Haier 28" Counter Depth Bottom Freezer Energy Star 15 cu. ft. Refrigerator HRB15N3BGS

Reviewers consistently report that this model holds significantly more food than expected for its size, with many noting it stores as much or more than their previous larger refrigerators. The efficient shelf and drawer configuration, combined with the bottom-freezer design, maximizes usable space and makes organization easier than traditional layouts.

Most owners report this model operates very quietly, with several specifically praising how silent it is compared to their previous refrigerators. A small number of reviewers noted occasional compressor sounds or unique noises, but these are not widespread complaints.

Yes—this model is specifically designed for compact spaces and consistently receives praise for fitting perfectly in small kitchens and apartments. At 28 inches wide and 27 inches deep (counter depth), it opens up floor space while providing ample storage, making it ideal for galley kitchens and tight layouts.

Yes, the doors are reversible and can be configured to open from the left or right. The unit comes with included hardware to make this adjustment, and several owners have successfully changed the door swing themselves.

This model features a bottom-freezer design with pull-out drawers rather than a single door, which most owners appreciate for organization and reducing cold air loss. However, some reviewers note the drawers don't pull out very far and can be frustrating for accessing larger items or the back of the drawer, and a few wish for a full drawer design instead of a door-and-drawer combination.

No, the freezer compartment does not have a light. Several owners mention wishing it had one, though most note visibility is still adequate and this is a minor inconvenience rather than a major issue.

While the majority of owners report satisfaction, a small number of reviews describe compressor failures, cooling issues, or electrical problems occurring within 3–5 years, with some noting difficulty obtaining replacement parts. However, these issues appear in a minority of reviews; most owners report the unit working well for years without problems.

No, this refrigerator does not include an ice maker or water dispenser. One owner specifically chose this model for that reason, citing concerns about leaks from previous refrigerators with these features.
