⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn't be happier with my LG refrigerator, model LTCS20020W/01. It's the perfect combination of functionality, design, and reliability. The spacious interior is thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of room for all my groceries and a top freezer that's easy to access. The cooling performance is exceptional—everything stays fresh, and I’ve never had an issue with uneven temperatures. It's also impressively quiet, which is a huge plus. Great second refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator about 6 weeks ago and so far it has been a perfect solution for what we were looking for. We keep the fridge in the garage and it provides us some overflow capacity and was perfect for the holidays. Fridge works well and seems to run economically.

Good basic frig, with high efficiency

Installed 12/6/23 Good basic frig, last frig was bottom freezer but didn't like that all newer bottom freezers are drawers. Needed to upgrade my organization to be able to find things while bending over and have done that with clear plastic boxes; fortunately can get frequently used stuff in the door. Not many options for my available space. Like that this is very quiet and seems to hardly ever run. Black exterior fingerprints easily. Have learned to close softly to prevent freezer from "popping" (could not adjust the "pop" out with suggestions to leveling).

I was long over due for a new fridge, it was getting very loud. This purchase is so sleek. Very quiet hardly even know it is running. I added the ice maker I never had one, and I am so glad I added it! Also very quiet and has great output. Very clean lines of design with no handles. Stays clean from finger prints, just needs a weekly wipe down. Space inside is very generous, deep door shelves help keep thing organized. Would buy again!

Good Fridge

I purchased the 20 cubic foot refrigerator for additional cold food storage and back up unit. The fridge is quiet. cant even tell that it is running. It has ample storage and bins for my use. It was delivered in a timely fashion, and was undamaged. I hope that this unit lasts as long as the one it replaced.

Faulty fan

Great Second Refrigerator

We purchased this refrigerator last month to replace one that no longer worked. It's the perfect size for a second refrigerator. We keep extra food and drinks in it so we never run out of something we need when preparing a meal. It's especially handy when we have family visiting and they bring so much food and drinks with them. The interior is well lit with plenty of room. We keep the temperature set to 3 and it's perfect for both the refrigerator and freezer. It's very quiet and has a sleek look to it. We are very pleased with this purchase. Ronna

I bought this back in May (it's September now) and so far we are satisfied with the performance. One critique I have is that there is a demo mode, which allows the unit to appear on, but not produce any cold, which is easily tripped using the temperature control button in the back. I wish this button were separate from temperature control or it was less easily tripped.

We got thIS Frig as a replacement for the basement/ garage one that failed. I look forward to many years of holidays and family events that the extra room of this Frig provides. One question was I know that the 20 inch does not have the Light and the 30 inch does. Would LG be open to making a light only fit where the ice maker would be? You already have the hub and all you would need is the light adapted to the connection. I would buy it.

Excellent size for my top freezer refrigerator (not too large & not too small), fits perfectly in my kitchen. It has enough storage inside the refrigerator and a perfect size freezer. The color matches my other appliances, but even if it didn't, still it blends in with the kitchen faucet and the stove’s vent. I bought a LG refrigerator for our home, and I must say this particular fridge is roomy and cooled right up within 30 minutes after I placed the food inside. Easy to maintain. (Wiping interior down/doors). Shelving is spacious for those bells and whistles. I also purchased the ice cube/freezer kit since I live in the desert in the middle of summer. Easy setup. Completely happy with this refrigerator. Thank you LG.

Roomingness, lots of room

I'm hoping this last longer than my frigidaire refrigerator. Had problems many times of not cooling. Four times with the freezer part and the last time the fridge. Only this a year and a half. Do they know you much money of food I had to throw away. They said the freezer was to full. I never blocked the vents inside. I'm hoping I have a great experience with LG. I never owned anything from them.

Love the refrigerator for the room and it worked great until the fan in the freezer went out in less than 2 years. Reporting it to get it serviced was a pain; call this number, call that number, etc. Finally able to coordinate my schedule with the service tech and he arrived with the part, had it fixed and on his way in about 20 minutes. Excellent service from him.

I was happy to find the perfect replacement for my old refrigerator which needed a new seal and was hard to clean. This refrigerator was on sale before Memorial Day and had the perfect measurements for my small kitchen. It has an energy star which should help with the electric bill. This stainless steel refrigerator looks good with my other appliances.

I’ve had this refrigerator for about 3 weeks now and am really happy with it. It holds a lot, it’s super quiet, and so far the stainless steel finish has been easy to keep clean. The integrated recessed handles are great for opening the doors, and the doors close securely by themselves. This was not the case with the French-door model I had previously, so I really appreciate this feature. I bought refrigerator thermometers to monitor the temperature of both the refrigerator and freezer compartments, and both areas are consistently maintaining the recommended temps. Something else I appreciate is the the door shelves are so sturdy and can accommodate most big/tall items. I do wish that the refrigerator had a meat/cheese drawer in addition to the crisper drawers, but that’s my only complaint. One quick note: this refrigerator has styrofoam insulation within the cooling vents at the rear of the temperature control unit. At first I thought the installers had overlooked this and forgotten to remove it, but it is part of the unit and should remain in place. Do not attempt to remove it. This should be communicated more clearly in the product manual as I noticed several other inquiries about it online.

Have only had this frig for 14 days and so far we like it. This frig was the only one we could find that had a place for a gallon of milk in the door, really like the veggie/ fruit draws. The shelfs seem to be sturdy & plenty of room on them, the ice maker we bought for it is nice & still has lots of room on the top freezer shelf where the ice maker is. Wish the freezer had a light in it, it runs quiet we like that

This is a great refrigerator. It has plenty of room in both the freezer and refrigerator sections. It is so sturdy and well built. We especially like the glass shelves for getting food cold quickly. We also like the way the side door shelves are made. They hold a variety of different heights of containers and are very easy to clean. It has a nice, smooth look to the front because there are no door handles. Both doors open easily with recessed sections on each.

Great As A Second

This refrigerator is a replacement for one that just died. It is also the refrigerator that we have in the garage. It holds all the overflow that we can't fit in our kitchen refrigerator. The outside is sleek and it's well-lit on the inside. It also runs very quietly. The temperatures are holding steady in both compartments which are set at 3. By no means is this a top of the line model but we are only using it as a second refrigerator. So far we are very pleased with it. This is the 4th LG appliance we have purchased in 5 years, the first was an over the range microwave and next a washer and dryer. They all work great and we are happy with them.

Would Buy Again

How do I feel now? Refrigerator installed mid-July. As of today, giving it a strong 4+ rating.So far all is good. Admittedly, I keep reminding myself I decided on a fridge smaller (from approx 22 cf to 20 cf) than I've had in past, so still adjusting to that. Pros: * Love the sleek look and "pocket" handle. Some mentioned door too close to floor, but no issue for me * Runs much quieter than previous fridge * Fruit/veggie bin performance best of any I've ever had * Sturdy glass shelves * Door bins - sturdy & will hold two gallon containers of milk * Freezer & fridge temps are holding my selected temps nicely. Cons: (again, acknowledging I downsized)... * Miss fridge meat keeper drawer a lot but such a drawer would eat up too much usable space * Doable but wish there was more fridge door storage - just enough room for my condiments and milk; bottled beverages now go on fridge shelves. In summary, pleased overall based on my downsizing decision and would recommend to others.

We've had this unit in our rental condo for ~1 month. So far, so good. This was a big improvement over the new Frigidaire it replace. We had to send it back for credit, which was a hassle. The LG has a much improved ice maker, shelves, etc.

I wrote a previous review; this represents an update. What I like? Great price. Nice clean design. No trouble-prone auto ice maker. Good warranty service (leak in butane line) in a fairly remote geographical location. Generous corporate response to request for compensation for lost contents. What I don't like? Hinged on the left as you face it, the right bottom corner is so sharp that it can painfully injure the top of your unshod foot. After experiencing this, I got and easily installed a child corner guard from Amazon.

Quality & Great Price

Delivered about a month ago. Intentionally purchased smaller fridge than what I've had in the past, so it's been a wee bit of an adjustment. Took me a while to check & recheck fridge + freezer temps since the way the air circulates differently compared to previous refrigerators but all is set as I want now. Door shelves are sturdy. LED lighting is great - easy on the eyes yet bright. Love the sleek styling w/o handle. Will admit I truly miss a meat keeper in the fridge section and wish door shelving allowed flexibility of placing butter keeper on other side. My other (larger) fridge had split glass shelving so I could "scatter" placement based on various content sizes, so I really miss that, too. I will add that when looking at any brand or model, at least in my price and style range, the split shelving simply isn't available. Still, I knew there would be a trade off when I purchased. The veggie bin temp settings seem to keep my veggies much better than previous refrigerators I've had. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase so far.

I had purchased another brand for the garage and returned it after 4 days. I consider LG products as being of good quality and when I saw this one at a reasonable price, I chose it over the others I was considering because of the LG name. I looked at a lot of different refrigerators before deciding on this. I was limited in space, had an 18 cubic foot, and this is a 20 cubic foot, but so much more room inside. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Top freezer appliances are not my favorite, but this was the only option In a small space. This is a very simple refrigerator with few highlights. The freezer section is simply a box, so it gets pretty disorganized. The refrigerator section has the bare minimum two drawers at the bottom, a place to put butter, and that is about it. I prefer side-by-side or bottom bottom freezer units, but there was nothing available at the time we purchased this refrigerator because of the limited space in our kitchen.

Pro's The Interior space is spacious in both the refrigerator and the freezer. The humidity control for both of the Fruit and Vegetable drawers works great. My old one only sent humidity to one drawer. The fact that it's a energy star is good and it keeps things cold in the door too. Con's I wish it had the option to add a deli meat drawer. I wish the unit was on a pedestal or something as my husband and I are short people and you have to bend down so far Everytime you open the door. And when you stand up I can't tell you how many times I have hit my head. In 48 years we've never had a frig where this happens. I also wish one shelf in the frig was tall enough for a gallon of milk because I don't like me milk in the door.

I bought this refrigerator as an exact replacement for the very old refrigerator in my rental. Purchased on 11/19/23, delivered on 3/26/24. It blew my mind that a major manufacturer could lose a large item for 4 months! So far the refrigerator does what it is supposed to do. I do wish the inside LED lights were brighter or could be adjusted for brightness. It is a quiet and energy consumption is good. It has no real "features" just cooling and freezing. Manual isn't much help either, I read it a number of times.

lack of space

The refrigerator works well so far and is nice looking. My biggest regret is the way the refrigerator is designed makes it difficult to store food. They designed so the temperature box hangs way down and takes up a lot of space.You can adjust the shelves, but that doesn't really help because it takes away from space on the other shelves. There are two shelves on the door which are spacious. I would have liked to have a third one. I have to really think how much space I have when doing my shopping now.

A few months after we received our new refrigerator I noticed a noise coming from the back of the unit. I removed the panel and found a piece of plastic that had become unglued, and was being hit by a fan. I cut off the poly piece, reinstalled the back panel, and all was well, until one of the door shelves broke last month, 14 months into my ownership. Not a good sign…

Had this brand new fridge for about 3 months. Freezer door is not held closed by magnets or latch and will pop open when the lower door is closed (air pressure?). Sometimes it remains open just slightly, but not enough to be apparent. Left my place for two days and upon return, nearly all items in the freezer had thawed.

We bought this fridge in July and are not happy. Fridge is always at 55, freezer ices up every few weeks and fridge is even warmer. Door is too low too the ground, hits my bare feet. Shelving in the door impractical, huge handles of crisper drawers in way of lowest possible door shelf. Not cooling is the biggest issue, though. Light is always on. Technicians have not scheduled appointment.

Refrigerator makes sounds like a jackhammer

This refrigerator was a given to me a gift, which is sad because it was intended to replace a 25-year old refrigerator that was still working. Right now, after only 18 months, the back of the freezer compartment is making jackhammer noises and the refrigerator compartment is not cooling below about 58 degrees, causing mold to grow and forcing me to throw everything out. I checked to see if there was any ice build-up blocking the vents and everything is clear. I can't believe that LG products are only made to last for 18 months when I can pick up 25-year old refrigerators that are still running. This sours me on their entire line of products.

Listen to other reviews and don't buy this. The shelves came cracked. They only replaced one within the first year for free. Now I have to pay to replace all the others, including the door shelves. I never put anything heavy on them either. The materials are just poor quality. Every once in a while the fridge gets warm for no reason. This fridge is only two years old and it has all these problems.

No Compatible Icemaker?

My refrigerator was delivered yesterday and the LG LK65C icemaker was delivered today. Neither the water valve bracket nor the water flow tube on the ice maker were compatible with this refrigerator. After reviewing a few of these posts, I see that LG should have known about this and made a change to the literature that states the LG LK65C icemaker is compatible with the LTCS 20020 refrigerator. I spent an hour and a half on the phone this afternoon, and got nowhere with LG. I was asked to call back tomorrow (02/09/2024) to get in touch with parts. When I tried to get in touch with them today (several times), I got into an endless loop.

I am sorry not to give a positive review: freezer ices up every few weeks, fridge is never colder than 55. The shelf spacing inside not easy to organize items, crisper handles too big and no lowest shelf on door because of that. Door too close to floor, my bare feet get caught if I don’t watch out. The light is always on. The technician was in contact with me, but is a few hours away and has not yet scheduled a visit.

But then it stopped cooling properly and it’s been a headache. We will need to rebuild one of the systems.
