Good choice.

After a year with this fridge, I decided to share my experience. I really shopped a long time before deciding on this one, and I am happy with my choice. I had a noisey Frigidaire side-by-side with door dispenser for 17 years before this. Compared with my new one, I don't miss it. This one is so quiet I don't hear it running (my hearing is not great). I had to adjust to opening the door for water or ice, but the trade-off is worth it. The 26 cu ft space is amazing. I never struggle to fit more in. The smudge-free SS finish is surprisingly effective and very easy to clean. Also easy is installing, adjusting shelves, opening and closing doors and drawer, changing filters. I did take a while to adjust to the three-door layout, but that too was worth it. I will mention some of the negatives here, so you know I am sincere. It does stick out 5.75" past the counter plus handles (or the door bangs the cabintry). The ice system is slow and a bit stuck together. The controls are not easy to figure out. Despite these drawbacks, if a tree fell on it today, I would buy another one just like it.

Great refrigerator with a lot of room

We’ve had this French door refrigerator for a couple of months and really like. There is so much room (27 cu ft) that for two people looks empty. It’s nice to have so much room for products. The one aspect I didn’t like was the water spigot inside the refrigerator but find that the water comes out very quickly so the door isn’t open a long time. I still would have preferred it in the door like my one refrigerator had but can live with this minor setback. I don’t like ice in the door so this refrigerator is great that the ice maker is in the freezer portion. All in all we are quite pleased with this LG refrigerator.

Roomy, sleek, functional. This fridge is only 3" wider than my old fridge and it can fit so much more! I didn't really care for a built in water filter but now I love that I have ice all the time, filtered water is out of the way and the filter is easy to change. The interior is very roomy and can fit all of my weekly groceries, food prep and left overs. The side door can fit 8 bottles of 1.5 liters bottles each side! I don't know how everything fits but I'm super happy with my purchase.

Love the Style

This is our second LG refrigerator, overall, we are happy with it. We have had an issue with the ice maker, but it is minor. The counter depth style has plenty of room for storage of all our food and I like the sleek design and fingerprint resistant stainless finish.

Awesome French door refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator to replace our old one that was 16 years old. This one is so much larger and holds so much more than the old one. We wanted one that dispenses water from the outside of door but no ice and could not fond one. This one dispenses water from the inside, which I don’t like; but, the water comes out very quickly which does make me happy. The shelves are deep and moveable and the doors hold a lot more than our old one. The freezer is deep and holds quite a bit of food. The ice is made quickly and we seem to never run out. The ice is in cubes and and fits into a tumbler easily. all in all very happy with this French door refrigerator .

Stayed Cool During 8-Hour Power Outage!

After Hurricane Beryl hit Houston, we lost power for 4 days. Deer meat somehow leaked from the freezer and... yeah, we had to replace an old Whirlpool fridge that came with the house. As a replacement, we bought THIS exact LG fridge from BestBuy. I just confirmed the model number "LRFLC2706S." Today, we had an 8-hour power outage. We made sure not to open the fridge nor freezer during this time, but after the power was restored, I opened the freezer and expected to find water in the ice tray and liquid ice cream. To my surprise, the ice cubes were still solid! Everything in the fridge was fine. Nothing had to be thrown out. I was extremely worried about the cost of having to replace everything in the fridge and freezer. We JUST did that last July for the hurricane. It cost us hundreds... So, yeah. This fridge just won me over for a 5-star review. Highly recommended! I couldn't be happier. Quality matters.

Have owned this fridge for about a year now and so far it has been excellent. We love counter depth size. It fits great in our galley style kitchen but the interior space is still excellent! The freezer is bigger than most which is great because we do a lot of meal prep so need to be able to store weeks worth of meals in the freezer. Also love that it beeps if you accidentally leave the door open. Would definitely recommend this fridge to anyone that wants a space saving option without losing interior space!

Fridges cold food storage is amazing!!

Had for several weeks now and am loving this fridge. Previously had a side by side which I hated. Not wide enough especially on freezer side, and ice maker would jam up and either just keep falling out onto floor or get stuck. Even though may be a minor inconvenience to get ice out of freezer totally out ways previous ice issues. Have to open fridge to get water dispensed. But once again a minor inconvenience but very acceptable. Does allow a very clean sleek look of outside of fridge. In order to use all shelves available I did buy a couple shorter pitchers where the taller ones did not fit. I love the larger capacity in the doors. This is where the taller jugs of juice will fit. A bit of adjusting to the different style, French doors, drawers that either can open while one door open and one longer drawer you must open both doors of fridge to access. Fortunately we have a deep freeze in garage and have become spoiled by having that room for freezer items so I’m afraid that the freezer storage would be difficult for all the snack foods, ice creams, meats, etc. that I like to keep on hand at all times. If your good at staying organized and keeping your freezer area in check you could manage with the space available. This has nothing to do with the fridge itself, just my experience once it was delivered and installed for me. On wheels and kept moving when I opened doors. I had to unscrew the foot pedals and make them reach the floor so it would not move. Not sure if necessary but I cut a small piece of rubber matting, the drawer liner material, and placed under the pedals for extra support in not moving. Has worked perfectly. Also, the protective plastic sheets and tape is on everything and everywhere. Be careful when removing from shelves. I would highly recommend removing shelves to take off if your installers did not do that already. Shelves are slightly heavier so was hard to pull off tape wrapped around while in position and I was afraid I scratched back wall trying to pull off tape and the shelf started to fall, my fault, shelves are very sturdy, when I wasn’t prepared for that. Just a heads up. About a week later I actually found another small piece of tape on inside edge of door. Didn’t cause problems, I’m just saying to look everywhere. The whole outside of fridge seems to have a plastic sheet and I have not removed yet. Is not noticeable since fits so snuggling. Actually good that I did not notice and did not remove especially right away because my door was hitting a small magnetic box I had always placed on the side of previous fridge that never caused issues but since this fridge is not as deep was hitting door when we opened it and that’s when I realized plastic sheet protectors. That was good because my mistake of placing that item there and would have scratched. Even though I said not as deep as previous side by side fridge the setup of this fridge for all cold items is amazing. I actually have extra space so do not let the depth deter you from buying if you see the difference of standard depth verses cabinet depth.

Accessories needed

We really like our new LG REFRIGERATOR, it’s big and has a lot of storage capacity, I’m giving it 4 stars because of two things. First, the inside the door shelves need size adjusters. To hold items in place better and section them off by type, I love to be organized. Second, I’m actually not sure if it’s our water, but the filter is not giving us very good tasting water and our glasses get a film on them that they didn’t before with our filtered water from Crystal dispensers at our local grocery store. Thanks about all I can say, we will be purchasing more LG products. We really need a dishwasher. Thank you, Julie Freccia

I am so excited to say this is an awesome refrigerator❣️ This is the first time to try a “Counter-Depth” appliance and I am shocked to see how much more room we have in this 27 sq. ft. size vs. the 26 sq. ft. size we just replaced! It will fit in the new built in place we are building for it and now I will have more cupboard space where my old refrigerator was! It works great from the get go, and with the new phone ap as an information and safety source, it was not a great hassle to learn how to run. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would DEFINITELY refer it to others.

We bought this to replace an existing cabinet-depth fridge - from a different manufacturer - that died. What we immediately noticed was, even though it was the same exterior size, it was significantly larger on the inside. We did a little research and discovered the LG capacity was 7 cubic feet larger! My wife and I have a hard time filling it!

Got the fridge 3 weeks ago, due to its high rating by Homes and Gardens as the best overall model in 2023. Clean outside appearance and more storage space, thanks to the water dispenser being moved inside. Stainless steel door surfaces a welcome change, good for using magnets. Freezer door handle turns an upward angle when pulled, making it easer to open the freezer. Overall an excellent refrigerator. Highly recommended

I bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago and it has exceeded my expectations! Even though it is only slightly larger than my previous side-by-side, the layout allows much more storage. I like having the water dispenser inside the unit as well. The finger print resistant finish is one of my favorite features. This appliance is so easy to clean and keep clean! I enjoy all the features including the "alarm" the lets you know when you've left the door open or ajar. I would highly recommend this refrigerator!

Cold and bright

Very usable space inside and very well lit. I like that it is quiet most of the time. We did have a little time where the refrigerator wouldn’t go below 50F and found that a wrapper had fallen and was blocking a vent. Once the offending piece was removed, the refrigerator has worked flawlessly since.

Excellent product! The refrigerator looks good on the outside and works well on inside. The cooling temperatures are reliable; the seal is tight. The shelving works well functionally (e.g. vegetables and fruits) and in the doors (utility). It's quiet and has every indication of a strong compressor. The LG app is helpful for settings and diagnostics. Highly recommended!

This counter-depth fridge has a great deal of storage, is very functional, and just works. Oh, and my wife loves it! It is louder than our previous fridge and doesn’t keep the temperature quite as consistent. The latter may well be due to it not being filled as fully as our previous fridge. We’re getting used to the water dispenser being inside the fridge. Having to open both drawers to access the bottom pull-out drawer isn’t ideal, but the design is understandable. Our last fridge, from another manufacturer, was fancier, but it only lasted eight years. Let’s hope this one goes at least eight.

I couldn’t pick a suggested review topic. All of them are spot on! I purchased my first LG refrigerator back in 2025. I loved it so much, I got another for my second home. It’s quiet, does a great job of cooling & freezing, there’s so much more room than my previous fridge, & it stays consistent. The pull-out freezer & double doors above are roomy & easily accessible. In the fridge part, there’s no need to move things around because you can see what you have. I’m saving money & energy with these 2 new appliances, which is a wonderful, added bonus. Highly recommend!!

Good, Lousy Instructions

The refrigerator works fine and had a good price. Instructions are terrible. I couldn't lower the temperature to 33 degrees based on the instructions. Luckily, I found the fix on the web. You have to set the temperature then pull the plug for 10 seconds. I wonder how many think they lowered the temperature but didn't. The conspiracy side of me makes me think it was hidden on purpose.

Slight Flaw (probably insignificant)

Overall, very good refridgerator with only a minor insignificant flaw. That is the upper tray in the freezer does not stay in and always comes out half way such that it interferes with the bottom tray and one cannot load or remove items easily. Minor difficultly but when in a hurry it could be bothersome.

Nice, but Print Proof not Worth the Money

The fridge is great. I purchased a Thermo Works thermometer to measure inside temps of fridge and freezer, it holds temperature well. There’s lots of space in the fridge. The print proof is just a clear film applied over the stainless steel that still leaves marks. Ours arrived with the film already peeling up at the edges. It got progressively worse and ended up removing it completely as it looked so bad. Luckily it didn’t leave the SS surface sticky. The unit looks much better in my opinion. We’ll also be removing it from the LG dishwasher.

We needed to replace a counter depth unit and were amazed by the interior space of this beauty! 27 cubic feet is huge! I love the sleek look of the 3 door unit, and love the "hidden" water inside the refrigerator segment, and the ice maker in the freezer drawer is totally convenient! Deep door shelves hold everything! Excellent use of space. Found the price to be another win for this excellent unit!

I have had this fridge for a month now and am very happy with the design, the space and the ease of cleaning the front of it (due to the finger print resistance). There is so much room in the door shelves and that allows more organization overall. A gallon of milk and two half gallons sized containers can fit in the bottom door shelf. It's so easy to see everything on the shelves and the freezer is soo big! I am very pleased with it. The only slight negative is that the doors have to stick out a little more to clear the pantry and wall on either side of the fridge but that is worth the trade-off to me. Also, note that most counter depth fridges are a smidge wider these days but that didn't create a problem for us.

Incredible space efficiency

We bought this fridge after a builder grade KitchenAid fridge died. We had some apprehension about LG fridges but read all the great things about their new compressor. I was stunned by the on paper capacity of this counter depth fridge and man it does not disappoint. Way way more spacious and functional door storage makes this fridge incredible. It’s simple. No door ice which is good for reliability. Doesn’t have custom humidity for crispers but I’m okay with that. The space space space makes up for it

We bought this at Best Buy and have had it for about 6 months now. I absolutely love it!Pros:- food genuinely keeps for longer, I think the humidity stays really low. For example, we always have mushrooms in our fridge and they now keep for TWICE as long as our old (Samsung) fridge- the condiment shelves are MASSIVE! One of the reasons I didn't want a French door way back when was bc we're a condiment home. These baskets are absolutely huge and they hold a TON.- It's really easy to keep clean. Because the shelves are so spacious, it's really easy to use organizing bins and keep clean.- It really is counter depth but note it sticks out like 1" more than our old fridge that was true counter depth.- it's like a FULLLL size fridge. I had no idea how much smaller our counter depth side but side was until I got this. Even the salespeople didn't believe it was counter depth bc of it's cubic capacity.Cons:- There isn't a tall enough space to stand a wine bottle. It's no big deal though bc you can just lay it sideways. But at the beginning you may need to adjust to the new layout.- The doors feel like there's no substance to them. They're not necessarily worse quality from what I can tell, but they're so light. In the beginning I kept flinging the door open by mistake bc I was used to the amount of force I needed to open my old fridge.- The interior water dispenser - you either love it or don't. I personally don't like needing to open the door to get water, say, while I'm mid cooking. But the pro of this is the door looks clean and sleek.- freezer bins are DEEP. I ended up getting 4 bins to stack like "drawers" inside the lower part of the freezer bc otherwise you'd have a pile of stuff that's like 16" deep.- I wish the top freezer drawer pulled out like 4 more inches. It pulls out less than the door so you can't easily get at things that are at the back of the drawer. Read more

Meets most of my needs

Old fridge died so got this one. It’s a good fridge for the most part. The water filter is leaving some charcoal in the water but when I called, they sent a new one for free. The other problem is the ice in the freezer freezes together into a big ice chunk so I have to completely empty and start over. I like everything else. Lots of room for everything, adjustable shelves. The holders in the door are big and store a lot of stuff. The ones at the bottom are hidden and I almost missed them although they’re not good for much except maybe small cans. I also wish there was a separate section for the butter. But overall, I’m happy with my purchase. I do like the online link for questions and information although sometimes I need help figuring out how to do some things.

For the most part I am very happy with my LG counter depth refrigerator. We’ve had a couple of issues however with the icemaker getting jammed and we had to get a replacement cover for the air filter as it was the incorrect one for our model however it was replaced very quickly and with no problem and that was good.

Cannot locate a bypass filter for this model

Only have the fridge a couple days, this is left of a review and more of a question for the community or LG to respond. We have reverse osmosis, so I have no need for the water filter. In my search for a bypass filter, there is nothing mentioned in the manual, and the third party company that supports parts and accessories says the bypass filter they have does not fit this model. There has to be a solution for a bypass filter … I don’t want to buy a new filter in 6 months but also do not want to leave that filter in indefinitely. Does anyone know of a solution here?

Great capacity for a counter depth.

The capacity of this refrigerator is great. The specs. say you should have 1/4 inch on each side of the refrigerator. My opinion is that you need more. It is very tight and doesn't allow space for air flow around it. We built the refrigerator enclosure based on the specs and wish we had more room. I think LG should update the specs.

Cavernous interior and sleek looking

Our old Samsung refrigerator finally fed us up enough to look for a better replacement. We found this refrigerator at Costco, and jumped on it. We can't fill the darn thing up, there's so much room in it. The inside cold water is nice, and we like the look of just the solid stainless steel box without ice/water dispenser. It makes plenty of ice, and I like the fact that since it's wifi and Alexa enabled, I know if the door is left open. All in all, a great purchase that we still marvel over-- and yes, I know it's a refrigerator.

I have this refrigerator for about two weeks now. We wanted clean looking without a water and ice dispenser from the front of the door. Stainless steel is nice looking and stays clean. Water dispenser from inside is easy and water tastes good. Makes nice clear ice cubes of a good size. Only complaint is that you occasionally hear the ice maker. Overall love the frig. Lots of room for everything, with especially deep door storage.

Pros: Large interior space, convenient water dispenser button, exterior handle design allows for access without having to touch the face of the doors (preventing fingerprints), warning beeper if doors are left open for an extended amount of time, quiet, good lighting. Cons: Power cord on top of the unit...had to modify cabinet above it to accommodate the cord, prefer a black cabinet better than the grey so it would match LG range cabinet. Had to schedule a service call to have doors leveled. Even though it's counter depth, it protrudes more than others.

The cooling of the fridge stops - not the freezer, just the fridge. Each time we have received excellent service but it has been difficult to empty the fridge each time and keep things cold in coolers

We have now had this product for 1.5 years and it is excellent. Really like the space this fridge has and ability to handle any size item we put in there. It has performed great, keeping consistent temperature in both fridge and freezer. It is very quiet, even the ice maker is fairly quiet. The filtration must work well as really minimal food smell is noticed when opening the doors. We had always had side by side before, but so glad we got this model.

I Am Impressed With This Refrigerator

It was time to replace the 30 year old Amana which never stopped running, ever. I was a bit hesitant in shopping for a replacement since the scuttlebutt out there is that all new refrigerators are junk but when I learned LG had redesigned the compressor and backed it with a 10 year warranty I decided to go for it. I am appreciating the subtle things on it. The easy to use internal water dispenser. The always full ice tray. The solid "thunk" of the doors closing. The LG ThinQ app. The WiFi connection. Mostly, I like the design inside, very easy to arrange items and get to them. If it lasts as long as my old Amana, it will be a winner.

Improved Over Older Model

This is our second French Door LG refrigerator, first was very reliable for eight years…..except for the in-door ice maker. It never worked well, sporadic at best. This new one has the ice maker inside the freezer as God intended, and boy what a nice difference. Plenty of ice all of the time. Lots of extra space in the fridge section door pockets now, deeper too. Shelves have adequate adjustment, and this freezer just one door, not two as before. Less to go wrong, ample space, sliding inside drawers. Nice. Also did counter depth model this time, fits our space much better. Off to a great start. Very satisfied.

I gave 4 stars because the refrigerator was delivered with the French door center seal not working correctly. It was repaired very quickly and everything else about the refrigerator has been working properly. The one thing I miss is the lack of a butter drawer in the door. I have noticed that almost none of the new refrigerators from any manufacturer have this drawer anymore.

We've owned this LG counter-depth refrigerator for 5 months and we love it! No food goes to waste because the shelves are not that deep. There's plenty of space with a 27 cu. ft. fridge, and you can see everything easily. I love the pull-out drawer - again, it's easy to see everything in the drawer - nice design. The bottom freezer drawer is very spacious, and the ice maker works perfectly. I have already recommended this fridge to 2 friends.

For some weird reason, I have always had a Side by Side refrigerator. A friend talked me into the LG French Door model - counter depth. I am crazy about it! I use the wifi function - way cool (no pun intended). It is so easy to organize. Really is well planned. Seems like it holds so much more than the same size Side by Side. Works like a charm! NYTimes Wirecutter recommended the LG refrigerator. They were correct! So glad we purchased this refrigerator!

Didn't intend on buying an LG refrigerator from my local appliance store. Last time we were looking for a fridge they were more based for big box stores. This time however we were VERY IMPRESSED by the French door lower freezer. Here are the many reasons WHY! Easy to get at water and air filter to replace when needed (rarely), the SUPER DEEP crisper drawers which can hold a LOT of produce. The large drawer on the bottom of the fridge fits a good size platter for guests, or a big pizza box. The shelves on the fridge doors are amazingly huge. I would wager that they are a gallon jug of milk deep. Mostly the things we like are the interior layout which is outstanding and what has been needed forever! The ice maker is in the FREEZER where it belongs and doesn't jam up or freeze over. The drawers in the freezer fit a LOT of food. The doors are amazing, the Thin IQ connection is very helpful for filter replacement notification. Water on the inside of the door means NO MESS on the outside. Very easy to keep clean. I could go on for hours. Best part is that they are built to last and if need repair they are easily repaired. I am stoked that we have finally found a refrigerator built for the needs of many rather than the cutsy ideas of a few.

We bought this refrigerator to replace one that would not produce ice. After 3 times having a professional come out the check it out there seems not to be a fixable issue. We then purchased an ice cube make for the countertop, and it finally stopped. So we ordered the LG refrigerator and so far we are so happy with it. the shelves a so great, and the extra space on the doors is great, besides that we have wonderful ice cubes at any given time.

We just remodeled our kitchen, and swapped out our old side by side fridge for a lovely new LG French upper with lower freezer. At first, it was overwhelming... there was so much space! I didn't know where to put things! But that quickly faded as I started moving the contents of our cram-packed old fridge into our beautiful , spacious new fridge. I'm still getting used to the water dispenser on the inside. AND... the app!!!! Super cool - I love being able to customize the settings! If we are going to be away I can turn off the ice maker with the app, I can customize lighting, and even add the contents!! Overall, I am thrilled with our new LG appliances!

The Best Refrigerator I've Ever Owned

We were looking for a refrigerator to fit into an odd sized corner nook and this unit turned up at an sale price. I was skeptical that a "counter-depth" refrigerator would ever hold enough of our food, or work as well as our prior refrigerator, but I am pleased to say it has checked every box I used to judge it's effectiveness. We also switched from a black, smudge-proof refrigerator to a stainless steel model. I was not hopeful I would like it as I have family that complain of the hand prints left behind after opening and closing their appliances done in stainless steel. After nearly 4 weeks of use I can solidly say I like it much better than the black refrigerator, and keeping the finger prints at bay has been no issue at all. I simple wipe the handles down daily as I always have and I don't have anything left behind. The refrigerator is quiet running, beautiful in it's new corner, and holds sooooo much more even though we only graduated from a 26 cu. ft. to a 27 cu ft. The arrangement is just what our kitchen needed to give me more floor space in just the right areas, and more storage space in others. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would definitely refer anyone I know (or don't know for that matter) to buy an LG Counter Depth Refrigerator.

I was thrilled that there was a water dispenser inside the refrigerator, instead if having one through to door and losing all that space for the mechanism. I do not always want chilled water, but it is there when I need it and I have not lost valuable fridge space to achieve that. It is very stylish and has lots of great storage room for all my foods, condiments and drinks.

Love the refrigerator! The freezer drawers are deep and hold lots of food. Not having ice/water in the door makes for lots more space in the refrigerator. The only negative is how much noise the water intake is for the ice maker but at least it only lasts a few moments.

I choose this model because of its price, style, and storage space. This is my first LG product. I like everything about it except the internal refrigerator temperature control is not accurate. the lowest temp setting is 33 degrees, at this setting the internal is only 37 degrees. This might seem trivial to some, but I like my stored liquids to be very cold. Other that the temp issue this is a very good unit at a reasonable price.

The counter depth size is nice but it needs to be away from the back wall to allow the doors to open fully due to a side wall. The only issue? so far is the noise when water is drawn in to the icemaker - it’s much louder than expected.

Overall I like this refrigerator, but I’ve had to purchase some little plastic “dividers” to go on the deep door shelves to keep smaller items from falling over every time the door is opened or closed. This isn’t a problem if the shelf is packed with items, but if there’s space, it is a problem. I like the ice maker - it makes a large quantity of ice and is easy to use. Also the filters are easy to access and change. (Note: I had to obtain an updated air filter cover/holder to actually fit the filters, but LG was very helpful.)

After much research in counter depth French door style refrigerators; the LG LRFLC2706S was the only choice to purchase in our eyes. The LG replaced a much smaller cu ft wise counter depth frig of another brand that gave us no issues. However, the LG reviews from consumers were better than our previous brand! Very happy with the LG and find the LRFLC2706S meets and exceeds our needs.

We had our appliances installed a three weeks ago. I really like the different features, I’m still getting used to them. The microwave is wonderful, I love the extended vent, the food heats up really well on the pre-selected modes. The range and oven works well I love the different sizes and it cleans up easily. The dishwasher is so spacious and tall I can fit all my items in there. The Fridge is ver spacious.

High end look for moderate price

We are very happy with our new LG refrigerator. We love the clean look from the outside, with the ice maker and water dispenser inside. Despite being counter depth, the fridge holds a TON of food and is very spacious. Despite being a more "basic" model, it feels high end with a clean exterior look and high end finishes inside. The app is great for notifying you if you left the fridge door open by mistake. I do wish that the water dispenser inside was capable of cooling water more than it does - you do get cold water initially, but then it quickly becomes room temperature since the piping for this is located on the exterior of the fridge. I also wish that the doors weren't so thick, as they protrude quite far out from the counter depth of the actual fridge.

Great Fridge, minor improvement needed

I love the fridge, my vegetables lasts fresh for longer in this fridge!! It has great capacity and it is quiet and energy saving. Just evaluating the fridge itself, it is wonderful indeed. I just was 2 little thing to point out: (1) the nob at the bottom to balance the fridge is oddly just at the front end, I have a floor that happened to till slight from the left to the right of the fridge, and there seems to be no way to lift the back end of the fridge unless I cut a small piece of hard object to shim it myself. (2) the WIFI connection to use the app: after a few months I kept getting my fridge cannot be found, but it was still totally reading my energy usage, my door closing and opening etc, I just don't get alert anymore when I forgot to close the door. The only way to get it all correct again was to delete the device and add it back, but when I did that, it lost all my previous history.........I lost half a year worth of energy usage trend.......

Overall we are happy with our refrigerator. It seems to be running very well and gives us the addition storage we desired. One think that is puzzling is the classification "counter depth." It sticks out about 7 inches from our counters. Either our counters and cupboards are smaller than most peoples or the label counter-depth is a misnomer.

They need to stick out beyond the door opening if you have it like ours next to a walkthrough galley kitchen doorway. The water filter and air filter do seem to wear down pretty quick. We’ve had it less than six months and we’re already about to need to replace both. Otherwise we love the rest of the features including the water dispenser inside.

The interior water dispenser is a really great feature, keeping drips off the exterior of the fridge. Have only had it for about a month, but so far it is wonderful!

I was looking for a large capacity fridge because I probably have one too many condiments in my fridge that take up space so I wanted a larger fridge but I really didn't want a regular depth one because it would stick out too much in my tiny kitchen. The counter depth max fridge is perfect. I really love the deep door shelves also to put all my condiments. I also didn't want a fridge that has a beverage center so the sleek water dispenser inside is perfect for when I want some cold water. This fridge is everything I could ask for and more!

A no compromise counter depth fridge!

I've had this fridge for about 3 months now, and it's been excellent. It has a bright, spacious interior, big enough that you don't realize it is a count-depth. The door shelves are enormous, with ample space for two gallons of milk in a single shelf. The freezer is likewise spacious and well laid out. The ice maker has worked reliably and makes consistent sized ice cubes. The smart features are subtle but useful, such at a chime if you leave the door open (and a push notification to your phone if you have it set up). I also appreciate the energy monitor feature of the app--the fridge appears to run very efficiently. On top of all that the fridge is also very quiet--I really only notice it running when the ice maker is actively working.

We love our new LG Refrigerator. We didn't realize just how spacious this refrigerator is until we actually got it installed and put everything in it from our old side by side by side. We only used less than half of the space in our new LG refrigerator and it doesn't stick out from the wall any further than our old one. This LG refrigerator is really quite also, both the refrigerator and the ice maker. I love the Smart features that is available on the LG App. also. There are a lot of great features and available information on my refrigerator in the LG Smart App.

Received in early September, so it’s still very new. Not crazy about the freezer drawer, but I’m used to a side by side. I think that’s more of a preference thing. Otherwise, so far so good. LG had to replace the air filter housing, but it was very simple and they proactively reached out to me about it. Definitely good cust service there! Hope it continues performing for many years to come (like my previous Kenmore).

Bought after our old ge fridge died. The lg has the same footprint but has significantly more space and a great layout. The door shelves are spacious and hold condiments, drink cans, wine bottles, etc so the main area is freed up for food. Great ice making capacity as well.

It is extremely inconvenient to bend down to open the doors from the bottom, and there are no finger grooves on the top of the doors. While it may not seem like a big deal, it is. Corrected non-level issue.

We like this refrigerator, LRFLC2706S. Delivered in early July '25. Our son has had his about a year and we purchased the same one. Unlike our son's refrigerator, which I helped set-up for him and added a water supply hook-up in his home for the ice maker and refrigerator water, our LRFLC27062 leaned back too much. And the height of the rear wheels are not adjustable. Our floor is level. I added a block of wood under each rear wheel measuring 0.380 inches thick. This allowed me to make the refrigerator level with some adjustability forward or backward using the adjustable front foot pads. With our refrigerator now level, the doors operate smoothly when opening & closing. No more slamming of the doors when we close them. And the pull out bin in the freezer no longer glides backwards when accessing it. The installation now looks proper when the refrigerator is viewed from the side. I have read others have this non-level (leaning backward) issue. Some think it's a design feature. I do not. Again my son's LRFLC2706S, purchased little over a year ago, doesn't lean backward. I think this a manufacturing defect. The rear wheels were not properly placed, creating too much backward lean when installed. But I corrected this error and it is a big improvement.

We bought an oven and microwave as well and we’ve not noticed any dents yet. The dents on the fridge are very tiny and not in one place. LG I’d like to know why? How thin is the stainless you are using?

Nice fridge. Needed Warranty Repair.

Fridge was bought in November, 2023. In late October 2024 it produced an error code and was not producing safe, consistent temps. It took one week to get service locally. Fan and main circuit board were replaced and anf firmware update applied. So far it is maintaining better, safe consistent temps even than when it was brand new. I worry about more poroblems after warranty expires. When working properly I do like the amount of interior space and layout. It is exactly what I need. The stainless stays relatively fingerprint free unless you touch it with wet or dirty hands. It is a nice looking fridge.

Fridge design and appearance are very nice. The chilled water is not chilled, not warm, but not any colder than our tap water. The ice maker is slow. It takes more than 48 hours to fill an employ ice maker. 11 months after purchase, ice maker failed. LG sent new one free of charge, but it is still slow.

Nice refrigerator. First one that was delivered had a crack in the corner of inside liner and a crack in the vegetable drawer. The shelves are very hard to put back in once they are taken out. No dividers for the cheese and cold cut drawer. And no options for the door shelves to adjust to different heights. So ketchup bottle does not fit because it’s too tall. Also no butter shelf or egg holder.

Needs Improvement

We like LG so replaced our 20yr old refrig with this - the closest to our old model. Some major design issues, unfortunately, they've gone backward. #1. The deep doors are annoying; unless packed full, the items clank around with each door open/close. Additionally, they make the refrigerator well past counter-depth. #2. If you open the right door first, and afterward decide to open the left side also... Look out! the vertical flap on the left door will not retract and can slam your hand if it's in the way when it's time to close the doors. #3.The deli-tray: It's crazy there is a solid top across it, that requires fully opening both doors to grab something that is right there. Our old version had a flip-up lid and I may cut this solid surface off and reinstall it with a hinge. #4. Fruit & vegetable bins have handles at the bottom, so it's ergonomically inefficient to pull open, then go up and inside the deep well; why not pull from the top to start with? #5. The ice bin in the freezer quickly turns cubes into a solid mass. Not sure what's up there.

Not as cold at the setting of 38 deg, can't feel the cold air when I open the door. Door handles could be further apart, using my right hand to open the left sided door is kinda tight. Pulling out the freezer easily hits your feet, much too low. I would've preferred a much shallower door compartment and deeper indoor shelving.

There is something wrong with the bottom door freezer. It doesn’t open all the way, as if it is caught on something. I’ve tried everything the site advised and still no luck. It is not ice build up either. And when I try to get it open I have to yank it, but not too hard so it doesn’t break. So I am stuck with a fridge that has a freezer that only opens 1/4 of the way. Big disappointment. Then I had to send away for a filter part change since the new style doesn’t accommodate my fridge’s style. Inconvenient.

Most horrible experience ever…and it’s not over

The refrigerator has never worked. We plugged it in according to the instructions and it has never cooled. After several days it also began leaking oil from the compressor area. Because the unit has never functioned properly, I cannot comment on cooling, efficiency, noise, or any of its advertised features. So far LG has consistently been unhelpful. I have called 2x a day everyday, no solutions at all. Stay away.

Deceiving vent openings and poor cooling

I’ve owned this fridge for a month, and noticed it just doesn’t get cold enough in the fridge. So after some additional research and testing, only the right side of the vents actually blow air, leaving the left side a good 3-4 degrees warmer. This results in temperatures in the 40’s, especially in the door which is highly unsafe. People check the temperature of your fridge!

Upper Cabinet Doors Will Not Open

Website does not show any photos of top of fridge!  There is a box on top of the fridge that our cabinet doors will not clear!  If you have a cabinet above your fridge like most people, it will need to be high enough to clear the "box" that is on top of the fridge, right behind the doors.  Our cabinets will need to be raised about a half inch to accommodate this box so that the cabinet doors can open fully.  A photo of the top of the fridge would have been very helpful along with more clearance measurements noting what is needed for upper cabinet clearance to allow cabinet doors to open.

Freeze Shelves are a Disaster

The fridge generally worked great but after about a year, the freezer rails that the ice cube tray and pull out tray sit on became cracked. This quickly caused the tray supports that sit on the rails to crack. LG does not have replacement parts which is extremely frustrating given the age of the fridge and we're now left to have to buy a new fridge which ultimately will not be an LG fridge.

When the power goes off in the house, my compressor turns off and does not turn back on when the power is fixed. When I’m traveling, this is a real nuisance. Also, they want me to pull the refrigerator out to unplug and re-plug to start the compressor. This is a Poor warranty.

Awkward to use

I had issues with this product within 6 months of it's purchase. Most of the parts are replaced and I still have issues like sudden gurgling noise, loud ice making process, the right door not being able to stay open and occasional food freezing on the top rack of refrigerator. I had a previous LG refrigerator for more than 15 years with no issues at all. This isnt the case with my new purchase.

The product itself seems fine but the installation service was awful. They didn't properly tighten the water line resulting in damage to our hardwood floors and leaking in the basement. One of the handles wasn't properly attached and they also didn't remove any of the various protective film and tape all over the fridge.

I generally like the fridge but I have a couple of concerns. 1. The air filter says it time to change it.  Problem is nobody sells the style of air filter  that it has, not even LG.  It is the one without a frame around it. 2.  It is a little glitchy.  Every so often it stops cooling.  The power is on, lights and controller is on but it stops cooling.  I found that if I unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in it starts working again.

I think the water dispenser inside the refrigerator is a bad idea because we are constantly getting water and having to open the door is a bad idea. The refrigerator is losing cold air every time you open the door. I think it should be on the outside of the door.
