Love it and it's BEAUTIFUL!

We've only had it for a few weeks, but so far, so good.I It is so beautiful and WAY better than the 3 yr old competition's refrigerator that failed. I LOVE the lighting! One would think that with a dark blue interior that it would be hard to see, but it's not. I'm not exactly thrilled that the shelves on both sides are not adjustable, but it's my own fault that I didn't notice it at time of purchase - it may or may not have been a deal breaker. There's a large gap between the shelves on the refrigerator door, so I've ordered an additional shelf; unfortunately, it's been on back order for well over a month and isn't expected to be available for another month or more. Very happy with this appliance and will definitely consider this brand when purchasing other appliances.

Energy efficient refrigerator, great quality with durability. I am able to control the temperature range for my fruits and veggies. It contains lots of storage space for all my grocery shopping needs. No noise at all.. I love the blue outline on the inside. I couldn’t wait to take a picture to share!

Sleek design.

Upon arrival, my first thought went to the design of this fridge. It’s a gorgeous fridge. Love the color and how sleek it is. It’s quieter than I thought. I barely hear it throughout the day. The fridge does get really cold, which I like! But it’s not extremely cold to the point that it freezes your food. Storage is so-so. I think because it’s a side by side fridge it doesn’t have the same capacity of others, but it’s not a negative for me. Love the sleek lighting inside the fridge. Water and ice dispenser works well. The settings are easy to change - I appreciate the fact that the buttons are on the outside of the fridge instead of inside.

The Maytag side by side refrigerator has a sleek appearance and includes awesome features like a measured water dispenser. This refrigerator keeps my food consistency cold from top to bottom and is extremely energy efficient. I also enjoy the soft lighting interior for late night snack breaks.

Great fridge! Huge freezer space

Initially, I thought that the fridge space wasn't enough when I transitioned from my old fridge. But once everything was placed, there was more than enough. The power cooling option is a big plus! There are quite a few features that make this fridge stand out. But the nicest option is in the freezer. The ice maker is on the door. This makes more room in the freezer. Huge plus! The stainless steel gives this a great appeal as well

Sleek design

This fridge is beautiful and sleek. The lighting is beautiful and so is the blue interior. I have plenty of storage since it has more drawer than a usual side by side. It runs very quiet with the exception making ice. It was ice cold within 12 hours of delivery and already making ice.

Maytag, you hit a home run here!

Maytag makes some of the most sleek looking appliances. I love the handles on everything and how they do not curve in the ends. This article blue interior and glass shelves are to die for. None of my other refrigerators kept temperature in the freezer like this one does. I love the size of the ice cubes and the bucket that holds them. It has a handle that pulls it out for easy access. Way better than having to remove the ice storage unit. I’m in love!!

I’m loving the the Arctic Blue interior. Also fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish keeps it looking clean without constant wiping. The in door ice dispenser frees up a lot of space . Which I love because of the limited kitchen space so that worked out, I can say the ice machine is a bit noisy but not too bad . I’m still trying to figure out the temperature control setting on the fridge but all and all it’s a really good refrigerator that I love .

I received this refrigerator for free in exchange for my honest opinion. The exterior looks nice and modern with the stainless steel and digital information center. The handles are very sturdy and allow you to easily grip and open the doors. The refrigerator regulates temperature well and can be adjusted from the exterior freezer door. It is quiet and makes very little noise even when making ice. There is lots of light provided by numerous led strips throughout the interior of the refrigerator and freezer. The glass shelves look thick and durable. There is lots of storage space for various food items. The ice maker and water dispenser work wonderfully and you can pour measured amounts of water which is very convenient. The counter depth feature maximizes space and makes the kitchen look neater. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade or replace their old refrigerator.

This refrigerator is absolutely beautiful! STUNNING in person! This stainless steel fridge is truly fingerprint resistant and has withstood the test of my 1 year old’s sticky little fingers not even leaving a print. I love the blue interior! It’s so different and creative. The interior color really makes my produce look fresh and makes the color of the food look more vibrant as well. It also has beautiful lighting that slowly brightens when you open the fridge so you don’t instantly get blasted in the face with a bright light. It has great features like digital temperature control, cubed ice, crushed ice, power freeze, power cool and a water dispenser. I love how the ice box is on the door because it frees up more space for me to store food on the shelves in the freezer. You can also remove the ice compartment and pour ice directly into vessels that are too large to fit under the dispenser. I love cooking so I’m constantly cooking for my family of 3 and this refrigerator has SO much space! I can load up on groceries without worrying about if there’s space in the fridge or if the freezer is going to fully close. In this picture, most of the food (with the exception of a few items) were in my previous fridge with no extra room to fit anything else. I transferred these items from my old to new Maytag fridge and look how much more food this fridge is able to hold compared to my previous FULL SIZED fridge. My old freezer literally could barely close without me stuffing things down in it to get it to close. These same items fit comfortably in my new freezer with room for more. And I can see everything !! No hidden food all the way in the back. And crazy enough, this fridge keeps my produce fresh longer because of their cooling technology! And this same technology and air circulation helps prevent food in the back from getting frozen! Another important feature that is all of the settings can be changed and adjusted directly on the refrigerator control panel and I don’t have to download and use an app to control the settings!!! This is an all around great fridge. The design team and product development team DEFINITELY put a lot of thought into this fridge. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s on the market looking for a fridge! 5 stars !!! I’m blown away! I am so proud to show guests my refrigerator! When people come over I say “ look at my refrigerator…now open it up!” to hear “oooh… ahhh… wow! ” in return lol

I'm really pleased with this 36-inch counter-depth side-by-side refrigerator. The sleek design fits beautifully without sticking out, and the Arctic Blue interior lighting adds a modern, upscale feel every time I open the doors. Great refrigerator!

Love the refrigerator so far. The lighting is great. The noise is minimal, it’s very low- you can hear it, but it’s not an annoyance. It’s easy to control the temperature, it cooled and froze my items quickly. The fridge portion has a good amount of storage. I do wish the freezer had more storage, but it’s still an excellent fridge.

Wow! This refrigerator is AMAZING! the interior lighting is so perfect. The lights don't flash on. They gradually increase in brightness so that your eyes can adjust. The layout is perfect for a lot of storage. There are so many draws that are adjustable and/or removable. The unit makes almost no noise at all. It fits perfectly into the area in my kitchen designated for this appliance. It has a sleek modem look. It's perfect for our home. One of my favorite things is that the ice tray for the dispenser is on the door. In my last fridge, the ice holder used up so much space in my freezer. This unit allows you to use much more of the space in the freezer and the cool section.

I DO like the ease of accessing items in the freezer but I found that the first week I used it, some of my eggs froze in the fridge side. I've never had eggs freeze before. The temp went from the preset 37 and 0 for freezer to 42 for fridge and -2 for freezer. I unplugged it for about 10 min and then turned it back on to reset it which seemed to work, although it still does fluctuate a few degrees for both sides. Good looking appliance.

We really like this refrigerator, it is well laid out and easy to use. One thing that surprised me is the inside is dark blue! When I saw that I commented to the delivery person that it might make it harder to see what's inside and he said it might make the contrast more apparent. He was right and it really does make it easier to see.

My new refrigerator is great. Didn't know if I'd like the blue interior but it is better than the usual white. Love the ice bucket on the door even though I have to remove it to turn off ice production. It is easier to do than my previous GE unit.

Impressive Refrigerator

I had to purchase a second refrigerator due to someone else moving into my house. It looks sleek with both the silver exterior and the arctic blue interior. It is truly fingerprint resistant and even looks futuristic on the inside with the blue and the lights starting out on low and rapidly increasing to their fullest brightness. I love the fact that the ice maker is in the door so I have more room in the freezer and that it shuts off automatically when it's full. The selections on the freezer door are easy to understand, although I would like the light to come on automatically by a sensor when you put a glass under either the ice or water dispenser, as the pad does not automatically light up when it's in a "sleep" mode, and you can't find the "Light" icon in the dark. I've only had it a few weeks, but I am impressed with the quality! It runs fairly quiet, as well. And the freezer circulating air with the refrigerator is a great feature too. I also like that it has an air filter, as well as, a water filter. I also bought it because of the 10 year warranty on the compressor. With the experience I've had with it over a few weeks, I would highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have had our new fridge about two months now and are very happy with it. The only complaint I have is the high moisture content in the freezer. Almost everything freezes to the shelves. It took a lot of moving things around to figure out the different temperature zones in the fridge. A few things froze in the first week so we had to do a lot of moving around to figure that out. I used a remote sensor thermometer to help with this process. I found a great spot to keep our beer and coolers really cold.... Well worth the time to do this process.

Good, but 3 small issues

Fridge keeps things at perfect temp. When it runs, it’s not very quiet. Water spout sprays a bit. When scratched on the inside, it’s very noticeable. Besides those items, it seems to be a good fridge. I’ve only had it for 2 weeks, so I’m hoping it proves to be a good fridge that runs well.

This is a replacement, the first one I got did properly. A circuit board was replaced and still not good. I lost three batches of food and has it took several months for the replacement. This one seems to be working better.

Refrigerator with Arctic blue interior stands out

I like this refrigerator a lot, in particular the Arctic blue interior. So far the cooling functions are working well. I wish there were more options for the external color, since almost every refrigerator these days is stainless steel, which doesn't always fit well with every kitchen design. I also would like a better idea of exactly how the ice maker in the side by side freezer door actually functions, since it's not clear to me how the mechanism senses when the ice bin is full enough to put a hold on making more ice. I don't understand how the sensor arm in the ice compartment works to do this. The printed owner's manual is not at all clear about this, and so I'm not sure how to know if the ice maker is actually working correctly.

GREAT Fridge but ....

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really love this fridge, I really really wanted to give it 5 stars but there are issues. The sizing diagrams on the website and the manuals (there are two, one for installation) have serious conflicting information. There are two widths one is the actual fridge width one is the space cut out required. They fail to mention this. On the left top on the Freezer is an ugly banner strongly attached that advertises the 10 year warranty. As it turns out and confirmed with Maytag, it is not meant to be removed and removing it will void any warranty for the door. I tried to attach a picture but sending pictures wasn't working on this website/form. If you use the power freeze option, the water line will freeze and it takes sometime for it to thaw after the feature finishes/complete. Liquids in the fridge side and stored on the left top shelf on the left side wall, will freeze solid. The manuals are poorly written and the dispenser information and instructions for use and very wanting and are just a sheet of paper The dispenser info/use is not in the manual at all. Just the sheet of paper. The light for the water dispenser has a mind of it's own, if you turn it on it makes a great night light and will stay on if you don't open the door and/or dispense ice or water it turns off and in the dark it is imposable to read the button labels as they are not illuminated. My fridge was missing the air filter. Customer Support is easy and very effective from the real person chat box on the website and they sent me a filter. It was couriered and I had it in a few days. The instructions say to remove all Styrofoam packaging. DO NOT remove the Styrofoam inset in the Air Filter housing. It is part of the support for the filter. There is nothing in the manual about that. I was suspicious of it and customer service told me not to remove it and I'm glad I didn't "listen" to the manual. It makes a lot of noise in the first 24 to 48 hours as it adjusts and acclimates. DON"T put food in it until it finishes it's internal setup. That is normal and explained in the manual. It's a beautiful fridge, looks fabulous. The adjustable shelves on the inside door are very flexible to adjust and change and hold a lot of food. The lighting is outstanding and the water filter and air filter are really easy to install. Would I buy it again, yes.

Disappointed

I really like the size and the blue interior. I was really excited about the ice dispenser and crushed ice however it broke the first time we used it. The Maytag repair man said the model is so new he can’t even get the parts needed to fix. I have no idea when it is going to be fixed. It’s a little disappointing that you purchase a new refrigerator and it breaks right off.

The interior is sweaty, freezer frosts up. I don’t like the glass shelves in the freezer, items freeze to the glass shelves. The interior lighting is nice. Very cheaply made. All in all it’s ok, but some features are just plain impractical.

Terrible Product

We have had this thing for less than a month and come to find out it did not come with any filter and the ice machine has already broken. Your product is highly disappointing and if I could go back in time, I would have never purchased. Highly disappointed in Maytag and will not be recommending to anyone.

Don't recommend

The small drawer does not move well, I've tried everything to make it right. All food on the left hand side of the fridge freezes since the "airflow" is on the left hand side. Most cups don't fit under the ice/water on the door. If I had to buy a fridge again, it would not be this one, it is already on the smaller side and I can't use the entire left hand side of the fridge. The only thing the fridge has going for itself is the pretty interior which is what sold me but regret that.
