  3. not a true ice machine

    Amazon · 4 out of 5 stars

this igloo looks nice , has a good build and does what it's supposed to do - makes ice; but the ice it makes is 32 degree ice, which means the ice needs to be either used or stored in a freezer immediately. if left in the basket the ice melts to return for the next cycle, producing a non-stop cycling if not turned off. five stars if the ice remained frozen stored in the basket until ready to use.

  4. Ice in 6 minutes

    Amazon · 5 out of 5 stars

Fresh ice every 6 minutes and not having to deal with kids forgetting to fill the trays in the freezer. This is my favorite purchase EVER!

  5. Unit should last longer than 10 months.

    Amazon · 3 out of 5 stars

Purchased June 2025. I liked this machine while it worked but it stopped working in May 2026. I would fill with double filtered water to make ice. I would freeze extra ice in baggies and place in the freezer. So I question the durability/longevity of this unit. It is a little noisy but I liked the ice it made.
