  1. Very good refrigerator - bad control placement

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

This refrigerator does a great job of keeping things cold. The only problem I have is that the temperature control is on the outside, on the top right hand corner. As this sits on a shelf unit, accessing the control is very difficult - both to see and to adjust. The marking on the control doesn't help to identify which way is colder. Since adjusting a refrigerator is always time consuming - adjust it and wait, repeat - until it is at the desired temperature, this is really inconvenient.

  4. Quiet and spacious

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This fridge is very quiet and fits nicely under a desk. The fridge can fit two 4 L milk jugs with room to spare. This was a good purchase.

  5. Great fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

The Danby mini fridge has been a game-changer—compact, quiet, and surprisingly spacious for its size. It keeps everything consistently cold, looks sleek enough for any room, and runs so efficiently you barely notice it’s there. Solid build quality, no fuss, just reliable performance. Highly recommend for anyone needing extra cold storage without the bulk

  6. Long Lasting Refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I have purchased this refrigerator to replace the same exact fridge that just died after 8 amazing years of “beer fridge” service. We keep this fridge in the climate controlled basement of our rv to keep beverages and water for easy access while we are outside. If this refrigerator lasts us as long as the original, which I feel it will, we will be happy campers (no pun intended)

  7. Great product. It replaces a similar Danby that I had in service for approximately 35 years. No issues.

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent for small spaces. The shelving and door storage is well laid out to maximum space.

  8. Perfect size

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Bought this fridge last week and couldn't be happier. It's quiet, it's the perfect size, and it has tons of room inside. Thinking of getting another one for my garage.

  9. Compact Refridgerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I have purchased 3 window air conditioner units and now a compact refrigerator. I have learned that these are quality products, made in North America and not overseas. The refrigerator interior is well designed with drink can holders in the door, deep shelves.

  10. “ Drinks are in Danby.”

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

This is our second Danby. The original one lasted 13 years, which I hear is good longevity.

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

CONSTANTLY HAD TO DEFROST OLD REFRIG BECAUSE IT HAD A FREEZER SECTION AND WE USUALLY HAD WET MESS TO CLEAN UP IN GARAGE AT THE LAKE. DANBY IS GREAT. NO FREEZER SECTION TO DEAL WITH AND MORE BEVERAGE HOLDING CAPACITY.

  26. COLD !! & Quiet

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Seems every small refrigerator I've ever had makes a bunch of racket, but the Danby, aside from being a heckuva refrigeration unit, is QUIET. Nice, considering it sits about 2-3 feet behind my office chair. I'd definitely recommend that you use a thermometer, as it will definitely freeze you Pepsi's (lol)... Bottom line: You might pay a couple of bucks extra for the Danby, but I highly recommend that you bring one of these home.

  27. It's a great small fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Shelves are adjustable to accomodate taller items holds much more than you think for it's size. Just the right size for my office. Holds it's temperature. I would purchase the same fridge again. Price was good.

This little fridge has worked in my cube wonderfully! So many co-workers have commented on it being the perfect cube fridge. No icemaker to take up space. No need to defrost!! And large enough to share with cube mate.

  31. Danby Designer 2.6 Compact Refrigerator

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

This fridge is just what we wanted.. we wanted something for upstairs... we put it in our office and load it up with water and soft drinks.... just the right size... don't even know it's there...

  32. Keeps freezing half of my things..

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

This fridge was great for the first few months but now it keeps freezing random items in it. It's strange because the placement doesn't seem to matter, just certain things freeze and some don't. My carrots turned into tiny ice nuggets and my milk is a giant carton of slush. Not fun. Don't recommend (unless you like eating the icy versions of your favorite snacks, of course).
