I've had it a few weeks. I didn't want or need the latest features and I thought the price was fair. It's not as substantial as my old one of 28 years. The plastic feels cheap and still has some untrimmed flashing. The description didn't say the stainless was fingerprint resistant, and it's certainly not.

I bought this refrigerator a month ago. Unlike my initial concern that it may be small, it is quite spacious to accommodate our grocery. Though not fancy, it is working well with minimum noise. Highly recommended! Kudos to LG!!

Bought this item five months ago and it is great. Getting used to transparent shelving and cabinets as our last fridge was 20 years old. Lots of space in both sections. Just make sure you do not inadvertently push the freezer section slide to "5" when it should be "3"!

I had to replace the refrigerator that was installed when my house was built. It was forty years old and had been a great refrigerator, but it was getting past its' time. It was making a variety of noises, but still working. I knew it was about at its' end. I got a new LG refrigerator and love it. When I first got it, I keep going to check to see if it was working, it is so quiet. I LOVE it.

Great basic fridge

I bought this fridge when my last fridge (circa 2009) was making loud noises. This fridge is the same as my last fridge (different brand) except much quieter (although it did get a little louder the first few days). The shelves in the door do not adjust which caused me to rearrange the way I organized those items (including open wine bottles!), and there is no meat/cheese drawer which also required some adjustments. Wish it had those features but it wasn't worth trying to do an exchange and that's what I get for shopping on line instead of in person. The only other issue of note is the door opens VERY close to the floor so I need to be careful if I am barefoot. I can see the door hitting my foot. These are all things I did not consider when shopping online. It's not LG's fault - I just wasn't thinking. This fridge was highly rated by Consumer Reports and I am pleased with it. I also bought a few other LG appliances.

Very quiet. The stainless shows fingerprints but what doesn’t. There is plenty of room in the fridge for all the necessities. My only disappointment is that it doesn’t have a deli drawer. There’s a dairy/butter drawer but no deli one. I had to get a plastic fridge organizer for lunch meat and cheese.

There are many features I like about this fridge. The door bins hold a gallon jug of milk and my iced tea pitcher easily with lots of room to store condiments. I love the fruit/veggie bins handles that slide out effortlessly. I love the LED light in the fridge-it’s very illuminating. I would have liked a smaller bottom door shelf like I saw in the instruction book on another model, but appears it would fit in this fridge. The small slide out shelf on another model for cold cuts and cheese would also have been an awesome accessory. Another curious thing is there is no light in the freezer. But overall this refrigerator makes me happy.

I really had a hard time deciding on this fridge but I'm glad I chose it. I love the ice maker, it's just the right size so it doesn't take a lot of room out of thr freezer. The fridge is smaller than my previous one but it holds so much! That was a good surprise. The stainless steel exterior brightens the kitchen. The light in the fridge is bright making it easy to see what is in the fridge. This was a good buy.

My fridge was delivered on Feb 3rd. Absolutely LOVE it. Of course, the ice maker was a must have, and it works perfectly. Love the huge crispers on the bottom for fruit and veggies. Like that the shelves easily move to suit my needs. Both fridge and freezer space are very ample. For a "smaller" size fridge, I couldn't ask for anything more. It's perfect!

I bought this fridge a year ago, and it was doing great but then it froze over somewhere and the fan stopped pulling cold air to the fridge, thankfully LG sent out a repairman to fix it and it only took 2 times for him to get it fixed. It is working now but I am still constantly worried it will break down again. The fridge itself is good, and does the job.

I knew it did not have a deli drawer when I bought it. I thought I wouldn't miss it but I really do. I have a plastic container on the shelf for cheese and lunch meats. I don't love doing that but I like those items contained. The one other issue I have had to get accustomed to is that the door opens so low to the floor that it scraped the skin off the top of my toes. Believe me when I say, it didn't take me too long to learn to keep my toes back from the door! I love the bright light and the large capacity crisper drawers.

Keeps food cold

While our new LG fridge keeps things COLD as it should, we're having some trouble with a loss of 3 inches of height from our old fridge. That shows up in only 2 door shelves instead of 3. And there's no specific cheese-cold meats drawer; our old fridge had 2 lower drawers and 1 underneath the top shelf. So we're having to adjust HOW we pack our food in the fridge. The freezer is equal with the old one so no issues there. And the icemaker works like a champ. If you are purchasing this unit, pay attention to those kind of details.

I bought this a month ago and for the most part I love it. The best is the fact that everything is visible. The shelves are all clear so you can peak underneath to see what is in the back, maybe you won't have any surprises that are growing mold because you forgot them. Even the door shelves are clear making it seem larger than it is. Plenty of room for storing all your goodies. The freezer is two shelves and roomy enough, even with the ice maker. We didn't want it on the door because too many people have complained about how it drips, how the ice goes all over the floor. It is certainly sleek enough with no handles, but takes some getting used to if you had a refrigerator with handles. We are still looking for the handles. All in all, happy and would actually seek an LG appliance in the future.

I have had my LG refrigerator for 3 months, and have been pleased with it. I like the size, and the inside layout and storage space. However, I miss having a drawer for cheeses and lunch meats/bacon, as my old fridge had. Also, the doors are hard to close without actually pushing them, i.e. not lightly pushing them. I assume they will loosen up with time, but I have thought the door was shut and walked out of the kitchen, only to comeback and see the door still standing open. I still recommend this item, and am glad I purchased it.

GREAT for the PRICE! For the size very happy how much fits in the refrig. I Like that it does not have handles, gives more room when opening door against the wall. Freezer fits tons of food compared to the old refrig. There's no light in the freezer but that's not a problem. Other reviews called this out as a problem but it does not bother me. Open the refrig and freezer at same time and refrig light let's you see in the freezer. Ice cube maker works fine and holds plenty of ice. I have the stainless steel version. It will fingerprint. Keep the plastic on that it comes wrapped in and it limits the finger prints. Still looks good too. VERY QUIET TOO!

Bought the unit to replace a refrigerator that had failed. Our criteria was a refrigerator that was readily available and one that would fit within our available space. This unit fit the criteria so we went with it. Functions well with two draw backs. 1- it is deeper than most, so it is a stretch to reach to the back of the unit. 2- not enough drawers and compartments for small items. Had to buy containers to store smaller items.

Love my new fridge! Only problem I had was when delivery brought it they had to reverse the door and it wasn’t adjusted quite right and I had to call LG service. LG service quickly sent a very competent person, who made the adjustments. It stays cold enough now and makes ice like crazy!

Good basic refrigerator

This refrigerator was purchased during the pandemic and we did not have the opportunity to see a floor model since the store sold out everything available. So, the unit was purchased using online information only. The unit works fine and the installation process went smoothly. There are a few items that could be improved upon: 1) It was not noticed until the unit was received that there was no light in the freezer. It did not show up in the feature list, so it is our fault for not picking up on this. I would expect that a freezer light would be standard in a freezer. 2) There were only two door shelves even though there was space for three. Again, we should have noted this in the online specifications. If would have been nice to have the inner door be designed to accomodate a post sale shelf addition from the parts department. It would be a minimal factory cost to have the shelf accomodation molded into the door when manufactured. 3) There was no drawer accomodation. Similar to number two, it would have been relatively easy to design this capability into the product for aftermarket purchase.

I’ve had the refrigerator for 4 months now, I absolutely love how cold it keeps my drinks! My food stays fresher. I also like the ease of opening the drawers. And lastly I really appreciate the construction and thickness of the plastic pieces for the in door shelves (major issue with last fridge). The only thing that I don’t like is all the finger prints.

interior layout issues

Surprised to find that of all the things we took out of our previous fridge of roughly the same dimensions, only about half fit back into our new LG LTCS20030S. Time will tell if this fridge does a better job maintaining even temperature, but the interior design seems odd in that the shelf spacing does not well match bottles, condiment jars, tupperware containers, etc. Much of the interior volume is occupied by the door and/or drawer handles...

I have some issues

Bought LG refrigerator with icemaker two weeks ago. Like the look of stainless steel door but impossible to keep fingermarks and other marks off door-looks awful. Would prefer outside door handles rather than recess in cooler/freezer to open door. No way to pause icemaker. ice sensor doesn't hold ice from falling if you try to raise sensor to up position-previous model I owned (not LG) you could raise ice sensor to a locked up position to pur ice on hold. Temp setting in refrigerator is at lowest level of intensity, #1. Refrigerator thermometer I use still registers below freezing temps in refrigerator.

I bought this October 2021. It is great looking and very well organized for the most part. The doors however are ruining everything especially the freezer door. From day one they would close tightly only 70% of the time. You’d never know until you’d hear the fridge running nonstop that something was wrong. A&E service was sent out last week for warranty service and took off/reinstalled both doors. Now I’d say the doors are closing tightly about 90% of the time. Looks like I will have to learn to deal with ice crystals and food that has been slightly thawed/refrozen over and over.

I recently purchased an LG gas range and due to limited space in my kitchen, would like to match it with a top freezer refrigerator, however, my concerns are print proof, third tray inside door, and deli drawer. Although, I would love to have those items, they're not an absolute deal breaker, but are causing some difficulty with making my final decision.

I had this fridge for less than year and the ice maker backup and froze the line and the cubes got stuck. Would like new ice maker or new fridge.....

Not the “WOW” factor.....yet

Unfortunately when your refrigerator dies you have to act swiftly in order to replace it. I wish I would’ve had more time to investigate as I would’ve perhaps gone with a different option. Due to our size allowance we were limited to what we could get. And our old fridge was 25 years old, and they just don’t make a lot of bisque and almond fridges anymore. I also didn’t want to have to replace all my appliances to match. So we have a stainless steel fridge now and an almond dishwasher and stove. The fridge we looked at was a size bigger than what we needed it had the deli tray in it which I really liked and the light in the freezer. After our refrigerator was delivered we found out the size that we purchased does not have the light and does not come with the deli tray. That was quite the disappointment as we were not aware of this. We did call grand appliance and RC Lereve who is very good, wasn’t aware either that the smaller model didn’t have those features. I now have a pushbutton light in the freezer and a plastic box in the fridge for deli items. So as you can see it just not the while factor yet it’s going to have to grow on me. And the fingerprints is some thing I really have to get used to you have to wipe it down every single day. You also cannot put magnets on the front. It took a while to get the fridge they got it to us as quickly as they could and then it took an extra month to get the ice maker installed due to some scheduling issues. I had no ice cubes from Thanksgiving until January 2. Right during the holidays.I made ice cubes in trays but it just wasn’t the same. Would I recommend this, yes, it just needs to be clearly stated what options are available with the model.

A little disappointing for an LG product

We have had this refrigerator for about 3 to 4 months. We found ice cream melting in the freezer and ensured the freezer was set to the coldest level and moved the ice cream to a different area in the freezer and still experienced the same issue. It is an extra refrigerator for soda, water, beer and overflow items and we trust it for the drinks but won’t use the freezer portion or refrigerator part for items that we are concerned could spoil with uneven or inconsistent temperatures.

Shelving is not great

Why is the shelving boarder pieces breaking off. I purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago and it seems that each shelf boarder piece is breaking off. Everything else is good but now i have no shelves secured.

This product has been a disappointment 6 months into the purchase. If maker quit working. 7 months in the refrigerator door shelf broke into 2 pieces. 1 year in the main refrigerator shelves started cracking. It is be held together with glue and duct tape. DO NOT BUY.

Would return if I could, won't freeze my icecream!

I bought this a little over a month ago. This refrigerator and freezer does not get very cold. I have the temp set at coldest setting, but my icecream is very soft. In addition, to ice being made very slowly, I believe this is due to not getting cold enough in freezer. This is a second fridge for us for drinks, and extra freezer space. I had better luck buying 2nd hand models, but we decided this time to buy brand new to get a quality product, we did not get a quality product.

Terrible fridge, multiple parts have broken

We have had this fridge for about 5 years now and it continues to break in places. The ice machine stopped working a long time ago. The shelves on the doors have completely cracked on the bottom and are not useable. Now, the pieces holding together the vegetable bins have completely broken and the drawers no longer work. We are EXTREMELY disappointed with this product as it has been very defective. We are a household of two so I don't believe we are over-using it to the point of user error in it breaking.

Horrible product

Super angry about our LG Fridge/freezer. Only had it 16 months. Ice maker crapped out multiple times, so we replaced the ice maker. That worked for about 2 months and doesn't work at all anymore. Apparently the freezer doesn't keep a consistent temperature. Waste of a lot of money.

Didn't hold up.

It was only 7 months before the refrigerator would only cool to 52 on the highest setting, and the ice maker won't dump the ice unless it's reset each time. Also, 0 is the coldest it will go. I'm waiting on the only service provider in my area to squeeze me in for service before my warranty is up. On a positive note, it looks good.

Will never buy again

My refrigerator is still not working properly. It still makes very loud noises and the ice maker leaks and only makes ice every now and then. I need to unplug it to stop the loud noise-that works once in a while. I have again lost valuable food in both refrigerator and freezer. I would never buy anything LG. I also tired to log in on the website but it said there is no record of me…however, I received emails and texts from LG

Will not last

After 1 year it quit working. Didn't get the extended warranty the parts that went out the fan motor were not covered had to pay an appliance repairman to come out had to order the parts that were on back order and I'm still waiting still owe $700 on my credit card on the refrigerator.

We bought this fridge in March 2022 in May 2023 died. We are still trying to get it fixed. We do not recommend this fridge. Our previous fridge was another brand it lasted 28 years with zero repairs. It was a big mistake to buy an LG fridge

Power Draw

I received my brand new LG refrigerator on October 25. It was plugged into a dedicated 15A GFCI power outlet. The GFCI has tripped 5 times during the past 4 days. I am wondering if this is normal since 15A is a lot of current. So far, the experience with LG is not a great one. I hope LG has a good quality control system in place (six sigma?!?). I may have to return the refrigerator to get another brand.

Very nice basic fridge

This is an excellent refrigerator if you're space compromised and can't get a side by side or bottom freezer unit. The refrigerator compartment is spacious, the freezer is a little tight, but definitely not SO small you can't store frozen foods. One thing I really like is how quiet it is. I thought my old fridge was acceptable, but when I got this I realized how noisy my old one was! Seems to be very energy efficient. Doesn't run a lot. My only semi complaint is that the bottom door is long. You have to move your feet out of the way when you open the door as it won't go over your feet. A minor issue. All in all a good energy star rated appliance that looks good and works fine and costs half of some "modern" refrigerators on the market.

Don't Do It!

I was so excited to get a new refrigerator, especially an LG to go with my other LG appliances, which I love. The look was sleek with no bulky handles. Awesome, right. No. The doors on this don't stay closed at all. Close the fridge, the freezer pops open. shut the freezer, the fridge door pops open. It's horrible. And if you do not get the fingerprint resistant, your whole life is going to be wiping this down. 3 adults, and it looks like we have 8 kids. Seriously, it makes me miserable. Don't do it.
