We received this refrigerator a week ago and really love it. I fits perfectly in our space, cooled down very quickly and was easy to set up. Water and ice in the door works perfectly. The controls are pretty intuitive. Being able to put it in my SmartThings app is an added bonus. We replaced a three door (bottom freezer) with this one and now we are able to see and find everything without having to dig through the entire freezer to find something. So much easier and more efficient. We're very happy with it and haven't found anything we don't like about it.

This fridge is good. I do not like how the shelves are placed because I cannot fit anything to tall on the shelves and I can only fit a few items in the doors. I tried to move one of the shelves but then it left a shelf that is too small to be useful. But the fridge/freezer stopped working after about 6 months of getting it. It actually just happened today so I called to troubleshoot but I still have to see if unplugging it worked because that was the only thing that could be tried. A fridge should not be a computer if it cannot work properly. Wish me luck. Oh, and the seal to the fridge ripped at the corners because it hits itself?

When we bought a new home filling it with appliances was such a headache. Samsung has always been an active product line in our home so we couldn't say no to this 22 ft side by side. Just enough room to have the cool organization, the capacity is great despite it looking so small. Cooling is amazing fast, so easy to clean as well.

As soon as we started to use it we were amazed at how efficient and accurate the temperature controls were for the refrigerator and the freezer. It has also been helpful using the app, when my dad forgets to close the door and it beeps.

We had have this refrigerator for the last 3 years and overerall it has good reliability and good value. Before buying it I did extensive research and to me it was the best value for the $. Both freezer and refrigerator parts have decent capacity. And I specifically was looking for a side by side model to avoid issues with ice maker. Overall we are happy with our choice. I removed one star due to water dispenser. After you use it some times it drips few drops of water after it was off and in creates water stains on the black dish below.

Refrigerator is well designdd overall. The capacity is not bad for a standard size side by side. The ice machine despenser takes a bit long time before it starts dispensing ice, making you wonder if its broken, if you are not familiar with the refrigerator. It does freeze ice cubes rather well/efficiently to keep you in good supply of ice. Back to the refrigerator and freezer itself, both are well designed and use space efficiently. A good refrigerator overall.

Great refrigerator - so good we bought two of them! We’ve had one for 5 years at our main home and liked it so much we bought another when it was time to replace the fridge at our winter place. Cools great, more than enough room for 2 or 3 people, really power efficient. No light on the ice and water dispenser, but that’s not a show stopper. Looks beautiful too. No handles but easy to open anyway. We’re super happy, thank you Samsung!!

I’ve had the refrigerator a month now. It keeps temperature beautifully, Makes a good bit of ice. I love the power, cool, and power freeze features, They are especially useful when you have groceries that have gotten warm in the ride from the store and that have to be kept cool. There is lots of room for groceries, fresh fruits, in the refrigerator section and ample room for ice cream, frozen vegetables, fish, and meats, etc. in the freezer section. It runs very quietly and my electricity bills have been lowered this month. That’s how energy efficient it is. You really can’t go wrong with this model. It is a beautiful refrigerator.

after the first one was retired, we bought this new one. it fits into our narrow, galley kitchen. for two retired people, it has space enough for our fresh food needs. the ice maker and water dispenser in the door are very much appreciated, especially in summer. temperature controls are easy to understand. the newly restyled door system eliminated the wide, sticking out handles on the older model. the stainless steel surface really does resist fingerprints.

Good counter depth frigidaire. Like that does not have a handle to stick out. It should have a night lite though at the water dispenser and the shelfs should be adjustable but has enough room inside.

I was very excited when I received my new refrigerator. One of the coolest thing is the finger print resistance - you can hardly see any prints and it's so easy to wipe off. I enjoy the all around cooling and the in case ice maker. I made a big bowl of punch and needed lots of ice, it was so awesome when I just removed the in case ice maker and added the ice I needed. The adjustable shelves are awesome, just slide and adjust. I am also impressed with the amount of space this refrigerator has - the gallon sized door shelves. I give Samsung a thumbs up for a well organized and designed fridge.

overall, this Refrigerator is great. the only suggestion is the water dispenser does not have a light when filling and the tip were the water comes out is not long enough to see when filling a glass. you have to bend down to line up the waterspout or the water will go everywhere.

Refrigerator is great. It keeps everything cold. I know it doesn't sound like much but it is very cold. No matter what is in there, it keeps it at the perfect temperature. It has a alarm you can set if the door is left open and the fridge and freezer are both very spacious. I have all the Samsung appliances and washer and dryer and it is all easily controlled by my phone or watch. I highly recommend it.

I love the design of the side by side counter depth, it fits perfectly in my space saving kitchen. I just received yesterday and it reached cooling degrees very quickly, the icemaker filled the bin overnight so I could empty and start on my new round of usable ice. The water flow is amazing on the water dispenser. Anxious to fill with my new grocery order.

I like my Samsung side by side refrigerator, specifically it's great storage capacity, crisper bins options and it's efficiency. One thing I think it could be improved upon it would be to have a light in the water dispenser area for when you getting a glass of water at night that would be nice. Counter depth at only 36" width but still plenty of storage inside and parts look more substantial than my previous Bosch that kept breaking inside with frail plastic connectors Only negative would be the water dispenser not as cold as desired but that why the ice dispenser is one button away

A frige that works for us

I like the controls on the inside the refrig door. It's not a large refrigerator but it works good for my wife and me. In fact the only thing I would have liked to see is a motion activated light in the water/ice dispenser that turns on a light as I'm filling Ice or water. Also if you have narrow mouth glasses the water jet can hit your hand instead of the glass so I have to rotate the glass so my fingers are to the back hitting the lever which pushes the glass far enough out... But pretty minor stuff...

This is a nice and decent fridge. The only issue i have with it. Is I don't like the design of the water and ice dispenser. The thing i like about it. Is that you can fill water and have the fridge door open to get an item. but the design of the water coming out when you push in the glass or cup is too far out. Plus their isn't a light to show how much water you are filing. But this fridge works really good at keep my food fresh and cold. This fridge holds a lot of food in it.

Been using the fridge for 6 months now and it's been great! The fridge side has a lot of shelves, even on the door. Changing the water filter is very swift. The freezer side is a bit more narrow but easy to work around. I've maker is very consistent. The hidden handle does leave fingerprints on the front of the door, but is easily wiped away. Overall a very solid fridge!

This is quite a large refrigerator. We like it. There is a lot of room to put everything. The only thing I would like added was a little butter compartment, but other than that it's great. The ice maker makes good size ice. We don't use the water dispenser itself, but it has great flow the times we have hit it by accident. The finish is nice and shiny. I have some stainless steel cleaner that works great. One annoying thing is the main shelves aren't too adjustable, but the configuration works for us.

purchased a month ago and have been very happy, replaced a similar model that was 14 years old. Ice maker and water is much quieter than the old model. One less drawer in the fridge and freezer, but more shelf space. Installation was easy and took less than 5 minutes.

It’s a nice refrigerator but it keeps things so cold that they have ice on. I tried turning it up but only goes to a certain temp and No further. The other thing is when you get water it always leaves drips in the tray and so you have to a towel in there or your water can run down the front. Freezer is great but again if you have Ice cream it is hard as a rock and you can’t turn the temp down. I wish the website was more user friendly or the app would have the manual that is handy to read up on this refrigerator. Ice maker you always have to defrost or when you have it on cubed it still gives out small bits of ice. Now I’m afraid to change the water filter because I read reviews that it leaks after you replace and not from one person. Has I known this up front I don’t think I would have bought this refrigerator.

Everything works well in this fridge. The only problem is that it works too well, and some things in the back of the fridge sometimes freezes, even when it's at the highest temperature setting. So I just have to be mindful to put the items that freezes easily towards that front of the fridge shelves. I also wish I had gotten the bigger capacity fridge... next time for sure!

I brought my refrigerator two years ago. Works perfectly, we have had no problems since we installed the unit. Smartthings integration works well, I get notifications on my cell phone if there is a door open.

This is a great fridge. We replaced a 20 year old unit that was on its last leg. We have been very pleased with it so far (1 month old) no problems at all. Works well with the smart things app. Lots of room for being a counter depth fridge. Only complaint is that it could have more drawers for item separation in the fridge and freezer side. Definitely worth a purchase.

we purchased a samsung because we had purchased a samsung washer many years ago and loved it. we haven't had any issues with our refrigerator. it's not as "fingerprint resistant" as much as i was hoping. we also love the no handle feature. two cons that we have experienced. one, the ice machine is small! our family likes a lot of ice in their drinks and also seems to replenish slowly---so much so we now have an ice machine to use when we have family or company over. the second is we had one of the shelves literally shatter when cleaning this week. unsure of what would make it do that because (a.) it was on the plastic end and on a rubber mat in the sink, (b.) it was just warm water and dish det. over all, it has been a great purchase. hope this helps!

Recently purchased my house and this fridge was bought new by the seller as a part of the flip they did on the property. Very sleek looking, has a good amount of space and operates well. The only issue we have is some water leaks or condensates at the bottom under the veggie drawer and freezes then will leak out of the bottom when it thaws. Not sure if this is a common/easily fixable issue, but the fridge is under warranty and we are having it addressed free of cost.

i’ve had it for a year and it works well. initially, food stored in the back would freeze, but i had the fridge overloaded with food. i took everything out, tossed a few items, and reorganized the food so that none of the vents were blocked and now i’m not having that problem. i’m giving it 4 starts because there is not a light for the water and ice dispenser so sometimes i have to put on the counter or ceiling lights.

i bought it in the summer of 2021 and used it for about 6 months. i had a samsung french door refrigerator, but i bought it because it has more kitchen space and a simple design. i also like that it has enough capacity for a family of four, a very simple and clean design without a handle on the outside, no fingerprints, and a good taste of water. there is a lot of space required to open the door, so it is not at all inconvenient to open and close the door even without a handle. i trust all samsung products because i know that samsung is thoroughly consumer-oriented when it comes to making all of its products. thank you for providing a lot of products at a good price.

Mostly fine, with frustrating lack of LED light

for the most part, i'm very happy with the refrigerator -- i like the counter depth, the water filter lasts about 6 months for a family of 3, and the shelves are laid out thoughtfully (although i would have liked to see a mid-level snack tray in the refrigerator). but there is one very baffling and extremely frustrating issue with this model -- there is no lighting whatsoever in the water/ice dispenser alcove, which means it's very difficult to see what you're doing. this can often result in either water or ice being spilled on the floor. i attached some adhesive battery-operated led lights with motion sensors which help a bit, but there is really no excuse for a refrigerator at this price point to not have a built-in led light for the water/ice dispenser.

this refrigerator replaces another brand. it does not have as many bells and whistles, but it is an excellent refrigerator for the cost. it is slightly noisier than i expected, but that's a minimal issue. if it remains consistent for 12 months, i would probably add the fifth star. i would definitely recommend and i would definitely buy again.

This is my 2nd Samsung refrigerator. My first was a counter-depth, side-by-side with the preview door on the frighted side, loved this refrigerator unfortunately Samsung no loner offers this model. The new one get purchased is an excellent replace for the previous model very happy. For a 22 cu. ft. very space efficient, the wifi integration is easy to setup and provides me direct alerts if a door is left open and with kids this is a great feature. One improvement for be a more robust ice maker, my view it's too small.

We love the panel on the inside right wall where we can adjust temperature, turn ice on an off, etc... It also connects to the internet via bluetooth and will let us know if the door is blocked open etc...

good value in a basic level fridge. drawers and shelves are pretty much non adjustable. as other reviews note, the ice maker is slow to cycle. fridge wouldn't fill the ice container overnight. not a problem for small households not using a lot of ice though. great minimalist design with door handles hidden from view. like the fact that the stainless steel is magnetic, our old lg wasn't.; couldn't put magnets on the front of that old fridge. not sure how useful the wifi app will be. i tend to be a set and forget type of fridge user.

Im very happy with my samsung fridge. Best purchase yet. Where do I start. Let’s start with the delivery. With the pandemic everywhere, I pondered whether I was even still interested in receiving my Samsung fridge. So the deliver day came. To the exact detail the delivery men followed every instruction super great and very courteous. I asked for my new fridge to be left by my door. I was completely overwhelmed by it's size. Once the unwrapping was completed it was time to push the refrigerator into the apartment. First thing i noticed was, the ease to moved this huge appliance. I was able to pivit the fridge into the apartment and i easily push into the kitchen. This applicance added a fresh modern look to our entire kitchen. I love the sleek design and recessed handles. I love the digital display function super easy to figure out and use. Having a 4 year old boy who gets himself into everything, the locking features are fantastic. I rather enjoy the water and Ice dispenser feature. It makes adding ice to my morning coffee fun. The two minute built in alarm is helpful especially when my son leaves the refrigeratoer door open. The first time this happened i was like why is the fridge beeping? I can't beleive this samsung Fridge comes with a a 10 year warranty. Samsung this refrigerator far passes my expecation.

I love my new Samsung fridge. It is beautiful and spacious. My family and I recently purchased land and are building a new home and this fridge is perfect. I love the color and overall design. It fits perfectly flush with our counters and with the handles being recessed instead of on the front of the doors it really looks sleek. I also like how much room is in the door. A gallon of milk and tea can easily fit in one of the bins. The adjustable top shelf is so handy, I no longer struggle to find a place for hard to fit items and it makes organizing much easier. I have two rowdy boys and am happy to say that the fingerprint resistance feature really works, I was impressed. It is fantastic fridge!

My wife just receive this fridge today never thought that color would go good with the rest of the kitchen but it did. We plug the fridge in started running very quiet, it looks like it can hold all of our things for that we have from the old fridge. The drawers are perfect for my toddler son to easily get into the fridge. My favorite feature of this fridge is the flex drawer where I can put things in flat like a cake without having any problems , it was easy for it to slide out. I also like that it has more space in the freezer area that I can put more things in.

i was so excited when i got home to see my new refrigerator. it looks great and it was already plugged in by the installers. unfortunately it has an unsightly black 10-year warranty sticker on the front of the refrigerator. i tried to peel it back with my fingernail but it didn't budge. i looked at pictures online and none of the pictures showed this sticker so i tried removing it some more. this horribly ugly sticker seem to be a permanent fixture to the front face of the refrigerator. i finally got it off but there was a permanent glue residue left. like an idiot i got my kitchen sponge with scour pad and tried to take off the glue with some dish soap and totally scratched my brand new refrigerator.

The fridge was an excellent price but the inability to adjust shelves and bins in both freezer and fridge is disconcerting. The literature stated one shelf could be adjusted but there was none. The nozzle to get water out of the door is way too forward. I have some glasses that miss the nozzle, creating a mess. Thinking I would get used to both of these features is not working. Finally adjusted to no door handles, but initially cut the top of my hand reaching for the wrong with the wrong hand. A solid average appliance but noisy.

The Good news! l love the refrigerator overall. Fits perfectly, doors open fully even inserted between kitchen cabinets, and very quiet. The bad news....so the ice maker makes perfect ice cubes. The problem is that I have it set on "cubes" and at least 50 percent of the time i get "crushed" ice out of the door. I called warranty support, first time they didn't show up during the 4 hour window. Called again, someone came out, took it apart, put it back together said it was fixed....but it still gives crushed ice half the time..

Ice dispenser needs re hauling

This came with a new house purchase in July. It is quiet and seems to freeze and cool fine. The issue is with the ice maker. It is too small and clogs constantly. Also when you put your glass under the dispenser, it is set so far back that the ice hits or misses the glass or cup and goes all over the floor. This happens no matter what cup you are using.

Pros - Looks nice, very quite Cons - Seriously Samsung no freaking dispenser light?? water comes out so much at an angle and far from back of dispenser area that can really only use large glass, small glasses and water bottle fill ups very difficult, also, bottom surface is not level so only certain sizes sit evenly in there, should be a flat grid on top.CAN NOT adjust shelves unless Samsung thinks "removing" a shelf is considered adjustable.. Ice maker storage small, and v e r y .. s l o w.. dispensing of ice..freezer compartment way too small, and before you say, I knew size of fridge.. yes, I had a kitchen aid this size and way more room on both sides of fridge.. overall, not happy, and very upset with myself for choosing this fridge..but stuck with it now

It looks very nice. Fit my limited space perfect. Easy to reach everything. The delivery and installation with XPO is very good. The temperature settings is not accurate. With the original settings the installation person did for me frig 37 freezer 0, veg and eggs frozen. I set to frig 43 and freezer -1 within several adjustments, now it is perfect. I could not use the SmartThings because my cell phone has only 1.9G ram. I may have to upgrade my phone.

This fridge has been terrible from the start. As others have mentioned, the ice maker is total garbage! Within 3 months it stopped making ice, and then started again, but the tray would dump the ice before it was fully frozen which would then break and the water would freeze in a solid chunk in the ice holder. Now there is a crack on the bottom of the ice tray mold, so it drips into the holder and creates a constant solid piece of ice. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance (side note: we also bought a Samsung dishwasher is no good either)

It's a fridge that fits in my tight fridge space... and that's about the best I can say for it. The shelves are not adjustable, the freezer space is much smaller than my last fridge of the same dimensions, there is no light on the ice/water maker which is just cheap. Speaking of - the water dispenser nozzle is too far out meaning when you press a glass against the dispenser button, the water dispenses in front of the glass - and I'm talking a pint glass or other full-size glassware, not a sippy cup. This means holding the glass out and pushing the button with your finger, which isn't optimal (or sanitary, or easy for guests who aren't aware of this). My icemaker continues to make ice even when it's turned off - and even after having two service calls and a part replaced which didn't fix this. I do like the fingerprint-resistant finish - it does get prints and smudges but they wipe off with just a towel. And you WILL get prints and smudges since there are no exterior handles and fingers nearly always touch the exterior when grabbing the pocket handle. But on to the con for the exterior/finish - The stainless is SUPER thin and not very durable - I've ended up with a bunch of small dents after less than a year; I can't even figure out how they got there as they are near the top edge, not where anyone would ever touch or brush against. While I like the sleek appearance, the dents detract from the look, and I'm concerned about how poor the exterior will look 5 or 10 years down the road. Add in the function issues, and overall I can't recommend.

I bought a brand new model of this one and it damaged after two years. The model is sleek and well designed, but useless.

Water leaks and builds up ice on bottom of freezer

Only less than 2vyears old and its leaking water into the area under the bottom freezer bin. We had to remove the freezer bin, becuasevthe water turns into ice then you can't remove the freezer bin . So now we have the freezer bin removed and must daily beak and remove the ice from the bottom of the freezer. If you let it build up water drips onto kitchen floor. I do not recommend buying this Refrigerator. It's our second Refrigerator to do this .

poor quality exterior

Dents very easily..... bumping into it with a laundry basket/a box/bag of groceries just the right way leaves dents/deep lines/dents in the 'stainless steel', more like tin can density. I am disappointed in the quality of the exterior... we don't have little kids, just every day walking through the kitchen and a slight bump damages the exterior..

Poor Quality

I bought this a less than a year and half ago. The compressor went out. Was told by the repairman this is a common issue with Samsungs. If I could I would give zero stars.

Freon Leak

2 years old and a freon leak. Not covered under 5 years parts and labor because excluded under sealed system? Makes no sense. Said will cover parts but Labor is big $. Plus now big service fee by its Samsung approved dealer? No urgency with a freon leak? Very disappointed

Awful service, and longevity

Do not buy this refrigerator. Ice maker broke just shy of 3 years, due to motor issue. Parts are quoted at at 450, which is about 1/3 of the cost of the fridge. Samsung repair is awful, is not helpful, can't even give a quote on labor costs. Also taking out the ice box, is impossible without spilling ice everywhere.

Ice Maker is no good

My husband and I purchased all new Samsung appliances when we purchased our home. This was the worst mistake. Shortly after the 30 days we started experiencing issues. The icemaker is the worst. It freezes up and makes a huge mess. When trying to dispense ice it gets clogged and does not come out properly. In fact we purchased a countertop icemaker because we can no longer use the one on the fridge. When trying to get an appointment it is a long process and inconvenience. Needless to say they call and make an appointment for said date, on that date they call and then schedule the appointment. Like why can't I get the actual appointment the first time instead of having to wait another month. I do not recommend this fridge. Also, the whole sales pitch of fingerprints...they are visible and it does show smears.

Refrigerator is nice, but the ice maker is cheap

The refrigerator was included (new) with the purchase of our house. The refrigerator has worked fine, but we have always had issues with the water dispenser and especially ice maker. The ice maker would always get clogged in the small opening and you would get ice all over the floor when you took out the bucket to unclog it. The opening would also freeze up and now, there is a leak in the ice tray, so the water leaks straight down into the bucket. We now have a block of ice in the bucket and the ice maker is useless. We are buying bags of ice for our needs and the refrigerator is only a little over a year old. I hate to give it such a low rating, but we use the ice maker and water dispenser daily with our family. This refrigerator does not fit a family's needs. If we buy another fridge, it won't be a Samsung.

Poor design choices and lacking freezer space

Fridge: Enough space for 1-2 person 1 week worth of healthy groceries. Freezer: Too darn tiny of a freezer, There should be at least as much space as the fridge for the freezer for those who meal prep and keep frozen supplies on hand for a week or two ahead. Water filter: INCREDIBLY terrible location, very inconvenient to change, this needs to be redesigned to be on top instead of bottom, makes no sense at all, worst part: no valve internally for the water line, so if you have had a terrible design of where the water tap for the fridge is located (i.e. behind it), you have to move this hunk of junk every 6 months to turn the actual infrastructure tap off, then you can safely replace the filter. The stainless "steel" is paper thin, INCREDIBLY EASY to push in and bruise/deform, even by a simple contact with a cabinet door knob next to it. water dispenser push lever/button/surface is way too deep and not very sensitive, you have to press the top of it, and there is also quite a bit of delay involved if you are not familiar with this fridge. Additionally, the opening for the icemaker/water dispenser is not wide enough to accommodate a large dog bowl or a properly sized ice bucket. When dispensing ice, no matter what container you try to use, even a simple glass, YOU WILL GET ice particles thrown around with force and on the ground... safety hazard. Nice things: Autodefrost Lighting is ok, could be better on the sides across every shelf Freezer lighting is miserable if you do not have outside lighting to accomodate All in all 2/5 stars is generous for this fridge for being a "smart" fridge and having the latest ux design concepts available in this day and age which this lacks sorely. Considering the price, meh. My next fridge will be very researched.

Positives: Refrigerator cools down quickly and keeps food cold. Interior design provides great view of all items, top to bottom, and allows good ergonomic access to all areas. Internal lighting is great. Temperature settings inside the door display current temperature in refrigerator and freezer and allow options for lower temperatures if needed. Negatives: External-door ice-water dispenser does not have a light. This is insane that anyone would design an ice-water dispenser this way. At night, you can't see how much ice your putting in your glass. The bin for the ice (inside the freezer) is far too small and the ice maker does not make ice frequently enough. At it's coldest setting, the freezer is not quite as cold as my old refrigerator that broke (probably 15-years old or more). I'm guessing this is a so-called "Energy Saving" feature, which was built into the design of this new model, but it is not a smart idea if it doesn't keep your frozen items cool enough. If I would have known these facts prior to my purchase, it probably would have been a deal-breaker. If you eat ice all the time, like I do, and want to see what's going in your glass at the dispenser, then this refrigerator is not for you.

Greens and veggies are getting spoiled

The house came with this model when we bought the home, the manufacture date shows June 2021. Just stumbled upon this page and saw so many people have the same issue as ours, the greens and veggies are getting over freezing and getting spoiled, is there a fix for this and can we still contact support to fix this?

i really like samsung products but this one left much to be desired i will start by the cooling issue, vegetables freeze even at the recommended temperature the biggest let down is the water dispenser. it is placed so badly that if you try to fill up a bottle or glass, you have to use one hand to hold it at the edge, and the other to push the lever behind, is not on an angle, also water drips after really, no light? my 15-year-old fridge has it .i should had asked or test it but i presumed light comes standard, never seen one without it .overall is ok but i would not buy it again if i had the choice

after 14 months ice maker stopped working

we have had this fridge for 14 months now and the ice maker has stopped working. did the self test, unplugged it, etc. self test passes, but no water is getting into the ice cube tray. the solenoid valve makes a buzzing instead of clicking sound, so it seems it is already defect. submitted for service, hopefully samsung can fix this under warranty

i was so excited to get a new fridge and really thought this was great when it first showed up. then, i realized that counter depth is meaningless. i have to remove my cabinets so get it to fit. it was the same size as my other fridge but you couldn't open the doors because of the design. it was so pretty and then, i realized that it is much smaller on in the inside. there isn't as much space as you think there is. the worst of all of this and i am really angry about is that it is ruining my food! you can't make the temp in the fridge any higher than 40 degrees. everything is freezing! lettuce is ruined! this product has caused more problems than it is worth. buy something else!!!
