ACHKMay 14, 20221 found this helpful - Frustrated
Got fridge. I paid extra to have door swing reversed in my original order. Was not delivered that way. Ice maker already not working. They came since out to fix door and icmaker but they didn’t have parts to swap door and pressed a reset button told me all good. Still door swings wrong way and ice maker doesn’t work. So very sad. So many words calls steps but still no resolve.

Brand Background
About Midea
Midea stands as one of the most significant names in global appliance manufacturing, operating as a subsidiary of Midea Group, the world's largest home appliance manufacturer and a Fortune Global 500 company. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Foshan, Guangdong, China, the brand has built its reputation on delivering functional refrigeration at accessible price points. Fridge.com currently tracks 43 active products from Midea, spanning an unusually diverse range of categories including chest freezers, top-freezer refrigerators, compact units, upright freezers, and french-door models. This breadth reflects the company's strategy of serving multiple market segments rather than specializing in premium configurations. Notable models in the Fridge.com catalog include the MRF18B4AST french-door refrigerator and the MERM33S1A compact unit, both among the most frequently monitored in the brand's lineup. Positioned firmly in the value tier, Midea competes primarily on affordability and availability rather than luxury features, making it a practical consideration for budget-conscious shoppers, secondary refrigerators, or garage and basement installations where cost efficiency takes priority over advanced technology.
