How We Score It
Gathering the reviews
We continuously collect owner reviews and public discussions from major retailers and community forums, de-duplicate them, and set aside anything we can’t tie to a verified purchase.
Calculating the average
Averaged across every source we found (Amazon, AJ Madison, and other retailers). Each source counts in proportion to how many ratings it has, so a store with thousands of reviews moves the number more than one with only a handful.

Great addition to our bar area. Seamlessly fits in with the decor and has an excellent ice capacity.
Makes ample, well-formed cubes, doing so with much less noise than the machine it replaces. Door accepts a cabinet face, giving a built-in look.
this is our second/fourth Kitchenaide ice maker (my dad had 2 also). the last one died per the technician due to a “main board” going out. Anyway, we tried a Koolsomething that made the “nugget” ice. Not good for whiskey and NOISEY as all get out. Cheaper but it got sent…
Had KitchenAid appliances installed in our new construction home and we love the ice maker so much.
Convinced? AJ Madison has it for $2,998
