Brighter Light Please

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

I searched for months for this refrigerator. I had many things that needed to be accomplished before I purchased a fridge. I needed a counter depth fridge because my space is small. I needed it to have no water dispenser and.no ice dispenser. Every fridge I ever had with ice and water dispensers went bad because of those. I needed the side by side fridge to make it easier for me to get to my food stored inside. This fridge fits all of my needs, it took me months of shopping online to finally find it. I ordered it right away even without seeing it in person. I only gave it a 4 star because it does need brighter lights on the inside on both sides; the fridge and freezer sides. Frigidaire has the highest ratings at the moment so that was another reason for my purchase.

Great looking simple fridge!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We decided to go with this simple fridge since the fridge we had before had multiple issues with waterline (we have a very harsh tap water in Indiana). This fridge looks great, very roomy and serves the purpose. Delivered in a timely matter. It took just a little time for it to reach the set temperatures for both freezer and fridge sides. I would definitely recommend this fridge!

Beautiful and sleek!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

After months of headaches from going back and fourth with other companies, we finally came across this one and my husband and I could not be more happier! It’s only been a month that we’ve had it and so far it’s great. I love the look and especially love all the space. That was the main thing being a family of 7. I love everything about it!

Slick and Simple

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Modern looking sleek design, nice size and good basic functionality. Perfect as our second fridge where no water available so why waste cost and space for dispensers. Coldest setting on fridge gets our desired temps and freezer normal setting works well. Only issue is random intermittent beep from the controls. Seen it in other reviews but have not tracked down the cause. Install is per spec and no other issues identified.

I've had the fridge for just over a week. I love it. Much more room than my old fridge/freezer.

Efficient and beautiful

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The only reason it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the shelves are not as adjustable as I would like. We love the sleek design and it works great!

Great addition to my garage!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

It looks modern, very nice on my garage. I have a counter deepth refrigerator on my kitchen, so with 3 kids, this one complements very nicely with the extra space.

Back to simple and practical.

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We bought this refrigerator for its simplicity (and hopefully durable) design to replace an expensive 6 year old French-door refrigerator that was having too many issues to repair. So far I absolutely love it and fortunately it came in a sleek style that still looks good in my kitchen. My hope is that it lasts as long as my old childhood and my grandparents refrigerators did.

Seemed To Be A Great Product But I Have A Concern

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

I bought a FRSG2115AV refrigerator a few months ago and like it a lot but I've noticed that under certain lighting conditions I can see areas of warpage or deformation near where one grabs the doors to open them (photo attached). I think these have developed over time and were not there when I received the product. Is this indicative of a manufacturing defect or degradation of the foam door insulation? Has anyone else experienced this?

Beautiful and sleek

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Wonderful choice! It’s a simple refrigerator with no bells and whistles but it’s perfect for a smaller household. Although it doesn’t have a water dispenser or ice maker I don’t miss it. Having to change filters or repairing water lines isn’t a worry anymore. Also the fingerprint resistant finish is beautiful. No more streaks! Love it.

Lovin’ it!

This unit is PERFECT for our garage! Looks great. Love the side-by-side set up. Keeps everything organized and visible. Lots of room inside! Wide enough for my sheet pans. Have recommended it to several of our neighbors.

A new frdge for the garage.

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Needed a new fridge for the garage to keep drinks cold and hold overflow from the kitchen fridge. It looks good and is working fine so far. The only issue that I have, is that it doesn't have door handles. It has recessed places in each door to grab and open it. Makes it look sleek but is harder to get in and out of.

Simple fridge

Fridge is Located in an un-air conditioned space on the coast of Florida and works well even in the heat. No ice maker adds extra space in the freezer and nothing to break. We like the glass shelves as well.

Comforting Simplicity in Form and Function

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This Frigidaire unit is the perfect middle ground between those unappealing white plastic looking refrigerators and the fancy French door stainless ones. Bonus! No worries about water leakage or broken icemakers because there is no water connection for this model. That alone was one of the biggest reasons we chose it. Now we simply keep a pitcher of water in the frig, and we either make ice cubes in trays or buy a bag at the store since our family doesn't use much ice. What we love about our new frig is the stainless steel finish of the doors. It's quite resistant to fingerprints. Then there's the sleek look of no handles, just a hidden black plastic side pull. The warning noise that you've left the door open is loud and serious, like an electronic gong signaling the sinking of your cruise ship. It means business! We'd read about that, and we were happy to have this feature because someone in our family often leaves any and all doors ajar. As for roominess, it's pretty good. We took a one-quarter size sheet pan into the store with us to see if it would fit and it did, both in frig and freezer sections. As a baker, sometimes I need to freeze cookies or fruits on sheets and I can still do that. The interior lighting is good, not super bright, but just right. The door bins could be a little sturdier and the edges of the bins could be taller, but it is not a deal breaker. Since it is hot season right now, we are keeping it at the coldest setting. Really like the side by side design because you can look at frozen or refrigerated stuff at eye level. Then there's the space issue. We have a kitchen island very close to it and because of the slender doors there is no impedance. Oh, and the front and sides are magnetic in case you want to display stuff or add a magnetic spice rack or something. Yay!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

My new Frigidaire refrigerator is just what I wanted!!! It is pretty, roomie and quiet. Plenty of shelves and door bins to accommodate a variety of items. Very stylish exterior with a really quiet motor and easy open doors with a little bell reminder if the have been accidentally left open. I am very happy with my new fridge!

A great refrigerator for any home.

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

The Frigidaire 21.4 cu ft 36” Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator is a great refrigerator for any home. Set up was a breeze and instructions were clear and concise. I especially like the chime which acts as a reminder to shut the fridge doors if left open too long. This side by side is incredibly spacious and easy to clean. It's a beautiful and sleek design with pocket handles. I highly recommend.

Perfect fit

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We have a fridge inside our home, so this is our second fridge for our garage. What we like about it is, that is slim, but it also is very spacious. There is enough room for our desserts and left over food that we have from our family of 7. With every fridge we have to make sure it fits our needs because of our kids, and this Frigidaire 21.4 cu ft 36” Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator was a perfect fit. There is absolutely no complains from us. It was easy to set up, easy to move around because of the wheels that the fridge came with, and easy to store all our food. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of this fridge. We definitely will recommend this to our friends and family.

SitaGirl · Feb 12, 2025

Great second fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

So this is the first time I have owned a Frigidaire refrigerator and honestly is has been great to me. I don't care that it doesn't have ice or water because we use this for a second fridge in our garage. Now it is very spacious, which is why I bought it in the first place. Our first fridge is bottom freezer and it limits our storage. With a family of 7 in our household, we need the storage for everyone's needs of desserts and food in general. I absolutely do recomend this product to anyone looking for a second fridge or even for a first fridge( if you don't need the ice or water). Set up was really easy and it came with wheel at the bottom which was a plus because we where able to move it easily without lifting. As soon as we turned it on, we set the temperature to our likings and we haven't had a problem since. Even though it is in the garage there is no noise that bother anyone even if it were inside. Freezer freezes really well and the fridge cools down perfect. This is the fridge we were looking for in our household. Keeping up with our family.

Does the Job!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We bought this for a second refrigerator, and it is working well for that! I don't mind that it doesn't have ice or water since it is the second refrigerator. I honestly haven't had a side by side refrigerator in years and was reluctant to give up the french door style, but I have been really happy with it. I like that the handles are hidden it looks much more modern. I also love the counter depth which looks much better than the standard depth. The capacity is smaller than my old refrigerator, but I still feel like you can fit a lot!

Sleek and Stylish

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We bought this refrigerator for our basement bar. I really love the sleek and modern design. I love that it's counter depth so it doesn't stick out as much as standard depth refrigerators. I also love the internal handles which give it a clean look and also hide fingerprints! Overall, I am very happy with the look and the function of this refrigerator!

Great for extra storage

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We got the Frigidaire Side-by-Side Refrigerator as a second fridge for extra storage, and it’s been a great addition to our home! The sleek, modern design looks nice, and the counter-depth build fits well without taking up too much space. The storage is well-organized, making it perfect for overflow groceries, meal prep, or extra frozen items. While it doesn’t have an external water/ice dispenser, that wasn’t a priority for us since it’s not our main fridge. The freezer space is decent, but since it’s counter-depth, it’s slightly shallower than standard models. Overall, this is a great backup fridge for a garage, basement, or second kitchen. If you need extra storage with a stylish look, this is a solid choice!

Frigidaire Refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Our new Frigidaire Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator is a stylish and functional addition to our kitchen. It offers a sleek, built-in look that integrates well with its surroundings. The brushed steel is smudge-resistant, making it easy to keep fungerprint free. Inside, the refrigerator provides ample storage space with adjustable shelves and spacious door bins, allowing for flexible organization of our groceries. The crisper drawers are generously sized, helping to keep our fruits and vegetables fresh. Additionally, the bright LED lighting ensures clear visibility throughout the interior. One notable feature is the absence of an ice maker and water dispenser, which is fine by us because we appreciate having the increased storage capacity and reduced maintenance concerns. It holds everything we need it to and it looks good doing so. I was looking for a stylish, efficienct, and practical appliance and I got exactly what I was looking for.

This fits so much!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This fridge is amazing. I have it down in my basement unit, so I didn't need all the bells and whistles, just a fridge that worked well and fit in the space. I was apprehensive about going to a counter depth fridge, but this one holds even more than my previous one did. I don't know how they did it, but it's so spacious on the inside! The flex space makes it easy to move things around to fit everything I want to put in the fridge. I also really appreciate the four spacious door bins. I love to keep things there as they are easy to grab. This fridge has bright LED lights, so even in a dark place things are easy to see. It also looks great, the smudge proof front hides any fingerprints which is amazing. The energy star rating is also clutch as I’m trying to be mindful of the environment, and also keep my electric bills low.

First impressions

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Elegant, sophisticated design and finish. More storage space without ice maker at 21 cf vs. our old fridge with one at 25 cf. Makes many different really quiet electronic sounds, so we call it R2D2. Alerts you after a minute if the door remains open too long, which trains you to make quick decisions. The notable downside is the lighting, which is inadequate and has a slight bluish (?) hue. The engineers should have placed a bottom light in both sides.

Good counter depths fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We had an oddly small space for our refrigerator in our new home and ended up buying this model. It does not have an ice maker or a water dispenser, but it looks sleek, is quiet and is working well so far. Plenty of room for a house with two people.

Overall am happy except for the door bins

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Overall I am very happy with this refrigerator. It is more simple than a much more expensive refrigerator but it does the job. I don't miss an ice cube maker at all. It is spacious enough - especially the freezer, fairly quiet and is attractive. We have had it for 1 1/4 yrs. My only complaint is the shelf bins on the door of the refrigerator side. Three of the four have developed cracks! I don't know if they were a bad batch or they were just cheaply made. My old GE refrigerator had the same items on the shelf for 20 years with no cracks. When I called Frigidaire they said I was out of warranty so had to pay for new bins. Not good. They should have sent me new bins at no cost.

I am very pleased with my new refrigerator. It is the perfect size for my one person household. It looks good and holds everything I need. Great option for our extra fridge in the garage

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The counter depth side by side design makes this the perfect fit for our extra refrigerator that stays in the garage. We can fully access both the fridge and freezer sections even with the truck parked. Like the addition to the motor components that help combat motor fatigue in hot and cold weather. Would give 5 stars if both sides had a few more notches for adjusting shelves.

This Frigidaire 21.4 cu. ft. Garage Ready Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator has been an excellent purchase. Inside, the layout is smart and efficient, with adjustable shelves that make organizing food and drinks easy. The side-by-side design provides quick access to both fresh and frozen items. Cooling is consistent and reliable, and the refrigerator holds temperature very well. The ice maker works smoothly and keeps up with demand. While it doesn’t have unnecessary bells and whistles, it excels at what matters most—reliable performance, durability, and great design. Overall, this refrigerator exceeded expectations. AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I wanted a side by side refrigerator with no water or ice dispenser & this is what shpowed up. I have had several Frigidaire refrigerators in the past so I was happy that what I found was that brand. The only thing that didn't match my wish list was that it be white to match our stove & dishwasher. But once it was delivered, the stainless and gray finish was just fine. This fridge is very quiet and the controls are simple but very effective. I appreciate the amount of room available and it essentially does just what I wanted in a refrigerator. Excellent Refrigerator for Small Households

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

For the bachelor or new couple on a budget, this fridge hits a sweet spot. Avoiding the failure point of an ice maker and/or door dispenser means that the unit is a simpler device which should increase its usable life. Unit runs absurdly quietly, in that I occasionally twitch and have to check to ensure that it is, in fact, running normally. It is smaller than my old unit, but that meant that it installed more quickly and cooled faster. I've been very pleased by its performance, thus far.

Our new refrigerator is the best that we ever had in our 35 years of marriage. It is classy, spacious, and exceeded our expectations. We plan to purchase 2 more. One to replace our kitchen refrigerator and one for our basement. Thank you Jeff

Sleek Frigidaire Side by Side

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This Frigidaire is exactly what we were looking for. Stainless Steel two door side by side is perfectly designed. We did not want an ice machine in the freezer. We needed the space for freezing bulk purchases. Just the right amount of shelves, one large drawer, and plenty of storage space on the door. The refrigerator side has plenty of shelves and drawer space. The front of the side by side is smooth, no handles on the outside of the doors, and the temperature controls are on the outside between the two doors. Digital display and easy to regulate. We would highly recommend this Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer to shoppers looking for quality, well lit, and spacious appliance.

Glad to find a true garage refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I love this refrigerator. I had no idea I could purchase a counter depth refrigerator for my garage. No having an ice maker leaves so much more space in the freezer. I love the smudge proof stainless too. So far, it's been perfect.

Exactly what we wanted

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I was looking for a no-frills side-by-side that was narrow enough to fit through stairs to my basement and could just plug in and go. This fit the bill. No complaints so far.

Scotty L · Oct 30, 2025

Perfect size for smaller spaces, it’s also sleek and clean.

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I prefer a fridge with no water filter and ice maker, which can be difficult to find nowadays. This one offers exactly what you need, best for a small family that doesn’t have a lot of kitchen space. Luckily it tucks right into our corner without sticking out as much.

CKoko · Oct 27, 2025

Perfect Fit

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

So far are new refrigerator is running fine. Located in kitchen area inside. Even though cabinet depth there seems to be plenty of storage space. I have noticed that larger refrigerators are alot deeper and it is hard to find your items. This size and depth is perfect. No milk storage on door but that hasn't been a problem. No icemaker so freezer has good storage also. Items inside are kept cold in fridge side and frozen in freezer side. What more could you ask for. Runs quietly. If it last I would buy again.

It look stylish and is supposed to be reliable per several reviews that we have looked at and we were less inclined on features that lot of other refrigerators offered. With a minimal design, this model is easy to use and makes space for what you really need: space for cooling food. AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I love my new refrigerator. I previously had a bottom freezer that had a lot of space, but was so difficult to clean. I don’t have those issues any more with my side by side refrigerator. However, I still have the amount of space that I am accustomed to! Very good purchase.

Side by Side Refridgerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

The appliance has great lines, lots of room for food and other items. It took 48 hours for it to reach desired temperature, since the temp is pre- programmed, I had to purchase a thermometer to verify the temp, the temp setting bar strip on the outside (center) is very convenient and easy to use, but is preset temps, no ability to override the settings

Ronk25 · Oct 10, 2025

Great, simple fridge with one small quirk

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

I bought this fridge for its affordability, simplicity, and reliability. So far it’s worked great and was easy for the deliverer to install. My only small complaint is that the little alarm that alerts that the door was left open is very annoying. It sounds like a door or smoke alarm rather than a gentle chirp or beep beep that my past fridges had. Other than that it works great

Basic and beautiful

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

No extended handles, no ice maker or water dispenser, very quiet and sleek appearance. Fingerprints wipe off with a soft towel and elbow grease (do not use chemical cleansers). Maximizes storage and it runs a lot to keep the temp's constant, but it is quiet, and it is barely noticeable. Cannot comment on longevity, it is less than 1 month old.

It suits our needs and waas not so outrageously expensive. We have a larger refrig that we use. It’s taking a bit getting used to with the cutback in storage space, but it is more accomadating for our downsize. Pricing was the key issue.

Great Secondary Garage Fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

No bells and whistle, nothing digital to worry about, just a very simple side by side fridge with only the controls you need to manage the fridge temps, and it will handle temps as high as 108 and 38 if your garage is susceptible to temp changes. And affordable! Great second fridge for us. (Only suggestion, give the actual temp of the unit, not just what the setting is). I put two small fridge temp gauges on each side internally to make sure I knew the actual temp. You lose all your stored food only once when you cant monitor the actual temp!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We bought our garage-ready refrigerator because the one we were using seemed to be running continually and the refrigerator was warmer at the top and nearly freezing food at the bottom. Even at its best, our former refrigerator would freeze salad greens and other vegetables making them useless, so it became less and less efficient. We replaced it with a Frigidaire-our first time purchasing this brand and wish we had done it sooner. It runs beautifully and quietly and maintains the perfect temp on both sides. No more frozen salad greens or veges! We are thrilled with it!

Wanted a counter depth fridge without all the bells and whistles. This fit. Even at the coldest setting, I'm a little skeptical. We plugged it in a few days with only water before we filled it with food. the temperature with an old school thermometer only seems to hold at 40 (setting at 35). We already had some ham with a best by date more than a month out turn to mush after a few days. the freezer side is keeping things frozen. it makes a mild whistle noise during cycles that is annoying. The fridge is pretty cool, and it does what it's supposed to do - it keeps the food cold and fresh. The warning alarm can be annoying, but it comes in handy because it lets you know that your fridge door has been open for a while and needs to be shut to avoid the food from spoiling. We love this refrigerator so far. It cools well, is sleek, well layed out, and it's perfect for our utility room. We didn't need the icemaker or water dispenser, besides, many times these are reliability issues. We've had the refrigerator for about 3 months now and can't say anything but praises. One concern I have is that spare parts do not seem available at this time. Yes, there are shelves and drawers, but what if we need a auto defroster or led after the one year warranty period is up? I do hope that appliance repair shops have the necessary spare parts should the need arise. Hopefully, this refrigerator will last many years without repair.

So Far So Good

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

My husband & I really like this fridge. it is much different than our 20-year-old side by side that was dying. We went with counter depth to add just a bit more space in our small kitchen. Who would have thought the 4-inch depth difference would make such a big change in the kitchen. I really like the stainless-steel look, our previous one was all black. The stainless steel makes the kitchen much brighter even tho it is not a real bright stainless. The shelving in this is really good proportions and can move them to accommodate the different bottle & jar heights. The drawers are a good size for holding dairy items & fruit/veggies. I like the look of no handles on the front, its a much cleaner look & getting used to opening the door from the inside edge took no adjusting to at all. This fridge runs so quiet you hardly know it is running at all. It is so nice to have a new fridge that does not freeze your bottled water, mayo & eggs in the fridge part.

We are remodeling a 1950's Mid Century with a galley kitchen. The old GE stuck out 5+" past the counters, so we decided on this model of counter depth design. We also opted for no ice maker, as they are the first fail. What that means is the entire door on the freezer side is usable storage, vs. an ice and water dispenser that takes up 50% of the usable storage. I researched best manufactures and Frigidaire gets excellent reviews. We could not be more pleased with the design, and usable storage of this model!

Perfect choice

New Frigidaire is perfect for me. Items in freezer and fridge are visible and easy to reach. I didn’t need a hard to replace water filter or ice cube maker. They consume too much energy and space. I am very pleased with my purchase of this refrigerator!

Can't beat the price and quality

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

Very happy, perfect for smaller kitchens. Good brand so it should last me another 10 years or so. Make sure to measure the fridge is a tad tall it was a tight fit with cabinets above the fridge. I wish it had a self closing hinge, doors are a bit heavy especially with stuff inside. Besides that very happy

I love that it doesn't have all the bells and muscles it's just fridge and freezer no water no ice lots of storage and you can change the temperature right on the front you don't have to crawl inside clean your light even when you have the fridge or freezer full, love the Ben and the freezer never had one of those before.

Angie O · Apr 17, 2025

Refrigerator working great

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

What I like: the square drawer and shelves. The ease of changing the temperature if I want. That it has no water anything so I have to deal with hoses, filters, or leaks. It makes a lovely little far-away fog-horn sound which is pleasant and while the initial coolant noises confused me (they sounded very 'watery' and I have no water hooked up) once I knew what they were, they never bother me. It's pretty quiet. What I like less: My kitchen is full of soft-close drawers so the fact that this requires an emphatic push to close is annoying probably because everything else is soft-close so I have to push them very gently. Since it sticks out about two inches past the counters, I'm not sure how counter-depth this is (not that I have a non-counter-depth to compare it to). I feel like I have pretty deep counters but it still sticks out a bit. Otherwise, nice! I'm glad I got this one.

It works

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

It feels too early to evaluate his appliance, as we've just had it for 2 weeks. It does what it's supposed to do. My only complaint is the warning beep for the open door. I wish there was a way to temporarily cancel it, for example when loading groceries into the fridge. If it could be turned off temporarily, like for 5 minutes, it would be a great help! It's pretty loud when you're standing in its open door.

Setting the temperature for the freezer and the refrigerator was very easy. The door bins in both the freezer and refrigerator hold a lot of items making it easy to organize. Our last garage refrigerator was destroyed in Hurricane Milton. We replaced it with this model without the ice maker. We have an ice maker in the kitchen fridge so we really didn’t need another. This new Frigidaire FRSG2115AV is really a nice good modern looking Frig that is simple and built to last. There is no water or ice dispenser built into the door that makes for a longer lasting frig because most refrigerators with extra gadgets on them ten to break sooner, and that fact is backed by many service techs. This new Frigidaire uses less power 1.4 Amps as compared the Norcold RV frig that requires 6.0 Amps, do the math folks, this frig pulls 60% less power to operate that most others. Not only will it be a money saver, but I will also get many years of service out of this model. Also, I installed this in my New Class A motorhome replacing the factory installed absorption type that was 18.3 cu ft and this one fit perfectly in the RV is now 21.4 cu ft.

Additionally, the open door "ding" is not nearly audible enough to alert you that the door is not closed. I forsee this being a serious issue.

It irritates my dog and takes an hour or two to calm him down. If something spills inside, it most likely will take more than 1 minute to clean it up. Wish shelves on doors could be adjustable, maybe also have another 1 or 2 shelves for the doors

This unit needs adjustable shelves,1 more bin in each door, and an electronic lock to keep the temp from changing so easily as people use the door

Garage ready false and mismatched information

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

This fridge has false information about being Garage Ready, first of all if it's a garage ready then temperature features should be between 38 f and 110 f, while the fridge is advertised as garage ready , it's shows the following conflicting information on frigidaire site"Garage Ready Place this unit in your garage without worry. This unit is designed to perform in temperatures ranging from 55°F to 110°F." Also on other vendors sites( home depote and beatbuy) it showes 38 F to 110 F so which one is correct about the fridge? And is it a garage ready or NOT ?

Good fridge - horrible sounds

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

This is a good fridge, but it has a "feature" that makes a loud alarm go off if the door has been left open. I checked the manual, and it says that after 5 minutes, if the door is open, the alarm will go off. There is no way to turn this off. In my fridge, it goes off anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute. This is impossible to live with. This is a new fridge, should this be happening?

design flaw

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

This refrigerator is a very attractive and basic model which is what I wanted. However, I am returning it because it has what I believe is a design flaw. After it was installed it worked just fine. However when I opened my pantry, which is just adjacent to it, I realized that the exterior of the appliance gets hot to the touch. If you have cabinetry next to it, it will get warm. I have never had even an old school fridge that got hot on the exterior. Probably not the best for food storage in my pantry. If I kept this appliance in place would it have damaged my cabinets over time? The manual even mentions in the trouble shooting chapter that "it's normal". "Solution" is to wear gloves to touch the side panels if needed". Really? what if your installation was such that a child could touch it? Suggestion is to read the manual before purchasing .

Fridge is lukewarm

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

The refrigerator was purchased in anticipation of summer heat as our old refrigerator, 30 years ago, a Whirlpool, was starting to keep the drinks at a warmer temperature. Since North Carolina is in a high heat mode 90 degrees plus, we gave the fridge side leeway to make the contents cold. However, after two days the bottles of water are still lukewarm. We are now in the process of searching for another refrigerator, and I can say it will not likely be a Frigidaire. Our preparation to avoid being without a garage fridge does appear to be unachievable. Upside the freezer side worked fine.
