We like this refrigerator as it cools everything and is very quiet. We took out one shelf as it worked better for us and seems to seal good. And we love the indoor ice and the extra ice in the freezer. So we are very happy except it does have to stick out in the kitchen as other wise the left door won’t open as we have a wall on that side! So the measurements are deceiving as it is wider than it says if you open the doors!

Works Perfectly!

We purchased the refrigerator model LRFXC2606S. So far, we have only been completely thrilled with the refrigerator and its operations. It runs almost completely silently, makes ice like crazy, and has three more cubic feet of storage than the refrigerator it replaced with exactly the same footprint. It has met or exceeded all of our expectations up to this point. Highly recommended!

I purchased this model in December of 2024. It replaced a previous refrigerator that I had for about eight years. The features were similar but this has a dual ice maker which is so much more useful. The variable ice cube size maker is also a "cool" feature the previous model did not have.

Wish I had it long ago...

We bought this refrigerator in November 2024. We love it. VERY spacious with great lighting (almost calming) inside. Only a couple of negatives, and they are minor "1st world" problems. 1) I had a little trouble adjusting the level of the top shelves. 2) My wife thinks the water/ice dispenser could be a bit better. (I don't use it as much as her, and I think she just has to get used to it;) My only regret is to not have had this fridge about 10 years ago for my kids' athletic events. This thing makes a ridiculous amount of ice in my opinion! I actually counted them----300 cubes...and they aren't small. I would recommend this fridge to anyone, but at 26 cubic feet, it won't fit in everyone's kitchen...

Spacious counter depth fridge

This refrigerator has excellent review as per store where I purchased and I agree with their reviews. It is definitely a great brand to have because I can rely on it. Thank you!

The bottom freezer is convenient and the two sections allows us to sort frozen items efficiently. The doors are smoother, the lighting is better, the dual ice makers are wonderful and we shouldn’t ever run out of ice with large gatherings again! The ice cubes are even smaller and better than our last fridge. Live this unit! The value is excellent!

I hesitated buying this counter depth model but now, I say "What took me so long to decide?" Lots of perfectly sized spaces on both doors for many, many large items and lots of the oddly shaped small items. Call me a happy camper!

Works great. Features easy to use. App works well with frig. Just wish it would stop asking to connect to Bluetooth every time you open it. Also the door alarm goes off to early. Would be nice if you could adjust it like 1 min 2 min or 3 mins. I spend more time closing the door to shut the alarm off then reopen it to get out what I want.

More than expected

We had to buy a new refrigerator four days before thanksgiving because the 14 year old refrigerator went haywire and died. We had LG products before and were very happy with them. Once we got over the frustration of using the app everything went fine. I appreciate the two ice makers and the size variety including crushed ice. The top is huge and reminds me of the old style boxes of old that hold so much and where everything is visible on every shelf. A big factor is that it fits perfectly where the old fridge was. That’s very important in a 25 year old house like ours. There is no room for renovation to fit a larger refrigerator in the space. The freezer is equally as easy to find things and the size is great for our house. After having this refrigerator for three weeks now we realized how bad the old one was and how much it had gradually lost its operational efficiency. We’re very pleased with everything about this new refrigerator and its 26 cubic feet of combined storage space. The ThinQ app is very handy and will do much more than simply remind you to change the water filter when the time comes. Overall the purchase was a little more than we would have chosen to spend at the holiday season but we have no regrets because we have a good comfort level with LG products from the microwave to numerous televisions and small appliances over the past years.

Nice Fridge with One Design Flaw

We like the fridge. We do not use the smart technology features. We like that there is ice in 2 places. The fridge is roomy and adjustable. The only complaint I have is the leveling. There are only leveling feet in the front, none in the back. If your floor is uneven like mine, those feet do not help. The flap on the left door should close automatically. Mine does not because the fridge is not level. I feel like this is a design flaw. I don't know why the top doors don't close like a side by side. A side by side fridge does not require that extra flap to close properly. If you have a nice level floor, then I recommend.

This is a really nice refrigerator. It has lots of space and refrigerates really nicely. This was the problem with our old frig even before it wouldn't keep working. The exterior stays really clean as it is the stainless steel exterior. It really makes lot of ice very repidly. Haven't had the refrigerator enough to rate it excellent yet.

Counter Depth Refrigerator

Love my 2nd counter depth refrigerator. 1st one stayed in our home we sold. Had a full size after we moved. After 12 yrs. it was time for the new LG counter depth refrigerator. Couldn't be more pleased. I was not able to reach the top or back of full size refrigerator unless I got on a step stool. It was just a waste of space for myself. Now everything is accessible, love the size.

Great Refrigerator with a small problem

This is a really nice refrigerator. It provides an additional 5 cubic feet of space with the same footprint as my previous fridge. It provides water, ice cubes and ice shavings really well. It runs really quietly. I do have two minor issues with it. One was when I was adjusting the shelves, I had difficulty getting two half shelves to line up next to each other and settle into place. The other issue is that it sets off a tone almost every time it is ready to make a new ice cube. It does this even when the ice cube holder is full (maybe especially when it is full)> I have contacted LG (they have an excellent service system) and was unable to make the tone go away.

We’ve had our French door refrigerator for about 18 months now, and are mostly very happy with it. Lots of storage space, great in-door ice unit, and a very nice stainless finish Our one and only complaint is that there is no way to turn off (or, at least, temporarily disable) the "open door" chime. When cleaning or filling the fridge, it goes off every few seconds. Please, LG, please add this feature ASAP!

It just sits there... No noise, no ice maker drama and looking pretty. Plenty of convenient space on the doors and shelves. Ice is dispensed super cold so less is needed. If more is required then there is an extra Ice maker in the freezer for special occasions. No annoying lights or displays on the doors but has a conveniently located and intuitive control panel inside for settings.

Have had this model for just under a year. So far it works well, does everything it is supposed to do. One negative, the inside of the left hand door is not as deep as the picture shows. Little jars or flat jars or containers are all that will fit, that’s ok. My biggest complaint is the door alarm. Never had a fridge that you could not regulate this feature. It has one setting, LOUD. Big mistake on LG’s part. If left open for more than a minute it starts in dinging and will not stop until door is closed. Every other feature works as it should, so far.

I've had my new fridge a little over 3 weeks. Initially I was not happy ordering a counter depth but that was what would fit through the door. There are several things that I like more about this fridge than my last one. It has really big vegetable bins! I use a lot of fresh produce so this is great! I also like the square ice cubes it makes and the ice bin. Deep sides and all the ice stays in it. The exterior fingerprint resistant stainless is very nice and truly IS fingerprint resistant. It hardly gets anything on it.

I bought the refrigerator in October. We love it. Has more room than our old one. We just wish we could move the shelves where we want them.

New Refrigerator

I desided that the white appliances I have needed to be "refreshed"so I replaced them with stainless. I like the features LG has to offer. This refrigerator is really nice. The one and only thing I DON'T like is that the Crispers have an awkward handle system. You have to grab the bottom of the drawer to open it. Maybe I'll get used to it after awhile, hope so!

I bought this refrigerator back in November. Never owned one with the built in water and ice distributor. we love it.. will never buy a normal refrigerator again. It even let's me know when I need to change air filter and water cartridge. The wrong air filter cover was on the refrigerator when I went to change the air filter. I contacted LG and they shipped me the cover no charge.

I have had my LG fridge for about 6 weeks now and I love it. So spacious with lots of shelves and drawers for storing fruits, vegetables, deli etc. It has an ice maker in top door, and one in the bottom freezer also for extra ice. Very easy to keep clean since it is smudge proof. I would recommend this to others.

Have had for one month and all is well. The only thing is that the way the top french doors are placed, if you want to get to one of the two drawers in the refrigerator they do not align with the width of the french doors so one has to open both doors all the time. Compressor warranty is 10 years.

Dual Ice Makers

I like this refrigerator so much that I have actually purchased 3. We purchased this fridge for our son and daughter in law as a house warming gift 5 years ago. They researched and it is the one they wanted. Last year we bought one for our beach house and now we have purchased again for a 2nd home. What has sold us on this model is it's a large counter depth refrigerator and has plenty of room. It also has dual ice makers and that is a game changer when you live in a hot area of the country. We a a different model in a home a few years ago and the main unit died. LG stood behind their product as it was still under warranty so that also sold me on the LG brand.

We’ve had this refrigerator for about two weeks, and love it! We have model LRFXC2606S. The controls are easy to understand. The door ice maker makes great cubes and crushed ice. The design with the ice maker built into the door means that there are full width shelves in the entire refrigerator compartment. It also provides better access to the back of the ice maker.

I could not be happier with my LG French Door refrigerator. I had originally bought a Frigidaire and had to return two of them due to defects. We went with the LG and so far it has been perfect. It is very quiet, makes loads of ice, and although it is smaller than the last two, it holds more due to the layout. The doors are perfectly aligned and it is really close to fingerprint free. Temperature wise it is on spot. I highly recommend this refrigerator.

It has a lot of storage. The tiny hidden shelf is a little odd. If I put something down there I forget and never see it. It was nice I could adjust the main shelves to fit my needs. I removed one and packed it away.

At this point I am pleased with the working of this product. This is the second LG refrigerator I have purchased within the last 9 years. The first one had multiple mechanical issues that were handled properly by your company. Trying to give your company a second chance with this new LRFXC2606S. A little disappointed in the features of the new one compared to the features on the old one LFXC24726S. The lighting inside the new one, does not compare to the multiple lights in the old one, making it hard to see items when it is filled with groceries. The dark color background in the door water and ice dispenser has a very small light on only when using, making it very difficult to see at night. The double ice maker is a great feature, always ran out of ice on the old one. The increased refrigerator and Freezer storage capacity is also great.

Overall, we are very happy with our LG refrigerator. The PRO's are: 1 Spacious and deep. 2 Easy to change filters. 3 Easy to clean, and doesn't leave streaks. The CON's are: 1 Cannot turn off the ice maker in the door. Can only turn off the ice maker in the freezer. 2 The left refrigerator door closes automatically, but not the right door when partially open. When the doors close, they should close without slamming shut. Suggestion: When maintenance needs to be done, for example, changing the filters, not only should the indicator lights come on, but there should also be a chime. At the very least, the indicator lights should flicker. I actually experienced this problem.

We've had this refrigerator for 4 months and it replaced our old Kitchenaid side-by-side. We figured that since both refrigerators take up the same space that they'd have similar storage capacities. This LG refrigerator has so much more room inside! The French doors and freezer drawer allow for larger items to be stored which was something we were truly missing with our old side-by-side. The counter depth feature certainly doesn't sacrifice any storage space either and allowed us a more modern built in look with our cabinets. The two ice makers are a plus too. We like the smaller cube size from the door ice maker because it satisfies our pellet ice preference and the large ice bin in the freezer holds plenty of cube for when we have company. We are very happy with our new LG refrigerator for its appearance, capacity, features and performance.

Many improvements over old LG, one downgrade

I got my new fridge a couple of weeks ago replacing a similar styled 12 year old LG fridge. Many of the features are familiar and a few I see as big improvements but there are a few issues compared to the old one. First the new fridge is counter depth but has the same cubic feet as the old standard model. The inside feels like it is more spacious and the shelves on the doors are actually useful for something other than a cube of butter. While I like the shelving setup a lot the previous model had more options for adjustability and allowed tall items to be placed on nearly any shelf depending on how you set it up. The 2 ice makers is a great feature. My previous one had the in door ice maker only and while it usually was sufficeint with a few people over in summer it was not uncommon to need based ice. I lie that this fridge has the same in door setup, plus it makes larger standard sized ice in the freezer itself. It makes a lot more ice also. I expect to be dumping the freezer one every few weeks. over winter. I do wish that each ice maker had a physical switch on it like my previous one so I could turn one off when not needed. Speaking of ice the dispenser on the door is a major downgrade compared to my previous one. Honestly, I would trade all of the better feature of the new fridge if I could have the old ones ice/water dispenser back. So, what are the problems? First, it is sold as being able to fit pitchers now, It does not. The old one did but this one not one of my 5 pitchers (from1.5 to 3 quart) come close to fitting under the outlet. In fact under the spout on this fridge is not quite 9 inches of space, my previous LG had 11 inches, plus a pull out shelf so you could let a pitcher stand there. Then we have the light, My previous fridge it was bright and you could see how much ice/water were in the container. this one is so dim if the kitchen is not dimly lit you cannot even tell it is on. You cannot see how much ice/water is in the container. Then you have the outlet itself. The water is so far out from the button to press to release it that tall thin glasses cannot be filled in the standard way. You must hold the glass where you think the water will come out and press the button on back with your hand. Ice is even worse. I have yet to fill any glass I own without some ice missing the cup. It is kind of crazy as neither of these issue happened on the older version. Finally the top of the fridge. The old one was completely flat top to back except for the hinges. The new one has a ;are plastic cover with vents taking up the whole width and half the depth so I can no longer store anything on top of it. Who thought this was a good idea? Outside of built in fridges I have never been in a house that does not utilize the space on top of the fridge. This new fridge has effectively stolen and entire shelf of storage from the previous models. It is also kind of weird the controls are inside the fridge vs on the ice/water dispenser. Overall I like the new LGZ fridge but the ice/water dispenser is a major downgrade marketed as an improvement.

The only issue is that the door ice maker light is not bright enough and a 24 Oz water bottle just fit and you need to prepare the button with your hab to get it to fill. Not a big deal. Loving the counter-depth max

After using the LG refrigerator for 3 weeks now, I have to say it's been excellent all the way around. First, it arrived without any damage, second, the installers knew what they were doing, and third it worked without any issues. I like the design of the interior of the fridge and the depth in that it doesn't stick out too far. The counter-depth max was just what we were looking for. The finish is nice and is easily cleaned. The best thing is that all the ice makers work :).

This is the third LG refrigerator I have bought in the past 8 years. The first purchase was to replace a refrigerator that had broke and could not be repaired. We really liked the refrigerator, so we purchased the exact model when we moved in 2020. The newer model has double ice makers that we really like. The counter depth model was purchased at another house we recently moved into. We still like the refrigerator, but after having it only a few weeks, the water dispenser and ice maker stopped working. Fortunately, the part was replaced within a week and a half. Now it is working perfectly. We still think this refrigerator is the best choice for us, due to room for food and beverages. We highly recommend this model!

I like the freezer on the bottom, but am undecided if I like the second smaller drawer in the freezer as it always seems to be in the way. The interior of the fridge is spacious and well lit. I’m wondering however how long the thin plastic drawers and trays will last. Overall happy with my purchase.

Overall, i am very impressed with the fact that this counter-depth refrigerator has replaced a full-depth refrigerator without having to sacrifice internal storage capacity. It is also apparent that the build quality of this unit does match that of the comparable unit that it replaced. This is evident in the quality of the plastic in the drawers and shelves, the weight of the doors etc. I am also disappointed that the display model had adjustable shelves that allowed for temporary storage of tall items, but the unit i received did not. It is puzzling to me that the space between shelves does not accommodate standard bottles and cartons, such as standard 32oz and 64oz drink bottles without having to raise the shelf and severely limiting the space in the upper shelves. This was an unnecessary error in design which could have been accommodated with either smaller increments in the adjustable levels or simply raising the first adjustment level by a fraction of an inch. Are they based on European standards? Either way, frustrating...

Lots of usable, well-designed space

We were doing a complete upgrade of all our appliances (cooktop, wall ovens and fridge), and wanted a counter-depth, French door model with in-door ice and water; very few other requirements. Reviews led us to LG's products, and we impressed at the fit, finish and value, so we went with a "suite" of the items we needed. Since installation, we have been exceedingly pleased with our choices. The fridge has an amazing amount of usable space and a very impressive in-door ice maker/dispenser, although the latter could stand to have a bit more ice storage. That is overcome by turning on the ice bin maker when there is a need for higher quantity. The dual freezer compartments are also very spacious, despite being housed in a single (spacious) lower drawer. The stainless is also very fingerprint-proof, despite our grandkids' best attempts to smudge it. Although it is odd to get a text from your fridge when the door is left open too long (a feature you can turn off), the built-in wi-fi sets up up quickly with a very (overly?) feature-rich app. Quiet, spacious, well-designed and nicely streamlined, this appears to be a great refrigerator.

We bought our new refrigerator to replace a 25-year-old side-by-side that still worked but was starting to make me a little nervous. The old fridge claimed to have more cubic feet of space but the space in this LG is so well planned that we can organize and find things much easier. I'm very impressed with the bins on the doors; no space is wasted. I read expert reviews of refrigerators that said not to store dairy in any door bins, but we have not had any problems storing milk, cream and butter in the door in the 2 months that we had it. One of the narrow door bins on the upper ice maker is perfect for our salad dressing collection. The produce drawers keep fruits and vegetables fresh, and the wide bottom drawer is great for storing cheeses and processed meats. Everything is easy to find. The counter-depth feature is perfect for our narrow and oddly shaped kitchen. Though it isn't really the same depth as the counter, it extends out much less than other models that we had been considering, and less than our old refrigerator. Yet it feels more roomy inside. And it looks great in the kitchen. Since I was used to a side-by-side that had several narrow shelves in the freezer, I wasn't sure I would like the bottom drawer style of freezer, but with the two internal drawers--one shallower and one deep--I find that I can still organize the food so that I can find it easily. The refrigerator is very quiet--the only sound we hear is the ice maker occasionally. All in all, we are very happy with the refrigerator.

2nd time around

I previously bought an LG Frig. that only lasted 5 years but I like some of the features so I bought another. They did get more space in the frig but they lost space on the doors. No Butter compartment and the shelves on the left side are so narrow you can't get anything in them. Lucky for me I kept all of the door shelves from the old one and was able to swap them out. Why they put those tiny narrow shelves is beyond, me why change something that works. I do like the 2nd ice maker in the freezer and there is more space there also. Hopefully this one will last longer than 5 yrs.LG French

Nice Fridge but probably not the best choice for

We bought the fridge about a 45 days ago. Are previous fridge went out and we needed a new one as sone as possible. This one was a newer model of the last fridge we had but was a counter depth. We lost about 2 cubic feet which doesn't sound like a lot but makes a big difference. There where improvements over the last one though. The filter for the ice maker was moved to a more convenient location in the door and the depth of the shelves in the door are larger. But a couple of the changes where not so good. The shelves in the old fridge could be positioned in unlimited ways to adjust the height of each shelves. the new model only offers 3 positions which don't fit out needs well for common items we buy. Also, while probably a improvement, a new filter for air flow has been added that needs replacement every 6 months adding to the expense of the filter changes for the indoor water and ice. There is a secondary ice maker in the freezer that we have turned off. We don't have many parties that would need extra ice, but do need the room in the freezer for other daily items. Over all its a nice fridge but given more time to look we probably would have made a different choice.

Do a lot of research before buying.

The fridge looks great and seems to work perfectly, but there are a couple things we wish we had known before buying. The water dispenser only stores about 12 ounces in the unit to cool down; if you uswe more than that, it takes about 6 hours for the next 12 oz.. to be cooled down. There are no controls for the crispers in this model (LCFC26XS), nor are there controls for the Glide’N’Serve drawer below the crispers. There may be e others, but we’ve only had the fridge for two days.

Freezer Drawers is locked up in ice

The freezer compartment cannot be opened because the water line is leaking water on the freezer tracks that freezes into solid ice preventing the freezer drawer from opening.

The frig works great, but I am having the same problem that many report ... the water that comes out of the dispenser tastes vile ... plasticy and chlorinish. Have followed all recommendations per LG for this issue.

I bought the refrigerator in May 2024. Have white powder deposit coming out of water dispenser. Have complained to Airport Appliance and MGR Appliance, but was disappointed..they did not do anything and blamed it on my water line...which has had zero issues..

Ice Maker makes loud noise. Disappointed!

Glass filler inadequate

Bought our new fridge a couple of weeks ago. It looks great has more room and mostly we were happy. The only problem is that we were very excited about having ice, crushed ice and water in the door but the water in the door is a major disappointment in that the supply line to it is to small and it takes more than a full minute to fill a glass. That is way too long and when I ask the installer why he said they went to a smaller diameter supply line , WHY ? Anyway not happy about it!

I Bought this Refrigerator and received it on July 2. The delivery crew was good. But the Ice Maker in the Door did not work. I was told I would have to wait a full month for someone to service the Ice Maker. Poor Service I say. The Instructions are very poorly written about how to turn the Ice Maker on. My Wife Figured it out the switch inside the Door Has to be Held for a period of time for the Ice Maker to turn on. I realize that you are Bunch of Einstein Geniuses. But I am not. Put the On/Off Switch Ice Switch for the Door Ice Maker. Back on the Ice Maker. Keep It Simple

This unit broke after only 18 months. The compressor went out and it had a major Freon leak. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Please save yourself the time, money, and frustration and go with a different brand.

Craft ice maker is useless

I bought this refrigerator in May of last year and the craft ice maker has already stopped working twice . Had it replaced once and now waiting on the second one . I'm not happy about this at all as the craft ice was the reason I chose this LG refrigerator

Not the fridge I was expecting.

I have had this fridge for two months. In short, I hate it. I previously had a side-by-side. The interior door shelves are either too big or two small. The shelves on the door without the ice maker are too big and you can store too much in the shelves, but cannot see what you have in there. No shelf is tall enough for some bigger bottles of condiments, except the bottom shelf we use for milk/juice, etc. Also, The shelves on that door only allow for one different position. The shelves on the door with the ice maker are very narrow/shallow. They hold a few bottleso f salad dressings, but not much more. The water/Ice dispenser on the door is not user friendly. You have to change the setting to either cubed ice, crushed ice or water. It is not straight forward. Finally ,the top drawer of the freezer has a very loud squeak and often comes off the track and has to be manually put back on the track. The plastic of that drawer seems very cheep. I would not purchase again.

Do not recommend this product. Brand new and door ice maker doesn't work! The ice maker takes up the entire left door and only leaves tiny little shelves that aren't even wide enough for anything bigger than a mini hot sauce bottle. Absolutely no space for taller items. I had to remove a shelf to make some room for larger items (now I have to store the shelf somewhere). The vegetable/fruit drawers do not have customized settings. Craft ice maker is nice but you can definitely find a better refrigerator that makes craft ice. Keep looking- you can do better.

Freezer failing after only two weeks of ownership

Beautiful refrigerator, nice large crisper drawers. Easy to see inside. Love the zero clearance. BUT two weeks in and my freezer is not working properly. First week worked fine. Second week, less stuff in it and it was 20 degrees in there for a few days. Im closing the door carefully and properly. I felt around and noticed ice on the bottom left side under drawer. You can stick your fingertips in the gap in the door seal when its closed on the left side, not on the right. Now fighting frost throughout. The panel on the front of the freezer door also sricks out a bit. I can press it there is that much give. I think mine was poorly assembled. I got rid of my last refrigerator because of a freezer, frost issue. 2400 and only two weeks im dealing with this with this new refrigerator. Im very concerned.

Leaking ice maker, poor response from LG.

We bought our LG counter depth refrigerator a year ago when we remodeled our kitchen It replaced a larger LG fridge that did not fit in with new counter tops. The fridge is great. It has two ice makers that made tons of ice. The control panel was easy to use. But the ice maker is now leaking water through the in door ice dispenser. Rust was developing below the ice maker even before it started leaking. The refrigerator is fine for keeping food cold but the quality, or ability of the fridge to keep working and in good condition for more than one year is very poor.

Reliability questionable

I have had the refrigerator for only 13 months and only moved in to the house full time for the last 7 months, I month out of warranty the fan goes and has to be replaced for 455 dollars, rather expensive for a repair that took 10 minutes to fix.. Both the freezer and ice maker fan had to be replaced it’s one unit.

This refrigerator had to be replaced because it never cooled or made ice. It took from 15 July till 4 September till a replacement refrigerator was authorized by LG. On 6 September replacement refrigerator was delivered and this one is working fine.

I bought this counter depth refrigerator one month ago because of the large freezer size. However, it runs constantly and never shuts off. The drawers open from the bottom which is very awkward and the ice dispenser isn't that great either. The refrigerator seems cheap and not what I expected from LG

This item had to be retuned. Arrived with debits on both doors and drawers. Replaced doors and drawers and then the indoor ice maker that was in one of the drawers did not work. Water came out but not ice. I replaced with Bosch which is great, although much pricier. Would never buy LG again. Impossible to get serviced, based on my personal experience.

I've had this refrigerator a month. Its storage ability is very poor. The shelves are way too close together and very weak. If the bottom one is too loaded, you can't open the drawer. Although there is a lot of square footage, it has the worst ability to store food of any refrigerator I've ever had, and I've owned many, since we were military and I've also remodeled houses as a real estate agent over my career of 33 years.

This refrigerator is extremely disappointing. Where should I begin, for starters everything seems very cheaply made, the drawers are very loose in the tracts, the ice maker is extremely noisy, the water/ice dispenser is very poorly designed, I used to be able to fill water bottles easily with my old unit but that’s very challenging on this one, the ice seems to always have a piece miss my cup somehow, maybe the opening is too big, the right door has a plastic fitting that keeps to door from closing when you give it a push that will typically close a normal fridge door, and I thought I read that fingerprints didn’t show on this unit but that could not be further from the truth. Overall very disappointed in this unit.

Only 2 stars because the indoor icemaker freezes up once a week and I have to remove the door panel and dump the frozen ice. Not a good design for a brand new refrigerator! Called tech support and they had me troubleshoot for 40 minutes before a technician would come out. Only to hear that this is a common problem. Also the lights on the front water and ice maker don't work. Again this is a brand new product from July of 2023. Aside from that it is a good nice looking product

Problems within the first 3 weeks

Some issues 3 weeks from purchase. We love the interior space. It is substantially larger on the inside than any other counter depth refrigerator we have seen. We were very happy with our purchase until the freezer defrosted itself randomly on at least 2 separate occasions. The door was NOT left open as it has an alarm to let you know if it’s been left open. The freezer then goes back to functioning normally. Now we have frost and ice build up inside the freezer from the thaw and re-freeze. Not sure what is going on but we are going to call for service soon. Very disappointing. We had heard such good things about LG.

Bought this a month ago, initially delivered with a damaged door. Sent it back and 2 weeks ago the second was delivered. I paid for installation on the initial order but the delivery driver said it wasn't on his order so they would have to leave it in my garage. After being on hold 3 different times with LG each time, I have given up and sent it back.

Replaced my 9 year old LG French Door unit with this newer version following a compressor failure. Would've been great if the old one had lasted longer but that's the world we live in today. I was super excited with the new until DAY 4 when it stopped cooling. Did all the basic troubleshooting as I didn't want to loose another full load of groceries. Two days outside of retailer return window so I'm stuck with LG repair but they are 5 days out. I've had it for 4, it'll be nearly a week before they can get out and take a look. Pretty bummed out.

Multiple problems with this model

We regret buying this model as it seems to be new. Repair has visited six times over 55 days. Nothing works to cool the refrigerator, but the freezer is fine. LG call center personnel are wonderful, repair man also, but nothing works to correct the problem. We want to swap this model for another. Will visit HomeDepot this week to find out what is possible.
