Accucold 14" Ice Maker AIWD220FLTR

Accucold operates as the medical and scientific refrigeration division of Felix Storch, Inc., a company founded in 1969 and headquartered in the Bronx, New York. Unlike mainstream consumer brands, Accucold focuses primarily on pharmacy-grade and laboratory refrigeration solutions designed to meet strict temperature control requirements for healthcare facilities, research institutions, and clinical environments. Fridge.com currently tracks 227 active products from this brand, with the catalog heavily weighted toward specialized freezer configurations. Upright freezers represent the largest category with 93 units, followed by 73 french-door models and 22 built-in units. The brand also offers chest freezers, drawer-style units, beverage centers, and dedicated ice makers, reflecting its emphasis on purpose-built cold storage rather than general household appliances. This specialization makes Accucold a notable presence in the professional and medical refrigeration space, where precise temperature maintenance and compliance with regulatory standards take priority over the aesthetic and convenience features typically emphasized by residential appliance manufacturers. For buyers seeking refrigeration equipment intended for medical offices, pharmacies, or laboratory settings, Accucold represents a focused alternative to general-purpose consumer brands.
