It's a great little fridge, but the way the shelves are set inside, don't allow me to adjust for tall items like wine bottles, water or milk. You can adjust those of the door, but I prefer to use the inside shelves for heavy bottles and the door for the light ones. I love this refrigerator though, is practical for one or two persons.

As stated in title, keeps everything appropriately cold or frozen as set forth by you. I have not detected any noticeable too warm or too cold zones; in other words, temperature distribution is fairly equitable. The interior components that are made of plastics and are movable, shelving, door buckets on the fridge compartment are a tad TBD (to be desired), an upgrade in the materials would give that little umph that lets one know they’ve got an Audi opposed to a Volkswagen; even though we’re discussing refrigerators here. Also, it tends to be a little noisy at times; but, in my environment, it’s easy to pick up ok noises; so noises that are noticed in my place will often go unrecognized or noticed in another household.

Perfect for small space

Our kitchen is pretty small and our old fridge was a MONSTER in size. We couldn't have it open and walk by at the same time, we had to wait our turn. I knew I wanted something better for our space. We bought this and everyone who saw it online and the delivery people all kept telling us it was too small, it was a "tiny" fridge. It's really not that small! We are just two people and it's perfect for us. It has great door storage for condiments (with adjustable units), and it's not so deep that bowls of leftovers go bad because we can't see them. With this fridge we can see everything we own and might want.

The fridge's bottom freezer is very sensible, easy to use. The controls on the front are too easily hit inadvertently, resulting in freezing temps around the edges of the upper part which is not meant to freeze.

The perfect size

Just purchased this refrigerator and could not be happier. It was really the only one that we felt like fit the description of "counter depth'. We have a small kitchen and we wanted the extra space and at the same time not having the fridge seem like a centerpiece. Love the information panel on the front and the ease of making temp changes. Couldn't be any better.

I bought this appliance (with hesitation due to some reviews) because of the shape and size. I will certainly update the review if it stops working but at the moment I am completely pleased! If you store a lot of stuff in the freezer - this fridge is not for you, however the freezer is well designed for its size.

Bought this a few weeks ago and this fridge packs some serious room for food. Love all the drawers in the freezer section. It looks like the freezer can accommodate an ice maker but that wasn’t clear on the description. Has water hookup but no water outlet or ice maker. The door also takes up room so make sure there is a couple inches of space to the wall.

The Drawers in the freezer keep the compact space very organized. Shelves in the fresh food compartment are very easy to adjust and very accommodating for different heights of containers. Door swing was very easy to change. Over a great product!

Freezer Drawers are "Cheap"

It is exactly what we wanted for 2 people, couldn't find one anywhere, so only could go by pictures. This unit arrived damaged, no fault of Whirlpool, however, the shelves are hard to install as the door only opens to 90 degrees, which once in place, is not an issue. The issue is with the freezer, 2 very tiny drawers, not sure why, and the cheap plastic drawers are very difficult to open all the way, they hit the door. Terrible design, the doors should at a minimum open 95 degrees, 105 degrees would be ideal. Overall, this seems like a good product

After having to get a replacement refrigerator from Whirlpool because of a punctured gas line in the first one, this one is working fine. I love the refrigerator part but the freezer is a little small for me. May have to purchase a small freezer to supplement this one.

These kinds of refrigerators are quite common in Europe and I have had them in apartments that I rented and it is just awesome in my apartment in Indiana. It looks great, works perfectly, was delivered by masters, and I just love having it in my smaller kitchen. I live alone and in the pandemic it has made me feel a bit more human.

Great Value for a Skinny Fridge

I'm remodeling my smaller townhome kitchen and wanted a 24" fridge to maximize my space. Most nicer 24" fridges are small and expensive European models, so I was excited to see this new model pop up earlier this year, and ordered as soon as it became available. It's a great value for the design and features. As far as 24" fridges go, this one is big at 12.7 ft^3, and though I would have preferred a larger freezer compartment, it's more than sufficient, especially without an icemaker. Temperature is good and even throughout the fridge, though I have yet to completely fill it, which often brings out the icy and warm spots. The doors are sealing well. The electronic controls on the door are nice touch of upscale, though I don't know if I'll make use of the fancier features. Perhaps the quick cool? time will tell. My kitchen is open to the dining and living rooms, so a quiet fridge is important, and while the compressor ran noisy for about the first week, it eventually settled down to an acceptable level where it hums just enough to assure you it is running.

I just bought this fringe for 4th of July.... it seems working fine..great for extra storage and freezer have large drawers even though is 24 inches wide..... the only problem that I have is that suddenly the ALARM button from the door will turn on that indicates if the door is open even though I have my fringe close....

The refrigerator came with my new home in April 2022. It is small but efficient in size. The issue I have is it freezes food, beverages and my vegetables. I have adjusted the temperature but the freezing continues. I had a glass bottle of milk that exploded in the refrigerator. It was quite the mess to clean up.

Temperature Concerns

I bought this refrigerator just under nine months ago and have already had one repair. As a lifelong fan of Whirlpool appliances, this has me concerned. The refrigerator wasn't cold enough to keep food from spoiling and needed a new part. I bought a refrigerator thermometer and it is registering 40 to 41 degrees when set at 34. I needed a very small unit to replace a small built-in Sub-Zero that I hated. Worried that I may still have a problem.

Good size, average features, poor operation

After 4 months the refrigerator would not cool below 50 degrees. Service tech was unable to find the problem. It turns out the refrigerator needed to be defrosted. After 4 months?! Manual did not mention defrosting or that there is a bin in the back that needs to be emptied of water after defrosting. Temperature display is actually 10 degrees warmer than the actual interior temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer. Use a thermometer to determine the actual interior temps. Wish the freezer had an interior light. Steps to reverse doors were pretty easy.

need to wipe down the interior with paper towels, and can wring out a cup or more. Reviewed owners manual, indeed had some food packages too close to the air vents indicated. Improvement, but even with very clear and open pathways for air circulation as they show, still way too much moisture buildup inside on the ceiling, the food packages, and shelves.

Optimistically cautiously hopeful

This is a replacement after having the first one quit 3 different times over a two year period. It was finally deemed unrepairable and we were able to get a replacement through the extended warranty. I am fearful that this one will give us the same problems as there are many similar reviews from consumers. I had hoped we could have gotten a completely different unit. Time will tell. Check back with me in a year :)

Don’t buy this!

I bought this in 2021 & like the set up, it holds a lot for its size. However, the freezer coils are mounted on to the freezer compartment ceiling, held up by a plastic cover held in place by 2 screws that are screwed into the plastic ceiling. As ice accumulated in this compartment it caused one of the screws to pop out & the coils were cockeyed! Sure seems like a design flaw to me, since the screw can’t be screwed back into a stripped hole we created a new drill hole in the plastic ceiling, and who knows how long this one will hold. Repairman designated it as unfixable so who knows how long it will keep working in this condition! I am very disappointed that a 4 year old refrigerator would have this type of design flaw problem!!!! I thought whirlpool was a good brand but I was wrong!

defective after 8 months

After only having the appliance 8months it suddenly just stopped working . I have spent the last 3weeks trying to schedule a successful service call. They have limited selections of vendors (2) that do not seem to want to service and they refuse to replace the product that is still under the limited warranty. I am now going to pursue a consumer attorney to handle the matter.

I bought this in 2020 and the defroster has failed and the only way it works for a bit is for me to pull all the food out hair dry the ice out and then load everything back in every couple weeks. What a piece of junk. Never buying Whirlpool again.

TWO in TWO years

I bought this and it failed within a year so after back and forth on the warranty (I was without a fridge for 3 months) they finally replaced it. That was a year ago and the replacement fridge has now failed. Unbelievable that two fridges didn’t last more than a year. How this isn’t an actual crime blows my mind.

Poor quality

Just like the other reviews, my refrigerator failed after 2 years. Freezer is still working but fridge is no longer cooling. Huge disappointment. I won't purchase another product from whirlpool. Especially when they are not transparent about their warranty. This one is only warranted for 1 year. Read the small print. Thanks for filling up the landfills, whirlpool! At the tax payers expense.

What an absolute disaster!

From day one, the freezer was dripping cold water which damaged the floor. Whirlpool said it’s probably my fault; it wasn’t. It turned out to be a bad seal on the freezer door. I know that my ordeal has only begun, so I will have to be patient.

This refrigerator is good...for only 1-2 years

Similar experience as many of the recent reviewers. The fridge gives out after 1-2 years. Our first problem started at installation. The refrigerator gasket was factory-damaged. Easy enough to replace, but a bad omen. The front control panel just went totally dead after about a year. Fine, I can live without it as long as things stay cold. Then a little after two years, the fridge portion can't stay cold. The freezer works. The fridge does not. We have a baby, and keeping his breastmilk bottles cold enough is now a nightmare. Wish applications could last like they used to. Hooray for maximizing CEO profits with low-quality items that don't last!

Terrible Fridge, worse service

I bought this fridge and it stopped working when it was less than a year old. I took my time calling Whirpool, as I thought I had a two year warranty on major components (like the fridge cooling). Sadly, it's only a one year warranty. Myself and many others have had technicians out countless times and they've been unable to fix this horribly engineered product. Trust the reviews on this one, it's bad. With all of the bad reviews, I'm shocked that they still sell this.

We have had this refrigerator for two years, and it has been nothing but a huge problem. It doesn’t cool properly. A thermometer placed inside registers 55-60 degrees F. The external panel says it should be 34 degree F. We are on our sixth repair and counting. Freezer has stopped working in the last couple months. Ice cream is soft serve basically. I would not waste my money or time with this product or this company. Desperately trying to get a refrigerator that works !!!!!!!!!

Sealant system defective and not under warranty

We have been using this unit for less than two years. The unit stopped working: the top doesn't work at all, the freezer gets cold but not to correct temperature. Our repair guy says that the is a defect in the butane sealant system which is expensive to repair. Despite the warranty booklet saying that in years 2 to 5, the refrigerant systems are covered under warranty, this particular unit is NOT covered. The warranty booklet is written for all types of refrigerators - you need to read the fine print to see that only side-by-side and French door units are covered. This unit is excluded and only has a one-year warranty. Whirlpool obviously doesn't want to stand behind the basic operation of this product for more than one year. Buyer beware!!

Not working within a year!

Bought this fridge on Aug 2020. Not even a year the auto defrost device not working anymore. Huge thick ice on the roof of the freezer which caused my cooler not cooling! I picked WHIRLPOOL because always heard this was the top brand for fridges! Luckily still within a year of manufacture warranty, but now I have to live with this broken cooler until the part arrived so the technician can fix it. What s joke!

Do not buy

I purchased this fridge in September 2019. Within four months, the fridge condenser and coolant stopped working. Regretfully, others' reviews did not deter me from purchasing this fridge. I implore you: Take them to heart! Although the fridge has neat features, it actually doesn't work. My family (with infant children!!!) ate out of this fridge for weeks--and although it deceitfully said it was 34 degrees, it was actually 60 degrees. It's a miracle that we did not get sick from food poisoning. To be sure, over the course of weeks, we threw out several hundred dollars worth of primarily meat and dairy products, thinking that it was the grocery store's bad food. Finally, we placed a thermometer in the fridge and realized, "The fridge is room temperature!" Not only is this a faulty fridge; it is also dangerous and should be recalled immediately. I will be putting in a consumer report and will urge local and national officials to ban this fridge from the shelves. Unfortunately, Whirlpool has lost my trust as a manufacturer and I strongly suggest that you avoid it all costs. I wish I would have listened to the chorus of individuals and families who had negative reviews of this product.
