Summit 18 inch
AJ Madison · 3 out of 5 stars
This refrigerator looks nice but a few things are troublesome. The shelves are flimsy at best. When filling the unit cans fall over very easily because the shelf starts to bend and flex, a little heavier wire in the shelves would cure this. The inside fan comes on every eight seconds and off every eight seconds continuously when the compressor is not on but runs continuously when the the compressor turns on. What's up with that? Just somewhat annoying since this is in my family room. The interior light is nice just wish I had the option to leave it on continuously. (It shuts off automatically after twenty minutes) Wish the shelves were more adjustable. Overall the temperature is pretty accurate and does the job nicely for an eighteen inch cooler.

Do Not Purchase
AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars
I purchased a similar model under counter beverage center that I use at our summer home. The unit is 5 years old, but is only used for 4-5 mos. of the year, and then I shut it off at the circuit breaker during the winter. The compressor has just gone out and the manufacturer will not honor the warranty. Worse, every "authorized" repair company in my area has stopped servicing this brand appliance because they are too difficult to repair and do not like dealing with the manufacturer. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.

Quit Working after 13 months
AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars
This unit quit cooling after 13 months of minimal use. I spoke with the manufacturer and they said I would need to replace the unit or pay for servicing since it was past it's 12 month warranty. I was very disappointed given the price of the unit. I would NOT recommend this product or Summit Appliances.

agree with previous review. very flimsy shelves. cans topple over. also ice builds up at the back and is concern for water leakage behind the counter.
