ice bend capacity is quite large. Our new KitchenAid refrigerator is perfect for our needs.

Love our fridge so far! Looks great inside, very clean aesthetic. Ice cubes are a fun pyramid shape! Only complaint is that the doors aren’t quite heavy enough to close on their own when you give them a push y close. You have to physically close them yourself vs pushing them and assuming they’ll make contact and close all the way. We’ve accidentally left them ajar a few times by thinking we’ve closed them and did not close them all the way.

An attractive upgrade for our kitchen!

We have been using our new KitchenAid refrigerator for less than a week, but so far this is a great ownership experience. It is so much of an appearance upgrade from the old black, basic model Maytag that it replaced. It was functioning well but was really outdated. We went with the internal ice maker as we wanted the sleeker exterior look and we are happy with this decision. I like the cubes that it makes and there is good storage space in the freezer section. We were attracted to the lift out tray in the refrigerator section, but we have not tried to use this so far. Here's a summary of what I like: * internal perimeter lighting * spacious look * versatile storage options for food items (bins vs. shelves, etc.) * easy to access controls on the edge of the left door * option for the vegetable preserver (we have not discussed purchasing this yet) * handles are attractive, and we like the fact that they are used on the other KitchenAid appliances we purchased * fit and finish seem to be of high quality * the brushed stainless finish should be attractive for many years to come * preset temps seem to be spot on * we really like the Black Friday pricing!

New line took a long time for parts

we have the refrigerator approximately 3 months for the ice maker stopped working. it was a complete failure and we needed to order a new part. because the refrigerator is so new because the refrigerator is so new, took over a month to arrive. so with our new fridge we were reliant on our old fridge to give us ice. additionally on the side of the door it's very easy to change modes to the Sabbath mode, and this turns off all function and lights. Overall the looks at great, but the function for us have been average. Not sure how I recommend this line at this time. Wait list is long and so are the parts if you would need them.

Beautiful Fridge, just wish I has a working freeze

I love this fridge. Everyone that see's it complements how nice it looks. It doesn't show any finger prints or smudges. The only issue is I haven't had a working fridge since we had it installed. The freezer is cool but not cold enough to keep anything frozen. It's going on a month and a half and we are still waiting on a backordered part which we don't know if that is the issue.

Looks amazing, some poor design choices and more

This is our second unit. The first one's water dispenser broke within 5 minutes of use. Second units water dispenser had a constant drip and required an immediate repair. 2 brand new refrigerators, both with immediate water dispenser issues. Ergonomics are questionable. Control panel is on left door, which is the same side as water dispenser. People open the door with their left hand and hold water cup with the right. The left hand regularly engages the control panel (touch pad). Sabbath mode has been accidentally engaged numerous times due to this. Ice maker fills ice bucket too high. When you open the freezer drawer the ice maker knocks off the top layer of ice, which falls behind the drawer. Be ready to get on the floor to retrieve the ice cubes before they melt. Other than that, it looks amazing and the refrigerator section is very roomy.

Although it works perfectly fine as a fridge there are some design flaws that are head scratching. Mostly the ice maker. Why in the world isn't there a shutoff when it's full? At least some sort of flap to keep the ice overflow from being pushed out of the back shelf down into behind the shelves. I'll never understand how a product can go through endless R&D and no one notice or care about something like this. Also it seems like having the deli drawers the same size as the outer doors so that you only have to open one door when accessing one side would seem obvious. I know it's a little thing but you did ask for my opinion. One more thing, after about 2 weeks all of the electric inside the unit zapped out for a day for no apparent reason then just as mysteriously turned back on and has been on ever since. I sure hope this is not a problem in the future.

We bought this about a month ago and absolutely love the color and the overall look in our new kitchen. However the quality is disappointing. We’ve owned a KitchenAid in the past and that’s why we chose another one for our new kitchen. The deli drawer especially is frustrating. It often shifts and comes off the track. We also already have a service call in for someone to come and fix the water dispenser. When flushing down the first time, it simply stopped working. Not what we expected from KitchenAid.

My first Kitchaid

I bought this during a black Friday sale for a kitchen remodel in January. I delayed the delivery and am just now getting to use it. I like the spaciousness and inside water dispenser. Ice machine works great but I manually turn it off to prevent overflow. I thought I would like the offset bigger veg drawer but it requires me to open both doors to utilize which is an energy waste. I also feel the drawers are too flimsy for a Kitchenaid. I’m thankful I don’t have children trying to manipulate them. The interior is beautiful but not as durable as I expected for the price. I ordered it online. I am also unsure of how to used/ understand the display panel? Manual is vague and describes varying panels not like mine. Not sure I would recommend? Although it does look nice and coordinates with my other appliances.

Nice Refrigerator,But…..

We chose a KitchenAid refrigerator because we initially replaced our dishwasher with a KitchenAid unit and absolutely love it so, our intention is to eventually replace the stove and microwave with K/A units. The new refrigerator has plenty of nice storage on the doors, shelves and pullout drawers. The clear plastic bins and drawers give it a clean and spacious look versus typical solid white bins and drawers. The only drawback that is very disappointing is the icemaker. When the icemaker calls for water, it is so loud and distracting that we had to turn it off on Christmas Day as we had company visiting and it was embarrassing to hear that water filling the icemaker. We have since kept the icemaker off as the noise sounds through, not only the kitchen, but the dining area and family room also☹️. At this point, I probably would not recommend this refrigerator to a friend unless it turns out that there’s something wrong with our icemaker or KitchenAid can remedy the problem via a design change.

Disappointing for the brand

We expected better from the KitchenAid brand name. The refrigerator itself, so far, is operating as expected. Our frustrations come mostly from the instructions and the inadequate customer support. Nowhere in the manual is there a useful explanation of the in-door control panel’s functions. There are no detailed and clear instructions on how the temperature settings are adjusted. Nor is there a description on how the icemaker determines whether the bin is full. When contacted via the web site’s texting facility, the CSR (AI?) was also unable to explain how the icemaker prevents bin overflow. We’re also disappointed in the shelving height options. The optimal shelf arrangement is approximately a half-inch short for standard one-gallon milk jugs. Why wasn't that considered by the design team? We’re also not impressed by the limited bin height options within the doors. We’ve also been stung by the silly ‘Sabbath’ setting, which is probably useful to less than one tenth of one percent of the customer base. Yet it is prominently inserted into the confusing control panel. We can only hope that the product lasts as long as we would expect a KitchenAid appliance to reliably function.

This refrigerator has a beautiful exterior and interior- although the interior is not designed for maximum use. The temperature controlled drawer does not stay on rollers I ended up removing it - constantly locking up. The odd pull out tray in center also uses up valuable shelf space and not really functional. the freezer drawer makes terrible noise every opening and very small size. the “pizza” slot is waste of space precious freezer space that can’t be used Crisper drawers are flimsy and small I miss my old refrigerator!

Don’t recommend

Unfortunately I do not recommend this refrigerator due to the ice maker. The ice maker has broke non-stop since I’ve purchased this fridge. I’m down to using ice cube trays as I constantly have to order a new ice maker unit. It’s had to be replaced 3 times and takes a month to receive a new one. My fridge is under a year old. Disappointed in the quality and regret this purchase. It’s been a pain as I have to keep on taking off work for the repairs. Wish it was better as the rest of the fridge is great.

Poor early performance

After 100 days of use, went into "cooling off" mode - after resetting the fridge and cooling rusmed, the icemaker broke. The tray/form mechanism became dislodged from the icemaker, rendering the freezer door unclosable without removing the top tray.

Hoping to see great things

Replaced our 20yr old KitchenAid with a new model in February and have enjoyed the new features. Up until this past weekend when it stopped dispensing water, cooling and freezing. Only thing happening now is it lights up when you open it. It’s been 5 days and still waiting for warranty service. Really hoping this isn’t the new standard for a formally great brand.

AWFUL FRIDGE QUIT WORKING

I received delivery on April 3, 2026. It is May 20, 2026 and the refrigerator is not cooling. The design of the ice maker is HORRIBLE. Ice is constantly falling to the back of the freezer and when you are in your 60's it is not easy to get on the floor to retrieve pieces that have fallen. Was very happy with this fridge until it quit working after a little over a month. I question KitchenAid's quality of workmanship as it is obviously NOT what it used to be. The user manual ABSOLUTELY SUCKS also.

Junk hidden behind fancy color

Pretty disappointed with this fridge and the KitchenAid brand. The new color is very cool and sets it apart from other typical black, white and stainless appliances. That's where the positives end. The thing is a cheap fridge with a fancy color wrap. The sides are cheap looking black that you expect on a budget item, it really takes away from the higher end look of the juniper color. The water dispenser is extremely loud and leaks intermittently. Since it is in the fridge you don't know if it is leaking until you open the door. The ice dispenser just plain sucks. It is even louder to fill the ice tray than the water dispenser. It makes a screaming noise for about 10 seconds to fill. The dumping of the ice is also extremely loud. For a fancy looking fridge, the sound proofing is non-existent. The worst part about the fridge is that the ice maker fails to register that the bin is full. It constantly overproduces ice, which leads to spilling ice cubes behind the drawer or onto the floor routinely. Those cubes that fall on the floor will obviously melt and destroy our wood floors if we don't catch it in the moment. This is unacceptable. For being a counter depth fridge, the space available is generous, so I guess it has that going for it too. Definitely won't be recommending this product to any friends or family that say how much they love the color.

Big Mistake

I really regret buying this refrigerator. The ice maker is ridiculously loud, and then it stopped working less than 60 days in. The audible door ajar alarm stopped working too. The freezer drawer ices over. The back top shelf of the fridge freezes food (@ 38 degrees and no the freezer is not overloaded). The service call for the ice maker was on 2/26. It is 3/30 and I do not have an ETA on when this will be fixed. I've called multiple times, it's been "escalated" whatever that means but nobody can tell me when I can expect to have this fixed.

Run don’t walk from buying this refrigerator

A little over a month old and the icemaker completely stopped working! Went into Sabath mode and would not come out of Sabath mode! Entire refrigerator turned off. Could not get it to work Kitchen had three different repair men come out to try and fix it. They did not have a repair manual they could use! Then when the third guy ordered a new ice maker they said the part was on backorder. I’ve now had the refrigerator for a little over two months with no icemaker and it continues to go in and out of Sabbath mode! Why in the world does it have a sabbath mode? If you don’t want refrigeration on the Sabbath why can’t you turn it off yourself? Very, very, very disappointed in this refrigerator.

I was very excited when I purchased this refrigerator. I researched and thought I made the correct choice. I was wrong. Victim of poor design and faulty equipment. 1 day - defective ice maker. Call the warranty office. Very nice, polite, understanding people. They put me in contact with a local repair company. Horrible scheduling, unreliable technicians and my brand new refrigerator is still not fixed ! Avoid this brand. It's not worth the headache.

Ice machine makes screaming noise and drops ice..

The ice making mechanism is flawed by design. Two issues: 1/ Makes a crazy high frequency noise any time it automatically disposes ice... which last for 10-15 seconds but is so loud it wakes you up, 2/ the ice drawer is flawed by design - as you pull it, ice drops from the bucket and falls everywhere outside.

Disappointment

I'm not happy with this purchase. The dimensions are the same as my previous refrigerator but it's storage capacity is so much smaller. Especially the freezer space. The ice maker is poorly designed. When the ice reaches capacity, the ice falls out of its storage container and lands on the bottom of the freezer. It's impossible to reach the bottom of the freezer to retrieve it. Ice maker is also very loud. The settings are on the side of the door and are very easy to accidently push. I've turned the refrigerator on "Sabbath" several times which turns off the ice and water feature. On the plus side, I do like the beverage pull out tray in the refrigerator and the doors provide ample storage for bottles, etc. but still would not recommend this.

I purchased this a couple weeks ago. Very sorry I did. Drawers do not all work smoothly. Pulled the freezer drawer out to check on the ice and I watched some fall back, but where does it go? You can’t reach back there, I guess time will tell. One evening my wife opened the refrigerator door and no lights. I called kitchenaid and of course no after hours. So I looked on line and the useless manual. So the refrigerator went into Sabbath mode. To do that you have to push a button on the inside of the door and holds for 3 seconds. So not like you could do this by mistake. So why did it go into that mode. Worse will it do it again. Still don’t know how to adjust the temperature. If I could go back I would not have purchased this refrigerator.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Beware. Cheap interior materials. Door handles misaligned. Drawers don’t close properly and worst of all interior water dispenser drips constantly… water pooling inside. Problem started day one. Warranty service unreliable- rescheduled multiple times after no show. Don’t bother spending more for this product. (Owned many KitchenAid products - this is the worst) Lastly- what genius puts the control panel exactly where your hand will swipe every time you open and close the door. Constantly changing the settings.
