    Old (9+ yrs): ×1.4. Medium (4–8): ×1.15. New (0–3): ×1.0. Reflects compressor and insulation degradation.

    Cost = kWh × rate

    Annual cost = annual kWh × your rate ÷ 100. Monthly = annual ÷ 12.
