  1. DOOR PANEL DOES NOT ATTACH

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

DO NOT BUY! It is nearly impossible to figure out how to install the cabinet panel to the fridge. A complete nightmare. It makes absolutely no sense. Between my cabinet designer, AJ Madison and my cabinet installer no one can understand or figure out how it’s done. Now I have a fully custom kitchen with a missing fridge panel. I may have to rebuild the entire refrigerator cabinet it’s insane.

  3. mistakes to avoid in luxury kitchens

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

I purchased the Bertazzoni 24” panel-ready refrigerator (REF24BMBIPNV) through AJ Madison, and I want to share an important detail that is NOT clearly explained on the product page. This model uses a sliding panel system, not a fixed panel system. As a designer and cabinet professional, this makes a big difference during installation. The sliding system requires: • additional clearance between panels • lighter panel weight • precise alignment and tolerance If you design or build cabinetry assuming a fixed system (which is common in higher-end refrigerators), you will likely run into installation issues. The product itself is well-designed and aesthetically very clean, but the lack of clarity in the product description can lead to costly mistakes, especially for custom cabinetry projects. My recommendation to future buyers: Always review the installation manual in detail before designing your panels, and confirm whether the system is sliding or fixed — do not rely only on the website description. Overall, a beautiful appliance, but better technical transparency would significantly improve the buying experie
