A nice refrigerator with a few caveats.

This was purchased as a replacement for a 17 year old refrigerator of another brand. I guess a lot has changed in 17 years. It has taken a bit of adjustment which, fortunately includes extra storage space, which we appreciate. The ice maker has a smaller capacity than we are used to, but it is sufficient. The in-door water/ice dispenser works well, but it would have been nice to have a better drip catcher. One thing that bothers me is the design of the power cord attachment to the unit. It comes up over the back of the fridge, across the top, and attaches near the front at the top of the door, where the power circuitry sits. It seems to me that a better design would have been for the cord to attach at the back, with it running under the top of the fridge. Even a top mounted channel would have been preferable to having it just lay on top. The shelves are roomy, and in-door fridge shelves are spacious, but, again, it would have been nice to make the shelves more adjustable. The shelf that holds a gallon of milk seems quite low. Being able to move it up would be nice. The drawers are large, but since the pulls for them are at the bottom of the drawer, and I am tall (6'5") it means I have to stoop quite a bit to get to the bottom drawer. In addition, the doors have to be opened all the way in order to pull out the bottom drawers, which seems unhandy. Speaking of doors, it took a bit of getting used to the "hidden" door handles. They do give the refrigerator a sleek look, however. Overall, we like this refrigerator. It is an adjustment from our previous one; getting used to a new one after 17 years, and me being over 70 is... well... An old dog getting used to new tricks.

Great Looking & Great Working Fridge

The first thing you notice is how classy this refrigerator looks in the kitchen. The lines are clean, highlighted by the fact that there are no door handles jutting out from the front. The stainless steel finish stays very clean and when it does get smudged you can wipe it clean with a slightly damp cloth. The fridge is very roomy. The doors are deep so you are able to store a great deal of food or drinks inside the doors. The refrigerator is also extremely quiet. You might think it's not working it is so quiet. The fridge and freezer maintain their optimum temperatures all the time. Overall, I have been very pleased with this new LG refrigerator

This LG refrigerator has more than ample room for everything that I need to get into a fridge. The refrigerator is silent. Everything works as advertised. The water and ice in the doors is very convenient, the temperature control is right on, and the outside stays clean. You do not see fingerprints and smudges all over the outside, so it always looks brand new. The fridge looks great in my kitchen, where I have other stainless steel appliances

Sleek look

Love the looks of this fridge. Having the ice in the door gives you more room in the freezer. The water filter, even after dispensing several gallons of water, leaves an after taste in your mouth. Fridge makes no noise except when ice bucket is empty. You can hear the cubes dropping in the bucket. Love the recessed handles. They leave no finger prints because you open from underneath.

Great but shows some fingerprints

One of the few black side by side still being manufactured. We bought this several weeks ago and overall are very pleased with it. It has considerably more capacity than our previous refrigerator freezer while fitting in the same opening. There are a few small negatives: front shows fingerprints, drawer pulls are on the bottom requiring bending to open and the air filter is located in an awkward place behind one of the drawers. Despite this we would definitely recommend it.

There have been bottles taller than the heights between shelves allowed. This doesn't occur on the freezer side. I particularly like the ice crusher on the freezer side. I purchased it in 2022 and have had no problems with it. The ice maker keeps plenty of ice on hand. It took me a moment to figure out how it all works but I am really glad that I made this purchase. It was a little large the one I had before, but the extra space makes it much easier to find items in the refrigerator and it does not look so messy. Love the 2 sections of ice cubes with when I get water from the from. I got it in white, put it is easy to keep clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking a a spacey refrigerator and freezer.

Changes should be improvements

Our previous LG refrigerator died so we went shopping for another one. I had specific requirements 1) outside water and ice dispenser, 2) ice maker in the freezer door, 3) lights in front so they aren't blocked by food. Only 2 brands had all these, and the other brand was not recommended by anyone. While I like my LG, the changes they have made from the previous model are mostly negative. Previously I could dispense water or ice by just pushing on the correct lever. Now I have to toggle between crushed ice, cubed ice, and water. This is a royal pain since my husband is constantly using ice, and I almost never use ice. It also doesn't seem to dispense very well. Another change is only 4 shelves instead of the previous 5 in both the freezer and refrigerator, and the ones in the freezer are not adjustable at all. They extended the bottom bin in both the freezer and refrigerator, but that eliminated a door shelf in both. They also moved the controls inside the refrigerator, so now you have to hold the refrigerator door open to make adjustments, and I can't find a way to turn off the alarm that sounds when they think you've held the door open too long. Please!!! If you can't make IMPROVEMENTS, leave things alone!

We love this LG side-by-side refrigerator. It was after we got it installed and loaded with groceries that we discovered we no longer hit our hands and elbows on the handles because they are recessed in the doors. This fridge is huge, with plenty of moveable shelves. We especially love the craft ice...round balls of ice. Finally, the app is nice as it tells us when the door is open for too long, and we can kick the ice-making ability into overdrive when we are expecting to use a lot of ice that evening.

The instruction booklet did not show the proper connection. I called my plumber and he was surprised that your delivery people did not hook up. They also told me to keep the box for 3 years in case it needed replacement! I stupidly believed them. Thank goodness I had room in the garage. I will work on cutting it up this weekend. Follow up with your delivery people. If it were me, I would fire them.

Fantastic refrigerator, fantastic freezer. Both do an excellnt job in raising the temperature of new purchases and maintaining the temperature of the stored items. The most disappointing feature is the constant level of noise emitted throughout the process of making and replacing ice cubes. I suspect that there is little insulation around that part of the freezer. Otherwise, this is an excellent appliance.

We have only had for a few weeks, but so far so good overall. We love how roomy it is and like the large shelving in the door. After having a worn out fridge, this is amazing. Some features that I may deem unsuitable now may just take getting used to after having the same style for so many years. Like not having dedicated space for the eggs. Also love how the shelving is clear so you can see better into the drawer. As long as you don't open the main door all the way back, it will close automatically. Another nice feature that will take time to get used to as it shuts pretty hard behind you. The drawer 'handles' are on the bottom of the drawer, so we have to bend over farther than I would like to open and close. The 'handle' on the exterior of the fridge takes some getting used to. I am seriously thinking about adding something to the drawers so we don't have to bend over so far. The only true negative (not just a feature to get used to) is the mess the ice dispenser makes. You have to use a pretty wide receptacle to catch all of the strays so they don't end up on the floor. Their is no drip tray. It is just flat. I realize all refrigerators probably do this to a degree, but this one is way worse than our previous older fridge. Helps if you remember to stand there for a few seconds before removing your glass. I started using large measuring cup.

I’ve had this fridge for a bit now and really like almost everything about it. Here are the main great points: -The water dispenser is large so fits a big Stanley or Yeti cup. -There is SO much room in both the fridge and freezer. I haven’t had a side by side before but the additional freezer room means we don’t have to buy an extra freezer. -Because it’s a side by side, you can see everything in the fridge. I can organize better because one whole shelf can be beverages, one whole shelf can be my husbands vegan and the next shelf can be my dairy / meat. -The look is sleek without handles. It takes a bit to get used to opening it with the under handles but I like the look better than handles. -the water tastes great! Here are the downsides, which aren’t really but could be improved: -The ice doesn’t come out nicely cut. It is messy as it’s coming out and doesn’t look like well cut ice for drinks, etc. -The water dispenser has a small spout so it’s not very fast. I get impatient filling my Stanley mug - it takes a bit!

I have enjoyed my LG refrigerator. It is large enough to hold everything I need. One bad thing is that the dispenser to the ice maker has frozen up 3 times. They are going to replace the seal and that should take care of it. They also need to inform you that the plug for the refrigerator is on the top of the fridge. My fridge has to sit farther from the wall than I would prefer because it won’t slide under my cabinet.

I searched on line I found that I had a 27 cu ft refrigerator. Now I could narrow my search to brand. Again so many to choose from. I wanted a brand I knew I could trust and was reliable. I found it! A LG!,, it is everything I wanted and needed in a new refrigerator!

Exceeds our expectations. Number one; it makes good ice and the amount meets our needs which is above average as we live in the Carribean and use alot throuhout the day. Better quality and quanity than the much more expensive refridgerator that we replaced. Surface stays very clean, any fingerprints are easily removed with a gentle wipe. Good design, especially like the projection of the lower drawer, very convenient for sitting items on while removing something from the upper shelves. Maintains constant and acturate temmperatures, checked with a thermometer. Before purchasing we compared many different makes, when comparing the features, performance and price it's the best buy around. Highly recommend. K & C. St Thomas, Virgin Islands

We are very happy with this refrigerator. The size is incredible. Loving the space. Initially I was surprised there isn't a butter garage, but using a little container in the top shelf is even better for stick butter storage, because it allows storage in front for rest of dairy, cream cheese, sour cream now its always there there's no searching for it. (see picture) I love the function of the drawers, how easily they slide in and out, seems the interior parts are not cheaply made they very nice and sturdy. The stainless steel on the front is sooooo easy to wipe fingerprints off, this entire refrigerator is light years away from our old Whirl p o o l

A good Refrigerator

This refrigerator is roomy, quiet, easy to clean, and able to keep consistent temperature. However, the temperature adjustments are just approximate. The actual inside temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator sections in the refrigerator we received are always about 2 to 3 degrees colder than the settings. Most of the shelves are fixed except the top shelf in the refrigerator section which has 2 height positions. It would be nicer to have more shelves height adjustments to provide flexibility. I wish the refrigerator door can be opened wider. The bottom drawer often hits the door gasket when it needs to be fully opened. Also because the 2 height positions of the top refrigerator shelf are only different by 2 inches, to install the shelf in the lower position, the shelf cannot be tilted enough to avoid scrapping the shelf with the door and the door gasket. I think it should help significantly if the door is allowed to open wider by about 15 to 20 degrees.

I am so happy with my new refrigerator. It is a nice looking, functional, and white. I prefer white appliances but they are not easy to find, White looks clean to me. The two types of ice in the door dispenser are small cubes and crushed, along with purified water. To access, you press the "select" word and stop on the pictured item that you want. The two refrigerator drawers have a lip on the bottom-front of the drawer which is different from the usual drawers. I think I like it better. There is no butter bin. There is a lip on both the freezer and refrigerator doors rather than handles. I recommend this purchase.

The change design of the ice maker was smart the old design that was on the top portion of the freezer took up a lot of room now the design is on the inside top portion of the door.

I 💕 LOVE this refrigerator but with a thought for improvement: filling a glass w ice sounds like an avalanche! of ice falling (make ice shavings instead of big clumps); and produce, etc., drawers the upper drawer should extend out to meet, or almost, the bottom drawer, making drawer bigger. Other than these two suggestions, I am very happy with the refrigerator!

We have had this fridge for a few weeks. Most of our experience, both good and bad, stem from getting used to this LG, after owning our previous fridge for over 17 years. It is nice and roomy, but there is little one can do about changing shelf heights and such, including the shelf for milk jugs which is placed at the bottom of the door. But, we'll get used to it. Otherwise it seems to be a nice fridge.

This refrigerator is better than I hoped. It’s easy to clean and the amenities are well thought out. The door when left open will gently close itself. The temperature is easy to control and the ice filter is easy to replace. Unlike the unit it is replacing, it is very quiet when the compressor runs.

I bought these items over 2 months ago. The stove and microwave were delivered with no problems. Now the refrigerator is another thing. It took 2 delivery dates to get it and after get it the filter was not good. All in all it took almost 2 months to get it all working correctly.

It needs a water line to make the ice machine work I didn’t have the chance to do that and it will be alot of work in my kitchen setup So I just wish there was a fill up tank I can just fill manually

I bought this in April 2022 and it worked well until about three months ago when the icemaker quit working. I tried using the smart LG ThinQ app several times but it wouldn't work. Fortunately I had purchased a service contract and a repairman is coming out this week.

Very good unit for the price, took a while once installed to make ice, 36 hours. Even though the stainless steel finish has some sort of anti-finger print finish, the unit still gets them pretty easily. So far very happy with the unit, only sound I hear is the ice maker.

I believe I contacted the vendor and they said that my shelf is covered but the store says his cosmetic? How can a broken shelf be cosmetic? I need real answers and I'm not getting them here!!!

You will really like this refrigerator

Really like this refrigerator. It is quiet, nice and deep but not without one or two things that could make it better. The pull out drawers at the bottom of the refrigerator side have the pull located at the bottom of the drawer, which is not handy or normal, putting an indent closer to the top of each drawer would make this more user friendly. The other items is the lack of a cold cut drawer, this is minor, we use a plastic covered storage bin in the place of a drawer. Note that without the cold cut drawer you do have more flexibility for food storage in the refrigerator side. So far we are really enjoying this product. Thanks LG!

It's only been a month but I love the space, the ice maker, and the look. It is sleek and futuristic looking. So spacious and open and bright. Keeps everything very fresh too. I wish the door handles were higher up but I love the design. My only other issue is not having an individual place to keep butter. But I will forego those two things for having the extra space in both the freezer and fridge.

Only one complaint

It is overall a great refrigerator. My only complaint is the ice maker. The holding bin is extremely small and takes quite a while to fill. In the hot Arizona summers I am afraid it will not keep up with the ice usage. Also there are times I want to set the freezer below -4 degrees. Not sure how a totally computerized fridge will work in the long run.

We made this purchase based on Consumer Reports reviews and the positive reviews were accurate! The interior is spacious and easy to keep clean. The ice maker is in the door, providing even more freezer storage. The ice cubes are smaller but adequate and the volume is adequate for two grandparents and four grandchildren. The exterior stainless steel is also easy to keep looking like new. There is easy access to the simple controls and water filter. We feel like we’ve made a great choice!

First of all this is a good looking refrigerator. I shared a picture on social media and received a compliment. It has plenty of space inside for all my perishables in both the freezer and the refrigerator. I really like the ice maker in the door feature. It works quite well and doesn't consume a lot of shelf space in the freezer. I also like the size of the ice it makes plus I can have crushed ice or cold water without opening the freezer door. It also makes less noise than my previous refrigerator.

We purchased this a year ago for our new house. Overall it’s a nice refrigerator, would not be big enough for a large family. Only issue we have had was with the water filter. When we tried to change it it leaked. The second time we changed it it leaked again. We looked on google and learned about using old filter to reset the connector and that finally worked… it shouldn’t be that complicated though!

I like that the ice maker is not a dispenser which creates more freezer room. The fridge and freezer are very spacious, the design for space was thought out very well. I needed a new fridge ASAP and did not have time to do much research, nonetheless go into an actual store to browse and compare, so it was a bit of a hasty purchase. That being said, I'm not a fan of it not having handles. It's given me a habit of touching the door when I close it and I've pinched my fingers between the doors numerous times. My other nit pick is the color of the side panel. I feel like common sense for chrome appliances would be a black side. It's a hideous matte gray. However, like I said, it's a bit unfair for my bias because I had to find a fridge online make the purchase in litteraly 3 minutes.

I bought this to replace another brand that had many problems within the first 1 1/2 years. Although I like the refrigerator my concerns are the size of the ice container in the freezer and the ability to open the bottom draw in the freezer. The ice container is much smaller than any I ever had. The bottom draw in the freezer was impossible to open as it hit the door when I opened it. Thanks to a wonderful repair man, he gave me about 1/8th of an inch. Not too good but with care it works. As a last observation, why is the handle of this draw on the bottom instead of the top? It means reaching down to the floor in order to open it. For the good news, the amount of space is wonderful throughout the refrigerator and freezer and it seems to hold its temperature well. I am enjoying the product. Thank you.

Perfect Replacement

Our old refrigerator was a side-by-side. It had white wood panels that matched the cabinets next to it. We ordered a white one to match our cabinets. It was a little bigger than our old one but not a problem! In fact, we can fit more food with this one. All the features on the unit are very organized and straightforward. Only problem is the lower vegetable drawers in both refrigerator and freezer. The drawers are accessed through a glass lid. The drawers protrude towards door opening. The glass on top of the doors can easily break if something above falls on them. I had that happen twice, had to order new glass to replace. Should be a warranty Item, stuck paying! LG should redesign those drawers to correct this issue!

Nice Unit - Superior LG Support

Purchased this item a few weeks ago and I am pleased with it. Had a few issues initially with the cooling. I called LG and requested help for this matter. The LG tech came to my house and explained to me how this inverter system works and how the unit is designed to cool. Now my new fridge is cooling perfectly as it should being an LG! There is plenty of room in the cooling and freezing compartments. The icemaker works well and quickly. The most positive feature of the unit for me is in knowing that LG provides excellent support for their products. LG doesn't just sell a product and leave the buyer to try to figure it out - they are eager to offer support to their buyer to help the buyer understand how their product works so the buyer can truly enjoy having an LG product.

My model no. is actually LLFGC2706S counter depth Instaview with ice and water inside but my model wasn't on the list as a choice. I am very happy with this purchase, except in hindsight the full width deli drawer is a drawback as I would prefer not to have to open both french doors to retrieve items. Happy about the generous space in both fridge and freezer sections. The fingerprint "resistance" leaves a bit to be desired

Problem to start but running good now

Within the first 48 hours the mother board failed. Could not control temperature and refrigerator at 27 degrees. Service replaced board and ice maker. No further issue. Technician was knowledgeable and friendly. Arrived when he said he would.

We've had the LRSXS2706V for several weeks and its great. The Stainless Steel Look is fine, but there are still a few finger prints that need to be wiped away. I love the ice and water in the door. Wish it had a butter shelf, cheese drawer and adjustable shelves but for the price you can't beat this.

Solid performance!

I've been using my new Side by side 27cu for 2 weeks now. It keeps stuff frozen and cold with consistent temperature. There's plenty space. It has a few drawers, but I wish it had more. It runs quiet, but every so often I hear a loud pop and I wonder where it comes from. The ice- and water-dispenser work fine so far.

I have to say that the ice maker was working but the small door to allow the ice to fall was not opening. We went a week without the luxury if auto ice. I have to say that we have become spoiled. The repair associate arrived a week after purchase and changed out a circuit board. Everyone was professional in the repair ticket and repair of my brand-new LG Refrigerator. After 26 nicknames, finally accepted one? After this occurrence the refer is working fine, and it's huge. Love it!

Some features that could be improved are: the icemaker doesn't make a lot of ice, and making the selection between water, cubed ice and crushed ice is difficult when the kitchen isn't totally bright as the choices aren't lit. And when dispensing crushed ice, it seems to spray a bit beyond a very wide glass. And the tiny diagrams showing "cubed ice" and "crushed ice" are very difficult to differentiate. And the cold water takes quite a while to come out cold, initially it's just a bit cooler than room temperature, then gets colder, but if you're getting 1/2 a glass of water, it won't be very chillded. Also the bottom refrigerator bins can't be opened unless the refrigerator door is totally opened. It would be narrow to have a small pull out drawer for storage of small things like butter and cheese. But the the refigerator is attractive and seems of fairly good quality.

Very happy with this new purchase after our previous fridge unexpectabley died. I love that we can still use the water dispenser when the door it open (previous one couldn't). My only knock on the fridge is a personal one. We're both fairly tall people, and the handles are a little low for us. 6' under, you're probably fine.

I have been using my LG Since December 2022. I love the water and ice dispenser, easy to work and the Fridge is very quiet. What I also love about my LG is that it is while front and sides. Also, a magnet works on the door so you know you have a great product. My there Fridge a magnet would not stick to it. So many of the Friges have one colour in the front and the sides dark grey. When you walk into the kitchen you see the white sides which goes lovely with my white cabinets.

Downside, door must swing beyond 90 degrees for bottom drawer to open. Second the glass drawer shelves. A package of frozen meat fell from one of the above shelves and shattered the bottom glass. Maybe a heavy Plexi-glass might work better..

No ice anymore

I bought this fridge a little over a year ago. The freezer gets all of this frosty layer inside. Now it has stopped making ice. The ice tray had ice but wouldn’t tip. Got the ice out of the tray in case it was frozen shut and couldn’t tip. Ice out and dried the tray and still won’t dump.

Bitter water/ice taste

Purchased LG 27 cu ft. refrigerator, model #LRSXS2706 on May 24, 2022. Ice and water have a bad taste. Replaced factory filter that was only two months old with another factory filter. The water came out cloudy when the water department tech. tested the water coming out of the water dispenser. I replaced the ice maker supply line also; water still cloudy.

This is an awesome fridge. My only complaint is that the icemaker keeps getting jammed up all the time. When this happens, you need to take out the ice holder, dump the ice into a bowl, and un jamb the ice stuck in the auger. They should really work on a fix for this and offer it to all customers that have this model fridge!!!!!

I bought this to replace my LG that finally died after so many problems. I like the no handle look but don't think it had tall people in mind. There should be door pockets on top of doors instead of just the bottom to open and especially close the doors. The draws have no handles and you have to bend way over to open. I prefer the previous models ice and water dispenser where I didn't have to change selections and the ice dispenser is very slow to drop ice.

Now that I had a repair person came out and fixed refrigerator water and ice dispenser fridge is working fine (they didn't work from start). Shelf for cup should have a recess area with a grate over it to catch any water that might spill out so that it doesn't run down the front and onto the floor like it does.Doors should open wider that they do.Warranty should start from time that appliance is put in use in the case of contractors having persons order appliances at start of work being done for house fires, floods, etc (I now have a 5 month warranty period left on a 5 major appliances that I have just started using because of construction times on repair of house and when they had us buy appliances).

Pros Outweigh The Cons...I guess

Pros: I bought this fridge because 1) I liked the large capacity and how the shelves, drawers, and door shelves maximize that capacity. 2) I wanted glass shelves in the freezer (not racks). 3) I liked how the drawers rolled smoothly. I'm still happy with all of these features after having it for 8 months! These were my non-negotiables and why I would probably buy it again despite all of the things I don't like about it, because these three features were best in its class of all the side-by-side fridges we looked at in store. I also like the digital features like the alert when the door has been open too long, the digital display panel, etc. Cons: Water and Ice Dispenser: 1) My biggest issue with this fridge is that our water comes out of the water dispenser warm. You can fill maybe one small glass with cold water and then the water comes out warm, and the initial "cold" water really isn't even that cold. 2) I don't like how there's one button to click through for all of the options. Why can't each of the options just have it's own button? 3) The cubed and crushed ice don't seem too different from each other- cubed comes out basically crushed. 4) The ice bin is small and difficult to get ice out of if you don't go through the dispenser. 5) I prefer to grip the cup and use my knuckles to press the lever (because it feels more sanitary than putting the lip of the cup that I've been drinking out of or against the lever for a refill) but in order to get ice, you have to push the lever with the cup, and even then it still usually spits out bits of ice onto the floor, even when cubed is selected. Design: 6) I thought I wouldn't like how low the handle is, but I've actually been fine with that, but I hate how it collects crumbs and is hard to clean. 7)Not lots of options for adjusting shelf height. 8)Why can't the pulls for the drawers be at the top of the drawer so you don't have to stoop to the floor to pull out the bottom drawer 9) The manufacturer's packaging left a sticker line going vertically along the front right panel and I can't get it off even with cleaner. Function: 10) I wish it would alert you in some way when the filter needs to be changed, instead of having to remember to check the control panel periodically. 11) It says it has door cooling, but we noticed our salsa got moldy when it hadn't been in the fridge that long (we had it in the door).

Pros: Big on the inside and plenty of shelves. It took me a while to figure out how to pull the drawers out. I was actually lifting the glass and I thought who designed this? There is a lip on the bottom of the drawer. If you have a bad back forget about it. There is no drawer for deli meats/cheese. For no apparent reason the refrigerator one day didn't work. Very disappointed. We have not connected the water line as we have had the refrigerator just shut down for no apparent reason. We are in the process of moving so we have had no time to contact the manufacturer.

Icemaker

.I bought this model because I wanted an icemaker and cold water dispenser. I bought this in August of 2022 (less than a year ago) The water line started leaking and after 3 phone calls I finally convinced them to send a repairman put. He put a new part on but the water was warm and the icemaker doesn't work. He ordered a compressor now and will be 5 more business days before coming back. I don't believe a less than a year old refrigerator should need a compressor. Less than happy. I doubt I win a prize for this review.

ALL GOOD BUT THE ICE MAKER

Everything about the appliance is good except for the ice maker. It just can't keep up. Started out ok but then started to take longer to fill up the bin. Even with the ice plus setting on. Just had them come out to repair and they replaced the ice unit and it's still the same. Other than that it's a good unit. We are a family of 3 and have this issue. If you're a larger familiy it'd a be a bigger issue i'm sure.

Nice Storage, but a few design flaws

Have had this frig for about 6 months. While we like the storage space, there are a few design flaws that I definitely DO NOT like. 1 > Ice/Water Dispenser - This is a pain as far as making the selection for ice cubes/water/crushed. Definitely prefer having separate methods of selecting ice vs water. The biggest PAIN is there is NO drip collection for splashes of water, AND the ice tends to fall all over the place during dispensing. The ice cube auger also tends to get clogged easily... have to change selection to crushed to free up, and then back to cubes.. if this doesn't work, have to remove the ice container from inside frig and shake it up. 2 > Smooth White Front Exterior - Definitely don't like the smooth white finish, especially since we have cats.. hair sticks to it like a glove! 3 > No Handles - The handle less design may look sleek, but is a total PAIN to clean! Would I buy this model again? No, probably not...but would likely stick with a Side-By-Side Design.

Overall not bad for the price

We bought this because the old one we had didn’t have a working ice maker. While I love the looks of this refrigerator and the size, the ice maker and dispenser needs work. My daughter and I both like the smaller ice chunks and this machine just doesn’t make enough ice. We have it on the ice blast mode but we are still using ice trays to have enough for dinner. On top of that the ice thru the door gets jammed frequently. I removed it to clean it and found a sharpie mark on the bottom, makes me wonder if the ice maker was even new. If you need ice for more than one person you might want a different ice maker.

On my third ice maker in 8 years. Plus it is a poor design n spits cubes all over, inconsistent in how much ice it makes. Really is a low point in this fridge. Unreliable, inconsistent, spits out cubes when n where it feels like it. Now you know. Good fridge, but they blew it with the ice maker.

Roomy

I bought this refrigerator because my previous French Door had just become unbearable to use. The tracks had broken and the bottom rack as well. The water line had also failed. The deli tray hood had also seen better days. With this in mind I opted to go with something less showy and more on the simple side, less things to break in my mind. We live in an area with ninety to one hundred plus degree weather in warmer months so an ice maker was a must. I still haven't figured out how to arrange everything. there aren't any places for butter or deli meats, the shelves don't adjust except for the top one. The shelves are deep, so it makes it difficult to find things in the fridge. I have purchased trays to try to organize my meats and cheeses but it is still not how I like it. I told my kids the other day that if I could return it I would get another one with more drawers and definitely a deli tray. i would just have to spend more money for better quality refrigerator. On a recent heat wave we ran out of ice with only four people in the house, so I need an Ice maker that produces more.

Ice maker is regrettable

This is a great fridge. Roomy, sleek, modern. But the one thing I wanted was a nice ice maker. I am the only ice user in the house and it can't keep up with me. My older frig didn't have a problem. Even when the ice is set on the "max ice" setting, it's not any better. Very disappointed. If you need an effective ice maker, this is not your frig.

Poorly designed refrigerator section. It does not have a small pull out drawer for cheeses. bacon, etc. To pull out the very bottom drawer you ave to bend totally down to the bottom of the drawer, not the top, to open it.

Exploding Bottom Shelve

This fridge has been a nightmare. It dents super easy. More importantly, the protruding bottom shelves is most definitely a design flaw. If anything falls from a shelf, the bottom shelf glass will shattered. This has happened to me twice. My freezer bottom shelf and now the fridge bottom shelf has shattered. Makes no sense to replace the glass, when there are children in the house it will only happened again.

Terrible ice maker

The refrigerator "works" fine, but I hate that it doesn't have regular handles on the doors, but mostly I hate the minimal ice it makes. Not enough ice for just two of us! We had to buy a countertop ice maker to make up the difference. Would not buy again.

two years old and issues

Had For 2 years , now the ice /water selector switch quits working. If you unplug and reset it will work again for a time then quit working again. Also the door heater seal is extremely hot! You can't even touch the door seal or it will burn your hand /fingers. was told this is normal??? I've never had a refrigerator that has had this issue. You can feel the heat radiating from the partition between the freezer section and fridge.

Good fridge, but HORRIBLE ice making & water volum

Our fridge is about two years old. We love it because it fits in the space & holds all of what we deem necessary. I also like the simple "tray" below the ice dispenser. However, we hate it because it has HORRIBLE ice making capacity & water output volume. Several times, we've been out of town for a few days & it still doesn't fill the bucket. No handles is also very frustrating & we'll not make that mistake again! We're ready to get rid of it in an effort to find something that will actually work for us!

I bought this refreigerator around March 2023 and am not happy with it. The ice maker has an on/off button that doesn't work. If I don't empty the ice bucket everey 2-3 days the bucket overfills and cubes freeze together and have to defrost (by unplugging) the refrigerator so the cubes will defrost and despence. The refrig shelves are too close to the floor at the bottom and have to stand on my head to get anything out of them. The door handles are awkward to use. Very displeased.

We purchased this refrigerator about four months ago, it will not cool below 44 degrees when set to the 33 degree setting. Food spoils very quickly as you can imagine. The repairman has yet to resolve the problem, was here yesterday and did not fix the issue.

Garbage product

I would give 0 stars if I could. The worst refrigerator I've ever had. Be prepared to buy bags of ice as this thing won't even produce enough ice in a 24-hour period for one person. The refrigerator gets too cold in the back and ice forms on my food. The compressor had to be replaced a few months after purchase and the ice maker worked a bit better after that but now it's back to making one tray a day. The water from the dispenser has never been cold, since day one. And of course, the lousy one-year warranty is expired. Learn from my mistake and purchase another brand.

Large regrigerator. Massive shelves and room. Downside, no deli/cheese drawer. Vegie and fruit drawer very difficult to get to. For example, you must pull the drawer out from the bottom. Needs to be redesigned. Freezer is great.

I’m giving 2 stars for benefit of doubt since I haven’t contacted the company just yet to see what they are going to do about my issue but I feel regardless the fact that I have had this fridge for just under 10 months & the ice maker is barely making any ice all the sudden, points to a low quality product. Maybe it’s just luck and a part will be repaired & I won’t have anymore issues I know when thousands of units are produced in a factory there’s always a few that will have issues. But. we will see &. I will absolutely return to update or leave a new review If unable to edit once the issue has been resolved

Broke after a month

I bought this refrigerator one month and a half ago and it's been broken for almost two weeks. While it's still under warranty, it should be fixed soon, but the fact that a part has already failed doesn't bode well. I'm hoping the repair will last, but I regret buying this model. While it worked it was fine and I was happy, but a major repair after only a month is ridiculous.

Immediately had problems

We bought this product about a month ago, including the service plan. Within 24 hours the ice dispenser stopped putting out water. We did all of the troubleshooting and ended up calling for service. Service crew made it out after about ten days and told us it’s the solenoid (already??). Have been waiting two weeks for the part and for service to show up after cancelling out time-slot last week. In the meantime the vegetable drawers are malfunctioning and everything in them is freezing SOLID. Ruined a bunch of vegetables and now the drawers are unusable (yes we used the temperature adjustment settings- still freezes solid). Regret this purchase immensely.

Defective!! Super slow ice making

I purchased this refrigerator a little over 5 weeks ago. Never seemed that cold, so I kept setting the temperature colder and colder. Finally, at the coldest setting, the refrigerator would be at 40 degrees and when you open the door for 10 seconds, the temperature would jump up and would take several hours to cool. Service very unresponsive. Spent over two hours to get service five days from now. At least they claim to cover food spoilage, so we will see. Also, if you like ice, this is not the refrigerator for you. The ice maker is slow. I keep pressing the ice plus, but still run out of ice 2-3 times each week (and I'm just one person using ice).

Don't buy this model. The door shelves keep falling out, this time breaking, and it's 2 months out of warranty. one shelf completely broken and it cracked the other two shelves. The bottom tempered glass above the bottom. fridge drawer and the tempered glass above the bottom freezer drawer broke. In all my 50 years I have never seen tempered glass break.
