How We Score It

Gathering the reviews

We continuously collect owner reviews and public discussions from major retailers and community forums, de-duplicate them, and set aside anything we can’t tie to a verified purchase.

Calculating the average

Averaged across every source we found (Amazon, AJ Madison, and other retailers). Each source counts in proportion to how many ratings it has, so a store with thousands of reviews moves the number more than one with only a handful.

What owners say ★★★★★

“I have an old house with a small built in fridge space so a garage fridge is just what i needed. The really nice thing with this one is it SO very quiet and the freeze area is all divided up nicely no longer having to deal with a freezer cube where things just get lost on the bottom and the freezer is nice and spacious too which was hard to find.”

Owners Answer

The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet. See the spec FAQ below for the official numbers.

Is this refrigerator quiet?Based on 9 owner mentions

Yes, multiple owners consistently report that this model operates very quietly. Several reviewers specifically note they barely hear it running during the day, and one owner who switched from a Bosch model found this Frigidaire to be noticeably quieter.

Will this refrigerator fit in a small or narrow kitchen space?Based on 9 owner mentions

Yes, this model is specifically designed for compact spaces. At 23.6 inches wide and 72.8 inches tall, it fits well in narrow kitchens and small apartments. Multiple owners report successfully replacing larger refrigerators with this unit and finding it holds more than expected despite its slender footprint.

What are the freezer storage options like?Based on 6 owner mentions

The bottom freezer features three separate drawers that owners consistently praise for organization and accessibility. Reviewers appreciate the spacious layout and the ability to dedicate drawers to different food types (meat, vegetables, bread, etc.), making it easy to find items without things getting lost.

Does this model have adjustable shelving in the refrigerator section?Based on 2 owner mentions

The refrigerator section has limited shelf adjustability compared to some other models. A few owners note this reduces flexibility for organizing items of different heights, though most reviewers do not mention this as a concern and are satisfied with the overall layout and storage capacity.

Can the door hinges be reversed for left-hand or right-hand opening?Based on 2 owner mentions

Yes, the door hinges can be switched to open from either side. However, one owner notes that an additional fee may apply for this service, and another reports that the instruction manual for this process was unclear, so it's worth contacting customer service for detailed guidance if you need to reverse the hinges.

How does this refrigerator maintain temperature?Based on 6 owner mentions

Most owners report that this model holds a steady, consistent temperature and keeps food fresh well. However, a few owners note that temperature distribution is uneven—the top shelves run warmer than the bottom—so items like milk products are best stored on lower shelves. One owner reported difficulty achieving the target temperature setting.

What special features does this model include?Based on 6 owner mentions

This refrigerator includes a chill drawer and fresh/crisper drawers for produce and deli items, allowing separate temperature control for different sections. The model also features a door alarm that sounds if the door is left open for more than 30 seconds, and glass shelves that are easy to clean.

Are there any reported issues with door sealing or water leaks?Based on 1 owner mention

One owner reported a freezer door that did not seal properly, causing water puddles under the unit. This appears to be an isolated case, as it is not mentioned in other reviews. If you experience this issue, warranty coverage is recommended to avoid high repair costs.

Very nice refrigerator
We have only had it a week, but so far the refrigerator is working great. Our space is narrow, about 24 inches wide, and it fit perfectly. Holds a lot.

This 12 cu ft fridge is AWESOME!
U have been a longggggg time Frigidaire fan....almost all my appliances are this brand and if they aren't, I have been replacing the old ones with Frigidaire when they give up the ghost. This particular refrigerator is a small kitchen space dream come true. I love the slum but tall design and the freezer on the bottom. I went from a 28" W fridge to this 23" fridge without any lacking space issues. Everything fit from old fridge to new. Plus I cannot believe how quiet this new fridge operates... it's barely an audible hum. Looking forward to reduced electrical costs too. Thank you Frigidaire for thinking about those of us with smaller kitchens. Great product, great company!

Beautiful slimline look. Fits perfectly into a smaller space.

I chose this refrigerator because it checks off everything I want in a smaller refrigerator. The freezer space is more than I anticipated with three drawers—one for meat and fish, one for frozen vegetables and one for bread. The refrigerator door holds all of my condiments, leaving plenty of room for the usual items. In addition there are two drawers for fruit and vegetables. And the sleek design fits nicely in my home.

Perfect for us
Perfect size for us and our home. It's slender and tall design is just right for our compact kitchen. Plus, it's quietness and efficiency is an added bonus.

Perfect for small spaces
A huge improvement to the tiny fridge I had with a top freezer. I had to squat down to see in to it. And the freezer doors hold so much more than my tiny top freezer did. The fridge part also hood way more and is nicely organized. In my situation I could not go wider so it made perfect sense to taller. I was so happy to find something that fit the narrow space I was working with. No complaints!

Already impressed, much better design and function than my last refrigerator. Very happy.

Second refrigerator
Purchased for our addition for overflow and convenience Excellent fit for small space. Great buy.

I like it.
Exactly what I ordered. Everything I thought it would be. Not at all happy with the tracking. I had no idea where it was and nobody could tell me. Then it was here. Oh well. And now this silly form won't let me use my name. So call me Fred. Now Fred is already used. Call me Shirley. This is ridiculous. This form won't let me post a nickname. They have all been taken. How about Happy Sailor?
