We love the fridge. It took Ali’s a little bit of time to get our icemaker running good, however we are a well system so it goes through the Main house water filter system, then to our kitchen sink which has an additional reverse osmosis system then once again through the refrigerators own filter. Very nice fridge perfectly sized for our needs.

We love this new refrigerator! The price was perfect for our budget. We enrolled in the Whirlpool extended warranty to be paid monthly. We feel like we got the best refrigerator for the size we needed. It’s bigger than our old one and that was a big selling point. Would definitely encourage purchasing this one if you want space and at a great price.

It’s everything I wanted, and at a fantastic price! Delivery was on time and professional. I really like that the water dispenser, inside the refrigerator, is perfect for filling my large tumblers; my old refrigerator had only a small space to dispense and I ALWAYS spilled water all over. In addition, the drawers are smooth, and everything is well lit. Unit is super quiet. I couldn’t have asked for more in a refrigerator!!

Huge and well thought-out interior. Love it!

We have had the fridge for 3 weeks now and we could not be happier. I especially appreciate that the water dispenser is embedded in the side wall of the fridge and dispenses water from the inside. Therefore, no door storage space is wasted and both doors have the deep storage trays. The ice cube maker is embedded in the area between the refrigerator and freezer. Therefore, there is no freezer space wasted for that unit. The layout is extremely well thought out, with one minor exception; the vegetable drawer on the right side of the fridge cannot be opened sufficiently unless BOTH left and right doors are opened....the "flap" on the left door precludes that veg drawer from opening. Having said that, I'm not sure that there is a cure, short of narrowing the width of that drawer. The interior lighting is superb. I greatly appreciate the "Total Coverage Cooling" in the fridge. My other fridge will cause some items on the top/rear to freeze; that has not been a problem here. The unit is extremely quiet, I'm not sure I have ever noticed it running. The digital temp settings on the door edge are easy to use and will lock. The unit is only a couple inches deeper than the other fridge/freezer but, by not wasting space as noted above, has 5 additional cubic feet of storage! The finish of the stainless steel is beautiful and doesn't seem to allow fingerprints. The unit was exceptionally well-packaged and all of the inner drawers, shelving, etc was secured and protected from damage. There was no damage to any surface or component. The leveling feet were very generous in length; my floor slopes more than I would like, but the installers were able to get the unit level with the doors squared-up. I do have one large complaint however, that I can probably make against all the appliances I have purchased in the last few years....that is the "protective" plastic applied to the outside of the unit. It is obvious that this plastic is applied to the metal BEFORE the various components are assembled in the factory. Therefore, this plastic is wrapped underneath other sections that are permanently attached to the "protected" areas. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to remove this plastic cleanly at the edges. This results in having to use a sharp blade to cut the plastic off, sometimes resulting in minor inadvertent scratches to the very pieces that the plastic was supposed to protect, while requiring a great amount of time to do so! I don't think I can excuse anyone for doing this to their customers.....do better.

We purchased this refrigerator two weeks ago and we love it! It is spacious, has a deli drawer perfect for lunch meat and cheeses, fruit and vegetable drawers that slide in and out easily, and adjustable shelves that accommodate all sizes of containers. We really like the design of the interior water dispenser. We had one in our old refrigerator, but this one is sleeker and set at a better angle to refill water bottles and glasses.The freezer is huge! It can easily accommodate a 20 lb.Thanksgiving turkey and all the leftovers that come with a holiday dinner.

(I received this item free in exchange for an honest review) I am already familiar with Whirlpool brand. My old fridge is the same height but different capacity (I added a photo for references of my old Whirlpool-the black one ) pictures were taken while the water line it was being connected in the back by the nice movers/installers. ABOUT THE FRIDGE ITSELF: it’s SOOOOOOO spacious! I love that it has an area for those akward pizza boxes! There is a deli area to thaw out things, super cooking area, and double drawer in the bottom which is common for this style of fridge but it’s new to me and I love that! Also a fun fact I learned while filling it up it makes a VERY faint beeping noise when the freezer has been opened to long to remind you to close it and I really like that! My brother has 5 kids and they’ve often left the doors open on the fridge when they visit. So that’s a good thing for me and them lol it’s very quiet while it sits and it’s energy efficient so it’ll help me save $$ in the long run which I appreciate. As always, I’m a lifelong customer of the brand because the quality of the products they create are made to last.

This fridge is one of the nicest I’ve owned. It is so smooth and easy to open. You can hear it seal real nicely. The spaciousness inside is phenomenal and I love how easy it is to clean. The shelves are a sturdy glass and you can really feel they are quality. I love how easy it is to replace the water filter. It’s accessible and not in a hard to reach area. Another ease of use option is it’s on wheels. So you can easily move the fridge when cleaning. I love the brushed steel, it’s very easy to clean and has a beautiful sheen to it. The ice maker is extremely quiet, I actually thought it wasn’t working then went to get ice and it was full! The temperature control is on the side of the door and is well lit and easy to change. You can also lock it so the temperature doesn’t get changed by accident. It is also very energy efficient which I really appreciate! If you’re looking for a full size fridge that is elegant yet built to last this is your fridge!

A great investment for the family

Firstly, I would like to mention this is my first time owning a French Door Refrigerator and I am overly pleased with Whirlpool! It is such a huge refrigerator with so many storage I cannot wait to fully stock it out, I kinda started right after delivery haha. The noise level is next to none and the temperature control is amazing, the freezer gets anything frozen solid in no time. I’ve been using the Whirlpool 36” French Door Refrigerator for a few days now, and it’s been great so far. It’s super spacious — I can fit all our groceries, even after a big shopping trip. The interior water dispenser is really convenient and keeps the front design clean. It runs very quietly, and the shelves are easy to adjust. Only downside is the fingerprint-prone stainless steel, but that’s easy to wipe. Overall, a solid and stylish choice for a family.

I always have the 36 inch fridge. But it’s very small and it got broken in first five days, but the fridge I got from whirlpool is same size but it’s so spacious, it’s huge and good depth ample of space to put all the groceries. So many strove drawers. The inside water filter and dispenser is so good. I like the neat look outside the fridge. All plain and easy to clean. The ice maker is so good. I love love love the fridge. I am so happy that I choose this for my house.

This is by far the best refrigerator we have ever had. We love that this is an American made brand that stands behind their product for warranty matters. It is a beautiful stainless steel refrigerator with the french style doors and pull out freezer door. The water dispenser is located on the inside panel of the left door panel and has a digital display on the inside of the door. This allows you too control the temperature settings for the fridge and freezer. There is so much space that it is perfect for a growing family. We were able to put everything from our original fridge into this one with plenty of room to add our drinks and other items that really did not fit our old fridge. You open the freezer, and it is one door but it offers two drawers inside so that you can organize and neatly have everything accessible to you with out everything being cluttered. If you are looking for a modern, spacious refrigerator, this is it.

I bought this to replace a failing fridge that we had for almost 20 years, another Whirlpool. I like the quailty of this brand; will never do Samsung or LG, tried that once and it broke within 2 years. Unrepairable. We upgraded on size and liked this model for the internal water dispenser and drawer ice maker for more space. It has been a game changer in our home. The fridge has a very large capacity and is built well. It operates very quietly, you can hear the water refill, but that's expected. The ice it produces are small cubes which I absolutely love. This fridge checks the boxes of all the things that we needed.

I bought this about a month ago. Shipping got pushed back twice. Our 20 cu ft was full and running out of room. This 31 cu ft is huge. We have same stuff in it as old one and looks only half full. The door compartments are very large. Gallon milk jugs fit with ease. Freeze compartment has a very nice lay out.

You have the wrong model number! The fridge we got is model number WRFF5333PW. The serial number is correct. We like the fridge very much, except for the crisper drawers, which if you pull them out just a little to far they fall off of the track. They have no stop! Our fridge is 22 cu ft not 31.

Great features, roomy and durable products

The refrigerator is excellent and does what one would expect of a unit. It cooled down quick both for the freezer and the refrigerator. This is a deep unit and the first one we have had and we love the extra space and not feeling cramped inside or on the doors. The installers were careful and efficient. Whirlpool really protects their appliances and the unit is perfect outside and in. We strongly recommend their products. This is the third Whirlpool unit we have had in our 50 years of marriage and that should tell you something about durability and reliability if two units got us thru 50 years, we don't think we will need to replace this one. It will be a good inheritance piece for one of the kids. : )

We bought this refrigerator last month 12/2025 and we love almost everything about it! It has a huge amount of space and it is quiet. The only draw back is that the ice machine does start slow. However, once we had the refrigerator for a week it was working just fine. I would recommend this Whirlpool refrigerator to family and friends great space and very quiet.

We have had this refrigerator for 3 weeks now and have had no trouble with it. We got it in black and love the color. I did not want the ice and water dispenser in the door due to dripping and loss of space so this one is great! There is lots of room on the doors for storage. I thought having only 3 shelves on each door might not be quite enough when there is space there for a fourth but I have had plenty of room. I love having the water dispenser inside and it comes out pretty fast in my opinion. It comes out cold and fresh tasting. The ice is adequate but does take a long time to fill up. It will take a week if you don't use it up in the process. You do have to push the ice to one side for it to keep making more. The outer doors close well with just a slight push. They are very light and easy to close. I can keep my milk, juice, teas, and maybe 8 different beverages all on one shelf and can see and reach them all easily. I love keeping all my lunch items in the pull out drawer. I love the freezer as well. It also has a lot of room. I do wish it had a handle on it but it works fine without one. Ours was set up and leveled by the men from Home Depot and they did a great job. They got most of the paper off the doors but I did spend another hour removing some smaller pieces.

Refridgerators is a nice size and fits well on in kitchen. The water dispenser indoors is not an issue abd give the external lift look a modern design. The ice maker is slightly slow but a large capacity so it hold a lot . I just don’t turn it off unless I’m out of the house for over a week. Perfect if you need to make ice for a party. Just get quality food grade bags and pour the ice in there and continue to make ice. No more ice runs for parties!

Our refrigerator had quit, unable to be fixed, so we were looking for the same type of refrigerator. Honestly, we overlooked this model to begin with because there was no ice or water in the door. However, on closer inspection, there is water, and we LOVED the idea of having large capacity ice in the freezer. We have LOTS more room in our refrigerator because shelf space is not taken up by the ice maker. We are loving it. This model fits us much better than our old refrigerator.

Huge family sized refrigerator at a great price. We purchased this about a month ago to replace a 20 year old side by side that never seemed to have enough space. Problem solved! This model has plenty of space, which is put to good use with thoughtfully designed shelving and bins. Everything is visible and easy to reach without shuffling the contents searching for a tub of sour cream. We chose the internal water dispenser and ice maker because we value the extra space and clean layout over "through the door" water and ice, which always seem more prone to failure after a few years. One caveat with the French doors: make sure you have enough kitchen space to swing the doors wide open. There is a full-width drawer that will not pull out if you don't open the doors all the way. Whirlpool calls this out in the product description, so read and measure before you buy.

Quiet but weak door hinges

It’s just meh. The large door spaces are nice, and the overall capacity is great. The door cams are weak, so the doors have to be pushed closed all the way every time, and they open with almost no effort. It is quiet so far, which is nice.

Great Appliance

This is a great appliance, lots of room, lots of light, both the refrigerator as well as the freezer area are a great size. The ice cube size is perfect and I love that the water comes from the inside. As opposed to on the outside of the door. Our fruits and vegetables have stayed so much fresher for a longer period of time I highly recommend This refrigerator

Good fridge

We like the fridge. It made some odd sounds at first. We had the repair person here twice. First time they found a loose piece of styrofoam in the back. The second time there was a fan knocking. It’s all been taken care of. We do have an osmosis system attached to the fridge and therefore removed the filter. Do you sell a plug we can install where the filter would be?

Lots of Room!

After a second attempt, we got the refrigerator and I was very happy with the room it has in it. However, when it was delivered the handles were not put on and I wondered why. I quickly figured out that one of the anchor screws for the right side handle would not tighten down. After some ingenuity by my hubby, we were able to get the handle put on.

The best fridge EVER

It's only been a week, but I cannot say enough about the wonder that is this appliance. It's so spacious. The door shelves are wide and sturdy and hold all of the condiments as well as Gallon Jugs of milk and juice. The drawers are all clear so I can stand see everything in all of the comparments without opening them, which means less food spoilage and waste. The water inside the fridge annoys my husband because having to open the door wastes enegy, but I feel that it's nominal and there isn't any mess. The freezer is also large enough to accomodate everything in an organized manner and the ice is located in the freezer. it stores up to 7 lbs of ice, I believe. We love cold beverages in this house and we love the ease of getting the ice. We are very happy with this purchase.

The only things that would improve the product is to add a real time temperature for both freezer and refrigerator for what is the actual temp. Also would split the deli drawer into 2 compartments so both doors do not need to be fully open to access the drawer.

Nice large interior.

I have had it 2 weeks now. So far so good. Ice maker is good. I know I saw a few reviews said it was slow. But after 58 hours it was starting to fill pretty good. It's now completely full. Stays full too. I like how large the inside is. And I like the inside water dispenser much cleaner. I've had the outside dispenser, but I didn't like the water stains it left on the door. The inside door shelves and inside the fridge has nice tall areas for a pitcher are 2 liter soda. Seems to run quite compared to a former refrigerator we had.

Huge and bright!

This thing is huge - for once in my life I have a refrigerator that may actually be too big. Big drawers Spacious shelves, the freezer makes ice a bit slow but has a huge storage area. Interior lights work very well making it easy to see everything without the typical dark area. So far so good.

Had to replace a 4-yr old Whirlpool fridge and picked this one. Love the extra room! Old fridge had the ice maker in the upper left part of the fridge, taking up lots of space. It was 25 ft³. The new one is over 31 ft³ and all that extra space is incredible. We also love the drawers inside and the spacious shelves in the doors. The only reason I rated it a 4 and not a 5 is that the ice maker is slow. They rate it at 3 pounds of ice per day and my wife can go through that by midday! Otherwise a great fridge.

Bought this refrigerator a month and so far so good. Doors and overall quality good. This is the bigger model and I am glad we got it, lots more functional space and don't have to take everything out of the fridge to get to the jar in the back. This one actually sits level compared to my old frig that was not a Whirlpool and only lasted 1.5 years, that one was bought brand new and never sat level. We will see how this one last, I'm hoping for 10 years, tbd. Makes great hard cold ice, but my only complaint is that it is slow to make ice.

Good refrigerator--bad ice maker

I have had this since 5/7/25 so not really long enough to comment on reliability. So far, I have given a 4 star since it cools and freezes as expected. Five stars if the ice maker was any good. I bought the model with the ice maker in the freezer drawer hoping it would work better than the in the door models. I use a lot of ice so I was hoping this would make a lot quickly. Unfortunately, it does neither. The book evens says it may take three days to fill the bin, but you don't get to read the manual in the store. It did take the three days, but it never really fills the bin. As I result, I will still have to use my countertop ice maker. Slowest ice maker I have ever seen. Whirlpool dropped the ball on this model of ice maker.

Nice new additions, but noticeably sticks out more

We bought this model as a replacement for this same refrigerator from 9 years ago. There are new features added that are improvements, like a better cooling distribution in the upper part, which looks like it will prevent things from freezing when they are crammed in the back. The ice bucket is huge, and the water dispenser inside can be operated with only one hand now. There are more lights inside, and the overall space is larger both in the bottom and top. However, here's the big downside, and it is a big one, it sticks out farther that our last fridge did (the same model). It is at least 2" deeper, which looks bad in our kitchen. I wish we could get a counter depth, but for a family our size that would never work. While I appreciate the updates and the larger space interior, it definitely sticks out and is an eye sore to me.

Some small issues, not terrible but annoying

Nice fridge overall. But a few issues. Ice maker barely makes ice in enough quantity to satisfy two people who don’t use much ice anyway. And no, no problems with water line or freezer temp. Also, handle striped when installed making it loose. Called service department almost three weeks ago for replacement. Still haven’t seen the part and no status available. This is a new fridge, would expect quicker response as I am about ready to return it if the handle doesn’t show up soon.

Not what we expected

We bought this six months ago and have had problems with the in drawer ice maker splashing water into the bin or not making ice at all. We bought the Refrigerator because the ice maker in the freezer drawer is supposed to be the most reliable of all. The drawers in the refrigerator have some pulls so you reach down to open and others that you must reach under. This is confusing when you are in a hurry to prepare something. The next thing we found was the placement of the shelves do not allow you to place them so they fit what you store. Other brands have tracks that allow customization of shelf placement.

Broken Ice Maker

The ice maker is non functioning from the first day of purchase, so that is very disappointing. Still under warranty, but hopefully not a sign of things to come. The refrigerator is spacious and cold. Check the size since I did not realize this refrigerator is deeper than the one I replaced, so it sticks out a little further. That said, it is 31 cubic feet, so there is a ton of space. If you use the wide drawer for drinks, there are no ridges to keep them in place, so they roll back and fourth as you pull out the drawer. The interior water dispenser seems slower to fill than a door dispenser, so it is a little annoying but tolerable. The doors are also difficult to close. We have accidentally left the door slightly open numerous times.

Good frig. The size is great if you need alot

Bought as an emergency. The size and look is wonderful. Here's the issues: Doors should close on there own when then get close to closing. The doors just stay open. Call it a new learning curve but could be better. 2nd - the shipping plastic covering that comes on a new unit at unboxing. Terrible. Impossible to remove it all because it is tucked in under seams. You tear is off but it does not remove all of it. Working on the removal of little pieces of plastic for 2 weeks now.

It works.

It is a refrigerator and it has worked for a month so far. .yay. Pros: It works. The freezer drawer has a lot of space. The entire frig has a lot of of space. Cons: Refrigerator: Not enough frig shelves. Not enough ability to adjust/organize the shelves to use the space. Door shelves are not moveable or adjustable. For ALL of that space, the fruit/veggie drawers a very small and the deli drawer is so shallow in height it is almost not worth using. Freezer: The basket drawer for the ice is so close to the top that you can't just reach in for ice. You must open entire drawer, then pull out the ice/top basket drawer to get ice. Seriously - These things have gotten so expensive. And !! do the designers of these appliances ever use what they design? I miss my old french door Kenmore. :-\

It's either a lemon or crappy construction

I purchased this refrigerator over the summer. I researched other brands and models for a long time. Ultimately, I went with whirlpool because our last fridge was a used Whirlpool and that sucker was so solid. We only upgraded because the previous fridge was 20 cu ft, and we needed more like 30 cu ft. Here's the good: 1. The fridge is freaking huge. I throw 12 dozen eggs in this sucker and you don't even notice any missing space. It's perfect for our family of 6, and eliminated our need for a "garage fridge" or "drink fridge". The size is the real deal. 2. The interior water dispenser is legit cool. It's nice to have a flat front to hang up our chore charts or recipes, etc, without worrying about dripping ice or water on it. 3. It cools as it's supposed to The ice** is a fun size Here's the annoying: 1. the adjustment panel is on the inside left door and it gets touched all. the. time. Even when you lock it, you can still make it ding. Small, but annoying. Higher up, or even on the other door I don't think it would happen as often 2. The left door has a slide it part and it won't close if that slide isn't properly pushed in. Again, not a biggie, but annoying. 3. There is no "slow close" unless you physically ever so gently close it. Not great for a family of kids. The bad: 1. **The ice maker absolutely blows. It spews ice behind the tray and onto the bottom of the freezer. It also doesn't freeze at the right temperature, or comes out kind of watery? Can't figure out which. Doesn't really matter though, because what happens is that the ice tray becomes a winter wonderland and turns the ice into a solid brick of ice. Did all of the troubleshooting with temperature and level, etc, and had someone come out for warranty work, but it didn't get fixed. We currently buy bags of ice to fill it because it was getting obnoxious to have to empty the tray or try to break off little pieces of ice. I'm about to have to get warranty work done again and I am really not looking forward to it because last time I had to empty out the entire dang fridge and turn it off for 24 hours. Kill me now, please. The lunchmeat drawer is great and all, a little, but the metal (plastic??) edge just started to flake off and looks really trashy. The door bins are total crap and started to crack almost immediately. This top one in the picture shattered completely and is being held together by packaging tape. They are equal opportunity crackers...whether they were completely full or nearly empty, every bin except for one has begun to crack, or in the case of the pictured one, shattered. I think the only way to prevent this is to literally line the shelves with safety rubber and close the door each time as if you are leaving a sleeping baby's room. AKA, not a "real use" situation. Is the fridge I got a lemon? Maybe. Am I completely disappointed in this fridge so far? Yeah, pretty much. Especially because our USED, 10+ year old Whirlpool held up better than this NEW fancy one. Am I looking forward to emptying out my fridge for another 24 hours and having ANOTHER repairperson coming to see if they can fix my godforsaken ice machine? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do I feel like a total TOOL for not just buying a similar Samsung fridge my friend has, which hasn't had ANY issues in over 4 years? 100%. And moreso because it has the extra drawer and TWO types of ice. #firstworldsigh So, yeah. Buyers Beware.

Disappointed

I've had for he fridge for a few weeks now. Installation was a hassle. One installer said my water shut off valve needed replaced. Paid to have that done. Next installe said valve needed to be behind the fridge. 3rd installer finally got the job done. Next the ice maker didn't work. Repair company was sent out to fix a brand new fridge. Now the water doesn't dispense and they need to come and repair that.

Disappointment

I purchased the unit mid-November 2025. 3 days after installing the door sensors stopped working, therefore the alarm has been sounding every few minutes since (just over 1 week) The repairman is waiting on parts, but expected 2 days from now. Yesterday the interior water fill station stopped working. I intended to bring this up when the repairs on the sensors are made. I like the size and look of the unit, but I’m terribly disappointed in the reliability and multiple issues. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the gasket around the freezer drawer is peeling at 1 corner.

Purchased a new refrigerator because they old one was leaking water from the ice dispenser. This one that I purchased is having the same issue, but the water that is leaking is causing the ice bin to freeze into a block of ice. Had repair person out to fix and he said that the water line had frozen, resulting in water spilling. Unfroze, and two days after repair, it had froze again and stopped making ice at all!

Purchased 3 weeks ago. Refrigerator never has gotten any colder than 48 degrees. Tech diagnosed the problem as a bad control board. Still waiting on parts. Model is so new that parts aren't available on the continent.

Terrible Ice Maker!

We had the refrigerator c. 1 month and the ice maker stopped working. The repairman had to order the part which is back ordered so our ice maker hasn’t worked cor going on a month. When the ice maker was working it produced small cubes and would not fill up the bin unless you keep the ice scraped to the front of the bin. Very poor design in my opinion.
