Spacious and easy to clean!

Beautiful fridge! I was really happy to see how spacious it is inside, the layout really is optimal for storage. It took me a minute to get used to opening it from the left versus right side but not an issue. Super easy to clean, the trays are easy to remove if needed. The freezer seems to be working great as well, and if you want you can either compartment to be a freezer or fridge. The only minor complaint is that there was a very strong smell upon first opening it, not so much chemical but very strong plastic.

New favorite adult fridge!

Love the flexibility we now have with this 50/50 flex. It has quickly become our favorite way to keep our beverages cold. Fits perfectly as our new garage fridge & we’re able to have it next to our freezer with no issues. Definitely a must see!

This refrigerator is amazing! The fridge came fully assembled; all I need to do is take it out of the box and plug it in. It has 3 different cooling options, which are very helpful; it can be half cool, half freeze, all cool, or all freeze, depending on needs.

Perfect multifunctional fridge/Freezer for both kitchen and garage

The Midea 50/50 flex is perfect for both indoors and the garage! With 3 different settings: Fridge/Freezer, Freezer/Fridge, and Freezer, Freezer, you can customize this wonderful piece to your liking. If your Fridge is in the house and you use your freezer more than your fridge, you can set the fridge at the bottom, allowing for more space as a Freezer and convenience. With Midea providing a top and bottom fridge instead of a side to side fridge, it allows for more space for your groceries without having to purchase larger fridge that might not fit in your home space. As for installation, all it took was plugging it in, putting the mode in your preferred setting (Mine is Freezer Freezer because it is in the garage), removing all the tape and Styrofoam, and letting it cool. The hardest part of set up was taking it out of the box. The company makes sure to secure the fridge to prevent damage. How long does it take to cool? We plugged it in freezer/freezer mode (only mode that can be used for garage) and we felt the cool after opening it 10 minutes later. I would highly recommend this fridge to anyone that wants a fridge/Freezer that had multiple functionality. Just think, if your fridge were to go out in your home, you could take the one from the garage, change the setting to fridge/Freezer or freezer/fridge and your all good to go.

Great fridge

We were able to move the door to the left easily. We opted for refrigerator setting on both the top and bottom. We downloaded the app and it was easy to change the temperature. The shelves are spacious and sleek. I also really like the stainless steel.

The best fridge/freezer combo!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Midea 50/50 Flex refrigerator. As soon as I plugged it in, the temperature began to cool the inside. I was able to put items in the fridge within an hour. I have the top used for refrigerator and the bottom for freezer. There are many features that makes it perfect. You can freezer/freezer or fridge/fridge… etc! It is just amazing!! I love it!!

I love the versatility and design of the freeze. It is very spacious but the freezer space is limited. You can use it as a freezer and fridge combo, freezer/freezer combo or fridge/fridge combo. It has nice shelves to maintain every type of grocery. It doesn’t make any sound and chrome finished look makes it more fantastic. It has a great maintenance of temperature and keep the food good.

Love this fridge! Tons of space. We currently use this as our garage fridge, but it will also work perfectly for the main fridge. The smart features are an added bonus, but the best part is being able to use this as either a freezer or a refrigerator or both. Have used this for weeks without a single issue or complaint. Excited for all of the extra space to freeze soups and store meals!

Instant garage upgrade

10/10 recommend! This is a replacement garage fridge for us and I can’t love it enough! We chose too use it as 50/50 split but the fact that I could have a full freezer or refrigerator is an interesting concept. We plugged it in and by the end of the day it was already at temperature but we waited a full day before stocking just in case. The design is sleek enough it could be in the kitchen which is a step up from our old garage fridge that wasn’t made for the garage temperatures.

Great option for those that need refrigeration

I love the flexibility this offers in options. You can make it all a freezer, all a fridge or a fridge/freezer combo. We needed to replace our 1980’s stand up freezer with an energy efficient freezer that also has auto defrost. Those things weren’t available back in the day. We turned everything to freezer on the model 50/50 flex. It’s big and spacious. Allows more room than our older freezer. The door shelves are nice because nothing can slide out and fall. The lighting in the top half is great. The lower one is lacking. It’s there. Just not as bright because it’s not inside. You can connect WiFi to it for the app and set a time to defrost. We did not know that it is automatically set to 4 hours defrost a day which was a problem because we couldn’t figure out why things were defrosting. My only complaint which regarding that is, there is no option to change that auto defrost of 4 hours. It allows you to make another schedule but not remove that. So we just turned that schedule off and will manually set a time it needs defrosting. It also does not beep to let you know if a door is not shut fully which my 1980’s freezer had. Having kids sometimes they don’t shut it properly or if you go to open one and shut it it slightly kicks open the other one. So we just check to make sure both are shut when walking away. It’s sleek and modern and perfect for a garage or inside the house. Easy to clean. There are no handles to it though nor grooves for your fingers to open. All in all we’re happy with this. It’s light and easy to move. And no more ice build up. Which was a pain prior to this model.

This fridge freezer is perfect we recently bought a deep freeze and tbh I didn’t like it because it frosts up easily. This came at the right time to replace it. It doesn’t frost and is now in my basement taking over the duties of the deep freezer. The app is very easy to use, the unit is whisper quiet, it is large but for a basement unit it’s perfect. The shelves are a really good size and the lights are very bright which is good. I would highly recommend this fridge freezer

I love this flex fridge freezer!! I plugged it in and cooled down in an hour and half. I love that I can change it from all fridge to fridge on top and freezer on the bottom or all freezer with just a push of a button. I don’t like that there is not a light on the bottom portion but it’s not a big space so that is fine. Lot’s of storage area in the unit. The handles are built into the bottom and top of door which takes a lot of getting used to.

My husband and I are head over heels for this fridge/freezer. It is 10 X better than we could have imagined. You can use it as a full fridge, a full freezer or a variation of the two, whatever you need for the moment, with the touch of a button. It is garage ready and weather proof so you don’t need to worry about hot summers or cold winters. If you are having a party and need more fridge space simply change the settings for both zones to function as a fridge. If you are an avid hunter, like myself and my husband, and need more freezer space for meat it is perfect for that as well. The stainless steel option is an added bonus as it elevates the look of our simple garage and makes it a space you truly want to spend time in. I would 100% recommend this fridge/freezer to anyone and everyone looking for versatility and beauty.

Great Garage Fridge

We have loved this fridge/freezer so far! The set up was easy and it quickly got cold and chilled our food. The top fridge is very will lit and easy to organize - we’re using it in our garage for extra drinks/food. The bottom portion isn’t quite as well lit and you have to bend over to clearly view the top shelf but it is lit and well organized. I love that we can make the entire thing a fridge if we have extra food for a party/event and look forward to trying that option as well. Would recommend to anyone for their garage and possibly even inside their home.

Love this Midea 20 cubic ft refrigerator! We chose to install it in the garage where we are setting up a game room. It has plenty of space inside. I love that you can choose to have the freezer on top or bottom. It was easy to set up and level. It got to temperature very quickly. The controls are easy to use and it's very quiet.

You can scan the barcode to set up fast and monitor the fridge. The wheel at the bottom is easy to move. Maintaining great temperature and smells great after 24 hours of plug in. This refrigerator/freezer is amazing! Great for use inside a garage (how I’m using it) but could also be used inside as your main fridge if you wanted. The stainless steel is a sleek look. It’s completely customizable to your needs. Both sections can be a refrigerator, both can be a freezer, or you can have the top as a refrigerator and the bottom as a freezer. I personally have it set up at the latter option. Super simple set up- you plug it in and it’s as easy as a push of a button to program what setting you would like and can be changed easily to fit your needs. It keeps everything at the perfect temperature. Both sections are lighted and have multiple shelves and drawers which makes it really easy to organize and find things. My family members have made multiple comments to me about how much they love this fridge (funny, I know, but it’s THAT good). It comes with a QR code you scan that takes you to the SmartHome app which allows you to see the user guide, FAQ, and troubleshooting guide. There is also a service request section and service hotline if you need help. I have not personally had to use these but there is peace of mind knowing they are easily accessible if needed. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator!

It is very spacious

We received the fridge with a medium size dent on the bottom door. Overall the refrigerator is very nice. It is chrome finish and top and bottom store. I love the fact it can be converted into a all freezer perfect to store meat when I go hunting. It has a total of four drawers and the doors offer roomy storage. It is very silent and minimal to no operating noise which is an enormous plus. It has different cooling levels on the top compartment where I can change the settings to meet my needs. I would recommend this 50/50 flex refrigerator.

Very useful garage fridge, Climate controlled

The Midea frig is very unique, it can be a complete refrigerator or a freezer or both. It is climate controlled, so in the garage in Ohio in the winter, it still works perfectly. I got the nice stainless. It has capacity for bottles and condiments on the doors. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a handle, that being said it is so useful for us. As a side note, when they deliver your fridge, there is a large piece of Styrofoam on the bottom of the fridge. You have to get help to wiggle it side to side to have someone pull it out. That was a new process for us, so be prepared.

Huge thanks to @Midea for this amazing refrigeration! I was honestly so surprised when I received it. It’s even bigger and more beautiful than I expected. I really love the modern and elegant design. Even though it looks simple, it has so many great features. One of my favorite things is the flexible storage options. You can use both the top and the bottom as a freezer, both as a refrigerator, or split them 50/50 depending on your needs. If you need extra freezer space, this is perfect! It also holds a lot of food, the upright design makes everything easy to organize and find quickly. The LED lighting inside is bright and clean, giving the refrigerator a premium look. I received midea 50/50 flex refrigerator complimentary from influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. This refrigerator is great and has so many options. It can be a full refrigerator or a full freezer or half and half. I went with half and half. I have a finished basement and have had a refrigerator in my basement since I bought my house so it was definitely time to replace it. The refrigerator part i only keep beverages in but the freezer part has all types of food. I use my basement refrigerator every day. The only thing I would change is have the light for the freezer brighter and it needs more glass shelves. Two shelves for each part isnt enough, it needs at least three. The refrigerator is very deep. The door shelves are very sturdy.

Meal prep galore and Garage Ready temperature cont

I’m obsessed with this fridge/freezer or fridge or full freezer. I meal prep for 4 adults and needed an extra fridge. Sometime I have my frozen items than my kitchen fridge can handle and this is perfect to fit the needs I need at any given time. It’s also garage ready which is helpful for me because it is stored in a garage attached room that is not ventilated with our AC at all times. I don’t have to worry about circuits blowing or control temperature issues. The space is amazing and the design is beautiful. The glass is easy to clean and wipe up any spills. It fits tall glass be beverages or can stack multiple Tupperware containers. This will make my meal prepping days much easier especially when all the groceries are delivered.

Amazing Appliance

Absolutely love this appliance! Our old garage fridge was bulky and huge. We ran out of space in the fridge and hardly used the freezer. I love that I can turn this into double fridge and make it be a freezer when needed. It’s small enough to not take up too much space, but gives us the exact same amount of storage. I think we’ve even noticed a decrease in our electric bill! All around this thing is ergonomic and useful!

Love this refrigerator/freezer. Love that you can make the top and bottom both a freezer or a refrigerator. The doors are also able to switch which way they open. Love using the freezer on the bottom. Gives me much more room. It looks so nice with the stainless steal. It took no time at all after setting it up for it to be cold enough for me to put food into it. It is not noisy at all and fit perfectly in my kitchen. So excited for this appliance.

I received this Midea 50/50 flex for free exchange to my honest experience. This is what I was really looking for . A fixable and covering my needs . First I really like the steel finish and its match all my other applications and it becomes non-climate control space which make it more efficiency and perfect for garage. But I really appreciate the 3 ways convertible and easy switch between ( fridge /freezer , freezer ,fridge) and this design makes it super flexible for everyone and it also easy to change between them , amazing right !! Each compartment is equipped with 2 adjustable shelves , 2 door storage and 2 drawers for the best food organizer and to be easy to accessible . The temperature goes from 38 F to 110 F for fridge mood and between 0 F to 110 F for freezer mood . The design is made ideal for garage storage or basement pantry space . The capacity is more than enough for big family, it’s really huge . At the beginning, I used it as a fridge up and freezer down , and I mentioned how it’s fast to be so cold and the freezer temperature go down so fast . The best features I really appreciate it are the automatic defrosting and saving you a time and effort of manual defrosting , and smarthome connectivity , with energy efficiency thats you can save money The doors can be easy to installed from each direction to best suit in your location.

Love the idea of a 50/50 split freeze,fridge!! We had the French door fridge in garage before this and it just didn’t have the storage space in the freezer. I love that if we need more freezer space we can switch to that option. Although I do wish the freezer part was on the top:) but it will just take some getting used to. The installation was easy and love that it comes with an app and WiFi.

This 50/50 flex fridge/freezer is great! Each part can be changed back and forth between a freezer and a fridge depending on your needs. We are using it on the covered patio by a pool. We have it set up as two fridges right now. We may change it to half fridge/half freezer when it gets colder outside. It has a TON of room and even has WiFi and an app to easily change the settings. This is an amazing fridge for a good price!

This fridge is the perfect size and ready for any space. It is garage ready. It has great space inside to organize your food items. The drawers inside the fridge are deep to store all the things. It keeps my items very cold and keeps items frozen. You can change the settings inside the fridge or through the app is also a huge plus, especially if your tech savvy its great to control the temperature of both fridge and freezer. I just got this fridge delivered yesterday after much contemplation. Looking into it and making sure it would work for our garage and our needs. I absolutely love the fact that you can turn this either into a freezer or a refrigerator because, depending on the time of year, I need more refrigerable items towards spring and summer. And actually, the winter is when I really need that freezer space, so it's great to have both options. It fits in our garage space perfectly right now. It's going to be used as an additional refrigerator space and there's a lot of it. I'm impressed of how much space there is and it doesn't take up a lot of room. My garage does get really warm during the summer months so i'm glad that the fridge can sustain up to a hundred and ten degrees, because it gets to about that temp. It's quiet, it doesn't hum really loud, and it actually cooled really fast within hooking it up. Again, I absolutely love the idea that when I need more freezer space, I can turn both spaces into a freezer, such a genius idea.And we'll come in handy for my family of five. We may get a second one for our rental house garage because of how handy this will be . 100000% recommend, can't beat the price !

We love the design feature. The stainless steel doesn’t pick up finger prints as bad as other fridges. This fridge holds a lot of food and perfect for garage for back stock. This is an amazing product. Is very quiet, easy to change modes . Freezer mode works fantastic I keep frozen meat for two weeks and it didn’t thaw. Refrigerator mode keeps everything really cold . I love it perfect to keep extra frozen food on garage. Or as a drink refrigerator

Versatile and sleek design Refrigerator/Freezer!

Since it’s garage-ready and can handle a wide range of temperatures, I don’t have to worry about its performance, even in non-climate-controlled conditions. The user-friendly controls make it simple to switch each compartment between fridge and freezer modes. I also appreciate the adjustable shelves, drawers, and door bins, which make organizing everything a breeze. Temperature control

This frigerator/freezer 50/50 flex provides ample space for frozen and fresh items. The dual cooling systems ensure precise temperature for both fridge and freezer sections. The compressor run smoothly and quite, even though we use in the garage but you can suddenly use inside your house. The noise level is quiet compared to other model. I suddenly think this fridge/freezer is an awesome appliance to have in the house. Kids would love it when playing outside and run to the garage and grab a snack, a drink or whatever you have for them.

From fridge to freezer

I have had this fridge for almost a month. It is energy efficient, and I haven't seen a spike in my bill. Minimal to no noise level at all. I love that I can change the temp to be all freezer, all fridge, or freezer and fridge. All in all, it's a great product, and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Smart Features & App Control The Midea app adds a whole new level of convenience. I love that I can monitor temperatures, adjust settings, and even track energy usage all from my phone. This refrigerator has exceeded my expectations in many ways I love that it can be used at either a double fridge, double freezer or as a standard fridge and freezer combo. we are using it as a fridge and freezer and it got to temperature very quickly. Had the Midea set up out in my garage and I love the flexibility of choosing to either have all freezer space or all refrigerated space, the flex also allows my current setup of refrigeration on top and frozen on the bottom . The best part is the interior space and the amount of drinks or food I can store. A smart app also allows me to monitor the temperature and to see if one of my children leave the door open. I am more than pleased with this refrigerator.

Great refrigerator.It has a very good temperature control which helps you to decide refrigerator temperature by yourself. It has 4 temp modes. I like that it doesn’t have a loud noise. You can switch it making both sides frizzer or keep one side refrigerator, the other one frizzer.

Will save us money in a long run!

What an outstanding addition to our garage, we are family of 4 and we do like everyone else have a regular fridge in a kitchen but unfortunately as kids grow so our need to buy and store food so we were very limited on what we could get in the stores due to very limited capacity in our kitchen fridge. This is absolutely amazing, you can switch it to full freezer, full fridge or half and half as far as temperatures goes, which kind of incredible. We left it as half and half and loaded top fridge with drinkers for us and kids and have plenty of room for bulk vegetables and milk. Freezer is great as well, from meat to kids popsicles, to an extra bag of ice for summer, it’s super nice because it is in garage so kids can run up and grab a drink or snack directly from here. So in a long run it will save our family great amount because now we can buy bigger bulks that tend to be cheaper. Plus this fridge is super quiet, can’t hear it at all, not that it would make huge difference for us since we do have it in the garage, but if it’s a deal breaker for you, truly makes no noise at all. Quality seems great, super easy instructions and it’s ready when you get it, plug it in and it’s good to go once it’s cooled off. The whole experience with this fridge is absolutely smooth and excellent, everything was very easy and wife just super excited to put all drinks in instead of them just sitting in a garage in boxes and loading few at time in our main fridge. It is super helpful for us and we definitely loving all the savings that will come with it because of additional food storage! Love the fact that we have option to regulate compartments that the best fits our family needs!

Garage Pantry Game Changer!

This Midea 50/50 Flex replaced our old standup freezer in the pantry off of our garage and it is a GAME CHANGER! I included a picture of our old commercial freezer to show how limited the capacity is compared to the Midea 50/50 Flex, despite being nearly the same size (Midea was only 1.5” larger all around). Not only is the 50/50 feature amazing since it lets us choose how we want to split the space, but it also allows us to keep the second half closed while only looking in one part (our previous stand up freezer was a single door). The app also allows you to not only control the temperatures of each section, but also switch between which half is freezer or fridge in addition to running a diagnostics check and energy management. From the pictures, you can see how an entire commercial freezer’s worth of frozen food fit into our new Midea with PLENTY of room to spare. We definitely recommend the Midea 50/50 flex to replace your old garage overflow freezers and give you the additional space and flexibility you need!

I'm a surprised by the storage capacity on this unit. I love how i can change it to double fridge or double freezer at the push of the button. Noice level is non existent, had to make sure it was on. Love the app and how ir shows current energy consumption and keeps track of even how many times you open the door. Would recommend this unit to anyone.

This refrigerator works great so far. You have the option to change it to a full fridge or fridge and freezer. Has good storage. Seems to run a lot of energy though, it kept tripping the breaker. You can switch the door openings and the bottom freezer opens like a regular door.

Great Garage Refrigerator/Freezer

I bought this Refrigerator /Freezer in February of 2025 to replace a 35 year old Kenmore Refrigerator/Freezer. So far I like this unit and it performs as it should by holding a constant temp in both the refrigerator and the freezer. I like having it on Bluetooth so I can periodically check on its performance. The unit is very quiet, you can’t hear any compressor sound at all. I like the ability to use both top and bottom as a refrigerator, also it has lots of storage space inside. The one and only negative thing I’ve found on it, is there’s no interior light in the bottom freezer. I use this unit in my garage, so when I look inside I need a flashlight to find things stored there. If there was a light down there, it would be the perfect unit for extra cold storage in the garage.

Horrible

Fridge has not worked since day one. Keep arguing about keeping it in a temperature controlled area when it’s advertised as garage ready. We even have it in a temperature controlled second garage and they still will not fix it. 3 months of owing this junk and have never been able to use it. Gets up to 55 on defrost mode. Did the quarter in a frozen glass of water thing, quarter is now down halfway into the cup showing it’s literally de thawing on the daily. I don’t know why Midea keeps fighting on fixing or taking this thing back. Ridiculous. Will never own another Midea product. Wish we had just bought a small second regular fridge at a discount place over this.

Poor design

Great idea, except the seals don't stay closed and the top keeps malfunctioning. The app says there is no issue, but the top is not cooling. Repair guy has already fixed it once (after only 5 months of owning) and said it would likely happen again because of the poor design. Here we are again, a month later, needing another repair. And it can't be returned so we are stuck with a lemon.

The major flaw I have found is that the bottom door pops open every time the top door closes. The other thing I dislike is that there is no light in the bottom section. I would not buy this product again.
