I am very satisfied with this refrigerator. It has a modern design that looks great in my kitchen, and the storage space is excellent. The shelves are adjustable, which makes it easy to organize food and large containers. The cooling performance is very good — it keeps food fresh for a long time, and the freezer works perfectly. Another thing I really like is how quiet it is; you can barely hear it running. It is also energy efficient, which helps reduce electricity costs. The temperature controls are simple and easy to use. 146. This refrigerator is so cool, indeed

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

A strong choice for medium to large families (5–7 members). It offers ample storage space, making it easy to store weekly groceries, large containers, and beverages. One of its key strengths is Twin Cooling Plus, which uses separate airflow for the fridge and freezer. This helps keep food fresh longer and prevents odor mixing. The 5-in-1 convertible feature is another highlight, allowing you to convert the freezer into additional fridge space when needed—very useful during festivals or bulk storage. The refrigerator runs on a digital inverter compressor, ensuring quieter operation, better durability, and energy savings compared to traditional compressors. Cooling performance is reliable, even during hot summers.

I’m really like nmy new Samsung Refrigerator! I finally had to replace my 30+ year old refrigerator and what a difference it’s made. The cooling is even throughout and the LED lighting is a big improvement. The only downsides are no deli drawer for luncheon meats and the available shelf spacing could be improved to allow for more taller items. Those changes would upgrade my rating to 5 stars.

  174. Good Value & Works Great ….but

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Good value and works great with only a couple caveats. 1) glass shelves bow when full with beverages 2) trips gfci Bought this as a garage fridge and for that it’s been excellent so far. Well see what winter brings. But about a month after purchase out of no where it started tripping the gfci. Temporarily ram an extension cord, problem solved. Couple weeks later an electrician came out and wired a dedicated 20A line, and 20A gfci outlet……the fridge still trips the outlet. Remove and replace with standard outlet and no problem, does not trip breaker. I wanted a dedicated outlet regardless but to spend the money, and have the issue persist was disheartening. Overall we like it but only time will tell.

AJ Madison · 3 out of 5 stars

I bought this last week and the delivery guys would not reverse the doors for me. So I followed the instructions step-by-step and figured it out. I got the wiring re-routed (what are the wires for anyway?) everything swapped from side to side, and even got the levelers work fine. However the door seals don't seem to seal on the "new" hinge side. I can feel cold air leaking out! It is as if the hinge holds the door too far out. I can slide a couple of piece of paper between the seal and the box. Is there a way to get the seals to seal or will I need to turn the doors back around again?

Have not had problems until recently but now there is a water leak coming from inside the refrigerator, possibly from the upper vent, which we cannot seem to fix. Unfortunately neither the manual nor none of the on-line help tips address this particular kind of leak

  201. Door not reversible because hinge caps broke

AJ Madison · 3 out of 5 stars

Don't even try to reverse the doors. I'm pretty handy with working on appliances, so I watched some good instructional videos and followed the instructions in the Samsung product manual exactly. Had the fridge all taken apart and was about 3/4 of the way through reversing all of the many hinges, parts, screws, cups and wires. Got to reversing the very bottom door hinge (*bears a lot of weight and needs to be right). I went to remove the decorative hinge caps on the left bottom and both of them broke off inside the machined screw hole - it seems that they were either glued in there at the factory, or screwed into the threads. Regardless, there was no way to get the broken plastic out of there without damaging the screw holes and rendering the whole job as futile. I tried tapping the plastic out, but it would not budge and just damaged the machined threads. I then realized that there was no way to attach the bottom hinge to the other side without drilling new holes and machined housings. If Samsung wants to advertise the doors as reversible, then they should build the product so that the caps can be popped out like they are supposed to, without breaking.

  202. Still trying to figure out easy door closing

AJ Madison · 3 out of 5 stars

Would give it 4 plus stars, except that I’m having the darndest time getting it balanced so that the door will swing shut on its own. Any advice? The manual is very sparse on info about leveling, and nothing in relation to balancing the door swing properly.

  204. Very sleek looking

AJ Madison · 3 out of 5 stars

Keeps everything cold and gets cold instantly but not suitable for a home. Maybe an office or dorm.

  205. Fridge works - adhesive never came off

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

The fridge works - the adhesive never fully came off from the plastic on the door and the unit was delivered with a small dent. I have had no success to get support via chat, email, many calls, writing reviews, and disputing the charge. Buy another brand! I am sure this post will be censored like the last one…….so much for being client-centric!!!!

  206. Don't get

AJ Madison · 2 out of 5 stars

It is a spacious fridge, not alot of freezer storage. And don't get me started on switching the doors from left to right. It took us over 2 hours to do. Way to many parts that needed to be switched. Insulation in some of the holes that made it impossible to get screws in. The wheels on the back didnt help hold the fridge still to move it. What a pain! Should have just bought a new fridge!

  210. Did not last 2 years

Did not last 2 years before refrigerator section stopped cooling below 40 degrees. Repairs cost half the price of the unit.

  211. Won’t Cool Properly

AJ Madison · 2 out of 5 stars

This particular fridge is just less than 3 years old. It will not get colder than 42 degrees anymore. I have placed a known accurate thermometer in 3 different locations inside the fridge. It is in a climate controlled office with very little temperature swings.

  212. Freezer stopped working

Utter trash. The freezer temperature sensor has always been haywire and now it just absolutely does not work. So disappointed with the trash warranty.

  213. Door swing is NOT reversible

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

I purchased this product 2 weeks ago and have been attempting to get the 3 needed parts to reverse the swing of the doors. They advertise that the doors are reversible, but you need a left hinge cover and two hinge screw caps to complete the job. You would think these would be included or at least available to complete the job. This will be the last Samsung refrigerator I purchase.

  214. Misleading Auto Ice Maker "Quick" Install

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

This product deserves a -10. Note, there is no information both in the unit's 144 page user manual nor the single page manual for the auto ice maker as to the location of the input for the water line to connect your water line, to the input on the unit to complete the install of the ice maker. Where is the water line located and why can't Samsung provide this information? After contacting Samsung Customer service via the Facebook Messenger links found in many of the other customer complaint reviews here on this site, I was told by a rep who said he is also a tech, there there is no information listed in any manual and to contact an "installer", I am guessing a plumber, to locate it. Will Samsung pay for hiring a plumber to install? Why isn't this information provide anywhere by Samsung? This is false advertising and the customer is now expected, after purchasing the unit, to hire a third party to "locate" the water line input. I am happy to provide Samsung with the invoice, where should I email it to? Please do not reply with links to customer service chats that are not helpful. Happy to receive a name and direct line to someone who can provide the information on the water line input or pay for a plumber. Worst purchase ever. My elderly parent's are disappointed and I feel great regret. Do not purchase this unit.

  215. Poor quality and poor warranty.

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

The fridge is not great quality. At least mine. About once a week water runs out of the fridge light, from the freezer I am assuming, and fills the top door tray. We have a routine of emptying it. Oddly we don’t even have a waterline connected, so maybe some kind of defrost cycle or something. We haven’t been able to get the warranty to cover it either. I would avoid it and maybe Samsung.

  216. Perfect size refrigerator

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

I hope after it is repaired it will be great. Repair people so far are really bad. Over 45 minutes just to be given a phone and a repair ticket. Sadly that was just the start, the phone# was to a company that has a recorded message stating sorry but we are having problems for the 3rd day. Our freezer leaks & is full of frost, the door isn't straight & leaks, probably the main problem. Please help We bought 2 Samsung refrigerators last Dec. Our other inside refrigerator, Samsung 22.6 CUFT FDBM RF24R7201SR’AA Ser# 0B2J43BTB00198R & it still has never cooled the top area below 44* not the recommended 37* So not very happy
