Roomy and Efficient

I have been using this refrigerator in my RV for a full year now. It performs excellent, keeping everything cold as expected, runs quietly and has plenty of room compared to traditional RV refrigerators. Using the app makes turning the ice maker on and off a breeze, something needed when dry camping with no water hook ups. A really nice part of the app is that it alerts you if someone leaves door open, and for some reason guest seem to not pay attention and do that. I am very happy with this product and delighted that Renegade chose it.

Efficient and great look

It looks nice and I love the app interface. The only things you can do in the app are change the temperature of both the fridge and freezer and ensure the door is closed and it sends notifications if the door is open for a while. It cools well and has plenty of racks, but I wish it was a little more adjustable on the shelves. I have to store some things on its side like tall juices because they will only fit in the side doors, but as I buy new things I am conscious of height to fit. Overall like it!

Loving it! And still getting accustomed to new storage design. Very cold, cooled quickly after install, It replaced my 40 yo freezer top, fridge bottom- my old back & hips couldn’t handle it anymore. This design is so convenient, lots of storage in the doors, love the freezer sliding drawer; learned to put my tea & common drinks in the R door-to open just one door. I don’t need a dispenser-ice maker works great, I keep it turned Off a good bit. Very very pleased w my new Samsung. Love the convenience & design! For 2 people, I’ve yet to fill it up. I’m like a kid at Christmas, I’m still excited!! Thanks Samsung!

I love my refrigerator! I am 70 years old and it is so nice that I don’t have to bend over to get anything out of the refrigerator. Very roomy inside the refrigerator especially for the milk and orange juice in the door and I have plenty of room in the freezer. I love the countertop depth. It doesn’t stick out in the room.

Happy with one exception

I bought it last month and am happy so far with one exception. It is very difficult to store a gallon of milk on a shelf. It barely fits on the middle shelf and the shelf above it must be lifted slightly to get the container in/out. Literature says it can fit Gallon in the door but that is NOT optimal.

I bought this one due to it's size, it had to fit in my 5th wheel camper. It is replacing an earlier model that failed. So far so good. Every feature works well as described. The WIFI feature is useful if you have kids that leave the door open.

32 inch fridge can be hard to find, happy so far

I’ve had mine for almost 2 years, no problems. I bought mine elsewhere, but thought a review here might be helpful. I’ve been very pleased with the way this fits into my small kitchen space. With one inch behind it, It only stands out 3 inches from my 25 inch counter - this is the thickness of the doors. I have 1 inch of space between the counter and the fridge which is more than enough to fully open the door. A half sheet pan (13x18) will fit. I did not connect the ice maker. I did not connect it to WiFi. Mine has no handles, but has recesses in the doors instead. One improvement would be to alter these pockets so that they are easier to clean, since the one at the top of the freezer collects crumbs and stuff that is hard to get out of the corners without a q-tip. I use water and a microfiber cloth to clean it regularly. Never have used any special cleaner. The crisper drawer on the left side will open with only the left door open. Both doors must be open to access the right crisper drawer. Only the lowest shelf in the fridge can be adjusted. Mine is in the top position and the height of the space below it is 9.5 inches, which looks like enough to fit a large-ish turkey. Milk cartons and wine go in the door shelves. This is taller than most refrigerators. I am 5’ 5” and have no difficulty seeing and accessing items on the top shelf. The bottom freezer is ok, with 2 drawers at the top and a large bin below the drawers. Since I did not connect the ice maker that space is used for storage, which helps a lot. The lower bin is spacious, but if it is full you will be digging through stuff. This is standard for bottom freezers, but the payoff is that all your refrigerator space is at eye level. Works for our family of two, and I cook every day. It stays well stocked with veggies, leftovers, and all the usual staples and condiments. I also have a full sized upright freezer so this works for us. Temperature control is excellent. Looks nice.

Upgrade in technology

I love the upgrades that Samsung offer with their appliances. From connecting to your phone, to energy saving, to the sleek modern designs. Even the inside functionality and big shelves to fit everything you need! The real test was this Thanksgiving. This refrigerator definitely passed the test. Our guests loved the no handle look and the black stainless steel and no fingerprints! Win win win. Cannot go wrong here. My wife added bins and lazy Susan's inside to maximize space and accessibility. The kids love it too they don't need to ask for help anymore to reach something. This also results in less food waste because we can easily see everything and remember what was purchased. Overall amazing experience.

We love this refrigerator. Such an upgrade from the old one. Makes getting things so much easier. Has lots of room for proper organization. Which makes life easier. No bending over for the adults. The kids can easily open it and grab what they need. Everything is in clear view for quick access. The freezer has plenty of space for our daily needs. Very easy to clean no pesky fingerprints everywhere. Definitely happy we were able to purchase. Most likely will purchase a Similar version for my mom to make things easier for her too!!

Nice replacement for my RV

I bought this model to replace the one in my camper. It’s performed perfectly all summer and fall. Looks great in my RV too. Would recommend a model with handles though, it took a while to get used to grabbing the hidden handles and the stainless steel get smudged if I’m not careful. Other than that I’m satisfied with the refrigerator, it keeps my food & drinks cold!!

Like The Samsung Black Stainless Refrigerator

I like this product because it is space-saving and having the freezer on the bottom makes it so much easier. I like that it has interior LED lighting and that it can cooperate with my local energy provider to save energy as we are on one of their smart energy plans. I would say the downside is that within a few months some of the plastic door trays for holding condiments and such are cracking and that the black stainless steel finish immediately chipped. We are careful with our appliances and yet the finish is not quite perfect and we've had a few dents as well. I love the look of it overall and the ease of use.

I needed a counter depth fridge that was no more than 32” wide. And an ice maker was a must have. This fit the bill. I have a couple issues. No where close to enough light inside the refrigerator. The shelves are not set up for enough flexibility for taller items. The ice maker produces ice well, it just makes the freezer section very cold while on and icing things in the freezer. If you need a refrigerator for a tight space, this is a good purchase.

This refrigerator fits perfectly in our kitchen setup and works well to keep our foods chilled. The ice maker is a nice added touch though i wish the freezer was a little bigger. It being lower makes it easy for my toddler to grab her ice pops so that's nice. Also, the smart feature of letting me know via the smarthings app when the door is left open is neat.

I love this refrigerator it hold a lot, the food temperature is always consistent and seems to last longer than my last refrigerator. I like the fact that when the door is open too long it starts dinging to let you know, it's nice when the door isn't shut all the way, but is a little annoying when putting groceries away LOL. It is easy on the electric bill which is nice with the rates going up like they have. I like the no handle look, and the fact that you can use the grips on the top or the bottom. The stainless steel looks great, and no fingerprints or smudges from touching.

Small but convenient

It is small on the inside and can quickly be filled up if you aren’t mindful in your organizing. I have always used Samsung appliances for the past 8 years and never had any issues. I don’t see any with this one either.

I bought this fridge in March 2023 and it works without any problems so far. Especially I like the Wifi feature, when the doors are left open more than 2 min it notifies you on your phone and it sends you the daily kwh usage at a set time to your phone too. But I wouldn't say it's fingerprint-resistant at all.

BOUGHT it to replace an older hand me down fridge/freezer combo. Always told myself when that breaks, I'll get a smaller new one. Well it broke and I bought this counter depth smaller one. Better fit in the space and this is used as a secondary unit anyways so it was a great decision.

I've had the new 3-door Samsung refrigerator a couple of weeks and it has worked well. Its spaciousness makes it easy to see all the items on shelves and doors. The freezer unit is great and besides keeping food cold, the compartments allow fruits, vegetables, and meats to be easily separated along with a dedicated space for ice. Additionally, The stainless steel exterior enhances the apperarance of my grey and white kitchen. I'm happy with the new fridge.

2 weeks in, I like the design, enjoy the friendly app reminder to close the fridge. The salesman tricked me, this model doesn't appear to have a filter. So I bought the warranty for nothing unless this doesn't hold up very well. Also it is not fingerprint proof. I've got fingerprints all over.

Purchase this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago. It fits our kitchen so much better than our old fridge. The counter depth is the perfect size for my wife and I and we love how easy it is to find things compared with our old side by side. I do wish the main shelves moved more so we could fit taller and tens but at least one does so that helps. Tall items do fit in the doors shelves nicely though. We love having the freezer in the bottom. So much easier to find things. Icemaker works great too!

Bought this frig to replace a malfunctioning brand purchased in August 2023 and replaced once. So far, love it. Freezer in the bottom of the frig is a necessity for a tall husband. He doesn’t have to get on his knees to see what’s in the frig anymore. Love the French doors, never had them before. Only thing missing is a cheese drawer, but it’s a pretty frig. Thanks!

It’s a decent fridge, the counter depth dimensions are perfect for the spot allotment I have to put it. Is pretty quiet and does what it’s supposed to. Wish it had a deli/cheese drawer, but it only has the two crispers. Would also be nice if it had door handles. Stainless steel is supposed to be fingerprint resistant, but that’s not accurate, especially since it doesn’t have door handles. It’s a little resistant, but not fully. I also don’t like that the doors don’t automatically shut and the left side door you really have to force push close. Thankfully I don’t have younger children in the house or that would be problematic.

Clean and nice design, very functional with the french doors allowing for big dishes such as cakes or other larger/wider to be easily stored. Nice sized freezer box with plenty of space for storage. One wish maybe, is to have the option for no ice maker or retract the ice maker head to use that part of storage too, more efficiently. Nice price level and a very good fridge for that price.

I bought this refrigerator because it was a perfect fit for my space and there were no handles to take up space. It has a great finger print resistant finish. I was disappointed that the shelves weren’t very adjustable and I can only fit two gallons of milk in the door because of the height of the shelves. Overall it is a little noisier then I’d hoped but it has done a good job in cooling and freezing.

Bought this refrigerator to replace a Whirlpool refrigerator that was not working property. I like the look and color of this refrigerator. I never had a counter depth fridge like this but am getting use to it and it seems to have a lot of room for my food. Only drawback is that the shelves are not tall enough for certain size containers but at least I can arrange the shelves on the door sides for stuff to fit. I love the look with no handles.

i've had some bad experiences with loud refrigerators in the past so finding one that was reasonably quiet was a high priority. this samsung fills the bill, you can hear a low pitched hum when the compressor is running but it's barely noticeable. the fridge is nicely designed and the layout is quite functional, it's a great size for a small household.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator

I purchased this a month ago and it is one of the best refrigerators I have ever purchased. The storage space seems much bigger than my previous refrigerator that was 5 cubic feet bigger. The model I bought does not have the ice maker in the door so it provides more internal space. My previous refrigerator had a light hanging down in the middle taking up space and this one has grteat lighting via LED's. The refrigerator keeps the temperature constant, and the WiFi feature is great to control the refrigerator. We have it set to reduce energy consumption during peak hours set by my utility provider. This refrigerator is perfect for the garage to be used as a 2nd refrigerator.

Loving this fridge so much! It’s cooling is absolutely perfect and I love that it connects to our utility company to maximize cooling while ramping up on off hours where kWh is lower :) My only issue is that beers and bottled sodas only fit in the side doors, not on any of the 3 levels in the actual fridge. But, that’s a simple workaround as we’re only putting those items in the shelves on the doors and it’s working fantastically :)

We are a family of six and this fridge has been working out great for us. I recommend it for anyone looking to update their kitchen. I didn’t realize just how much nicer it is than my old one until I started using it! Out of the many appliances we have, this one gets used the most so I feel like it was a worthwhile investment. The fridge is spacious with customization to make most layouts works. I like the double doors and especially love the snack tray, although sometimes I forget about it! The vegetable drawers are especially deep. The front picks up fingerprints quick. I have gotten into the habit of using the handles but it’s unavoidable for kids. Speaking of kids, they really enjoy the lower snack tray since they can’t reach the upper shelves of the fridge. I wish the freezer was larger, but we moved our old fridge to the garage so it isn’t really an issue.

Best fridge for small space

My house was a flip that came without a fridge and a very limited space cut out in the kitchen layout for one. This fridge is the best option for a small space if wanting to avoid the standard freezer on top / fridge on bottom single door setup. My only complaint is I wish it came with a water dispenser. Aside from that great value and aesthetically it’s very modern and clean looking.

The refrigerator makes organizing easy - the shelving on the door racks can hold a lot of items .The gentle alarm that goes off if the doors are left on too long are very helpful remainders of energy efficiency. It’s a good refrigerator except one thing

But the only thing that bothers me is that the temperature won’t set at all, it won’t connect to the smart app. I’ve tried holding the small circle below it down many times and it still didn’t work. The display just keeps blinking “C 13” but besides that I really like this refrigerator

I bought this fridge about 6 weeks ago. The space it filled was smaller than usual. It fit perfectly. The French doors have no handles which works well. I don’t miss the handles. Clean lines. The freezer in the bottom is the best choice. All food items are at shoulder level. Lots of room on the shelves with large drawers for veg and produce. Door shelves are large enough for a gallon of milk with lots more room for cans and wine bottles etc.

This Refrigerator looks so good in our kitchen, I love it so much. I also love how quickly it connected with my SmartThings app. It has a open door alarm (not super loud, just gentle) that lets you know when a door is open. Very handy if you're very clumsy/forgetful like me or you have a small child who likes to open it and steal your snacks! I absolutely recommend it!

Really nice but would change one thing

We have had our refrigerator for a month. We like the finish, the large units on the doors and the reduced depth on the shelves which means items don't get buried in the back. The refrigerator is much quieter than the Fridge faire it replaced. The one thing I would redesign is the bottom section of the freezer. The freezer is two levels with a sliding unit on top of a deep pit. The bottom deeper part is basically a pit. You have to dig through layers a frozen goods to get to those on the bottom, which is inconvenient. The sliding section on top needs to be deeper, which would make the pit shallower and less of a graveyard for frozen food.

This refrigerator fits nicely in our small kitchen . It is a good size for 1 or 2 people but would be too small for a large family. I love having the freezer on the bottom. It is easy to get to everything in the top refrigerator. My husband and I cannot get the freezer to pull out very far. It seems like it should pull out a little further. The Way it is now , we cannot remove the freezer baskets. The icemaker has been working real well , too well, it doesn't stop making ice when the freezer drawer is pulled forward and will throw ice in the bottom of the freezer. This probably wouldn't be a problem if we could pull the drawers out and clean up the ice. The Way it is now. We have to rake it out with a broom handle. It doesn't happen all the time but ice does build up from the icemaker over time on the floor of the freezer. I think if the freezer drawers would pull out a little more, I would have rated 5 stars.

This is a great refrigerator, good temperature control, nice wide French doors for easy access, deep freezer compartment and ice maker makes a lot of ice (sometimes too much as it spills out of the drawer!). We had to learn to make sure to push the doors closed or we get the reminder on the Samsung app or TV that the doors are open, which is a very helpful reminder!

The app worked on the iPhone 11 but could not connect to the refrigerator The app didn't work on an iPad but the iPad was able to access the wifi on the refrigerator I was finally able to get it to work by bringing the iPad next to the iPhone and letting it share the network

Do not buy, problem with door

Do not buy this fridge. The left door gets stuck leading to a part to fail on the hinge. Samsung replaced hinge part once, but since it’s an opening problem it failed again and Samsung refuses to replace anything now, one day after year-long-warranty. So again, there is a problem with the left door, but Samsung will not take ownership of the cause of the problem, only the symptom, and only within the warranty period.

Shelves are not adjustable.

Thw size is good for smaller spaces. It has decent food storage on the inside. However the shelving in the refridgerator ar not really adjustable. A tea jug does not fit. A standard gallon milk or water wont fit. It works great but has a poor simplistic desigj.

Bought this fridge 3 months ago. Happy with its performance but one VERY annoying feature is the door alarm. It goes off waaayyyy too quickly and you have to completely shut it to stop it. When loading the fridge and pulling out multiple ingredients it is thoroughly annoying. The app doesn’t have a setting I can change and nothing online seems to be able to tell me how to adjust the time or turn it off altogether.

Unique having no door handles

i have enjoyed my refrigerator thus far however i do have several issues with my freezer. the icemaker drops ice at the back of the freezer, completely avoiding the ice tray and the freezer is smaller than i expected. i’m single with no kids so one would think that i do not need to big of a freezer. but this freezer is still too small with it being just me. also the freezer door does not ipem wide enough.

I love everything about my new 18 cu. ft. Smart Counter Depth fridge EXCEPT for one serious and miserable design flaw. The ice machine fills the tub so high that cubes routinely fall through the opening at the back, slide down into the bottom floor and then right out and onto my floor when I push the freezer door in. Really bad deal and no way, as far as I can see, to correct it. Serious oversight by Samsung.

I have made numerou attempts to get a warrenty maintenance/repair technician out here to my home to repair of replace the ice maker, but I keeep getting disconnected every time I get handed off to anyone in the Management level at Samsung. My frustration level from trying to get the Ice maker issue resolved has driven me to try again to obtain first year warrenty service on the ice maker. Somebody please help.

Front door cracked within first few months

I was pretty excited to get this beautiful looking new fridge for my new kitchen but was quickly disappointed when a 4 ft crack appeared just a few months into owning it on the front door making it look much less appealing. I opened a service ticket only for the rep to tell me I likely bumped the door on the edge of the counter when I opened it. If this indeed happened as they hypothesize, this is a poorly designed/made product that I will never purchase again. They sent me to the parts department to order a new door...for my brand new fridge...ridiculous. Don't wastey your money!!!

Also the outside dents easily and has lots of dents in it after not even a year. I’ve never had a fridge do that before. Way too expensive for the quality.

Worst refrigerator ever

have had it about a year. every few months, it just stops cooling. we discover it when we realize that stuff in the freezer is thawing - the thermometers inside still show the proper temps, even as everything melts. after much searching, the best fix we could find is, of course, turn it off and turn it on again. so we turn it off at the fuse box, turn it on, and it resets. if we dn’t notice in time, or are away, i guess we’re just screwed. will replace soon, as supply chains recover. don’t buy it.

Quit cooling and needed to be reset

The refrigerator worked well for the first 4 months. I just returned from a 5 day vacation to find the refrigerator at 55 degrees and the freezer at 35 degrees. I had to dispose of everything in the refrigerator and several items that were thawed in the freezer. After resetting the refrigerator it now is beginning to cool again. There was no alert through "smart things" that the refrigerator was not cooling. Be cautious of trusting this refrigerator.

They do not care about their customers what so ever, I even had a rep LAUGH at the fact I said I had a special needs child. They do no honor they warranty, and will give you nothing but problems. Very modern but not durable

A 7 months or so into use, the fridge stated to have cooling and water leaking issues. I temporarily fixed the cooling issues by resetting the thermostat every few months until the second year of use when the need for resetting became more frequent and finally, the freezer stopped cooling. Samsung did provide the r option of sending a repair technician, but the fees and costs of repair likely are going to be more expensive than buying a new fridge. All my other Samsung products (I bought all my kitchen appliances and washer/dryer with this fridge) are working well, however I am afraid of having the same issue with another small Samsung fridge and I will buy a new fridge from a different manufacturer. Samsung as always did provide great customer service but my fridge’s warranty already expired and not much can be done at this point.

Freezer issues

I would not buy this again and will likely replace soon. I bought due to limited dimensions in my kitchen. Prior experience with bottom freezers has been fine but for some reason this bottom freezer is sensitive and continue struggle with the freezer defrosting resulting in throwing out contents. This happened the first two weeks I had it and had multiple calls to Samsung with home visits, door checks and control board replacement. It appears to be related to something with the door seal and sensor which the tech showed me. I know to close it and listen for the compressor to click on to confirm it is closed properly but guests do not know. After some time of the door sensor not being triggered it appears the control board locks out the freezer so even closing the door does not restart the freezer. I then have to power cycle and then it takes some time for it to reset. Going through it now. This causes too much stress and wasted money and food. If they could have a door alarm just like the fridge door that would help. The fridge will notify in an app the door is not closed so why not the freezer?!

Horrible fridge. It is almost new and just stops working every now and then. We lose all the food. No clue how to get service. We unplug it and hard reset and it starts again for another few months. But usually it is up to 50-60 degrees in the fridge for a day or so before we notice. It has gone out twice while we were out of town. Is it a software issue? or a bad thermostat?

unit has barely any time on it and it threw a 81C error. cant get it to clear. Getting service was extremely difficult and to-date have not gotten service to fix it due to Samsung's very inefficient service.

Do not buy this refrigerator!

I purchased this refrigerator on April 12 and it stopped working July 15. Three scheduled appointments have been canceled. It is now August 18. I have lost over $300 worth of food and have had to purchase ice and coolers while waiting for repairs. I would give this product zero stars if possible. Total waste of hard-earned mone and major inconvenience.

Too small, noisy, slow, unaesthetic

This fridge is not even large enough to accommodate a standard size gallon of milk on any shelves except the bottom shelf of the door. It does not cool evenly. The fridge leans backward at an extreme unaesthetic angle even with the front adjusters on their lowest setting. The icemaker is woefully slow and noisy. Worst fridge we've ever owned. Do not buy.

UNRELIABLE - DO NOT BUY

The unit, while very good looking, is extremely unreliable as others have noted. Samsung has been horrendous in terms of care. Since installation, the freezer never worked properly and required endless time and effort to just end up having to depose of the unit at my own expense. Do not recommend unless you have loads of time and money to dedicate to this product.

Inconvenient

The shelves are not adjustable bottles cannot go on the shelves My milk has to sit on the door and is constantly expiring before it's expiration date due to this issue. The ice machine is automatic in the sense that it will continue to make ice but it does not stop when the bucket is full and ice continually falls behind the freezer drawer This fridge was already in our home when we purchased the home I would not buy this fridge

Year old and constantly thaws the freezer

I bought a house two months ago with this model installed. The fridge is a year old. In the two months we have lived here the freezer has thawed out completely 5 times, that I know of. Liquid pint of icecream situations. Have had to throw out so many things in the freezer. I would never recommend this model or possibly brand.

WAY TOO LOUD

I despise this fridge. My landlord bought it to replace the previous 20-year-old fridge in my apartment after it failed. While there are numerous issues with its design, the biggest problem by far is that this fridge is so loud I can't exist in the same room without it driving me insane. And not just when it's making ice. ALL. THE. TIME. The noise is CONSTANT. I'm literally in the process of buying another fridge, with my own money, to replace it. I cannot exist with this monstrosity in my living space. I would rather not have a fridge at all than have to deal with this auditory torture.

This freezer does not stay frozen

Many others have mentioned this, I will mention it also. I’ve had this unit 4 months, and it has stopped working many times despite diagnostics on the app saying that there’s nothing wrong. It looks nice in the kitchen, but I hate it. We lost a full freezer full of food and ice when the freezer temperature went to 50° one day despite being set to 0°. This led me to invest in an alarm thermometer for the fridge and freezer that will alarm me anytime the freezer creeps up over 15°. The alarm goes off at least every other day. I then unplug the unit and plug it back in and everything works for a day or two before repeating the process. Meaning I need to plan food storage around any trips I take. Owning this fridge is an extremely frustrating experience.

Samsung has a problem with factory damaged items. 1st fridge was delivered damaged: large scapes on doors, factory damage under the packaging. The replacement, 2nd fridge, had scrapes on the side under the styrofoam. Factory damage again. We are waiting on another replacement. Let's hope the 3rd time is the charm, but my confidence in Samsung's quality control has plummeted.

Will stop working for no reason.

before i went out of town everything was fine. came home a week later to a everything going bad and everything in the freezer thawed. the app never alerted me! unplugged and plugged back in, works fine. found out this is a common issue.

Delicate! Scratches and NOT fingerprint resistant

We've had this fridge for just over a month. I wipe it daily with a soft cloth because it shows fingerprints every time someone opens the door. I bought the fridge thinking the no-handle design would look sleek, but it just makes it so we have a fridge bordered with fingerprints. We also just put a weak/flimsy magnet on the fridge and it scratched the finish! Don't buy this fridge if you're looking for something durable that will look nice for a while. Did not meet my expectations from Samsung.

Worked well for a few days

bought this refrigerator because it was perfect depth for condominium. stopped cooling a couple days later. powered off and plugged back in, worked well for about 10 days and stopped cooling again. this randomly occurs and happens about 4 times a month so i have to catch it before it spoils my food. had service technician come out, but he's never heard of this happening and left without resolution. going to reach out again and see if we can get this issue resolved.

Cooling in our very expensive, 2-1/2 year old (five months out of warranty) Samsung refrigerator model #rf18a5101sr/aa stopped working, spoiling all food. Bottom line, it's probably the control panel motherboard, which is a known problem with this model. Repair would cost 1/3 the price of a new unit and would be warranted for 90 days!!! DO NOT BUY this unreliable model.

Adequate for our need.

Due to limited space, we had to settle with this refrigerator. Issues with cooling first couple months, but Samsung repaired with no issues. Repairman was excellent! Finish shows all dirt and fingerprints and needs to be cleaned daily. Ice maker container poorly designed. When pulling drawer out, ice falls in back and accumulates to the point that freezer will not close properly. Limited space for taller items such as milk and bottle drinks. Even the smaller soda bottles do not fit on shelf, but must go in door.

bought this refrigerator may 2021. i have had to throw away frozen foods at least 4 times due to freezer not shutting. i have 2 children so i have blamed them for not shutting it the 1st time or 2. however, it's not my teenagers, the freezer is awful it doesn't shut properly. the refrigerator is great at letting you know if you left it open, however i've purposely left the freezer ajar and it doesn't alert you at all. i absolutely hate this refrigerator and have to buy a new one after only having this one for a year, can't keep throwing good away in this economy - also it's not finger proof resistant & makes loud noises

Stops cooling without warning

Twice, the fridge has stopped cooling entirely despite the door panel saying the temperature was correct (and the smart things app as well). Nobody services Samsung in my area so I am waiting for a refund and constantly checking the temperature so my food doesn’t spoil again. Very disappointed.

Freezer and Ice maker are bad

as many others have said it will just decide to stop cooling/freezing; in my case the problem has been the freezer specifically. the unit is less then a year old and i have had to defrost the freezer once already to get it working again, saddly as of today i worry ill be defrosting it a second time. we lost everything in the freezer the first time and just never used it again the second time luckly. the ice maker is the worst design i have ever seen. you will knock ice behind the drawers when you open the freezer every time assuming the ice tray is full. the ice will all pile up and then upon opening it will hit the icemaker and get pushed behind.
